101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Play? on: May 08, 2020, 02:28:19 PM
If that is a mandatory call in a certain gambling site, it probably won't give the interest. I know there is no such rule and to know that a gambler can give something if they want to, it is just an option. That is why we can't find such gambling sites existed today and even it has existed, I shouldn't make use of it. It is really against the well of individuals and that 5% from our winning, it is big enough to cover up my losses in the past days. This winning is a consolation price either, if that only 1%, maybe I have to consider it.

I kind of agree with this.

But I might still be playing for the sake of charity, although it cannot be all the time. Nobody will be gambling all the time for the sake of charity. In the long run, that little percentages will accumulate and will affect to a certain extent the total numbers. That matters a lot to a gambler.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: April 20, 2020, 09:12:52 AM
The profit is very small, but I am considering it doing for longterm so I think It's all good for now.
I will at least observe the movement for months and consider if I am gonna continue it or not.
[/center]
LoL  Grin Grin At first glance, I was surprised by the profit value in USD, but when I look carefully, the basic profit in BTC is very small, less than 0.5%. Soaring BTC has made your profits somewhat strong  Grin I expect a better profit, 1% a week is good enough for compounding  Cheesy compound interest is something really big compared to regular profits, I'm waiting 1% for your next week  Cheesy I will invest immediately if it is 1%  Tongue

Any increase or decrease in USD should not even be considered at all. That increase or decrease does not say anything about whether the investment is gaining or losing. The man is investing in BTC, the profit or loss should also be measured in BTC. It is totally silly to check on the USD value when you are investing in BTC. You are like the fake traders wearing wide smiles on their faces because their USD value is rising real fast when in fact the market is just bullish.

104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 10, 2020, 01:53:51 PM
This is one of the hardest parts of this crisis we are currently facing. Businesses like these casinos have no income and so they probably don't have enough money to support the salaries of their entire working staff while there is no money coming in. Others are lucky enough to be able to continue providing salaries to their workers for weeks even if they are not earning anything. But not every single casino is in that better position.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time Will tell on: April 10, 2020, 01:15:39 PM
Think of the way governments tries to Establish different regulations and laws on Bitcoin this leads to see the feuture of Bitcoin will be good more than the way we think. Government should not underestimates people's Power and Bitcoin strengthen by It's users

The governments will soon realize that since Bitcoin is the money chosen by the people themselves with absolute freedom and without the slightest amount of coercion, they will recognize it. Bitcoin is not something imposed on us by some kind of government or ruling power and authority. It is there not even calling us. It is just right there sitting passively as an alternative to what is globally accepted. And yet people freely choose it. We are the ones who will show and demonstrate to the governments that we are choosing Bitcoin.
106  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Need suggestions on: April 10, 2020, 12:24:19 PM

Useful thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5238582.0

2. Lending.

Useful thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5142115.0

Useful thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5142115.0

4. Lending investment through exchanges.

Useful site: https://www.binance.com/en/lending

Good luck kabayan. At welcome din pala. Enjoy na rin at stay at home.  Cheesy
107  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin’s Explosive Surge is Firing up the Bullish Sentiment on: April 09, 2020, 02:01:51 PM
Do you think this bullish sentiment has legs?

Not really but that does not mean we are not going to hit $8,000 anytime soon. But I guess we are not yet really on an aggressive run. Or perhaps I am just into a more gloomy forecast because of what is happening around. I just hope this is not a trap.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Casino with good Investment Returns? on: April 09, 2020, 12:34:26 PM
Bustadice and bustabit as many other suggested is good to invest for any individuals but I don't know how much returns you are expecting from casinos which will be roughly 5% per year so if you are new to casino investment then get used to the return amounts. Smiley

5% per year is not bad as long as we can still get a good return from the investment. But that will depend on how big we can use the money for the investment so the return will be bigger too. I don't try with the investment in gambling website because right now, I better to use the bitcoin for trade because I see that the return is good for me. People should be careful to choose the right gambling website to invest because not all of them now offers investment for their members.

The return in casino investment is not that high but still good enough if you are just planning to hodl your cryptos. Instead of keeping them and let them sleep and acquire value, why not just invest it in a casino and have it grow itself as well as its value. That would be much better. And the risk is rather low because casinos are very seldom hitting a net loss in a year.
109  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before investing in bitcoin, What should I think about? on: April 08, 2020, 02:18:14 PM
5. What Should You Invest In?[/b]

Shall this question need to be asked? I thought you are asking questions before investing in Bitcoin?

Quote
What thoughts did you go through before investing in Bitcoin?

There was not much thought to be honest. Everything was pretty quick. Not much questions asked either. I started investing in Bitcoin when the thing was riding on so much hype. It was the time when even shitcoins were selling like hotcakes. The problem was only about money. I didn't have much. I had to settle with a little investment.
110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin last forever? on: April 08, 2020, 12:17:49 PM
We see that's some of the cryptocurrencies ranking level are decreased such as dogecoin before it was ranked #4 but currently I think it doesn't listed even in top #10 ranking... So can bitcoin also decrease its rank in the future or it will remain #1 rank forever?.

"Will Bitcoin last forever?" is totally different from "will remain #1 rank forever?"

Will Bitcoin last forever? Of course, not. It will not even last 500 years for sure, not even 200 years. Forever, my friend, is much much more than a million years.

Will Bitcoin remain #1 rank forever? If that means for as long as crypto is alive, yes. Bitcoin will remain to be the number 1 rank until crypto dies.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bot attack bounty thread on: April 07, 2020, 01:34:38 PM
That is very rampant nowadays. Bots are slowly taking over those which should have been done by actual members. That is not only prevalent here in this forum. Bots are also running wild in Telegram and social media sites and exchange platforms. Even bounty applications as well as weekly reports are done by bot obviously. Even campaigns that are already done are still pestered with bot reports and even applications. It is about time there must be done with it.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and covid-19 : Which is more risky ? on: April 07, 2020, 12:13:39 PM
But gambling addiction is our choice.
It isn't, no one chooses to be addicted in gambling because we know it will destroy our lives.
Thing is we are just irresponsible sometimes that we haven't notice we are already addicted in gambling, and we will only change if we lose everything as we will be learning the hard way, some people sell their property just to gamble and only later they realize that they are already addicted to gambling.

Gambling is indeed our choice, but addiction is not. Nobody forces us to be gamblers. In fact, even addiction, if we broken it down to small pieces, it could even be perceived as something that is made up of smaller free choices. You are perfectly free when you decided to go to the casino every time you don't have anything to do. You are perfectly free as well when you decided to set aside a big amount for gambling. Add all that up and you might eventually become addicted to it.

Corona virus, on the contrary, is never a choice. We cannot see it and we cannot tell whether a person is infected or not. That makes it much riskier than gambling.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: April 07, 2020, 09:35:33 AM
l play with a very short time per game - 2 minutes + 1 second per turn.
Playing at this pace becomes really adrenaline. And after game it is very difficult to fall asleep or focus on something for me. Therefore i play online rarely.
Adrenaline push must be only only reason why so many people are here still into gambling which is definitely missing out in long duration games. The chess game is known for its own long time duration due to players will take time about thinking about movement of their kingdom. Definitely chess is not favorite game for me and I believe most people like me will be here.

There has to be a clock in a chess game especially if it's a serious one or one that involves a bet. Otherwise, it might take forever for the match to finally end.

Anyway, chess used to be a favorite game when I was a kid, when my brain cells were still fresh. The older I get, the harder for me to last a long chess game without feeling tired thinking. Lol.

Wearing everything. I hope I could be of help to the final wishes of this forum's "most prolific poster."

Bruno sounds to me a name of someone who's grumpy, and then I saw his picture and his countenance is as gentle as Santa Claus'.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will only the best survive? on: April 06, 2020, 01:26:15 PM
That has always been the rule everywhere where there is competition among many. And that is really good in the world of cryptocurrency because that would weed out the poorly created projects and scams. And we have so many of them. The world of cryptocurrency is flooding of shitcoins. In fact, the only good ones out of thousands are just a hundred or two probably. ETH of course is the top standard when it comes to altcoins.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep track of your gambling? how? on: April 06, 2020, 12:38:04 PM
do you registerhow much you separate for gambling?
do you see it as an investment?

if yes, how do you track it?
simples spreadsheets, physical notebooks or maybe some different way?

Nope, I don't register how much I spend for gambling. Gambling comes anytime not necessarily scheduled so I cannot be accurate on my expenses. But I don't gamble much.

Gambling as investment? Of course not. That must be a silly thing to equate gambling and investment. Investment is for ROI not for fun and burning money. Gambling is the complete opposite.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin payment for Exploit. on: April 06, 2020, 11:09:46 AM
Why are we blaming the medical personnel though? If the hospital managers wanted to secure their database and bulletproof it from any kind of hack, they could do it. Medical personnel aren't IT specialists, so why put your trust on their mouses when you can secure your database from attacks?

I have no doubts the hospital managers know how valuable our personal data is on the black markets.. so why do nothing about securing it?

I don't think these personnel ever forgot the importance of their patients' data, it is just that they must be doing things as if the possible threats are not as near as their doorstep. They were wrong of course but putting the entire blame on them is also wrong. They must be presuming everything to be pretty normal. But these hospitals should now consider hiring a data security staff to make sure everything's well protected. The cost of not having one is pretty high.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CitiOS (R2R) gone for good? on: April 06, 2020, 10:41:32 AM
For me, I don't want to complicate things anymore. Whether this project is scam or not, the mere fact that the volume is zero means this is garbage. So, that is more than enough proof for me that this project should not even be given attention. I don't need to even dig deeper about this project.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [QUERY] Online Casino recommendation for beginners. on: April 05, 2020, 02:19:21 PM
Good Day Everyone

Due to the outgoing viral outbreak that is happening in our world, I have decided to at least play some beginner casino game which can be very understood very quickly. This is my first time replying or creating a thread in Gambling discussion so I do not have enough knowledge in terms of gambling.

Can anybody recommend some of the mainstream casino for beginners? Though I am wearing signature of coinsaga it is restricted in our country.

If any you can also recommend a good/must read  thread in this section.

FortuneJack is still the best for me no matter what, as they have the best features that I'm looking for in a gambling platform. The ambiance of the platform is very refreshing in the eyes and it is not that hard to use in playing different games. Also the withdrawal is not a problem and if this gambling platform have some issues and error, they perform troubleshooting immediately so that its customers will not have a hard time using their casino. Some casinos lack of features, like games and etc. FortuneJack accepts most of the cryptocurrency, bitcoin and altcoin, so it is your choice if what currency you will choose. They also allow fiat currency so that those who are not knowledgeable about bitcoin can still play, plus, it is a newbie friendly casino.

Here is the trust feedback of fortunejack: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=303298. They have serious issues. Take time reading the references.

As for me, Bitsler comes to mind foremost.
