I still have my keys from pre-BCH that have bitcoin that should therefore have BCH on them too, I've just never done the conversion thingy to get that BCH. As I understood it, when BCH forked BTC to create itself any BTC balance at that time was also valid BCH. Anyone know if there is a time limit to do that? Sorry if I'm not being clear enough.

I'm trying to send my BCH to coinbase, but Bitminer site keeps saying my address is not a valid BCH address. I'm simply copying the BCH address from my coinbase account, am I doing something wrong?

My home computer is on the fritz, so for the first time since I started mining in 2014 I don't have any miners plugging away at hash values.  Hope to be back up and running soon. |

Mining solo you get the whole block reward if you solve it, not the same as pool mining at all.

When I started mining the difficulty was just over 30M, now it tops 4T. I enjoy the increase value of the coin, but yea the difficulty makes small-time mining all but non-existent.

The bigger the hashrate the higher the diff, the shares per second are constant depending on number of connections. So with a higher hash rate, and thus a higher diff, does the chance of solving a block go down or remain the same? Sorry, I'm not following how all this works.  And, strictly speaking, I believe a higher hash rate has the same chance to find a block as a lower hash, but it should find one more frequently. But maybe that's the same thing as a better chance... |

One of these days I'll figure out how to cash in my pre-fork coins to BCH, but for now I'm still to nervous to mess around with it. Nice to know that when I do, I'll have a little more to xfer over from Bitminter. Thanks!
