Facebook Gives Crypto Ads the Thumbs Down.

Facebook has issued an outright ban. As of a new ruling issued on January 30, “ads must not promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings, or cryptocurrency”. The move is sure to be welcomed by Facebook users and bitcoin enthusiasts alike, who recognize that these adverts do little to promote the benefits of cryptocurrency.

This is gonna be a big problem for newbies, aside from the fact that they will have a hard time ranking up, now they cannot even join a facebook campaign.

No this will not be the case because they are banning Advertisements not content. In a FB bounty you are not promoting ads for an ICO but rather the ICO itself through content on their fb page, website, and other social media pages. facebook campaigns should not be effected by this other than the fact that ICOs cant have you sharing their ICO ads anymore.

Well, to make reposts we can, but to write your own message would be a problem. You will need to write about the product, not the conduct of the ICO

I've already noticed that on this passed days when I shared a post from a Facebook page of an ICO and Im notified that my shared posts is deleted by facebook. It was stated there that its a spam on facebook that contain links from a website. Maybe we should just avoid puting some links on our shared posts.

True. I don't go to facebook to look for an ICO. Everything have it's own marketplace. Spending a large amount on untargeted group of people via a social network is just waste of resources.

You must put all the explanation about that. There is missing piece "the examples". It is stated there that "promotional financial products" like "use your retirement to invest in crypto" some thing like that. Well, I think, ICO's facebook page must modify their posts and links to avoid outright banning from facebook. Facebook campaign may also be affected especially when you are sharing their promotional posts. Crypto world is getting tougher and tougher.

wow, this is sad news for the crypto currency world, the question is why did they do that ?

My options here are :

1) based on the amount of unmonitored scams happening on facebook related to the crypto world.

2) Mass control, they'r trying to keep people out of crypto world, because it may lead on them evading goverment controls over our money.

Why oh why? This means that even the Facebook campaigns in all bounties will also stop? What will happen to those newbies who are depending on Facebook campaigns, because ranking up here in the forum also became harder. ICO developers must make remedy to prevent tis. Facebook is their good way of spreading the news about their products and services.

Guys they have banned ads. Those ads you pay for when you boost your post or whatever. Those ads. They are not talking about a page you create or posts you make. It is like facebooks version of google adsense. The bounties will still be available and viable.

Facebook's ban on ICO advertising is normal.
Because Facebook is limited to national laws, and it is well known that countries are planning to regulate ICO, Facebook could face legal problems if it continues to advertise.

They only banned the advertisements not the cryptocurrency pages or groups. Those who are concerned about facebook bounty campaign do not need to worry because it is still existing. We create our own content and share the post of the ICO we are promoting so they would not ban it. What they banned are those pages that are promoted because they paid facebook for it to appear in the timeline of the people who are interested in it. There are so many advertisements in facebook nowadays related to cryptocurrency and most of it are coins the same with bitconnect so the decision of facebook is just to prevent people from being scammed.

Facebook is becoming more strict in terms of rules. They have a lot of users but then implementing these rules will slowly make the enthusiast move to the other social medias to promote their ICO's

Facebook is just trying to protect it's reputation since crypto currency market is not stable and has lots of legality issues. Another thing is that some projects that are meant to be a scam uses facebook to advertise their product and since facebook is popular people might think any advertisement coming from this site is legit which is actually a misleading fact.

Mark Zuckerberg isn't a stupid guy and he knows what he's doing.
I agree with his banning on Cryptocurrency Ads because he don't want people and investors fall into fraud and scams because scammers do afford making Ads on Facebook with a little money in order to get a lot of money from Facebook users.
It doesn't mean that Cryptocurrency ICOs are legitimate when they show on Facebook.

Considering the popularity and mammoth membership reach and usage of Facebook, i am sure they have very strong reasons behind this step which should change over time accordingly. This new policy prohibits ads that promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading promotional practices. This policy is part of an ongoing effort to improve the integrity and security of their ads, and to make it harder for scammers to profit from a presence on Facebook.

They had use the right call this time.
Facebook Ads should supposedly promote international to local businesses and not financial institution ads.
Scammers could afford to post any Cryptocurrency ads and get higher money from their victims through Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg doesn't want that to happen because the ultimate goal if Facebook is to make people and communities closer and not the tool of ruining people's lives especially in their financial aspects.

Maybe they're trying to prevent people from investing in scams and highly speculative investments. However, to be fair, they should only ban ads related to ICOs and ponzi schemes, and keep ads related to good cryptos and services related to it, like the ones that seek to provide educational content about cryptocurrencies and trading.

That's not right to just shut down the posts about the coins and left others, for instance, I can't get what is better in advertising the cars comparing to the sharing info about ICO?

Now it will be more difficult for some companies to promote their ICO's, as the social outreach would be thwarted. Nevertheless, we saw this one coming - it was a matter of time, therefore, I cannot say that I'm surprised. This is why threads like this exist. However, may I ask for a slight favor:
I'm currently considering investing in one of these two:

This news does not yet apply to bounty hunters. It's about paid advertising, targeting and so on.  Roughly speaking, now the FB will filter this topic. On the one hand, a bold step, on the other hand can not be so bad. I hope they do not start blocking bounty campaign participants, you can not keep track of everyone, but ICO traffic will lose a lot.

Not really a good thing for crypto, we've been tested to much how long we support for these. Many argument may happens that falls into like this. So sad for Facebook users promoting crypto which no longer be used, but it won't be our last chance. Still other social medias that still not banning in promoting crypto, maybe we should take advantage on this first before it goes like these.

Facebook Gives Crypto Ads the Thumbs Down.

Facebook has issued an outright ban. Yes, I agree. it's possible that developers should change the way their campaigns, which involve social media. because after all, some developers are scam, damaging the reputation of crypto itself.

Facebook's ban on ICO advertising is normal.
Because Facebook is limited to national laws, and it is well known that countries are planning to regulate ICO, Facebook could face legal problems if it continues to advertise.

Yes, but advertising might be limited to specific country, so they do not need totally ban it.

man oh man, this is such a bad news for us crypto people. not because most of us do facebook campaigns, but because a lot of crypto currencies out there rely on social media sites like facebook to advertise their coins and and spread awareness about it and the crypto world as a whole. not to mention those icos that creates those facebook campaigns to bring in greater traffic or supporters and investors to their projects. i just hope that other social media platforms would not be doing things like this. because clearly, this alone will have a huge impact on the crypto world. i cannot imagine how much damage it will cause if ever other social media platforms go on and do the same as facebook.

I think Facebook is doing their job.
Facebook is bringing people closer to the communities so they don't want people get scammed and ruin their financial status.
I know scammers can afford on advertising their bogus ICOs through Facebook because they could get a lot of money as investments.

I heard facebook will issue their own crytocurrency, is this move part of that plan of them? Perhaps they want to promote their own coin later LOL

Bounty hunters has to pay little more attention on post they're doing. As I know FB not gonna kill the hunters if they don't use hashtags (#ICO #pre-ICO etc) and open advertisement of the projects. So from today you have to forget about word "ICO" to change for "project" or "company". "Coin" would be ok to change on "token" or "currency" and check what you typing on ur reposts. If you're smart and doing not blind reposting you even not will feel the changes.

But if you really happen then this will be very negative step for bitcoin because Facebook is the major source of social media and all over the world people are using Facebook and if such thing was happen then i am sure it will be only because of Some scam ICO's.  There should be some rules for launching ICO's so that scam ICO's problem was go to end.

Well, USA government banned the ICOs, so it's not a surprise that Facebook - that is USA based, has banned the ICOs promotion.
This is the official reason.
But I suspect that Zuckemberg is studying the launch of a kind of "Facebookcoin", and with his immense power probably will kill any other coin.
We'll see.

Facebook will just stop accepting ICO advertisement of any crypto-related advertisement in their paid advertistement, they didnt tell you to stop posting links using your profiles, facebook pages and group can still be used to promote ICOs,you will not get banned if you post ICO or cryptocurrency related topics in facebook. In my own opinion they are just being protective to most of the U.S citizens because the SEC prohibits any citizens in joing ICOs because most of the ICOs today are just raising funds and then will fail at the end or might ran away like what scammers do.

So this Facebook is also used to view Good News and Bad News. ICO now everywhere. Most of the racketeers are home to this Facebook. So it's true that Facebook is the one to bring this ban. No, they can't act biased because Facebook must obey USA laws and regulations. Actually banning the cryptocurrencies ads is a good idea because people won't get tempted to invest in bullshit ICOs (Though there are genuine ICOs also which will get affected). Most of the ads on my Facebook timeline are filled with lending ICOs like BitConnect which is actually a ponzi system using ICO as a name sake.

this is really bad news for everybody. Bad news for ICO scammers but this can affect  for bad newbies who only has the opportunity to join a campaign thru Facebook campaign. We all know that facebook is popular to a lot of people that's why many people advertise their business on Facebook. Now that they ban cryptocurrency advertising on facebook I think this will also affect ICOs in terms of promotional issues.

If that's so, well, I think Facebook Campaigns wouldn't be effective then. I can imagine that one of our sources we're vanishing and it's not appropriate that they are all fading. These are our ways to earn and save, and yt they'd stopped it.  But I think it will still continue. Maybe, Facebook is just looking into Facebook users who they think are spamming. I already experience once then, I'm sharing Posts and posting my status about a certain ICO and then there's a notification that says they deleted those posts for they think that it's a way of spamming. So, right away, I quit doing Facebook Campaigns and I just concentrated with signature campaigns.

This will make it more difficult to generate organic marketing leads but will force crypto's to seek alternate channels to reach consumers. This opens a lot of opportunities for alternative marketing platforms and strengthens the credibility of reputable sources.

It will be interesting to see which platform emerges as the main ad source for crypto's now that Facebook is out....

I was thinking that facebook bounty will be declined by bounty manager or facebook developer
I think your answer will make bounty hunter can breath again. Your answer is make sense and i hope it can be like your answer.

Facebook ADs have done nothing to digital currency other than a promote a volatile nature of digital currencies as a whole. It's been a highly-negative impact on all coins. I look at these post and actually am really glad that they have banned them, because these money hungry ICO's don't need to be promoting their shitcoins/scamcoins to the masses.

Digital currencies and social media don't mix, this is all about profits and incorporating that into the masses spaces is not a good idea at all, it attracts a lot of attention, good and bad. I wish i could go more into depth why, but i'm sure it's probably covered somewhere here in the posts.

It's already time for the ascension of a new Social Media more decentralized. particularly, I was using that Social Media only because Crypto-Currency. That is a good place where you can find many content and enthusiasts. Without this, that site becomes worthless for me, I don't know about others... Censorship has started since a long time ago there... And not over Crypto-Currencies, but over some political groups that Facebook's agenda is fully against. Now seems Facebook has added another enemy on their list: Crypto-Currencies...

Facebook Gives Crypto Ads the Thumbs Down.

Facebook has issued an outright ban. The move is sure to be welcomed by Facebook users and bitcoin enthusiasts alike, who recognize that these adverts do little to promote the benefits of cryptocurrency.

It's not a good thing about the facebook banning the cryptos ads, because it may affect the investor and the user.advertising was a big part to become known the one things by many people.the facebook campaign will gone,Many projects will gone too. But let's see the fesult if it a trully a big loss to the coins that the facebook banning it.
Facebook is one of the largest social media that exist today, with the decision then the spread of campaigns around the digital currency will be a little hampered. But we all have to think of other ways, do not get it because one of the sectors is banned then the spread of digital currency stops. Honestly, I prefer to share Bitcoin information with private conversations, it takes a long time, but personal conversation in my opinion will be much more effective because we can directly deal with and also attract new users by showing what which we have gained. Investing in ICO is an option and it is a profitable option.

He is a business man so to protect other business man from SCAM promoting through Facebook he needs to do that.
He cares for Facebook dignity as the founder of fb.

Yes, I saw this news yesterday, and I saw that all cryptocurrencies have dropped.
I think this should be a big hit for bitcoin and alt.
After all, people who know crypto now are relatively few and facebook is an important channel that can promote crypto.

Great news. Most of them that do ads on Facebook are scams anyway.
I also think so. Verified cryptocurrencies don't require advertising or they can post it in specialist forums.

Wow i think you guys has a point. At first I thought what facebook did was a negative thing to the crypto community but maybe this is for the best. Lot of scams here and there.

This will be bad news once implemented. We learn ICOs primarily from Facebook. There's so much crypto related pages and Facebook messenger groups with trading and ICO discussions which are really informative. Its also the source of earning for most crypto holders to post ads about their cryptocurrency investments.

Am i the only one who thinks that are bad news for the cryptoworld? Because these ads are importing to get some new investors. We need new investors to get some gain on the market cap. So if any other social media plattforms starts to ban crypto ads were in big trouble. I start with cryptos because of the ads in telegram. Thats the first contact i have was the electroneum ico. They did a lot of marketing and thats one reason why they are so successfull right now.

Facebook has taken the decision on January 30. It is very important because Facebook has advertised to sell different types of merchandise. These must have adverse effects on many people. So, if this advertisement is posted in Facebook, then everyone will be released from excuses.I think it is a good news.

Facebook's ban on ICO advertising is normal.
Because Facebook is limited to national laws, and it is well known that countries are planning to regulate ICO, Facebook could face legal problems if it continues to advertise.

So you think its normal? So how about facebook bounty campaign?
Will it be affected?
I hope not. I hope there is other way to solve this problem so i am bounty hunter not stop my job in facebook bounty.

They ban crypto ads = they lost good income and maybe it is good news for other social medias. Basically the reason of the ban is acceptable, because they do not want to advertise something that may make users lose money. Maybe facebook teams need to hire experienced people about crypto to manage crypto adds to filter which ads is not good to be on facebook. Obviously it is not a guarantee that the ads will not be a scam, but at least they can minimize it and still earning from crypto.

Facebook's ban on crypto ads is not so surprising at all. We should take into account that Facebook is an American company, therefore following its home country's laws and regulations, and as of right now, USA has not been very cooperative to crypto. It is being prudent until regulations are set or the market is already stable.

You have to believe because it was for real. We don't know what's facebook is gonna do in the near future by declaring that all crypto sponsored ads will be banned in their network.
What's worse, it may influence the price of the coins.I think it will be hars for me to get enough information without facebook.
The price has been influenced by too many factors and news is one of it and we already seeing that the price starts to move negatively again and this reddy days will remain and unpredicted on how long will be done.
I think they will ban only those spam referral links on facebook that is connected on initial coin offerings, coin promoting, company investment.
Every related crypto paid ads will be disabled.
Also I'm worrying about facebook campaign on some projects.
Are you joining those facebook campaigns? You don't have to worry about it, there's no affection with it.

This ban is not a permanent one I think and in future Facebook may release this ban. There are good and bad things in this ban, as few members said it will reduce the scam ICO's and scam links promoted in Facebook and the good thing is Twitter and other social network will be engaged more on this activity and their traffic may look high from now. I think there's nohing to do with crypto coins price due to this ban.

If i understand their updated policy, they will only prohibit the paid advertisement but they will not restrict users from promoting ICOs and cryptocurency related topics in user's personal profiles it means the only people will be affected by this are the advertisers who are promoting in facebook using the paid advertisement of facebook. But if you are a bounty hunter in facebook this policy wont affect you at all you can still share, link any cryptocurrency related posts in facebook.

This is not Facebook, per se.
This is the handwork of Governments and Financial Institutions that would want to retain wealth and power for themselves.

Cryptocurrencies are currently redistributing wealth to everyone - globally.
Governments and Financial Institutions will do whatever they can to retain wealth and power so that it will not be redistributed to the common man.

I see decentralized social media  coming.  Many changes that are coming in the future will make you wonder if we ever lived and accept the centralized control of some of the tech we enjoy today.  People all over the world will be so decentralized in the services been provided to them and they will not even be aware of it.

I have seen this write up; however, I have also seen other ones that are clarifying Facebook's stand with regards to posting ads in their platform. First off, I think that Facebook won't totally restrict or ban ads about cryptocurrencies because one of Facebook's main alleys to gain profit is through advertisement and marketing. Since many people are using their platform day in and day out. It would be easy to promote anything through it. I think what Facebook is trying to control is the useful traffic that doesn't amount to any advertisement. Unfortunately, there are so many users who just wants to meet their quotas and don't actually think of what they are posting. Due to that, there are so many ads that are not effective and only makes the system heavier affecting other ads that should be in the forefront and should be seen by people.

This decision in the broadest sense may have a special mechanism for this problem.
Facebook says it will review its enforcement policies and mechanisms as the signal improves. Meanwhile, Facebook encourages people to report content that violates this policy.
"This policy is part of an ongoing effort to improve the integrity and security of our ads, and to make it more difficult for scammers to benefit from presence on Facebook

Facebook has the right to ban any advertisement when deemed necessary, most of the coins advertised in Facebook are bogus and all towards to personal gain of the developers and management. They are using cryptocurrency to steal money from people. If i am an investor I will still go with a coin that does not need any advertisement as the coin should be successful no matter what. We can't do anything with that we are just users of Facebook, we will just follow their guidelines as well. I am seeing a lot of people ranting in facebook because of the ban, but they are not considering facebook's part when a product advertised in one platform brings the name of the platform, facebook is just protecting it's name and we should respect it.

I think that market zuckerberg wants facebook only for people to be connected and not to include advertisement such as cryptocurrency because they will not get benefit from it as well, if they will only remove specific ads then still it was a good thing since campaigns can still advertise on groups.

I think this is good news since most of the ICOs that use Facebook are a scam anyway since legit ICO will never target ads to their investors like that. I think the ban on Facebook will not affect ICO because I've seen a lot of success ICO that has not used Facebook ads before. Also, I saw a lot of ICO Facebook ads trying to deceive people by promising them x10 profits in a short time.

I agree, the main reason that Facebook banned Crypto Advertisements is that there are too many Scam Altcoins that try to deceive people into investing into them, this is a big problem for the Crypto Community because it will give them a bad reputation because of Scamming other people. It is a good thing that Facebook banned this type of Advertisement and to prevent further deception from scam artists.

But they continue to advertise scams, facebook is not a good source of news anyway and people who tends to use facebook prioritize socialization and entertainment stuffs.
I don't think bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies needs to be seen that much in facebook platform.

Forget about Facebook crypto adverts because CLOUT is out specifically for crypto currency related advertisements so there is nothing to worry about. You can get more information about CLOUT services via my current signature.

I don't really find any bad intentions for Facebook on banning Cryptocurrencies because they just don't their common mission and vision, bringing people closer to the communities.
Let's face it! More ICOs are scams and fraud and Facebook doesn't want to help those scammers could take advantage the people's weaknesses on investing into Cryptocurrencies.
Banning these ICO ads could protect Facebook from people's reaction after they fall into scam.

I think that's a very good move by Facebook and Instagram. I saw a lot of scam ICO advertisement there, it was very annoying. I hope Google will follow same thing and we won't see any scam ICO advertisement in Google adsense/adwords spaces. They have to regulate ads to protect potential customers.

Facebook banned cryptocurrency ads because they want to distance themselves from the scam that sometimes came from it. Mark Zuckerberg now did not copy Winklevoss twins have done to Bitcoin unlike before when he copies ConnectU. First I am thinking that he will create his own ICO of Facebook but it does not happen.

Too many people lose money on ICO. So I think facebook will prevent them from scam ICO

i heard that news as well, but even though Facebook banned crypto ads there will still be no effect on the altcoins or all of the tokens itself, yes it will promote ICO's projects and platforms but it is only a little part of the industry. There are still many social media sites that are widely used by people and the best example for this is Twitter, because Twitter has many active interactors that are very into reading news and when an ICO promotes their project it will be known for sure with a span of really short period of time because tweets are being delivered with less than a second. That is why i think Facebook will not affect the industry with that big, it may affect the industry but just a little, there is still many social media sites out there.

I can understand it , when i see coinmarketcap promoting known scams like bitconnect . Then you know they don't care and just take the money. Facebook probably don't want to be promoting scams and they don't want to do the research to see if a project is legit. So the easy way is to ban it all , which is understandable.

All the ones I told them is not spam, accessed is granted for all post. and since then I have been posting about crypto without any blockages. I see it as an an easy thing,  you let them know its not spamming and you will be allowed.

However, some have already found workarounds for publishing banned content. I saw a screenshot of an advertisement that posted information about bitcoin using typos: the lowercase English L instead of i, and the "zero" instead of the letter O in the word "bitcoin" - "BlTC0IN". Other offenders put "zero" instead of the letter "o" when writing the word "ICO".  :-\

Banning of Cypto add on facebook seems all speculations. Until now the cryto add on Facebook still alive and well.  It could be some of the people just spreading only FUD.

I have heard of it before and still find some ads made by individuals on facebook which I know is too hard to control. Most of the biggest ICO ads are not posted in facebook anymore. It is actually a disadvantage for beginners because it is another tool for them to learn about Icos. I hope it would be the last banning of bitcoin in social media sites.

Facebook are bringing people closer to their loved ones so Facebook will no longer support ICO or crypto related ads to keep their users safe from fraud.

Facebook's ban on ICO advertising is normal.
Because Facebook is limited to national laws, and it is well known that countries are planning to regulate ICO, Facebook could face legal problems if it continues to advertise.

It seems to me Facebook is having big problem without ICO.
A few famous people like Elon Musk and WhatsApp co-founder have decided to stop use FB and sell FB shares.

that is right, I see too many ads from many ICO and some of them is a scam and run the people's money so I think it is a good step from Facebook to ban the cryptocurrency ads. but somehow, I think the revenue of Facebook will down too because I think facebook take much profit from the ads itself and I think Facebook will make some regulations to control the ads so, in the future, it will not happen again with the same problem and Facebook can give the best service to their member.

Bad move from fb. Will massively hit crypto world since fb is heavliy used for crypto marketing. Alternates routes are available, but this was one was the best. Also, this a big hit for cryptos. This radically reduce visibility and hence will result in massive decrease in exposure and hence now cryptos dont have another equivalent and viable option for targetted ads.

I argue that it is a right and proper decision. It is quite easy to fool people with no knowledge and inexperience with good ads. In addition, many people are jumping into this trap when high profits are claimed. That is why it was decided with the aim of being a precautionary measure. It is necessary to stay behind this decision, hopefully soon the decision will not change.

It's bad news but I think it makes this community stronger here.  I never trust social media as they can delete your account in an instant and they are very insecure.
These companies are acting for the SEC and bankers but what they don't get is they are shooting themselves in the foot as they drive away a huge amount of users and investment.

There are going to continue to be projects that challenge the status quo of the social giants and it could end up knocking them off completely if things keep heading as they do (where we crypto users are backed into a corner and have to create solutions as a necessity).

It should be noted that the reason for this ban is due to scam

Good news because the so called scammers are loosing their grounds already and by that we are safe.

But the fact is we all are at the receiving end

Does it really reach the final decision of banning the cryptocurrency ads in Facebook? Well, I'm still seeing some ICOs promote their project in the FB. but, of course, I believe that FB may ban the ICO that uses the spams in promoting their project. Some bounty participants that spam or scam on the FB are also going to be banned. but, for some good and legal ICOs, I think that they are still allowed with no spam or scam.

The banning is less of facebook not being in support of cryptocurrency. It is more of the platform trying to protect their users from getting scammed through these ads which are obviously placed by scammers to lure unsuspecting victims who just want to invest. Facebook forbidden to post advertisement of any cryptocurrency, ICO and binary options on their sites – the Facebook, Instagram and Audience Network (advertising on third-party applications), said the Director of product line Facebook Rob Lizerne on the website of the social network.

Advertising these financial instruments often misleads users or is associated with misleading methods of promotion, says Facebook. Many companies that now advertise these tools, work in bad faith, also noted in the message. based on their official statement, everything looks logical

I think that they have a secret plan to create their own ICO and they want to get involve in cryptocurrency since, in the cryptocurrency, they can reach more profit. maybe they did that is because they don't want to see that their user see too many ads about the ICO that can make their user being scam by the programs. we don't know what exactly their reason for banning cryptocurrency ads and until now, they don't make a clarification about this and I think it is better that we don't have too often to place the ads about the ICO in the facebook.

The banning was an old news. It has been almost two days since facebook decided to unban ICO related advertisements from their platform. The ban of advertising ICOs was due to high increase of scams and misleading information which made facebook partly responsible for letting those advertisements up. We hope that the current unban will positively affect the market.

I don't generally locate any awful goals for Facebook on forbidding Cryptocurrencies since they simply don't their basic mission and vision, conveying individuals closer to the networks.

Let be honest! More ICOs are tricks and misrepresentation and Facebook wouldn't like to help those tricksters could exploit the general population's shortcomings on putting into Cryptocurrencies.

Prohibiting these ICO advertisements could shield Facebook from individuals' response after they fall into trick.

On the off chance that that is in this way, well, I think Facebook Campaigns wouldn't be compelling at that point. I can envision that one of our sources we're vanishing and it's not suitable that they are generally blurring. These are our approaches to procure and spare, and yt they'd halted it. However, I figure it will in any case proceed. Possibly, Facebook is simply investigating Facebook clients who they believe are spamming. I as of now encounter once at that point, I'm sharing Posts and posting my status about a specific ICO and afterward there's a warning that says they erased those posts for they imagine that it's a method for spamming. Thus, immediately, I quit doing Facebook Campaigns and I simply thought with signature crusades.

This is the same like internet or google should have banned Facebook for not showing them in the google ads or somewhere in the internet, they want to stop bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies but this is not going to happen, bitcoin can not be stopped completely even though there are many governments and europe too that are making hard to buy or sell bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies, even the banks are closing the accounts of the people that are withdrawing money from exchanges.

Who cares about such restrictions? Advertising FB can be very expensive and useless. In my opinion, the campaign for compensation is a much better way to market.

When cryptocurrencies became popular, many people used cryptocurrencies for fraud, which is why Facebook banned cryptocurrency ads!

I do not see any reason to show ads to people randomly. The main problem is the inability of most of the ICO to locate their target audience. That is why most ads will not work.

The binary options I can see in the facebook ads every time I open it. It is good to know that facebook ban them. Because most case it is just another scam act.

WOW and WOW and WOW...
This is a huge addition in cryptocurrency if Facebook will launch their own blockchain or cryptocurrency.
As the community is really bad now, we need a more giant company to set their foot in the community of crypto.
If Facebook will do their own then many will come too.

No longer. They realized that they are losing a significant portion of the profits, so be prepared to give permission for advertising related to cryptography.

Instagram and Twitter have tried to copy this action, but it seems that this is not a good solution. However, I see some cryptic ads even in the messenger.

i wonder what are real reasons behind it. it is a controversial issue about binary options of course, but what can we do about the fact people use any means of gaining the profit including crypto hype?

It is the old information... Facebook, probably, works on its own blockchain, and the management do not against crypto, believe me.

As far as I know, they only stop posting crypto ads and paid advertisements for various dubious ICOs. But I do not think that they decided to ban publications for all users. As before, I consider Facebook one of the most effective and popular ways to promote ICO.

I am sure that this is not a completely correct opinion. Of course, Facebook decided to pay for advertising of various dubious ICOs. But in principle, advertising of various cryptocurrencies there remains permitted. And with Facebook you can quite successfully work with advertising projects, you just need to take into account certain limitations.

They imposed the ban until they were about to release their tokens, as soon as they decided to launch their cryptocurrency, this is what ICO advertising has become more loyal!

As far as I know, Facebook decided to advertise various dubious ICOs. And this is probably a reasonable solution. Because the social network seeks to protect its users from unnecessary risks and financial losses. But most cryptocurrencies can work with Facebook, if they take into account certain rules.

I do not think that the fesbuka will bounty they do not need. On the TV show. Article will write. And that's all. They have an audience of 1,000,000 times more than you can cover.

I do not think there is anything bad about this Facebook is only being secure and a better place many people have tried to run mins camp and they succeed because Facebook does not have any restrictions back then but now things are about to change Facebook is being serious. It's true that many people are going to take this matter in a bad point of you but think it in a normal way just like a human want with not want to watch about money all the time Facebook is just being a bit cleaner so we can enjoy without social like a bit more.
I agree because we also have to want to see the positive side because I realize that it is not only me who uses Facebook, not only cryptocurrency activists who use Facebook, there are still many who use Facebook who may not know about crypto and maybe they feel annoyed with crypto ads so I feel that this policy is a fairer policy because basically Facebook is social media and we already have a place to doing our hobbies and work, yes in this forum and I think that is enough

Based on my research about this topic, Facebook is not promoting cryptocurrency and actually they are banning some of its ads because some of it is about ICO and many ICO project right now are just turning into scam. The ceo want to prevent that to happen to their users so they ban ads of crypto.

is facebook still a thing? they are losing customers month by month, one  scandal brings the next one with it. i have deleted my account like 2 years ago or even longer. facebook will end up in the same way as myspace did. no one cares about it and no one will use this platform anymore in the future :)

This argument is partially true. In their statement, there is no specific mention about Bitcoin or Ether, and the ban was necessitated by the extreme proliferance of various scam ICOs. Many of these ICOs were using social media bounty campaigns to promote their projects and this was noticed by the FB admins. After carefully studying their ban, I am not sure whether it is proper to complain about it. First we need to get the house in order, before we complain about Facebook or any other company.

Yes, now Facebook has tightened certain rules on cryptocurrency advertising on its pages. But, as before, this social advertising remains a great way for effective and affordable advertising. Personally, I myself continue to work with Facebook in this direction, although I had to learn additional rules.

Well at that time was not a good decision and i think there maybe was a conspiration against crypto, but now as i read Facebook will create own crypto and i think they should be more permisive with crypto.
