104  Other / Meta / Re: Why not force bounties off site? on: February 19, 2023, 05:09:27 PM
Can we please stop this?
How are you getting disturbed by bounty hunters? They are spamming that single board only while genuine shit posters are posting garbage into a discussion and creating a mess for genuine readers. Who is more harmful to the forum? I guess you got the point.
Apart from that some bounty hunters have turned into a great asset to the forum; do you know that? There are a few people who have joined the forum to earn money through bounty & later, with dip diving into the forum, they have been converted into a passionate bitcoiner.
I guess these make enough sense why the Bounty section should not be eliminated or stopped.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've invested around 450 dollars into bitcoin so far and I am 16 years old on: February 19, 2023, 04:55:22 PM
2/3 of my bitcoin is in Stockpile and the other third is with my dad (I'm not sure how he's storing it).
I guess you are referring to a custodial wallet where you don't own the private key of the wallet. It's better if you withdraw the fund to a non-custodial wallet like Electrum; even better if you give a hardware wallet a try. I'm sure you are looking in long term. A hardware wallet for storing your coins (key actually) would be great for you. Remember "Not your keys, not your coins."
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 18, 2023, 05:31:28 PM
Emilio Martinez was too careless and really underestimated Arsenal's game. Finally silenced at the last minute with a goal that would shame Emilio Martinez as team captain.
That goal by Emi was a weird one LOL. It wasn't his fault. Why do you think Emi underestimated Arsenal? Arsenal is flying this season from the beginning of the season. Arsenal had a huge attack tonight & Arsenal's defenders were worst. They conceded the 1st goal because of a stupid mistake from their defender.
107  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blender.io = Sinbad.io | Thoughts? on: February 16, 2023, 05:53:51 PM
If this is true, I am still trying to understand why they had to go through the long road of relaunching as a brand-new mixer yet the old name had already gained recognition?
They started Sinbad quite a long time ago if I'm correct. They were forced to stop their other domains; hence, started their business under the new name.
But I don't get why they used the same wallet to pay expenses. It's easier to get away from the trace.

Blender stole from users. They closed for "maintenance" and never came back.
If Sinbad.io = Blender.io why should it be trusted?
Did they? I can see their forum profile is clear and that's what matters. Feel free to put some proof on your post.
108  Economy / Service Discussion / Blender.io = Sinbad.io | Thoughts? on: February 13, 2023, 06:49:45 PM
Coindesk just published an article where they claimed Blender.io has been relaunched as Sinbad; they directly didn't say sinbad.io though.
Here's the article- https://www.coindesk.com/business/2023/02/13/sanctioned-mixer-blender-re-launched-as-sinbad-elliptic-says/

Coindesk sourced information from elliptic. They claimed they have found coincidences including some linked wallet with Sinbad & Blender.io; why would a mixer link themselves on the first place?
109  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitcoin Logo imperfection on: February 13, 2023, 06:12:53 PM
I just have read an article on cointelegraph which claims bitcoin logo had an imperfection which was noticed 2/3 days back.
Check out this article- https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-logo-imperfection-found-on-original-artwork-after-12-years/amp
The logo created by forum member bitboy has created the logo. But someone noticed an unusual scratch on the logo. Haven't anyone noticed this earlier? I can't believe; I guess the scratch is the with a purpose.
Thoughts?
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Picks4You on: February 13, 2023, 05:24:41 PM
Great day today 4 wins and 1 loss, profit for today  +2,53 units.
You have a great success ratio if I take all these into consideration; 4 wins out of 5 predictions, impressive. Why don't you start as a tipster here? I guess you would be able to get some good amount; worth a try, isn't it?
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who will Win Big Boss Season 16 on: February 12, 2023, 03:52:22 PM
Game Badlega, Kyunki Bigg Boss Khud Khelega!  Cheesy

Is there any platform where people can place bets on the Big Boss season winners? I have never seen such an option in any of the bookies though I haven't tried any local bookie. Maybe I have missed the famous bookie. I guess such an option shouldn't be there as the result can be manipulated.
I don't watch Big Boss season either; can't remember when I watched last time LOL.
112  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PayPal Crypto Holdings Report on: February 11, 2023, 06:04:26 PM
An article on Cointelegraph [2] reports that PayPal keeps its customers' cryptocurrencies through the use of a third-party custodian.
How come such a big institution can't operate its own Cold wallet? Such a bad move. They, in fact, are still in the same boat they used to be in despite the fact that their platform enabled crypto exchange/deposit. I can't imagine what new excuses may come in the coming future from their custodian party.

Risk to see the contract broken by that third-party custodian company is real. You can use Paypal to buy cryptocurrency if you don't want to use other platforms but withdraw your cryptocurrency to your non custodial wallets instantly after your deal on Paypal is done.
Did you mean Paypal allow its user to withdraw their fund? IIRC, their platform wasn't allowing any such on-chain transaction. They didn't allow their users to withdraw the fund in form of cryptocurrency.
113  Other / Meta / Re: Locked Account on: February 10, 2023, 06:10:06 PM
Have you ever publicly posted any of your bitcoin addresses here in the forum? If you did, you can share link where you have posted and sign a message. That will be pretty much easier way to get your account unlocked. Otherwise, I can't see an acceptable way to unlock.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: December 29, 2022, 05:11:48 PM
If anyone is/will be trying to operate a casino without enough investment, they will go bankruptcy for sure. But if they start with enough fund, I'm pretty sure they will be able to survive in bear market too. As we know a few reputed casinos are here for a quite long time and I'm pretty much sure they will be here for the next decade as well.
Well managed & organized casino of course have their strategy to survive such situation. Regardless, why do you concern a lot? I guess no one would put a lot of fund in casino nor in any custody.

116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Max match & odd in Parlay/Multi on: December 29, 2022, 04:53:17 PM
The most recent high odds win were 39x this year when i placed bets on 3 events taking the heavy underdog in table tennis.
Damn! That's awesome odd you got there though it was risky going with the underdog. I wouldn't dare to get such underdogs on my parlay or even if I did, I would barely take risk for odd above 3 LOL. You are lucky.

Should we also post a screenshot for reference? Smiley
No of course. I guess it's a bit of hard request to ask for screenshot as they may be more careful with privacy; lots of gamblers never share their gambling activities publicly I guess. Moreover, there's nothing to prove LOL.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Max match & odd in Parlay/Multi on: December 28, 2022, 05:21:01 PM
Parlay is very much as we all know that anything can happen in a bad day. I have lost a parlay because of losing one single match which had an odd of 1.4 I guess. Well, the maximum odd I won from Parlay was around 7 including 4 soccer matches.
What's your maximum parlay win (don't share the amount). Share only the odds you got and total matches you have included in your bet.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 28, 2022, 04:45:57 PM
Since it's a transfer speculation thread, I'm posting my query here instead of creating a new thread.
There's always rumour on different players all the time when transfer window is near/open. For example, the most hot rumour now I guess is- Both Real Madrid & Liverpool is trying to get Bellinghum/Enzo (any of them). While the rumour for Enzo to Madrid is pretty weak I guess, Bellinghum will be signed by Madrid I guess.
So, is it possible to place bets on such transfer news/rumour? Does any bookie offer this? I haven't checked a lot but have never noticed this anywhere.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Again Satoshi let's talk on: December 28, 2022, 04:28:17 PM
Is it an issue to make Dan Pena more familiar? Or an attempt to make another controversy bringing Putin here LOL & how if Putin = Satoshi will exactly lower the value of Bitcoin? Can you dare to explain, please?

Do you think Dan pena think ethereum Will over take btc ?
Or an attempt to shill for Ethereum? C'mon. That's stupid question here.

Sorry, but who the F* is this Dan pena now? lol.
A business consultant. I have heard his name prior to this but nothing special.
120  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: tradeapi.net - a simple open-source cryptocurrency exchange on: December 27, 2022, 05:07:10 PM
Is your site responsive? I can see a blank page only there & I guess the site isn't ready yet. make sure to complete the site before you launch or if you are looking for reviews before that. I guess you should post it service announcement board as I said in your other thread.
Well, it's great to see such a site including Monero & Bitcoin only which clearly serves the purpose. It's going tobe interesting I guess. Good luck.
