There's a cycle, a pattern, that you can see in the 504 block graph especially.  The peaks come and go, but each peak is a little higher than the last one.  I wonder how long this cycle can keep going?  From what I am hearing about the S9 failures, probably not too long unless someone else brings some killer gear to the market (cough cough Avalon where are you cough cough).

When I first put my coin into the short term account it was earning 9%. 
I thinks it's only 1 or 2% now, but as far as I'm concerned it's free coin and I'm happy to still have it all here earning.

I would like to request that I be removed from the campaign.  Since I've stopped mining due to heat the network difficulty has doubled, and without mining I don't really post here that much.  And since the new campaign doesn't roll over posts week to week I do not make the minimum weekly posts.  If I start posting here again I will re-apply.  Thanks for keeping this campaign going, I've participated since I was a newbie.

Cool, thanks for the replies.  I think I'll go with not broken don't fix it route since it's run so well with the image that it has.  Plus I don't know rpi's that well so if I "broke" something I'm not sure I'd want to try and fix it.

And I dunno how I missed the 1.15G share by JeffZwolle or when he pulled that one out, but that's one of only a handful of >1G shares I know of from these sticks, nice one!

Heh, at this point the only ponies I have in the lotto race is a gekko stick and my Antminer R1.  Both are in fun runs, just going for best shares, but still I play the lotto and these little miners have better odds at solving a block than I do of winning the state lotto.  Both are essentially 0, but still...

Wow this is a tough adjustment looking at the swings of hash up and down.  Still seems like some large farms doing gear upgrades, although I expect that soon we'll see a bump from Avalon's new gear hitting the streets (if we're not already seeing that blip as they test things).  Looks to be an almost level adjustment period, however.  I wonder if we'll ever see the difficulty drop significantly?

I know Avalon recently released new software for the A6.  Should I update my rpi controller with it, or should I keep using the BlockC image?  Did BlockC release a new image based on the update from Avalon?  Their site, http://www.blockc.co/, seems to be down.  Thanks for any info.

Despite the ROI probability of this machine it is still appealing to home hobby miners like myself who do not mine for ROI, but rather for the enjoyment of tinkering.  I'll wait for the used market to develop before I pick one up, or a 3rd party group by, because I told myself I'd never give bitmain my money directly.  But I am attracted to the noise/heat output of this little box.  Of course Avalon has something on the horizon, so I just may end up with one of those instead...
