Bitmain has started shipping S5s, wonder if they'll be bringing more online in there own pool as well.  Interesting to see if these batches of S5s have any impact on difficulty.

Shipping for AntMiner S5 Batch 5 has started from today by batches Wink Wink Wink

I'll go with +0.26 to +0.50 this time thanks :-)

I'm still puzzling about the run of low block finding rates at the end of the last difficulty change. Not sure if this was just unusual luck or something offline but will be interesting to see over the next few days.

On the Bitmain website they say about the batch "This is the last round of production for AntMiner S5, and Batch 5 will be the second-to-last batch of S5 units to be sold."

So will be interesting if they have something planed out for next gen sooner then I thought.

Well it came out around dec s5  and last batch ships in June .
The s-1 came out around dec   and last batch shipped in June the s3's arrived in July.

So I guess the s7's arrive in July?
Of course this means not much room for the s6's
Time will tell.

In the mean time the Avalon 4.1 as nice a piece of gear as it is. Still costs too much I did the review on it and I have 3 of them,

but at 6.15 btc for a 3 pack shipping included to the USA it cost too much.

1650 usd  for  2300gh when clocked to .51watts per gh same as the s-5

1505 usd for   4600gh    when stock clocked for 4 s-5's

avalon simply chose to mine their gear rather then sell to us.

I think we grow a little this diff adjustment but I stay committed to my -1.01 to -1.25 as it includes -1.11%

Looking at their hashnest numbers it seems their are deploying 1-2 PH/s per week at most. That's probably their production capacity. Shouldn't make too much impact on diff, and this batch was overpriced I think.

it will rise,  but i want to stay neutral -0.5 +0.5

For reward purposes you might want to pick a 0.25% range that's not taken. I think +0.01 to +0.25 and -0.01 to -0.25 are available, so I would assume +0.01 to +0.25 since you mentioned "will rise". Let me know if you want a different one.

-5.05 to -5.30%

I'll adjust that to -5.01 to -5.25% to fit within the rules.
