So I made a prediction on Litecoin a few days ago that sparked a lot of conversation on the thread. It was very interesting reading the different thought processes and predictions. So I decided to do the same for Ethereum, however, I think that Ethereum has a chance to go beyond the 2-5k threshold in 2018, if only they would market a bit better. I believe that they need to get these new "coinbase noobies" to understand what Ethereum is and why it's significant if they want to stand a chance of getting above that threshold in 2018.

Ethereum is solid and will rise in price without question. But how much and how rapidly it will rise nobody can really know or accurately predict. Ethereum has a lot of competition these days and I'm sure will have many more in the near and distant future.

I think Ethereum isn't ready for this price. Developers have a lot to do to increase scalability. In the future the price will be much higher!

maybe ethereum can have that price, but im not gonna say its in 2018. Even though the price of ethereum growing so fast its imposible have 15 times from today price in just one years or less

I might not say $10,000 in 12months time but I certainly know that ethereum is the coin to watch and invest on. I think the reason ethereum is gaining this prominence lately is majorly because icos are having it as an alternative to bitcoin .

Im sure it will follow the footprints of btc, as btc is expected to rise much more from here so is eth, but im expecting a realistic value of $2500-$3500 till next year end.

Vitalik is tweeting trashy things only. I believe if Vitalik can make marketing for ethereum project better, ethereum can be $2,000 or above it. The current price around $600-700 is way too low for ether.

Do you mean that the price will be more than $5000 or $10000 just like the OP is saying?

Of course that it would never touch those rates, ethereum is only increasing because of speculation, they are able to "print" as many ethereums as they want.

if tomorrow you wake up and you see a max circulation of ethereum above 100000000 of coins, then i would not be surprised about it.


it is a good crypto, it deserves to be on the top 2, but it needs to fix some issues before making a brand new pump.

Everything is possible in crypto currency but no one knows when it will reach that value.I think ethereum will reach $2.5k by end of 2018.Ethereum price growth is slow because of its unlimited amount so we can't compare it with other cryotocurrency price change they are limited amount.

It depends on the price of Bitcoin, only if BTC can reach 50k or more. Ethereum will follow Bitcoin in the value the most times, but maybe we see Ethereum rising alone! Would be great  8)

Ethereum can't be compared to Bitcoins meteoric rise. I do think it has a lot of potential but I see it closer to the 2 to 3k price by end of 2018. Ethereum has more competition than Bitcoin does and doesn't have the notariety Bitcoin possesses.

If that price will happen then i will buy Lambo for next year. i'm very proud that i have Eth as one of my promising and store digital asset in my private wallet. i will keep Ethereum until 2020.

I will not speculate it but as total market cap is quite low and ethereum too, it may be $5000 but also $500 or $1000. Price is really speculative thing, and depends on lots of things.

In my opinion Ethereum the first quarter of 2018 will rise from $ 900 to $ 1200, but this will not be the last increase.

That's very likely, people want to have this coin, they can't buy 1 Bitcoin but they can buy 1 Ethereum.

Yes, the coin is definitely worth more in 2018, but I do not think so fast it will cost 10k, but to have the cost of 2k is quite realistic

I don't think it will rise stable, it will rise just like Bitcoin. Earlier prices are easy to manipulate. When price comes up to 4 digits it's starting harder to manipulate.

No way. Stop dreaming... We are in BTC bubble, it cannot grow all the time. Every days tons of tethers income to the markets and pumping the price of every coin... We are in a very unstable phase, in every moment it can repeat GOX bubble v2 because of tethers... And when it dump, every alt will dives hard.

I think the same way, nothing is impossible. Look at bitcoin for example, gained like hell. But as you said its quite unrealistic.

The value of all fiat currencies in the world is about $90T. If we assume crypto can get a meager 5% of that, that would be $4.5T. I think BTC and ETH are really the only serious coins so let's assume $500B goes to the competitors and BTC and ETH split the $4T. That gives us a $2T market cap for each. That would put ETH in the range of about $20,000 per coin.

I don't think that $20,000 would be a hard cap but it is the point where ETH and BTC would be really on the world stage competing head to head with the other basket of fiat currencies so rather than +1000% type swings you would be looking at the more regular +/- 50% that we see in fiat.

So simply put if you want spectacular returns you really need to get in now. If you want to speculate, however, a pull back to $100 or so per coin is certainly possible in the near term, crypto does not go up constantly, so if you are patient you might get some much cheaper. A good technique for that is dollar cost averaging. Put a fixed amount in ETH every month and don't touch it until at least 2020.

I think it's just a matter of time when ETH will reach 2k-5k. As far as Vitalik will implement all updated and improovemnets that he announced in November the price will grow rapidly. Experienced investors already has ethereum and number 1 of their portfolio.

For practical purposes, ethereum has become the ideal partner of bitcoin, able to cover adequately the limitations that bitcoin has today, so the future success of both cryptos seems undoubtedly linked, so if we take into account the bitcoin growth potential for the coming year due to the large capitals that will enter the market in 2018, ethereum will undoubtedly grow on a similar scale, although the price of $5,000 or $10,000 seems too optimistic.

There are many  possibilities and speculations that has been made because there are many people hoping for the rise of ethereum that is next to bitcoin. The 5000$ is too much, still it can happen but bitcoin will also rise up because sometimes they are proportional to each other.

This price makes a sense but it is impossible to predict when it will be reached. There could also be a bear market soon.

Such a price will be hardly achieved by ethereum i guess due to it's very low scaling and the strategies that it's miners are adopting won't help it to grow in value . Even tho it has a true meaning unlike other shitty coins , yet it has an infinite supply which will make it's market cap always be divided by more coins which won't let the value per coin grow and achieve such values since it'll need infinite amount of money to do so .

I believe that Ethereum will cost $ 5,000 in 2018. Developers can do a lot to increase the cost. An impressive amount of ICO on the Ethereum platform will make it very popular. In the future, the price will be more than BTC  ;)

I don't think it's possible. I personally think that ETH will arrive at about $1,000, not $10,000. That's obviously too much, more than I expected.

No wonder. In my opinion it will rise up,but i think not so rapidly. Bitcoin has become too expensive and ETH is still rising up gradualy. So there is a big chance that many traders will invest into this currency.

yes its true eth have a lot of potential but they are not ready to embrace it. but if they do able to handle it they will be big and superior. there is big hope in it and there is alot of thing to be develop. i do believe someday eth will increasing significantly more than now. 1000$ is guaranteed for next year.

Ethereum is no doubt a long-term investment coin. The way bitcoin has increased for the last six months, who knows Ethereum could also rise in 2018. It certainly has got a lot of potential.

I am taking your world and will come back to this thread in a year time to see if Ethereum hit 7000 to 10000. I believe it, because All ICO coming out are based on Ethereum and network, and its demand is very high.

Fundamentally Ethereum is already guaranteed by several major factors, for example with the EEA (Enterprise Ethereum Alliance) group that has been formed with dozens of giant world companies incorporated therein such as Microsoft, Inter, and CME Group which recently joined,So for Ethereum Price Prediction 2018 there is an increase but not that big.

That's too much for Ethereum at $5,000 for 2018? I'm not saying that there's no chance to make Eth at that price but we are still not heading even $1,000.  Comparing it's price today at $715 seems to be stable and healthy, there's more of it to come but there's nothing wrong to say and speculate that Ethereum will be at $5,000 on 2018 we are also having high speculations with other coins.

We just hope that a group of rich investors will conspired to pump ethereum like what they did to some coins specially bitcoin and bitcoin cash in which they did a marvelous move that they successfully influenced holders to pour their investments to a certain coins but sometimes their attempt are failed but atleast it has slow moving.

ethereum have a good chance to increase in next year and now the highest price for ethereum is $7xx and maybe we can see ethereum hit $1000 soon. I am sure that there are much of investors waiting for ethereum to reach another highest price and they can patient to wait the moment. but for reaching $5000, I don't think ethereum could increase until that price and maybe ethereum need more time to reach $5000.

I think the ethereum price will be 1000-2000$ the next year. Due to amount of ETH coins it can not be 10k $ in the nearest future.

I think its impoossible to reach 5-10k in 1 year, but my opinion can be declined in case we see Ethereum has extreme growth in 2017.

Ethereum has very good chance increase in 2018, it is rapidly raising at the moment, but 5000k is difficult.It takes time to reach 5000k.

If Ethereum wants to exceed 5000 or 10000 USD , They need to complete POS phase because POW is so slow , it kills me. Litecoin is the speed champion i think. Ethereum need to handle its speed issue otherwise it is hard to see those prices.

hard to say if cause even Ethereum has a solid platform with projects of millions worth of marketcap are working through their blockchain as well enhancing their usability, still there are lots of competitors incoming like expanse or ubiq catching up. Still if we judging by bitcoin which is the prime currency in p2p transaction. Therefore Ethereum would stand a chance to boom to a higher level but still it depends what direction is Ethereum moving, whenever it satisfy investors to look into, Ethereum had already enjoy some good rides this year not sure about your expectation though.

The problem for Ethereum is that it has many competitors for smart contracts chasing up behind it.  So if it does well but Bitcoin coin or coin x has done better, well you picked wrong horse.  Targetting a $ price is always going to overlook the value relative to other crypto is the real benchmark.

Although ETH has had an impressive growth in 2017, I think that $5000 or $10000 is an unbeliable target now. Maybe $1000 to $2000 is a suitable goal for the investors.

$1,000-$2,000 will be much more reasonable price for ETH next year, it is even need hard improvement if they want to hit $2,000 but it is still very possible. Two months ago I thought that the price would be 1000-2000 in 2018, but looking at what is happening now, the price can reach 5000!

Ethereum at 5000$ is a lot of money...it will have a bigger martketcap than bitcoin I think it's possible but not next year...probably in 5 years or more, if bitcoin is still slow and no one can use it anymore then ethereum can probably shine and rise

I don think it will reach $5000. We are at the door of $1000 for first time. There will lot of pumps and dumps following each other in mean time. $5000 for 2018 feels unrealistic for me..

Seems like we can't really apply any more rationale to crypto, on the back of 2017's logic busting track record, but yes. IF ETH doesn't hit the magical 1k mark this year, then that's a very firm target to have for 2018. It might want to take a step back and level there, while 2.0 takes its time to stabilize. I think if it goes to 2k without first fixing problems of congestion, it will slide. It's not Bitcoin and miners will be getting less, so people expect they'll push the price but I think devs will start checking out other platforms like Stratis or Waves. Hold for sure, whatever the outcome.

You explained this very very well honestly. The projection for ether price is showing $2.000 as the next bigest step, if we can't get there, this would be a bit problematic for ether. Staying around low prices could cause a pressure on ether and this is not good the image of ether.

As much as I like Ethereum I don't think it is quite ready just read to be thrown further into the mainstream with the attention it will get with those prices.

A bit more work needs to be done as just recently with the Cryptokitties game launching the network suffered a terrible congestion period, there needs to be a bit more ironing out before I would like it to get to those levels, but as we all know anything can happen and it could quite easily reach those levels sooner than we think.

I think ethereum will go as high as $3,000 but like op said the developers need a lot of advertisements in other to go that high. Though get to $5,000 is very possible and that means those that hold now well seriously benefits from it next year. We expect ethereum, litecoin, and bitcoin cash to be above  $2,000 by this time next year. It then means that buying them now should be the right things to do.

This coin is a solid one but for me 2018 won't be as good as you  wrote, for at the beggining of it etherum will pump to 1000$ and it will go slowly up!

It is true ethereum growth is slowly for now, but on 2018 we don't know if they are growing up faster, because price of this altcoin was so unpredictable for now. I think it is happen if the bitcoin adopted this ethereum, but if the bitcoin do that, the growth of bitcoin will be affected. Since ethereum coin was promoted also by the bitcoin or else movement of both will become more slowly than before.

I think that it's feasible but probably won't happen, although they have a lot of development scheduled for the next year which could really shoot up the price if successful. I suspect 5k is about the upper limit for 2018 but then with the year bitcoin has had, who knows?

If Etheruem just returns to its old ratio with BTC it will be worth roughly $2800 at BTC's current price. Assuming BTC keeps consolidating at these prices and ethereum has moderate growth as well as returning to its old ratio it could easily surpass its old ratio. And if BTC keeps rising than just returning to that old ration might be enough to push ETH over 5K

If its btc, I'd say HELL YEAH! But Ethereum going berserk, hell no. It will meet up to that price of 10000 someday but i don't think within just a year.

I think Ethereum will see much higher prices sooner or later. But I think 10000 dollars will not come right away. If it's over $ 5,000 in 2018, it's a big success. Of course I can not imagine where Bitcoin would be.

$1,000 for ethereum is a low aim frankly. It deserves much more than $1k price and it will probably jump up to $2500 next year. This won't be an interesting thing while other weak ones doing price booms.

Ethereum I think will be at 2000$ already feel happy to get it at that price.. I do not dream of seeing 5000$ competition in altcoin so tight that cause polemic among traders choose coin to the pump.. very happy when achieved 5000 $ because I have quite a lot in an eth coin market..

The prive of the ethereum as of now is less than 800 dollars and I think the possible rice lf ethereum in 2018 is 1000 dollars and before end of january 2018 the possinle price will be I think is 3000-5000 dollars. But the price of 10k dollars we don't know when it happen maybe after few years it will happen but the year of 2018 I think 5k dollars only is the possible and that's not 100 percent it's only prediction and we don't know what actually happen to the price of ethereum.

Well, that's pretty optimistic if you ask me, but why not ? Ethereum is the 2nd most solid cryptocurrency after BTC and I'm pretty sure that new and new investors will jump into it in 2018.
ETH can achieve this slowly step by step. I don't know about 5k, but 2k is achievable for sure :) and while I'm writing this, people invest crazy $$$ into ETH and I have only 40 bucks in it ;D

I really do not see that kind of rally coming up in ETH,it had its rally in the past,when it was below ten dollars and had a big rally when projects started using them and now we have reached over $400 which i think is a pretty decent valuation for the coin which has no limits. The best valuation i expect is $1000 and not more than that for now.

ETH grows very fast, I think it would be higher than $1000,,, but I also believe that it wont be as high as $5000-$10000 because that was too high...
If we see ETH price theese last 3 months, I think $2000-$3000 is a realistic target for us to hope ~

I just thought that ETH will touch 1000$ price, but suddenly DASH overtakes every altcoins. The fact that ETH has ICOs, the support from its projects cannot manage to increase the price to its full potential but I am not losing hope that someday, it will be 1000$ = 1ETH

If we hit $1K before 01JAN18, $5K before 01JAN19 is a possibility. I say this because cryptocurrencies are in their infancy and their growth is exponential. Only time will tell...

See cryptocurrency growth is expanding in the market and people completely start investing in Bitcoin and all other coins are also increasing. At the same time, ETH has also some positive attitude but it won't grow in sudden pitch like Bitcoin.

I think i would believe in this one. I remember last it was $200 4 months ago and that day i read about the Russian news about ETH. It was saying the Russian goverment will use ETH in whole Russian markets. After i read that i exchanged my BTC to ETH. If i stayed with BTC i would of  earn more but i am still happy because ethereum price will be $2.000 soon as you say..

There's great chance for Ethereum to reach $5000 but not $10000 in 2018 I guess. The growth of this crypto is targeting to achieve that it seems, the marketing strategy also looks good by their team.

ETH would be tough competitor for all other Altcoins in 2018 without any doubt.

I see it would be very hard to reach $ 10000 because etherum is still different from bitcoin. someone will choose bitcoin as a promising investment rather than ethereum. but ethereum can be a very good alternative altcoin choice in the future.

I can't imagine 10000$ in just 1 year for this. Maybe after 3 - 5 years from now.
This is all depends on what will be.

I also believed that Ethereum will shine on crypto market next year, I don't care what issues happened on the ethereum network a couple of weeks ago, I  still strongly believed that it will also gain high value just like bitcoin. That's why for now, I'm really focusing on joining bounties and airdrops where I can get tokens that I can swap for ethereums.

5k to 10k for ETH could only be done if US dollar devaluates, i'm not saying is impossible, however it seems to be a pretty high bar for a coin that has been growing steadily but slowly. Let's see what the future has for Eth!

Yes, this is a very high price for Ether. Especially considering the fact that usually the price of this coin grows very slowly. I think that in 2018 the maximum we will see 1500-2000 dollars

Ethereum in 2018 is a very difficult situation to be $ 10,000. this almost means passing through bitcoin

5k is pushing it, but anywhere from 1-3k isn't all that unreasonable. Considering bitcoin is worth many times what ETH is currently valued at, I don't think it's ridiculous to see a very bullish ethereum come 2018

I can not even imagine where people are taking such figures, voicing the future price of the etherium and Bitcoin. Space numbers are always called, and many believe it. I think that almost half of these forecasts do not have anything truthful.

Even with what happened with etherdelta I still do believe in Ethereum. It is unique with a faster service unlike any others.
Love to trade using it and specially now that the price have increase. Profits came in fast with just short term  investing and trading. This could lead the way for a better altcoin to those new creators.

Ethereum may reach $ 10,000, but first of all Bitcoin should see much higher prices. Or the most important issue. If it can move independently of Bitcoin, it will be a big event.

This kind of gain is certainly possible and in percent terms it will be lower than 2017 anyway.
But this will require a very big crypto rally and most other altcoins will go up many times as well. 

In my opinion, I guess Ethereum will go up in a high price exceedingly $5000 in this 2018. It has a high chance if the Ethereum price steadily increasing like now. Ethereum is always surprising us for its price. We all know that it has a great future ahead.

This will not happen, the chain can not scale. Just look at the kitty's and see what it has done to the chain. It's made using ETH very tedious and slow. I think 1k is about the right price and that is pushing it at the moment.

Well i think we should make our predictions with more cautiously . First we need to see when and how fast ethereum will reach the $1000 because only then we can understand the pace of it. I think $5000 would definitely be possible sometime during 2018.  If you look back at Jan 2017 it was around $8 in price.  Having reached over $800, ETH has gone up 100x this year.  It's in the $700 range now but will go back up.  It wouldn't have to do anywhere near that to reach $5000 this year.   It will probably be a lot higher than this by Dec 2018.

People you think rationally. To cost 10000 is a trillion dollars should be invested in only one ethereum. Maybe at the turn of 5-7 years to live and will cost so much but the year is not realistic. FOR 2018 I think the price will be $ 1800-2400.

It is very hard to achieve that market price since Ethereum has struggled to reach the 1,000 price mark speculated by many and now it plunges to 600$ price mark already. It went low after it hits 800$ and it seems speculations by many will come to reality.
Maybe a thousand or two is possible but 5,000$-10,000$ is quite high for ETH to reach by next year.

It's not possible, but probable. Ether has a strong community and South Koreans like it very much like they love bitcoin. This is another factor for ethereum. Next year, $3,000 won't be surprising for me in ethereum.

Looking at the graph, i can see the struggles of ETH in somehow achieving the speculations of others that ETH will reach 1K USD mark before this year ends. But as the time is closing in, it seems ETH's road is getting bumpy and speculating another price high of 5-10K USD in 2018 is somehow very difficult to achieve.

Surely if bitcoin can be valued at what it is, ethereum can easily be valued at 5k within the next years. Considering how ridiculous btc fees are, and how any advancement in btc creates drama everywhere, I think eth should be worth at least half for being superior in a few ways (IMO)

I am strong supporter of Ethereum. I know that nothing is impossible in crypto world, but this numbers are way off, in my opinion. I thing ETH will grow, I am holding in as long term investment and has been very profitable for now, but 5000-10000 is very unrealistic in 2018.

ETH will definitely hit 10K one day but next year is too bullish of a target. I wouldn't be surprised to see 3500$ though. With that said if BTC keeps growing and ETH hits its old 0.15 ratio 10K suddenly becomes more realistic.

I think it will easily be 5k and higher in 2018 due to price appreciation from the growing crypto market, the buy&hold taxation issue currently in play, and the huge numbers of ICO's that are using it for the smart contracts and need to buy it to transfer into new coins being created, which are showing more utility than ever.  If one tracks the current ICO market, we are finally seeing coins with utility being created, which will completely change the shitcoin market into a much more viable market filled with companies DOING things.  Ethereum is the peg for many of them.

I was long Ethereum when I got big into crypto 3-4 months ago.  It was my #2 choice.  Even when competitors came around like EOS and NEO, I was still more confident in Ethereum.  Now, however, I have converted to Cardano.  I would've been optimistic for a $5k Ether in 2018 (I think $10k is too high), but I think as Cardano gets further developed and increases awareness, that it will start taking away from Ethereum investors and eventually passing Ethereum.

If you look at the chart of ETH/BTC on the log scale you will notice that it is in a long term channel. This channel has Ethereum reaching 0.4-0.5 BTC in the first half of this year reaching somewhere in the neighborhood of $5000. It sounds crazy but lets not forget that it also went from $10 to $800 in a single year. That depends on many factors, and most important of them is development strategy. Ethereum team now seems to be more flexible and ready to implement new features. Imagine that tomorrow Ethereum foundation announce switch to Bitcoin emission model with only few million ETH remaining to mine, the rate will skyrocket to the moon in the same day.

10k, possible, 2 conditions:

- eternal inflation needs to come to an end, for example by POS (which "recycles" inflation to the owners)

- scaling; here we have a race between other products such as Cardano, Byteball, BTS, EOS .... which are at ETH's heels. ETH does not have BTC "first mover" advantage, it is the first smart contract platform yes, but not the first blockchain

If these 2 issues are addressed, 10k is possible. 100% POS would probably do that because getting a 3%+ yield on a high powered highly liquid crypto, would attract many investors (money market rates being zero). :)

The first time i had a quick look for Ethereum was July 2017 with a price at 237$. I think because of Ethereum has value with their smartcontracts the rise isn't over. But the transaction-fees are a problem. Maybe the EOS System will solve that.

I agree, anything can possible in crypto market but any coin should grow it's price in a significant way because it should follow market correction in order to increase it's price. I think with the increase in community the value of eth will increase to 5000$.

the only problem is could we wait until that time comes or not because some of us will sell their ethereum once the price is increased or the price got dump too deep. ETH might not able to go so high because in order to go big, one must have a huge demand in the market that pushes up the prices. Looks like it's hoping ETH can break $ 10k this year it's just a fancy wish we all can see for myself the bitcoin alone who pioneered all altcoin is currently down persisted at $ 7k and to rise to the $ 10k range is still too heavy the most important for us the bitcoiners are still strong and do not panic then sell the existing assets.

I think so. And consider that ethereum actually touched its all time high recently while bitcoin was still in a downtrend. That's pretty huge. Possibly a sign that it wont rely on bitcoin.

I think that $10000 is absolutely out of the question. $5000 is not likely either, because this is too much in my opinion. 9-10x grow is a little too much.

Possibly the price will start to recover in a short. This will lead the price reach $5000  or even higher by this year. Because, bitcoin is losing its value and under peer pressure from the government. More people has been switching to ethereum from bitcoin which might generate more market to ethereum.

I think ethereum is not ready for that growing price as we can see now eth is in low price and we know that it's long journey to make possible that Eth will reach a price of 5k to 10k.

$5000 is more realistic price growth than $10k, records showed this year ETH almost reach 9000% price increase so by next year $5k is not far enough I heard there are more and more investors shifting into cryptocurrency trading everyday so next year volume will be huge for many altcoins especially etherium.

You referring to passing bitcoin's market cap? I doubt that would ever happen. Especially if lightening network is successful and popularity rises.

Wow that's huge speculation and too good to be true pardon me, I'm not that negative  but that speculation seems to much for a huge coin supply like Ethereum but if its going to happen will its a very positive sign and a classic example that in crypto everything is a Surprise!

Yes, anything is very possible in crypto as it is volatile but ethereum reaching this price in 2018 is not possible considering the present price and and the bearish period is not over. It will need a lot of time to recover after the market recover and it will reach this price in the near future.

Ethereum are good coin but not that too good to reach that $5000-$10000 in 2018. in two to ten years from now it might reach depend to market at that time. if the market are crash it might be a nightmare for all.

That's quite impossible to reach because as we can see, Ethereum has struggled hard to even reach the 800$ mark again and we're already in the last part of the second quarter. But who knows, Ethereum will make a historic run this year because we also don't know what the future lies for Ethereum this year.

As you said, I also think ethereum need just more time. I think it has already a good popularity now, and in my opinion, this popularity is likely to rise more in the future.

For me etherum in this year will easily go through barrier of 2k$ or even more, this coin is has very big potential to just change crypto market forever, i strongly believe in it.

ETH definitely looks in a good position and this can lead to a great monetary value in the market in the current year. There have been good expectation in the market about ETH and it is expected to rise as high as $2000 or beyond that. It looks a bit difficult when I think about ETH touching $10000 in 2018. This is because even Bitcoin right now is in the $7k range, so a trend of price appreciation even in Bitcoin might not rise the values of ETH that much. It might be possible in future.

If the remaining market will start to rise and the price of ethereum will reach to more than $50k then it is possible that the price of ethereum also increase much higher in that period and then it is possible that we see the price of ethereum around $5000 and at that stage if the price of ethereum reached to a value of 0.20 in BTC then it will mean that the price of ethereum reached to $10000.
The price of ethereum and all other coins depends on the price of bitcoin. It is actually bitcoin which increases and we see rise in other coins too.

It did go to almost 1.5k so i don't think 2k is that much of a stretch - well, maybe in the currently market but during the next bull run a price of above 2k would be all that surprising to me. 10k would.

You can really tell that this thread started at the back end of 2017. Back then, $5k for ETH in a year's time seemed quite possible. But after a difficult year so far for all of crypto, personally I'd be happy to see ETH at $1k by year end. I don't think we'll see anything quite like that Dec2017-Jan2018 rise anytime soon.

I think this price can be achieved in the next few years and people should keep ETH longer. Well, this prediction of yours about Ethereum is very impossible to happen now because we have 4 and a half months left before this year would end. If just Ethereum price was not affected by this bearish market which is still in effect then for sure that at least $5,000 mark might happen but sad to say that even $1,000 mark will be more difficult because of the limited time.

I think we cant see this prices in this year but for 2019 ethereum can see 5-6k dollar it is normal prices for it because I'm expecting 40-50k dollar from bitcoin also, if market return back normal at the end of the year.

Ethereum is a slow mover so saying that it is going to take few years before touching10k dollars won’t be wrong but if someone has doubt regarding its survival strength and I am sure many would be thinking of it as a bubble, then I am afraid they are living in a delusion.
