Panic buying at panic selling and isa sa pinakadahilan.

202  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What is safest: Binance/exchanges or online software wallets? on: March 29, 2021, 09:45:45 AM
Take note, Binance has been hacked multiple times already and that's already a red flag if you want to treat Binance as your main wallet. I don't know about Samourai but people's vouching for it so it's probably a good wallet. Just don't even consider storing your asset in an exchange, especially when you aren't a trader.

204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to invest in Bitcoin? or in Ethereum? on: March 27, 2021, 01:34:35 PM
Why not both? If you look at the marketcap, Ethereum has 200 Billion dollars in it and Bitcoin has 1 trillion. If you think about it, it might be possible for Ethereum to at least touch 500 billion since Bitcoin proved that it is achievable. Same with Bitcoin, 2 trillion isn't impossible since there's still more room for growth and more rich people waiting to invest.

Although you have to consider that Ethereum doesn't have supply cap so there's going to be more supply in the future which means lower demand and price.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governments are looking to buy Bitcoin, NYDIG CEO confirms on: March 27, 2021, 01:12:04 PM
Another country to solidify Bitcoin adoption. The fact that they are very interested in cryptocurrency means it's going to also encourage more of their citizens to look in to cryptocurrency even further. I'm going to guess that it's going to attract more companies in asia too (Hopefully india too).
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it so hard to make one Good coin? on: March 27, 2021, 12:54:16 PM
What are you saying? there's literally thousands of coins out there that is cheap and fast. If your only criteria for a good coin is fast and cheap, then even some of the coins in the top 100 can be suggested. If you are looking for a stablecoin that is cheap to transfer and fast, why not usd BUSD from Binance?
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A quick thought on how to help/save bitcoin. on: March 27, 2021, 12:38:50 PM
Just a thought, We have all witnessed how just a tweet from a top individual in society can influence the price of bitcoin. We have also seen many people tweet about something so much, it becomes a trend and something popular that almost everyone hears about. This has got me thinking; if we all collectively pick a day or a period of time and all agree to tweet, post and create a trend about bitcoin that will last a while on twitter or any other social media platform, will this help the current price of bitcoin get to a higher ATH?

Isn't this more dangerous? because if there's people who is trying to actually help promote Bitcoin, then there's people who will take advantage of it. Let's just say that those top individuals, like Elon Musk, and most people who support Bitcoin tweet or promote Bitcoin at the same time then I'm sure there's going to be an artificial pump from people who got FOMOed or people who doesn't know Bitcoin. I'm sure there's going to be a massive dumping after that that will become a backlash to spread negative opinion about Bitcoin and negative opinions about those top individuals.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: my gripe with the term "crash" on: March 26, 2021, 02:17:43 PM
-snip
You're not alone, that's for sure. It's just that youtubers needs something interesting to show to the public, even though it's mostly speculations and mumbo jump predictions. Just ignore them. You've been in the crypto world for too long so there's really no point in getting pissed, especially when you know what a "crash" in the crypto world really is (2018 anyone?).
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee & Crypto Scam on: March 26, 2021, 11:59:26 AM
I still don't understand why a guy popular like him did pull this stunt.
He's a popular guy and that's exactly why he pulled that stunt. He had the influence during the 2017 hype which he used in a wrong way by pumping altcoins to unsuspecting investors that got FOMOed. He might be pro-cryptocurrency but he wasted his chance.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with high fees on: March 26, 2021, 10:05:28 AM
I feel safe only if I use stable coins When the money is in btc I Can't sleep.
Anyways so what coins are cheap to use?

You better stick with physical fiat if you think USDT stablecoin is safer. Also, the fact that you can't sleep because you have BTC means you aren't willing to trade your fiat for Bitcoin or even any cryptocurrency yet as you still can't see the value in it. I think you should ponder more why do you need cryptocurrency before you use any.

I dont see point of coins When You pay huge Transaction fees!

It's the price we pay for financial freedom. Well, you can use altcoins for a cheaper transaction though.

211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of people who buy bitcoin. on: March 26, 2021, 03:01:25 AM
Hello. So, I was wondering if bitcoin is something that only the privileged and elite who have extra money leftover can invest in or not. Are normal people working minimum wage buying bitcoin, even if it is a small amount? Thanks.

Don't worry about how much you are investing as long as you can afford to lose it. I'm religiously investing like $0.5 every single day since 2018 whatever the price. Bitcoin became like my personal piggy bank. It's not much if you think about it but do the math and you'll realized how big this can be. It's better if you are earning more than you need.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nicole wants to give up her taxi in exchange for bitcoin on: March 25, 2021, 10:45:52 AM
That's her only income? then that's actually a reckless decision. Tell her that Bitcoin isn't a quick money maker, where she needs to wait for a considerable amount of time to really see her profit in the future. If she's willing to wait a minimum of 10 years, then sure, she can sell her taxi for Bitcoin but she need at least a job to sustain herself and not depend on Bitcoin, especially during this time of pandemic.

213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is a game of capital on: March 25, 2021, 10:26:29 AM
The minimum capital that is required to trade effectively and compound profit is 50$; anything below that means that you are literally wasting your own calls, signals; because without a good capital; the only way to make money is if you are making over 100% profit which is not sustainable. Your profit is someone else trade capital; so i implore us to twice your trading capital.

That depends. To be honest, I first started with a capital of $10 (yes just a measly $10 because I'm poor af). Had a good call here and there while making losses but in the end, made that $10 into $100 and so on. I think it doesn't matter how much capital you have as long as you are willing to invest what you can afford to lose. It's not healthy to invest more if you're psychologically not stable in your financial position.
214  Economy / Economics / Re: What's Next? After Bitcoin Passes The 60K Mark...... on: March 25, 2021, 10:21:43 AM
Bitcoin is mainly a currency but mostly treated as an asset. That's why some merchants are accepting Bitcoin now and there's a huge selection of them because there's actually people willing to pay in BTC. Though there are some who use Bitcoin for their daily life, a huge majority of the population still can't make it feasible due to the fact that the fees aren't as cheap as paying with physical fiat (which is free), but Bitcoin is getting there.
215  Economy / Economics / Re: Miners Hodling Rates Increases. on: March 25, 2021, 04:21:08 AM
It seems like they are taking advantage of this current bullrun. There's just too much pump going on right now that they might have considered to hold Bitcoin to achieve bigger profit. Of course there's going to be dumping anytime soon because they will eventually need to pay for the expenses of maintenance and mining cost.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC to XRP on: March 25, 2021, 02:06:24 AM
Don't compare XRP to Bitcoin because XRP is a centralized coin. In addition to that, the risk is just too great because from the fact that XRP developers holds the majority of the coin and they can dump that anytime they want. That's the reason why they are in a lawsuit right now. Don't exchange your BTC to XRP, it's not worth it. You better look for other altcoins rather than XRP if you want to diversify your portfolio.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins vs coins vs tokens on: March 24, 2021, 04:26:58 AM
Altcoin refers to cryptocurrencies that isn't Bitcoin. Coin refers to cryptocurrencies that have their own chain (ex. monero, dash, etc). Tokens refers to cryptocurrencies (like DeFi) that uses Smart Chains (ex. Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, etc).
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meeting about Bitcoin and inviting people to it on: March 24, 2021, 03:24:48 AM
Consequently if something goes bad with their investments, they will blame me for telling them about bitcoin.

This is what I am afraid about most of the time since there's just too much illiterate regarding financials.

But in my opinion, that mentality of "They will blame me so it's better I just keep it to myself" is kind of bad if you only introduce Bitcoin and didn't give any financial advice. To start, they don't have the right to blame you since it's their decision to buy Bitcoin and they took the risk.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are easy to trade? on: March 24, 2021, 02:32:08 AM
I think you're asking for too much. You want a coin that fluctuates so much but is so predictable to make some profit. It's a trade secret for most traders out there. Though almost every cryptocurrency in the top 50 fluctuates so you can start with that and try to use different exchanges.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Nigeria Central bank confusing its citizens? on: March 23, 2021, 04:26:52 PM
I guess CBN or any bank just doesn't want to get involve with cryptocurrency at all but still let people get cryptocurrencies. I don't think there's anymore meaning to this and they really mean it as they've released a statement regarding this. They just don't condone the use of cryptocurrencies because “Due to the fact that cryptocurrencies are largely speculative, anonymous and untraceable they are increasingly being used for money laundering, terrorism financing and other criminal activities,” which is absurd if you think about it since fiat has been doing these activities for decades.
