I like bitcoin and I like having it. But I can't tell what will happen in the future with bitcoin.
If I need to guess is that bitcoin will rise, people will use more often, company adopt bitcoin, more atm for bitcoin.
So we will see what will happen.

The future is bright now. With some bigger merchants going to embrace bitcoin, it is no secret the price will keep on increasing.
Just looking forward for 2016 with some good news for bitcoin.

In the near future i expect we will get some new wallet Web 2.0 or even 4.0. A neat interface and many usable features.
With better branded wallets, it will caught attention of more people.

Yeah i expected some new merchants, but if we can get neat wallets, it would be easier to asks friends to join the revolution. The current wallet is very outdated in terms of design. These days an applications needs a neat user interface too. I hope the bitcoin dev's will implement or re-design the wallet. It should look very professional, so people now their money are safe in their wallet. |

There is one, that is bright future because I'm sure we'll see the value of bitcoin will be worth much in the future and the way a big company adopt blockchain technology will give good impact..
Already many Ecommerce ventures has started accepting Bitcoin as money and future is uncertain but still one thing is for sure that nothing can stop Bitcoin for replacing mainstream and technologies like Blockchain are the example. But I wish that offline merchant start thinking to accepting Bitcoin in their payment option, I didnt wonder for right now that Ecommerce already accepting bitcoin.. |

In the future all of the internet store like ebay amazon and big company will accepted bitcoin,
and bitcoin will become of the global exchange currency
and hopefully the price will become 1000$ and stable

I think that the price of Bitcoin is stabilising. Around $400 is a good foundation for Bitcoin. I see that in the future, Bitcoin will rise over $1000, well I hope at least.

Not for the near future, to return to the price of $1000 it takes time and strong reasons such as political turmoil or a state of financial crisis |

I can't see any gubmint trying to buy bitcoins. I think that they might try to set up some imitation of it in partnership with some of the megacorps. I wouldn't be surprised if their most favored bitch Google would be involved. Probably some bastardized NSA-friendly form of Google Wallet, where they see and track everything in real time and can use it to jerk you around. I predict it will go over like a lead balloon and will be introduced way too late for anyone to even think about adopting it. Won't stop them from trying and gubmint bureaucrats are full of - Bright Ideas.

I think btc price will drop to 200-300$, maybe even 120$ in the next few months, then raise to 5000-10000$ in 1 year.
it will be really unstable, become worthless in next 10-20 years.

When I saw your question a thought fall on my mind, can alt coins replace fiat? To many people talk about blockchain tehnology and that is a future. Bitcoin is first an strongest, there is a lot of altcoins now... more will come for sure. Can u imagine someone (banks, corporations) start new coin and invest a lot of money in some new coin, push it on market and make good deals with biggest companies, we will have new coin with high price ( maybe its not so easy but I think its possible).
Also there is not enought bitcoins for everyone, in my opinion that leaves a space for some other coins. Everythin is so hard to predict, even for tommorow, next week. Long road is waiting for us, we will see first what new year bringing to us.

I think the moment that offline/local retail stores start accepting Bitcoin, it will be the day that Bitcoin would become mainstream as this will spread the awareness of BTC better. Offline merchants equals more marketcap and higher prices! Just my opinion.  |

I am pretty sure that the bitcoin or some coin like it and in this concept will take over the world someday since Gold and currencies have deficiencies within them.

how on earth will the price drop to $120 with the block halving that is comming closer and closer. that doesn't make sense. i do agree that the comming years will be very unstable/volatile. it's going to be more than interesting the comming years. i hope we can settle above $1000 and not see it go below that level anymore. |
