CoinChat is definitely not a PRISM data provider by the way Smiley

I'll get a SSL certificate and look into client sided security too, on the level of Cryptocat.

I wonder how many USB block erupters will be sold this week with the forum ads. From my experience, the ads weren't that effective for the price. Mining hardware is probably different.

CoinChat is a mod abusive website. It is run by a female accomplice of randomcloud. Talk the truth and you will be banned. Most definitely seems like a ploy of PRISM.

And by Wednesday morning, it'll be back to 2.5/share. Making a profit of .2/share, that's roughly 10 weeks of dividends.

This was an interesting test.  It first appeared as though the Bitcoin price directly affected the share price.  However, once the price seemed to mellow out in the mid 90's, the share price made almost a full recovery.  Bitcoin STABLITY is a bigger factor in share price than I thought, at least short-term (how it affects profit from hardware sales is the long-term factor).

Just shows that ASIC is strong
I was a bit surprised, I was watching the exchange on another stock S.Dice last time and when the price went up to 200/btc the share prices plummeted and when the price dropped the share price rose. So assumed that the price would actually go up because it cost more in BTC to maintain that share price

That said I must be thinking backwards Smiley Or Panic selling can do that too
In it for the long haul Smiley

Just noticed this!!!

yeah, too bad I didn't predict it. I would have bought those 200+ shares that sold at 2.3 this morning on BF.

Maybe this page.

But I don't get why they've only updated the startpost of this page with new pics.
(Difference is that the new thread is 50 minimum instead of 300)

But I think / hope they are gonna sell them in smaller batches. Not everyone wants to buy 50 of them Tongue

So assumed that the price would actually go up because it cost more in BTC to maintain that share price

One view is that the majority of gamblers consistently devout a certain amount of money to put towards their favorite games. It makes sense that as BTC rises, that these casual players put the same fiat amount of their disposable income into btc for gambling purposes. This equates to anticipated less revenue for s.dice and would lead to a sell off on exchanges. As bitcoin gains in acceptance, more users may play s.dice, but the price may continue to go up long term due to demand. If this view is correct, s.dice could struggle to experience any substantial revenue growth despite a growing user base.

That would explain the variance, with ASIC it is about the network and mining as measured in bitcoin while S.Dice is different
Good observation thanks Smiley

S.Dice is gambling, and people tend to gamble a set amount of dollars, whatever that may be in Bitcoin at the time. So S.Dice's share price is very closely linked to the price of BTC.

ASICMINER produces Bitcoins, so the dollar price of BTC shouldn't affect the share price much at all. It still does, but not nearly as much as something like S.Dice.
