101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop Bitcoin's negative publicity?-Rebranding. on: December 01, 2018, 06:46:54 PM
So I am subscribed to quite a few crypto news and general news websites; and one thing that frustrates me to no end is to see such negative publicity of this currency!
And I know most of the people are of the opinion that bitcoin doesn't really need publicity! But I think a little rebranding is very much needed to put bitcoin in the good light.Try to focus on the good things of it, its qualities, maybe it will help it to stabilize or something?
Whats your say on this?

The negative publicity is physiological during a dump, as much as it is the positive advertising during the bullrun .. contributes to feed the FOMO in both senses .. we can define it as "natural psychological impact" due to the human psyche.
102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Dumping, What can we do ? on: December 01, 2018, 06:38:33 PM
It is not to be excluded that the fund has not been reached yet .. I believe, however, that if it were to dump again it will be the last dump and then reverses the trend
103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best charting software for cryptocurrencies? on: November 30, 2018, 09:28:36 PM
I trade on Poloniex, but I find their charts to be lacking. There are limited indicators and not many time frames to choose from(not even 3m or 1yr wtf?).  Any suggestions for betting charting software?

Thanks!

The best I know is tradingview, even if there are not all the coins, but if your objective is the study of the graphs is excellent, it is equipped with all the analysis tools, from the simplest to the most advanced

104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term vs. Long term investments on: November 30, 2018, 09:21:52 PM
According to me, both short term investment and long-term investment is good. But I honestly recommend you don't do short term trade if you are a new trader. Cause its very very risky.

I agree! hybrid diversification strategy: making long-term investments on projects that we believe are more robust, and medium-short on projects that have interesting graphs (of pure speculation)
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term vs. Long term investments on: November 29, 2018, 08:08:56 PM
Which do you prefer?

Hello Everyone, want to ask few questions here.

Short term or Long term investment?
Which is more profitable to you?
What coins  do think that is good for long term now?

Feel free to comment your ideas and opinions.

Depends on the type of investment and strategy:  short-medium term mostly investments if you follow the charts and you are interested to trading, in the long term if you base yourself only on fundamentals.
106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without losses? on: November 29, 2018, 07:09:19 PM
Trading without losses is impossible. Losses must always be taken into account, the important thing is that gain - losses> 0
My advice if you are inexperienced is:
1) starts to trading whit btc
2) study the fundamentals of the most important crypts of this market
3) diversify your portfolio to reduce risk, remembering that btc is (so far) the puppeteer
107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive on: November 29, 2018, 06:59:13 PM
Hey guys!

Just interested if you still earn any money? The situation is so horrible that it's interesting to me if someone still feels good.
Maybe you mine or you continue to invest in something.

On the whole, how to survive now? Hold, trade, sell, invest, mine?

in order to survive and optimize profits, it is also necessary to speculate on the bear market, not just on what the bullrun offers...
trend follower strategy
108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin still have a chance to goes 15k by the end of 2018,Really? on: November 27, 2018, 11:23:28 PM
Mr. Tom Lee, the Crypto currency expert who has had accurate predictions about Bitcoin and Altcoin, said that Bitcoin still has the potential to rise by the end of this year, which is around 15k USD, is that true because I haven't seen a good improvement in crypto currency

the market is certainly more mature than before, consequently the mad volatility is shrinking, I don't think that btc can do x3 by the end of 2018 .. it needs more time for a healthy recovery
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BULL RUN! BULL RUN! BULL RUN! on: November 27, 2018, 06:16:07 PM
So it happens that every where in the crypto universe every single person is expecting a bull run Q4 of every year as if it's a norm now.

Well for me am happy the bull run isn't happening this year so that many can cool off and know this is not a yearly get rich quick business and people have to understand what investment are and invest wisely

I like the fact that the bull run shouldn't be on any specific date, day, or month and can happen randomly at any time to stop the impression of manipulation in crypto.

For me am happy crypto is responding to the market movement in connection with every other stock market.

What is your own thoughts?

The bull market starts when the hope of a bull run fades, at that moment the whales make a lot of money and begins the FOMO !!!
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Perspective about HODL. on: November 26, 2018, 06:33:19 PM
I think the retention of coins for several years (3-5) has a prospect, but not for a year or two)
Depends from the coins. And buying BTC in 2015, and waiting until the 2017 rally was an excellent example, that 2 years may be enough.

I agree, it depends from the coins ... many will no longer exist in a few months / year. The selection of valid projects is essential now

112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: November 25, 2018, 10:31:36 PM

So regardless of the reason of this last dip. I noticed 2 of the top 10 coins ( XRP and XLM) sort of survived the dip and performed well against BTC which usually is not the case comparing this dip to  previews dips . take 11th oct 2018 for example.

in USD rate in the last 7 days :

BTC dropped : 13.48%
XRP dropped : 6.7 %
XLM dropped : 9.2%

also XRP surpassed ETH "not for the first time" but this time i think it will last.

I think that these 2 coins will remain more stable than bitcoin for a long time.

seems like centralization or semi-centralization in crypto is going to take over one way or the other. I hope not but we shall see soon.

tell me what you guys think?

Btc has always driven the entire market and in my opinion will continue to do so until is prevalent, in terms of volume, the Altcoin-Bitcoin exchange or until the bitcoin will be the main protagonist of the crypto world. The non-dependence to bitcoins has always been only temporary, for now
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: November 25, 2018, 09:46:47 PM
Prices have been on a constant decline ever since this year began. There's been FUD all over the place, and governments have been cracking down on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In addition, there have been several hacks which have also contributed to the decline in the value of the whole cryptocurrency market. As such, many people have lost their faith in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, as they've lost a lot of money.

Despite this, it seems that most holders would not give up on Bitcoin no matter what. But, if Bitcoin keeps declining in value until it becomes worthless, then long-time holders (like me) would become disillusioned. For those who want to protect their investment, there's the option to sell Bitcoin into USD or exchange it towards a stablecoin like Tether. However, even Tether has lost its peg (although in some occasions it heads back to $1) sometime this year, which means that not even stablecoins can be trusted.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Will it be Game Over for Bitcoin? Or will everything go back to normal soon? Huh

as far as the stablecoins are in evolving just in this period, there will soon be no more only "Theter" to protect (theirs investments)from the volatility of cryptocurrencies.. currently an alternative to theter is Geminidollar [GUSD], based on more reliable guarantees than those offered by Theter Limited, in fact it is a stablecoin regulated by NYSDFS
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Currencies today ! on: November 25, 2018, 01:13:29 PM
After the break of the $ 5800 support a very important dump was expected. Now, I believe that to contribute to the dump is the sustainability of many asisc machines, probably someone quits the mining market by selling btc. Other factors? the fud, the generalized panicsell.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Black Friday on: November 25, 2018, 01:02:15 PM
That's the black Friday,
this is why The dump is began,  1000$ drop. I hopeful about rising Bitcoin price.

what you Thinking about it??

blackfriday was also for the crypto world, literally.. Undecided I hope the bottom of the glass is near. 3000$ and then to the moon?
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: buy NEO coins now? on: November 24, 2018, 06:47:27 PM
Hi all

I am here asking for your opinion about the Neo Coins whose prices are down now until now reaching 15 usd / coin. is this the right time to buy Neo Coin or I have to wait until the price drops back.

please share your opinion Smiley

for those of you who have shared your opinion, thank you

Currently NEO is at the level of the relative minimum (200k sat) of 6 dec 2017 from which the bullrun has started .. to enter now you need at least technical confirmations of recovey and eventually protect himself with stoploss. Imho after this minimum the road opens toward to zone 80k sat
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is time to invest now ? after the falling on: November 24, 2018, 06:28:17 PM
Now days bitcoin, eth and all the altcoin price falling to a lower price, others fear I greedy, mabe it's time to invest now ?

as always, the best time to invest is in times of crisis, of distrust and with greater risks. However after a collapse there is always a recovery, the wisest choice is perhaps to wait the right confirmations of the market before enter.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell? on: November 24, 2018, 06:19:18 PM
What is your strategy in this bloody market that we're facing today? Are you still willing to hold your cryptos or would sell it already?

As for the altcoin in heavy loss imho a valid strategy could be: sell them to buy other more important altcoin (high capitalization, high liquidity and with the best possible setup).
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: November 23, 2018, 09:59:47 PM
Personally, I have never really liked the project, tidex has never been an excellent exchange, I do not like the wave team. After two years, they have collected in ICO over 30K btc and they are at 25K of capitalization, there must be a reason. It is only my personal opinion.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your strategy for hodling or selling? on: November 23, 2018, 09:53:07 PM
Buy Low and when it comes good time or bullish i sold all my coin , make good profit and look for some new project to invest!  now it is time to hold
