101  Economy / Economics / Re: Vietnam Becomes Latest Country to Turn to Crypto on: July 05, 2021, 08:51:07 PM
I've invested lately on Vietnam based blockchain project and I saw on there old announcement that some Vietnamese government official is directly involve on the project. They launched many conferences too in there country with a strong support from there government. Vietnam right now are starting to adapt cryptocurrency technology and its a very good news.
So you think Vietnamese government officials are directly involved in projects, not sure which project you are talking about and why do you think that government officials are involved because this development happened recently and you are talking about old announcement.
It looks promising when you hear news like these when government are taking the market seriously and they wanted to do a pilot study on how to implement them successfully.
102  Economy / Speculation / Re: 22 july, BTC 20k$ or 70k$? on: July 05, 2021, 07:58:09 PM
~
But 20k and 70k are huge from the current price. So it's better to inverse in bitcoin for now. Surely the price will increase and you get good profit from it.
Everyone is optimistic about a rally yet again as they are tired of the the price range play for a while and people in the cryptocurrency world does not have the patience, in stock market you find out about a stock and the wait starts for years actually to see any major movements in the stock and it all depends upon how the company is performing, here everything happens quickly and still people are not satisfied  Cheesy.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid virus 2021 on: July 05, 2021, 06:25:55 PM
This is difficult to achieve, many people are already fed up with this situation. they really miss the pre-pandemic situation. I hope this vaccination can stop this pandemic as soon as possible.
It is a fact that everyone is tired of locking themselves in and not going out, the problem is that the lock down has caused stress on many and there are millions who lost their jobs and it is hard to survive if it keeps on shutting down everything, either the government has to provide money to everyone which is impossible and the virus is mutating and it is said we might go through another pathetic situation in the following months.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin high fees on: July 05, 2021, 04:07:53 PM
@capn and @hardiksoni966 ^^^ I doubt you made any transactions recently, if so you will not be having these doubts Roll Eyes, in which wallet you gave $24 and $31 as transaction fees and why would do give them when the fees is 3 sat/vB and you will get a confirmation within an hour and i am making transactions for a month with low fees and it is getting confirmed within no time.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin? Will Bitcoin be traded in all countries in 2025? on: July 05, 2021, 03:10:44 PM
Bitcoin has been traded by most countries in the world, it's just that the legality of Bitcoin is still not widely accepted.  Bitcoin has been quite popular until now, most countries have traded Bitcoin legally and illegally.  most likely in the future as you mentioned in 2025 the Bitcoin community will be more and more
The fact remains that majority of the countries there is no rule dictating the cryptocurrency market and only a few countries banned them altogether and the truth is that it is impossible to ban a virtual currency even though they come up with any legal framework.

One thing we have seen throughout its short history is that there are more investors getting interested in the market and 4 years down the line, the total market cap will be multiple times higher than we have now.
106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade? on: July 04, 2021, 10:24:42 PM
~
This is true for those who trade with their own money which doesn't make him feel bad in 80% loss in a week. For margin traders, this argument is not true because their capital will be zero if the market price doesn't go back the original bought level. HODL is best when you are an early bird and the middle market fluctuations have no effect on your investment.
Market investment should be done with your savings and not with your emergency funds and the first lesson everyone should learn is that never take a loan and think that you will be able to multiply your money in a short period of time because of the high volatility. The pressure of returning will mess you up completely. Holding for the long term and investing when the market is bleeding is the only way to trade without much stress.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 04, 2021, 10:11:51 PM
I'm sure England will advance to the final in Euro2020.

Will the final be Italy vs England? or Spain vs England?
My bet is on England to win the Euro 2020, they are playing well and Harry Kane is motivating the team and they are playing aggressive football and finding opportunities to score goals and two more games and they will be the champions. I did not expect England to reach the quarter finals before the tournament but now i am convinced we will see them in the final unless they misfire completely and have an off day.

The other finalist might be Italy as Spain was inconsistent in the last match and was struggling to score a goal against Switzerland.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 04, 2021, 09:32:51 PM
Looks like the fight will push through despite of the lawsuit, Manny already flew to US for his usual trainings and he’s confident to win on this match. Yes, he should retire if he losses on this match, he’s too old and already a successful boxer, good for him because he owns a lot of investments which makes them one of the richest man in my country. Anyway, Manny will not let this fight go easily, expect a much intense one.
So what about the lawsuit, since the lawsuit is filed by a powerful management company they need to reach a solution before the fight taking place and hopefully it wont be his last fight but the problem is that he is too much involved in politics in his native country and hence i am not sure how much time he was spending training for the last two years along with his political career.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 04, 2021, 07:50:01 PM

It looks like today is not their lucky day. Play has resumed at Bristol, with Sri Lanka struggling at 141/8. Dushmantha Chameera and Dasun Shanaka are at the crease and England is trying really hard to get the remaining two wickets (there is a sense of urgency now, as it is expected that there will be more rain interruptions later). When a mediocre bowler like Tom Curran dismantles the Sri Lankan batting lineup, you can imagine how horribly they have performed in this series. England is missing more than half a dozen of their regular players, and still they will end up with a 3-0 series win.
It was their lucky day for Sri Lanka as the match was washed out, with that terrible score they were not going to win either way  Cheesy. So their next series will be against India and the match started this month 13th if i am not wrong and i hope we will have a good contest and hopefully the odds will be good as the odds for England was trash.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will El Salvador become the "Home of Bitcoin"? on: July 04, 2021, 03:40:57 PM
I think no. El Salvador may even abandon its bitcoin decision after a while. Because it has a very dangerous side. Countries like America, England cannot survive if they do not support bitcoin.
Why do you think El Salvador will abandon its decision and what is the dangerous side you are talking about, if they allow a pseudo transparency currency, the government could monitor every transaction made and most probably they will be providing their centralized wallet and why you think that US and UK cannot survive without Bitcoin. I just want to know your thoughts behind this statement.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 04, 2021, 01:19:07 PM
The way Sri Lankans played in this tour, its seems long and tiring outing for the Sri Lankan's fans and players. Players must be thanking rain atm, this team is really going down the gutter and hitting new low after every series. We have fair amount of cricket coming up, hopefully no more dead series.
The Sri Lankan players will be happy with the weather and they might be praying for the weather interruption throughout the series and they finally got when they were struggling, if the delay was before the start of the innings they would have saved themselves from the embarrassment of 132 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

The next series is between England and India right.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 03, 2021, 11:16:02 PM
Good news for Indian Domestic cricket, BCCI announced their schedule for 2021-2022 season.
- Women's One Day League : Sep 21, 2021
- Women's One Day Challenger Trophy : Oct 27, 2021
- Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy : Oct 20, 2021 (Final : Nov 12, 2021)
- Ranji Trophy : Nov 16, 2021 to Feb 19, 2022
- Vijay Hazare Trophy : Febr 23, 2022 to Mar 26, 2022
Total 2127 Matches, which includes every age group (Men and Women)
It is a lot of matches and it is good news for the players who were missing out of action for over a year and i assume that they will be paid only when they are playing or does the BCCI or their state board pay them salary on a monthly basis, i have no idea about these details but i know they get paid for playing the match, without any workout i hope there will be many players that are completely out of shape Grin.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 03, 2021, 10:23:47 PM
Mithali Raj scored a boundary and took the team home and this is the first time Mithali Raj performed in this series.
Which channel was telecasting the match ?, i did not watch the match but saw an article in cricinfo that Mithali Raj became the highest run scorer in Woman's cricket and she went past that record as the leading run scorer and then she made sure that the team won and none of the news channels picked up the news as far as i know and if it was the Men's team it would be a news headline.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Million dollar win on $15 parlay whoa on: July 03, 2021, 09:49:04 PM
This is the most insane winning parlay I've ever seen.  And with the last leg resting on a golf match that went deep into a playoff.  Would have had a heart attack watching myself
I have seen users posting huge parlay wins in gambling sites where they are winning huge amounts by placing small bets but that was when the price of Bitcoin was well below $5k and i have seen users posting wins of 49BTC with small amounts but this is a crazy win and i will not predict Harris English to win the Travelers Championship at +3,500 and the bets he placed are insane.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vegas Casinos to allow Cannabis Lounges. on: July 03, 2021, 07:54:36 PM
I do think that this is a step taken by both casinos and the government to ensure that people loose more, so that they do not care about what they are doing and at the end both the casinos and the government will make more money this way.
I surely think that this might not be the way to go, alcoholic drinks are served in the casinos for a reason. I do think that this might be a "happy news" for most people but at the same time you should realize that this is something that will drastically reduce your chances of winning.
I would like to have a good time in casinos and it is great to hear that Vegas casinos are allowing Cannabis lounges which is unheard of in other states but even if i go there by chance to gamble i will never do so high as the purpose for me is to enjoy the moment and gamble and then on the last day i might have a blast and that said there is a remote chance of me ever visiting Vegas in my lifetime Cheesy .
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: July 03, 2021, 06:17:45 PM
the government encourages citizens to invest in their products by spreading fuds on other investment products such as Bitcoin...

the government controls the media and that's what makes them able to market their products at any time, but Bitcoin has a strong loyal community, which the government can't regulate at will.
That is not the truth, the government is not going to FUD about other investments, they are issuing warnings because of the number of fraudulent activities that are taking place in the cryptocurrency market. Exchanges running away with money, ICO scamming people and the government will warn their citizens.

The main reason why people are confident in investing in government controlled investment is because they are guaranteed that if anything happens they will compensate unlike private companies.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 01, 2021, 10:54:20 PM

In the end they made 167/6. Kieron Pollard just butchered the South African bowlers in the end. Kagiso Rabada conceded 25 runs in the 19th over, while Lungi Ngidi gave away 18 runs in the last over. From 89/5, Pollard took them to a very decent score. But it needs to be seen whether the total is going to be enough for the West Indies or not. South Africa do have some explosive batsmen in the top order. We need to see how the West Indian bowlers (in particular Fidel Edwards and Andre Russell) deal with Quinton de Kock and Rassie van der Dussen.
I did not expect West Indies to score 167 runs when they were struggling at 104 for 6 and 3.3 overs left, no wonder Pollard is the most destructive batsman in the format and he always performs well when he is the captain, i have seen similar kind of performance from him in the IPL last year when he was the captain and West Indies winning the match by 21 runs. It is really crazy how the match has changed completely in a matter of few balls.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This time when bear market comes on: July 01, 2021, 09:26:40 PM
We aren't in a bear market right now and no one wants that to happen. I think we're not going to have a bear market anymore because there are some incredibly large investments. I expect a stagnant market again in July, but there may be huge positive movements in August  Smiley
There are huge investments from institutional investors and that is driving the market for a while and you need to understand that they are here in this market to make a profit and hence we cannot say that we wont be seeing a bear market anymore as there will be a time when these huge investors will be booking their profit as well and when that happens the market will go down. It is impossible to predict when that would be but you should expect that when you are investing.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 01, 2021, 07:35:00 PM
It has been quite frustrating that the ICC is not releasing the schedule for the T20 World Cup yet. Only three and half months remain and we still don't know who will be facing in the first set of matches. They have only given the list of 4 stadiums where the matches will be held - Oman Cricket Academy Ground (Al Amerat), Dubai International Stadium, Sheikh Zayed Stadium (Emirate of Abu Dhabi), and the Sharjah Stadium. But there is no information regarding which groups will be playing on each of these grounds.
They announced moving the T20 World Cup recently and they announced the venue and in a week or two they will be announcing the entire schedule details. The problem is that things are changing rapidly every week and hence they might be taking their time to announce the schedule.

South Africa and West Indies are playing and i was expecting a much stronger performance from West Indies but they already lost 6 wickets for 104 runs and they only have 3.3 overs left and the only positive aspect is that Kieron Pollard is still in the crease and he needs to pick up the momentum to take them to a decent score.
120  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is still so cheap? on: July 01, 2021, 04:30:03 PM
This is the only thing I don't understand right now. It is extremely cheap. The potential is huge, El Salvador goes all in BTC and people still don't have the eyes to see it. More countries will soon join in, people will regret it later for not buying but it's their choice. It's still so cheap and this is not normal!
Looks like you are holding a lot of coins and how much you invested in Bitcoin to think that the price is still low ?. In terms of the scaling it is well above the price i was expecting, countries accepting Bitcoin is great and we need to lookout for the amount of users that are making that change and if there is a huge spike in investment from El Salvador then we can very well say that it was great for the community as the price has spiked.
