101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador rolls out 200 Bitcoin ATMs in a bid to speed-up nationwide adoption on: August 26, 2021, 09:47:47 AM
-snip

This is actually a fantastic news. El Salvador is really taking the big leap here with those ATMS and I don't think it is going to stop. The fact that it's a country near America means that there's a high chance that it will have a domino effect on the nearby countries, especially if found out how useful cryptocurrencies is in a countries growing economy. Maybe El Salvador will be one of the key in countries accepting Bitcoin all over the world.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Every altcoins has chance on: August 26, 2021, 05:09:48 AM
Is there any specific website which might help me to identify? Kindly share your thoughts.

There's none. There are only pump and dump groups in telegram and discord that try to lure people like you to subscribe to their signals and hope that you will make a profit too, and I tell you, you wouldn't make a penny unless you are the admin or a VIP of that group. Most pumps you see in the market are fake anyway, you can see that after a huge pump, it will eventually get dump in a few seconds. Most coins like that just wants the volume to go up.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SMARTCONTRACT TREND on: August 26, 2021, 04:22:14 AM
My concern is how long shall new projects keeps launching smart-contract and what happen to them when ETH2.0 finally go live?

The market will decide on what will happen to them. Competition will push other projects to increase their demand and services so that consumers will use them. If they aren't really doing anything extraordinary than the rest, then they will eventually become irrelevant. At the end of the day, a project that can provide the best smart-contract will prevail and those who cannot will die, no matter how new or old the project is.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think financial stability is mandatory to be a gainer in Bitcoin invest? on: August 24, 2021, 03:08:17 PM
Do you think financial stability is mandatory to be a gainer in Bitcoin investments?

I don't think it's mandatory but more like a mentally and emotional support for trading. It's most likely that people who can afford to lose the money are the ones who are making the most rational decisions because they resistant to FOMO, FUD, panics, or any negatives that affects decisions in trading. If you are financially unstable, you are aware of your money that you are going to invest. You'll have doubts and all sorts of fears that will negatively impact your investment.

So it's kind of like this. Being financially stable isn't necessarily mandatory, it it will certainly help.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only good coins survive the dip on: August 24, 2021, 10:32:38 AM
The phrase buy the dip is only a good advice when you apply it properly by buying the very good altcoins whose value is only down because of the bearish market condition. Because it is not all coins that dip that would recover their value.

For example, early this year (when the market was super bullish) almost all the projects released saw good increase in their value. but that doesn't mean it is all of them that were very good projects. After the market dip (correction), most of them never recovered their value. The crypto market is filled with a lot of scrap altcoins and the market way of sheding them off is to dip (correction). So it would be in your best interest to only buy very good coins in the market dip.

This is the reason why you only buy coins in the top 100 if you are looking for a long term holding when the dip comes. This is pretty common sense to people who are in crypto the longest. How I'd wish newbies were to be informed of this so they could prevent their money from losing to all those shitcoins scams around the market.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting bitcoin as payment for my business on: August 24, 2021, 10:15:35 AM
I have been in the forum for some time learning different aspects of bitcoin, now I want to be more practical about bitcoin as a currency. I introduced crypto payments for my business and have been making sales lately. I'm in the clothing industry and I believe in crypto. I have my wallet addresses and barcode printed at the door and pos! For now, I accept Bitcoin, and Etheruem. These are 3 popular coins in my community.
So far customer feedback has been good. Some people are glad to be able to use bitcoin to actually pay for a service, Nigeria is a growing market you see. In addition it has also got my business attraction from customers who are in the crypto space. The challenge though is the issue of transaction fees, 8 out of 10 customers aren't exposed and only use the blockchain wallet. I try to educate them on other wallets with low transaction fees like electrum.
I feel good about this new development. I get to interact with customers about Bitcoin and share ideas

That's actually a bold move for you and you deserve that booming business for trying. Why not introduce other cryptocurrencies that have a pretty low fees? like for example doge, or TRX. That's to give options to people who are reluctant to use cryptocurrencies because of the demanding transaction fee of Bitcoin and Ethereum.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all your assets, Investing in Bitcoin is really a madness or beneficial ? on: August 23, 2021, 02:31:00 AM
I was just reading a report about BTC , A USA family sell all there assets and with that amount they invest in Bitcoin in 2019. as in 2021 BTC was on its peak ! So they get huge profit.

But as a dump then came in crypto market, for every investor it was really a great shock.

What you people say about this topic ?
Should we invest just like them or should start with a less amount ?

as Bitcoin came down in past months . it can be a great loss for those who invest madly !

Must drop your suggestion !

It's because that family is patient and probably knows how the market in cryptocurrency works. In 2019, the marketcap of almost all the coins are insignificant compared to marketcap of the stocks in that year. If you compare them, you could see that cryptocurrencies at that time are much cheaper and could potentially yields a good amount of profit in the future. To be honest, it's not too late to invest right now, as long as you hold long term and can afford to lose the money that you invested in. Look at the marketcaps of the coins today, it's still cheap.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: worst case scenario for cryptocurrency on: August 23, 2021, 02:11:58 AM
This is a simple question but it really bothers me,
the question is, if the world's governments collaborate to create a blockchain network that is the same as Bitcoin and functions like Ethereum, then will cryptocurrency can still survive? because currently I hold 0.5 Bitcoin and 5 Ethereum for the long term, therefore I want to know what will happen if my question comes true, although maybe for the near future it will not happen, but we can take the worst case scenario from now.

This scenario is very unlikely, and if ever some countries tried to collaborate to create a blockchain, there will never be something as the same with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the most unique cryptocurrency out there. Unlike the blockchain that the government is going to create, Bitcoin is a decentralized technology, there's no way all the government would be able to create something close like that because government would want control obviously, and that's not going to work.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Staking Coins a Good Idea? on: August 22, 2021, 11:47:40 AM
Actually, I heard about Staking the coins gives apy. I want to know is really a staking good idea & what will be the staking months like 1 month, six months or 1 year.

There's actually lots of good altcoins in the top 100 that you can use to stake and gives a decent reward, you should start with that. Usually coins go with 10% apy but that's more or less depend on the coin that you are going to invest in so you should research before you stake a certain coin.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Walmart hiring ad raises bitcoin price to $48,000 on: August 22, 2021, 04:37:43 AM
We are talking about one of the largest corporation here and them hiring someone that is cryptocurrency specialist spells something nice about the market. Though I doubt it's the reason why Bitcoin is rising right now. I don't really know the reason but a news like this can't really control the price of Bitcoin significantly. There must be something bigger happening.
111  Economy / Exchanges / Re: All Binance users are now subject to immediate KYC verification on: August 20, 2021, 11:52:13 PM
All Binance users are now subject to immediate KYC verification

those old days where a person could create an account on an exchange and trade smoothly without having to run the risk of delivering documents are gone, now are coming dark times where each person needs to have documents to do KYC and be able to trade and pray that the exchange never sell your document. the era of anonymity is coming to an end, at least on the part of using exchange and it won't surprise me if a few years from now also online casinos related to cryptocurrencies start to demand KYC right after account creation

For now, it's not a really big issue because old customers can still use the full service of Binance (with a limited withdrawal of course), though the question is, how long will this last? There's no doubt that Binance will eventually require even old users to pass their KYC due to government requiring legal documents and some compliance.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft to use Blockchain technology to fight piracy on: August 18, 2021, 01:26:14 AM
It's only a matter of time, if good news like this keep coming the next bear market won't be so devastating like that of 2018/2019 again, I hope this isn't just a news that will fade away in weeks, there are couples of news like this in the past and nothing later happened

Application of Blockchain to microsoft will not gonna give direct impact to the market because they will just use the technology without buying crypto for investment. It depends on the traders on how they will use this kind of news to hype again the market. It will be a different story if they started to venture and invest on blockchain project to implement on there software. Because AFAIK, They are just considering to apply blockchain but nothing is final yet.

I would like to disagree. Having a giant corporation like Microsoft integrating Ethereum in their system would definitely have a huge impact of the market. You know how the market works now right? people will hype that event (assuming Microsoft really use Ethereum). For now, it's not going to be a big deal until it really happen.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WALMART is hiring a cryptocurrency product lead ! on: August 17, 2021, 04:01:32 AM
Maybe they are hiring because they are looking for developers to make a Walmart custodial wallet maybe? or perhaps a bitcoin (or any cryptocurrency) gift cards instead of the usual stuff? This is kind of big since a giant like Walmart is interested in cryptocurrency. I'll definitely look forward to this since this is going to be big in the future.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network issue on: August 17, 2021, 03:43:29 AM
This news is old. Below is a quote from an article refuting the claim of Pi Network being the source of the leak:

Quote
Phien Vo, the moderator of a group discussing the Pi Network, said that it is not possible for Pi Network to leak the data since KYC processing was done by a third-party verification site called Yoti. The moderator explained that while Yoti accepts identity cards from around 62 countries and territories, Vietnam is not included in the list.

From: https://tokenpost.com/Personal-data-leak-affecting-10K-Vietnamese-might-be-linked-to-a-mobile-crypto-mining-app-8483

I don't know if this is really true but it's better if we just stay away from Pi Network. They've been gathering so much data but haven't really done anything to make the users use it. They've been promising for years but nothing really came up. There's bound to happen with all the data they've been mining all this time.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost my tokens trying to transfer USDT from binance to exmarket on: August 17, 2021, 02:33:52 AM
I think it's in there terms that a mistake like that, made by customers, won't be tolerated by the exchange owners. Since your money isn't really that small, I suggest you should go try contacting the owner, at least try to persuade them to help you with that. Also, try to monitor if the funds are moving.

118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China's regulatory measures are becoming stricter on: June 22, 2021, 03:01:29 PM
IIRC, China has banned cryptocurrency multiple times, right? Or it's just a ploy to get more BTC? Lol.

Yes, but not to this extent where they are really creaking down large miners to the point of shutting down. I think China right now is really dedicated to stay away from Bitcoin. On the other hand though, China won't have the majority of the miner anymore. Obviously, different miners will migrate to other country instead of completely shutting down their rig.
119  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Tapos na ba ang bullrun? 2021 on: June 22, 2021, 02:50:50 PM
