I would like to recomand for good altcoin, you can go to coinmarketcap from top 10 coins.Still my favourite is Ether because Ether rose more than 4x like from 300$ level to 1250$ level in Nov-Dec17 and then market crashed and most coins dumped over 80%. Naah. No way. Crypto don't roll that way. You don't get interest because you hodl a coin in form of additional coin,  nope. It doesn't work like bank savings that you either get interest for having your money saved with the bank.

In cryptocurrency you either hodl a coin by investing- that I'd, buying the coin. The number / unit  of coins you bought does not increase by additional number except you buy more. However,  the monetary value of the number you have can increase or decrease. For instance, when you buy a unit of a company's share and if you don't buy more , what you keep having with the company is one unit of share . You can benefit with the company when profit is made and it is distributed accordingly to the number of unit you have.

I think there's no profitable altcoin because all coin has risk, specially at this moment because market is not stable. Most people still invest/ trade into bitcoin, eth, ltc but not for new coin, too risky and also has low price and no proof to survive ( new age ). You can invest/ trade with any altcoin you like but should wait until March because we nee to wait until market get stable and have significant price action.

There are still altcoin worthy of our invesment just like eth, waves, and I add eidoo in my portfolio. Eidoo coin which has very profitable even as long term investment. They have solid team with always has an updates on their apps good project and I believe price will become huge in a few months time.

Ripple is good coin but it must not be coin which we should invest in because the price of Ripple is hard to go to moon. I want to share my opinion. In my opinion, the NEO coin has a growth prospect. It is a strong coin, popular and popular.

My choice would be ethereum and neo. They solve the same problems, are both serious coins with large market caps, and I hold both as long term investments. I’m not hedging against my bets by investing in competitors. It’s feasible to me that these two entities could co-exist in the future in a fashion similar to how Apple and Samsung coexist.
