101  Economy / Gambling / Re: 👑 CoinRoyale.com - Original Bitcoin Casino | Trusted Since 2013 ✔️ on: February 26, 2024, 02:51:54 PM
Manchester City will be the favorite team while Manchester United is not the favorite team to win the Manchester derby. The odds for Manchester City will be smaller than the odds for Manchester United.

If it's like this, the draw option will be the option to bet because it is to maintain the opportunity if Manchester City fails to win.
Manchester United lost against Fulham in front of their own fans (Old Trafford) and Manchester City won against Bournemouth with a narrow score at the Vitality Stadium as an away match.

A comparison of the results of the two shows that Manchester City's chances of winning are greater. In terms of performance this season, Manchester United cannot be superior.
Your thinking is very logic and is the same as mine but I want to express one more thinking. Manchester City already got a good win from a first leg in Champions League against Copenhagen so they will not mind too much about the second leg.

This will give them more time to think of a Manchester derby match against Manchester United and this will reduce chance for Manchester United in that match. Even a draw looks to be out of reach for Manchester United if Manchester City won't suddenly underperform.

The odds will be favorite on Manchester City as a winner and if any person is a fan of Manchester United, if he wants to bet, bet a draw is best option.

Good luck participants!
This Manchester Derby match will be very exciting because both Manchester teams need to win it.

Manchester City are still in a tight competition with Liverpool and Arsenal. They have good results recently but will start their hard matches in coming weeks, starting with Manchester United. These tough matches will decide Manchester City continue to race with Liverpool and Arsenal or will be left behind.

Manchester United with a shock defeat by Fullham, temporarily have 8 points less than Aston Villa at the fourth position and they are even under Tottenham Hotspur. They will need to beat Manchester City to maintain their small chance and hope to beat both Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur to join top four.
103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CORRECT AND NOT ATTACK on: February 22, 2024, 10:58:53 AM
This is true. Even though the intention is to correct someone because of what they did is wrong or a mistake but still they feel that they are attacked when the truth is that the person who give the correction is not attacking at all but to help. What I can say about them is that if they don't like being attacked which is not the intention of the person who is doing it then they shouldn't be in this forum and should find another forum.
It depends on words and tone used to express education effort. Some people can use harsh words that make newbies feel uncomfortable and it's not good, not friendly. However newbies must admit what they did wrong, see positive things from contributions of other members and grow up thicker skin. Some posters can have great skills and use soft words that can be more favorite by newbies.

If their intention is good, newbies must see it and move on, improve themselves.

Bitcoin past cycle has proven that it can be predicted and as for those who are good at chart reading we are already seeing history repeating itself once again
You rely on history by this strategy for price prediction so let's know that history can be changed. New market cycles can be similar like past cycles but can be very different and only time can tell us about that.

Understanding about history and make our plans for entries, exits with it is good but with a very big and important condition, we must not use all money to bet on that plan. I mean we must have money for our real life that is important and vital when history is broken and our prediction turns to be incorrect.

If we don't have plan B, don't have an ace under sleeves, we will have big problems when things are opposite to what we expect.

106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bull Charging or Just Warming Up Post-Halving? on: February 16, 2024, 10:48:48 AM
I think it is warming up for Halving.  Or this could even be a temporary rise caused by the ETF approval.
Bitcoin market was warmed up and rose up a lot with news about potential approval for Bitcoin Spot ETF applications. After approvals, price was corrected and took about three weeks to soar again. It soars again because people see massive new capital from Bitcoin Spot ETFs and they speculate price will rise more.

Quote
My current take is this.  Bitcoin will not surpass All Time High before Halving.  I do expect some sort of repetition of what happened every Halving in the past.  Every body is expecting history to repeat so they will take action based on that and influence the repeat to happen again.
I bet so too.

Because whales must clean up the market before a big bull run. If price simply rises more and more, non stop, it will be more expensive for whales to accumulate Bitcoin. It also results in more selling pressure that is harmful for their manipulation and profit taking price area and distribution phase.

I bet on a big correction before a halving but I believe in a bright future for Bitcoin, not only in this bull run but also more years in future.

Here is the guide how to use it https://coinroyale.com/telegram-bot
With the bot, CoinRoyale users can claim faucet with 1 µBTC that can be used for wagering with sports. I don't see information about waiting time between two faucet claims.

Indeed. They became well known here because of their different marketing strategies (sig campaign, contests, games etc.) the reason why they became popular. Though they already lessen their promotions as well as their sig participants.
Many constructive factors for their success.

They must build up good products (games) and partner with well-known game providers.
They must have good marketing with things you mentioned (signature campaigns, bonus, promotion, contests, etc.) and loyalty programs to build up stronger connections between their business and users.
They must be transparent, fair in processing users' withdrawal requests include money from won bets.

Together, those factors help Roobet to build up a good business, good reputation and keep it sustainably running with time.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Relationship Between Cryptocurrency and Traditional Banking on: February 15, 2024, 12:35:13 PM
They're integrating crypto in their system because it doesn't pose a threat to their very existence. Do you think banks and governments would embrace the revolution if it was truly-decentralized? I think not. While BTC is decentralized, it has a set of issues (scaling, volatility, etc) which prevents it from replacing Fiat currencies altogether. It will never become a threat to banks' very existence.
Because they know that fact and we as senior Bitcoin investors, users know about that fact too. Banks integrate crypto into their payment system because they know cryptocurrencies won't replace and kill fiat currencies. They know that by deploying integration, their banks will get more money flow, more income and have better balance sheets.

Cryptocurrencies and banks will interact with each other, co-exist and benefit each other.

Quote
At least, people will have a choice between centralized banking and decentralized finance. As long as we're able to get true financial freedom and privacy, nothing else matters. Who cares about banks, anyways? Grin
I like to have choices and honestly I still use bank transfers. Not all of my fund transfers is processed through cryptocurrencies.

Only newbies think that cryptocurrencies will completely replace and kill fiat currencies, banks some day in future.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here's why BCH/BSV lovers constantly attack BTC... on: February 15, 2024, 09:03:27 AM
Unfortunately, I do not see these people anymore. I don't remember if I have seen any BSV or BCH supporters in this forum except a recently banned troll after posting in Leo's farewell thread. I guess that was the happiest moment for a lot of Bitcoiners. No matter what they say, they know that they are spreading lies. They only wake up when the market is positive. I haven't seen any of them in the last year.
If I am a newbie, don't understand about Bitcoin, I can be affected by those shit coin supporters but if I have experience and understand about Bitcoin, I won't be affected by those supporters and their words.

Because I know what is Bitcoin, what are shit coins. I even don't waste my time to read any article, interview, post from those people because I can guess what they say and I am fully aware that they spread misleading information only.

Quote
Actually, the percentage is bigger than this. If we check coinmarketcap, there are 2.2M+ cryptocurrencies at this moment. How many coins do you know? I don't think there are more than 200K Crypto's. The rest 2 million crypto's are dead.
I agree with you on the number. They updated that article recent weeks and we must compare information from different resources and even can do our homework from raw data.

112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here's why BCH/BSV lovers constantly attack BTC... on: February 15, 2024, 02:48:20 AM
It is and it's not gonna change it  Grin maybe there are a bunch of altcoins with their capability and so on but bitcoin would be a bitcoin, not an altcoin gonna dethrone it. The world knows crypto because the Bitcoin and it always become like that.

BCH is a good altcoin back then and I hear they make another hard fork or split team while BSV is just too centralized I just wonder why people buy this coin.
There are thousands of altcoins and hundreds of Bitcoin forks but they are not comparable in security and developments with Bitcoin.

How many Bitcoin forks are there?
Dead Coins: Over 50% of Cryptocurrencies Have Failed.

I knew Bitcoin Cash used to make a lot of noise and in 2017, its price even was like half of Bitcoin price but I never consider it as a good altcoin.

If I want to use altcoin blockchains for transactions and don't want to touch smart contract blockchains, I would like to choose Litecoin or Dogecoin for my on chain transactions. I don't use Bitcoin Cash blockchain.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Limitations or scalability issues with the Bitcoin network on: February 11, 2024, 06:21:22 AM
LN payments are the same as bitcoin unconfirmed transactions. (unsettled and can be replaced/lost/tricked, dropped)
Payments through Lightning Network is off-chain but before being able to use off-chain payment channel, people will have to make an on-chain transaction to open a Lightning Network channel.

It is a big disadvantage for people will small bitcoin amount and are not afford to use on-chain transactions when fee rate is high and expensive.

If they don't want to pay expensive on-chain transaction fee, just to open a Lightning Network channel, they will have to store their bitcoins on centralized platforms that support Lightning Network. However, this practice is risky and not recommendable.

Reminder: do not keep your money in online accounts

115  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: February 07, 2024, 07:53:24 AM
No, the FUN token are still trading on exchanges, but the price dropped about 2% in the last 7 days and almost 4% in the last month.
With trading volume last 24 hours is about $1.1M, it's good volume for the FUN token. Price is very attractive in my opinion after I zoomed out the chart. I saw price corrected about 40% or 50% from its latest peak and it potentially gives investors opportunity to x2 their capital if the token simply reclaims its latest peak. Look farther, by zooming out, I saw another better possibility to have x10 with the token because the highest price in 2021 is about 10 times from today price.

116  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Understanding privacy and security on: February 02, 2024, 12:53:33 PM
Privacy is a something you must understand very well before going into decentralized investment because it has to do with online things which it can make you stay longer in your cryptocurrency investment when you make your details safe and secure, but if you don't make them safe and secure, there is no way you can stay long in that investment.
Privacy exists in our life, in online and offline and it is everywhere, not only in investment or decentralized investment. Your post shows that you misunderstood about privacy.

You also confused about security and privacy that are different.

Quote
Many people has exposed their details on some links they click on social media some years ago that make some strange things to begin to happen to their money because, they didn't observe very well before clicking that particular links that are traps of the scammers to have their way to some people privacy.
It depends on what they interacted in the past and what details they leaked to phishing sites. If it is a phishing site, when they log in their account on it, I am quite sure that their money on a real platform will be drained out by scammers very quickly. They will not wait like some years to steal money from victims.
117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safe means please and evil IP on: February 01, 2024, 10:41:47 AM
So I finally succeeded in creating an account that allows me to post after 2 attempts as, I feel unsuccessful with the registration as I saw something like an evil IP or something of that nature, coupled with other write ups in red ink captions.
It means you created two accounts. The first one was restricted to post by evil IP points. The second one is this one. Is it what you do?

Quote
Does that mean I did something wrong on my previous attempts?
What did I do please and how do I avoid that?
Evil IP can be false positive too and when you is banned with evil IP, it does not mean you did something wrong by yourself. It can be other people who create accounts from that same IP address, but not you.

118  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: 3 Individuals Charged for 1.89 B Crypto scams on: February 01, 2024, 10:32:02 AM
From what I see in the article it is a cloud mining scheme that offered high returns, but did not really exist. A classic ponzi.
I see it is a very classic Ponzi scam.

Quote
If a not well known scheme like these can scam $1.89B one understands why there are so many scam schemes in the cryptocurrency world.

Apart from that, in the news it does not say if they have returned part of the money to get those reduced sentences or are those imposed by the legislation for that type of crime, which I like.
I dislike how this was written.

Scammers can use Ponzi scheme to scam naive people and they can use many tools which can be attached to their Ponzi projects, to scam. Cryptocurrencies are tools for those scammers but Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are not scam by itself.

Saying like cryptocurrency scam is like anti-cryptocurreny. They must write like "Cryptocurrency is used to scam in a Ponzi HyperFund". Same for Bitcoin like "Bitcoin is used for scam in a Ponzi project."
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Relationship Between Cryptocurrency and Traditional Banking on: January 31, 2024, 02:10:18 AM
Banks are not threatened by crypto payments because so few people actually pay with crypto and the total transaction volume is just a tiny drop compared to global fiat payments. But the competition in the field of investment is more likely to happen - if people would buy Bitcoin instead of opening bank deposits, that could force banks to act. The first thing banks could easily do is to disconnect all crypto exchanges from their system, and that would kill a large share of crypto market liquidity. If that would be not enough, they could start lobbying the government to impose more restrictions on crypto activities. But so far we have seen nothing like that happening on a large scale.
There are competitions among cryptocurrencies and traditional banks, fiat currencies but they need each other.

Like Bitcoin need altcoins to have a cryptocurrency market. Altcoins need Bitcoin as a King, a leader of this market and if Bitcoin, the only decentralized cryptocurrency can be killed by government, altcoins will be in brink of massacre and massive deaths.

People use bank transfers, credit cards, debit cards to purchase cryptocurrencies and it helps traditional banks to have more income. Traditional banks with acceptance on cryptocurrencies, will help cryptocurrencies to reach to more users.
120  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: 3 Individuals Charged for 1.89 B Crypto scams on: January 31, 2024, 02:05:07 AM
Part of the report.

Quote
Sam Lee, 35, an Australian citizen residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was charged in an indictment unsealed today for allegedly co-founding HyperFund, also known as HyperTech, HyperCapital, HyperVerse, and HyperNation. Rodney Burton, 54, of Miami, and Brenda Chunga, 43, of Severna Park, Maryland, were promotors of HyperFund.

I did not know any of HyperFund, HyperTech, HyperCapital, HyperVerse, HyperNation. I have never read about them on cryptocurrency websites like Cointelegraph, Coindesk, BitcoinMagazine and the likes. I have never read about them in Bitcointalk discussions before today.

Chance for members in Bitcointalk are victims of those scams exist but not too big. If they were scammed and were actively in Bitcointalk, likely they already shared those scams here for warning and discussions.
