101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is the Right time to get in! on: April 07, 2018, 08:43:25 AM
For all the newbies on crypto like me out there, this is the best time to get in in the crypto world. Why? Because the prices of coins now are so cheap. Last year on last week of December Bitcoin price went on its ATH which was like $20k+/BTC and almost all coins also went on their ATH before crashing. Bitcoin is still struggling to get back up to $20k+ level so invest now and hold your coins. Just buy coins that have high potential and has good technology and you won't regret it.  Grin

Too bad I entered in crypto world when it was at it's peak in 1st week of January I think. So don't be like me buy coins now while the coins are still cheap.
Well if you do have the capital at the moment now is really the right time to buy since prices are low. Do your research and look for the appropriate and promising coins to invest in.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic sell? on: April 07, 2018, 08:36:29 AM
Due to unstable price of market, Is it now the best time to sell all the holdings of altcoin and revert it back to tether for safe mode? Will the price of each altcoin keeps going down? Please can anyone reach me on this.
People results to panic selling because they want to cut their losses but i think that this is a very wrong move because they will only cause for the prices to further go down. The best thing they can do is to hold and wait for prices to bounce back.

104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to Buy with Bitcoin? on: March 22, 2018, 04:11:02 AM
Reading a lot of New Year Resolutions, and I can understand many of you here have some resolutions that involve crypto and bitcoin. Maybe you want to earn a bitcoin, multiply your  bitcoins or become a crypto millionaire.

So here is one similar question that does not necessarily has to be achieved in this year.

What are the things you want to buy with bitcoin?
Whether its a House, your favorite car, a yacht, a jet or a ticket to Mars. Whatever you dream, list the things you want to buy with your bitcoins (crypto).

I would love to buy myself my own tank so that i could blast the hell out of my neighbor. I cant withstand him on annoying me.
105  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jesus Christ is comming back here on: March 21, 2018, 04:17:26 AM
Repeant and surrender yourself to Jesus Christ because He is comming back here on Earth to group us into 2 which the one's will join Him and the other one are the one who does belong. Sinners stop surrender yourself evil is already with in you confess and repeant.

Read the Bible and you see and realized everything is happening and maybe repeated.

He will divide us into 2 but "the one"s who will join Him and the one who does belong" is the same. I suggest you restate your post so as not to draw confusion. Anyways, i personally believe in Jesus and Him coming back but nobody really knows when.
106  Economy / Speculation / Re: If you knew Bitcoin would never change in value, would you buy it? on: March 20, 2018, 03:31:09 AM
If it were guaranteed that the price of bitcoin would stay the same as it is today, would you still buy it?  My guess is, the answer is no. But if its value lies in being a currency, price stability is essential. And if your answer is no, how is it then not just a Ponzi scheme? In other words, everyone is buying it on the hope of someone paying more for it in the future, not to use it as a currency.
We all are here for the profit so my answer is no. Lots of investors put their money on it because of profit and besides the popularity of bitcoin and its acceptance would not be this great if its prices did not increase.
107  Other / Politics & Society / Re: how do i reduce the juvenile delinquency rate? on: March 19, 2018, 04:22:27 AM
Roll Eyes
in my city the juvenile delinquency rate is becoming, and this worries parents, what should parents do to their children to reduce the level of mischief

for those who become parents I need your opinion
In our country majority of these juvenile delinquents came from a poor family. Minors are being used by syndicates for crimes because they are exploiting them because minors are not sent to jail if they are caught but are turned to social welfare offices. Parents should be held liable for the crimes their children commits. Police officers are not always there to protect us therefore we ordinary citizens should be vigilant about these crimes and report to the authorities when we see one.
108  Other / Off-topic / Re: How wars can affect Bitcoin? on: March 17, 2018, 04:21:28 AM
While commenting on one of threads over here. A really interesting thought popped into my mind. What will happen when there will be coming a huge war?
Even a World War III? Will Bitcoin pump or dump? What role will Bitcoin play? We all know the economy and the currencies are very vulnerable in wars.
I would like to hear some interesting thoughts, even maybe some full detailed articles? Anything would be very welcomed.
Super powers from around the world have armed themselves with nuclear weapons and if WWIII would broke up, nuclear holocaust will occur and human extinction is inevitable. If you do survive the initial blast you have to face radiation yet again for a very long period of time and bitcoin would be the last thing that would enter your mind.
109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle tough times in cryptocurrency? on: March 16, 2018, 03:52:32 AM
We are indeed the tough times of trading or investment in cryptocurrency. After the ATH of Bitcoin last year, we are now at the stalemate at 10K USD mark for almost 2 weeks and no sign of going up. I was thinking to hold for as long as I can since I believe in crypto.

If you’re at the losing position what is the best thing to do?

Just be calm and be patient to avoid unnecessary move that you will regret later on. Prices fluctuates from time to time but who knows a month or two prices will go up and would surpass the previous high from late last year.
110  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you kill your own children if God commanded you to? on: March 14, 2018, 04:27:32 AM
Would you kill your own children if God commanded you to?
A perfectly valid legit question.

Please no attempts to derail the thread with nonsense like "God would never say that" or "God would never change the rules with murder" etc....

I would not kill my child if God orders me to kill my child and in no circumstances would i do it. If God will punish me and condemn me to hell for eternity for disobedience then so be it.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in support of paying your taxes in Bitcoin? on: March 13, 2018, 03:54:41 AM
Recently, Georgia is trying to pass a bill allowing payment of taxes in Bitcoin.

Bill GA-SB464 ?requires the state revenue commissioner to accept cryptocurrencies for payment of taxes and license fees.?
This allows for people in Georgia to pay their taxes and license fees in cryptocurrencies.

For more info on Georgia's stance, see https://stopthefud.wordpress.com/2018/02/24/georgia-bitcoin-taxes/

But do you think paying your taxes in Bitcoin will be a good thing for Bitcoin? Or is it another way the government is trying to take our Bitcoin?
It is a very good news if governments do accept bitcoin to pay our taxes and it will be a start for bitcoin to go mainstream but i would not pay my taxes with bitcoin because it would be a way for government to slowly chip away my holdings.
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is better Trade or Invest? on: March 09, 2018, 04:10:04 AM
Hi guys , Some of my friends are give me some ideas about Trading and Investing.

But i've some doubt which is better in that. What is the advantage and disadvantage? Because I want to focus on one at a time for generating source of income coz my funds are limited.

Can you give some of your useful ideas? I'm a begginer. I need some help. Thank you!
Since you have a limited funds then i think it is better if you do trading and since you are a new to it i also suggest to first do a lot of research about trading before you do involve yourself into it.
113  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin required to pay taxes? on: March 08, 2018, 04:36:06 AM
Here in the Philippines, it is not yet implemented that Bitcoin required taxes. In my research about that I read this information which verify that it is not yet required in the Philippines: Here is it 'The Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has not yet issued clear guidelines on the tax treatment of bitcoin transactions. However, it is clearly written in the internal revenue laws that any type of income earned by a Filipino citizen shall be taxed unless expressly exempted."
I am also from the Philippines and whether we like it or not, we are indirectly paying taxes from our income in bitcoin. Basically, all commodities are taxable and the manufacturers of these commodities passes these taxes to us, the consumers.
114  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do u believe that Family is the foundation of a strong community? on: March 05, 2018, 03:46:14 AM
Do u believe that the Family is the foundation of a strong community?

And that's compose of a Father, Mother & Child/children.
Depends on the upbringing of the family. If the family grew up to be God fearing, disciplined and obedient then they can become a good foundation to the community but if it otherwise then they can only become a problem in a community.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is an asset or currency. on: March 01, 2018, 04:03:03 AM
I hear from many sources that btc is used for trading much more than it is for goods and services; doesn't that make it an asset ??
and is that necessarily a bad thing ?? and what can we do about it as a community ??
I think that bitcoin is both an asset and a currency. Bitcoin is something useful and has a value, therefore it can be considered as an asset. It can also be a currency because we can use it to buy or pay for some goods and services to those who accept bitcoin as a means of payment.
116  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Infatuation vs Love on: February 27, 2018, 03:32:53 AM
I am falling in love with someone! But i don't know is it INFATUATION or LOVE ! how can i identify it ? can anyone help me ?
Maybe you are only attracted to the person or you just admire him/her. Infatuation is only short lived but if the feeling is growing deeper by the day, then maybe it is love that you feel.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you thinking about the future? on: February 24, 2018, 04:19:32 AM
Have you ever thought about buying bitcoin for your children as a future investment?
It is all the same buying bitcoin for your children and investing it for a long period of time. All your assets and belongings will be inherited by your children when you die.
118  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If marriages can expire, will you still renew? on: February 23, 2018, 03:16:17 AM
I have come across this Facebook posting about marriage. Many have declined the offer but some, including wives who are victims of domestic violence ought to never renew given the circumstance. For me, i will still renew.. marriage comes with a lot of changes and adjusting to do, clashes are bound to happen but take note that marriage is sacred as well as vows. Prayers do make a lot of difference in Changing your partners behavior.
Interesting idea really. I say marriage contract should span for at least ten years. I say more or less 70% would not renew their contracts for personal reasons. For me if only we can live till eternity then i would always renew my marriage contract and i need not elaborate.
119  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should a person with terminal illness be able to end their own life ? on: February 22, 2018, 03:13:06 AM
Okay *gasps*

For me this is kinda an important topic. And a life question for a long time.
I am not and do not concider myself pessimistic, but I have always wondered what would I do if something happened
I have seen people struggle, and it's just an endless struggle that everyone takes part in...Is it easier for an ill person or his family ?

It's not easy for anyone

Knowing you will most certanly die actually destroys lives around you, everyone is expecting a bad thing...so even that makes the whole thing a lot harder.

Here is my story...something I experienced thankefully not on my skin. I know how my friend had a very big struggle when he found out his mom had cancer. It was just a question, when ? But still there is that hope in people, they've spent fortune on treatment, struggling from day to day hoping something will get better, and that alone makes it so hard for them in the end. Because hope is the thing that destroys them the most if it doesn't turn the way they thought it would. Now she is gone, Rest in peace, and her family is devastated, but they keep on trying their best.

But you know, somethimes they wish she would only die sooner, easier and suffer less.

Thinking about all of this made me realize, I don't want my family to suffer, I think you should have control of your life in that situation. And if the state you are in is really hard and it isn't making it for your family any easier, why you all have to suffer ?

I don't know, I am still thinking about this and just can't come to a conclusion...what do you guys thing ?

Sorry for the long post I think I am just repeating myself but I'm just writing what I am thinking at the exact moment  Smiley

Terminal illness like cancer can cost a lot of fortune. The thing is, modern medicine will not prolong life, it will also extend the suffering not just of the patient but to the family as well. If all hope is gone and resources are drained then i would readily agree to mercy killing.
120  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Our Children Nowadays on: February 21, 2018, 03:55:27 AM
It is amazing how our children nowadays quickly learn how to use ipods, phones and computers.. But reading their textbooks they have many excuses, its hard for them to understand the topic and how to answer the question even the simple mathematical problems.. Any advice for a parent like me to handle this kind of situation?...
We can almost find everything on the internet even all the subject matter that our school has to offer. When properly used, it can be useful for students because they can do their researches at the convenience of their home. Parents are responsible on how their kids will use this technologies to their advantage.
