Because if it was actually a player such as Lebron or one of those "highly-endorsed" players, then we could truly expect the NBA to hide this matter from the public, OR have the player make a "public apology" + a suspension, but not a life-time ban.
I think all NBA players are still popular because all are good players but there are only some who excels a little than the rest and they do because they prove they can. They are most importantly honest about their plays but I think NBA won't give an exception even to them once proven guilty of getting involved in such act. They need to be fair and transparent or else their reputation is the ones who will get affected and many people won't support them anymore. Doing such disciplinary measures is great, so that there will be no or there are only less players who will attempt of committing such act. I'm sure most players will choose both fame and money over money only and get a bad name. I think the NBA are fair, they've even suspended Ja Morant last year when he was caught caught flashing a gun on a social media. And this is not the first time that we have seen players being banned for life for whatever reasons like point shaving or drug substance abuse. And this players know the risk, we even have one referee as well. Imagine a referee officiating the game and changing the course of the outcome because he had a huge bet on it. I still cannot get over the Haney - Garcia fight where we are all caught by surprise, do you think that we can expect something unexpected in this fight like we did in the Haney - Garcia fight, this Canelo - Munguia fight lacks drama, intrigue it's like a usual fight for each other. @5.10... He was underestimated for sure? This looks like a similar odds on Haney vs Garcia fight but as we all know, there was a big upset happen in that fight as Garcia came to dominate Haney. Not sure if it could happen here but we all know that anything is possible in boxing. I hope I can see a knockout, it's always entertaining to see one, and since Jaime Munguia is still undefeated and has a decent KO rate, it should not be impossible for him to knockout Canelo. I think Jaime is too underrated by the oddsmakers here. He is undefeated, former champion, young and heavy handed. Canelo though has the edge when it comes to skills and experience but Mungia will have the physical advantage being the younger fighter. The difference with Haney is the punching power. If Haney has the power he could've put Garcia down with those body punches. Garcia's defense is still average but Haney does not have the power. Which is why I still cannot see Ryan capable of winning against the likes of Teofimo Lopez and Subriel Matias. Unless of course if Garcia hurt them right from the start as it will change the tempo of the fight. Yeah, that could true. What if we are gonna witness here another defeat of Canelo. Just like his fight with Bivol, he was the heavy favorite but he loss in that fight. I just don't like what Canelo is doing because he is not talking risk fighting fighters that are top rated, but who knows he might be wrong in picking Jaime and might upset here. At the stage of his career, he should be focusing on bigger fights, like pushing his limit as eventually he will retire, at least he tried to give impress the fans by giving them a more exciting fight to watch. Whoever will lose in the fight Beterbiev vs Bivol I guess Canelo will face? Canelo vs Bivol 2 would actually be good so Canelo can regain back that loss. Beterbiev though old, that guy is still massive.
Canelo would want that, he was talking about rematch with Bivol when he loss but it seems he isn't serious with it. Now, for sure he will consider fighing the loser of this fight as that would be favorable for him, and in terms of selling the fight, it's not a problem anymore as Canelo is very popular. A Bivol vs Canelo II would be interesting to watch, and I can already see what would happen next, if Canelo will even the outcome like beating Bivol in a rematch, there could be a possible trilogy, which will create more hype in the career of Canelo, just a smart strategy in case he'll bite that. I'm not really sure if Canelo wanted to test the 175 lbs again after what Bivol has done to him. He is still the A-side, and so if ever either Bivol or Beterbiev or Benavidez wants Canelo, it could be in a catch-weight. What do you guys think about the Canelo Vs Munguia fight, which is not far away, on 4th May. Bookies seem to be thinking it's going to be smooth sailing for Canelo. I'm not that big of a boxing fan and haven't been following Munguia's career that closely, but his record and KO rate (of almost 80%) look quite impressive. Odds are very similar to Canelo Vs Bivol, when the Mexican was a big favorite but got outclassed by the Russian.  Are these fair or misplaced? Worth putting a few $ on Munguia? The odds seem very fair. Similar to Garcia vs. Haney, there is a significant disparity in skill level. Munguia is a big puncher so we can’t completely count him out. Unlike Haney, Canelo has knockout power and can also take a punch. Munguia won’t be able to just impose his will by charging directly at Canelo. This will be a fight where Canelo’s higher IQ should make the difference. Seems fair in my opinion, Usually Canelo is really a huge favorite in his fight. But when Ryan won the fight, it makes us think that we should look at the underdog very closely like Jaime Munguia here against Canelo. Volume will be the key for Munguia and with his youth, I'm expecting him not to get tired and he should really work with that stamina because he will need a lot of it in this fight. Crazy game 2 between the Lakers and the Nuggets. Everyone thought the Lakers are gonna steal the game 2 as they lead 20 pts at some pt in the 3rd quarter, but the Nuggets didn't give up, was able to establish momentum in the 4th. Though they did not take the lead, but Murray just made a buzzer beater to beat the Lakers by 2 pts.
Man, it looks like the Lakers really stand no chance against the Nuggets. They have not won against them for 2 years straight now lol.
Davis was almost perfect in the 1st half but totally disappeared in the 2nd half.
It looks the Lakers' chance to win this series is by miracle lol.
Same here, I thought that they are going to take game 2 with D'Lo shooting and then AD and Lebron combining for big points. There were moments that AD was in rhythm and no one can stop him and Murray has a terrible shooting night. I think the Lakers can get at least 1 game in this series and break their losing streak. Other Lakers like Austin Reaves have to stop up and help. Although Rui and Reaves has the task of guarding Jokic and Murray and that is big already and perhaps them concentrating on defense put their offense at the back seat as they didn't score double digits. Usually their starting five scores at least 100 points, but not in this series yet. |

I don't blame them, but the thing is, they sell their dignity in order to promote gambling, maybe because the offer is too good for them to refuse, but the concept of them abandoning their dignity and ignoring the fact that they could have a bad influence on their viewers, even if they put a warning about being responsible in gambling, the thing is, people or viewers will for sure be attracted if they see the streamers getting or winning too much money. And the theory is that, what if the money or account they are using is not their money or account? Is it an account from the gambling platform that they let the streamers use in order to promote the platform? I can't ignore the fact that a theory might be possible. I've always been puzzled by this phrase, "the flow of the cards". I've heard it from serious gamblers, but I've never really gotten the chance to ask them what it actually means. I am therefore turning to you guys to ask, what the do gamblers mean when they say it?

I will surmised that it has something to do with card counting? Could be just follow the flow of the cards, meaning if card counters are in the break to get a good card then they should followed it. Or if you are not a card counter, then bet on how you see it, if you think that you are going to win, then it will come, "the flow of the cards" might be in your favor and so take advantage of it. So there could be a lot of meaning from it, and it could not be only applied to blackjack, but any other card games like baccarat. |

I'm taking the Mavericks in game one. I think Luka and kyrie are built for road game villains. If one is having an off night the other can drop 40. I'm not touching the Pelicans game, even without zion I still think they got a decent shot against sacramento. Ingram can be an alpha whenever he wants and he shoukd show up huge in that game tomorrow. Pels won against Sacramento so everything is set on the West, I thought that the Kings will win, but the Pelicans even without Zion played great defense and it carried them. Let's see the Clippers vs Mavs, I think this is one of the most intriguing match up in the first round. And so there are a lot of speculations as what the new all time high will be, but all agreed that at least a 6 digit price is on the horizon and this will be our top price for this bull run. It might take some time to get to that price though. |
