1001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 03, 2023, 07:31:16 AM
I love both of them and I don't want to see this showdown happen, I can't live without seeing one of them down while the other standing, Zuckerberg has a big shot because of is Brazilian Jiu-Jutsu but that doesn't make Musk weak either but to me, Zuckerberg would probably win if truly he is good at this Jiu-Justu.

I will happily place my bet on Zuckerberg but I don't want to see this fight happen, they are both my favourite self made billionaires.

If this ever happens, it's going to be fun and hilarious at the same time, this is going to be a fight that will never erase from the history and maybe we will see others like them going to the ring for showdowns too
1002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2024 will determined bitcoin fate on: July 02, 2023, 04:45:54 PM
Wrong analysis, you are a newbie for sure and that's why you need to learn before trying to teach on this forum, if you are not certain of something, it's better you ask instead of forming something you don't know much about.

You said that many expectations for Bitcoin have failed but honestly, none have failed so far, it's all the beginning of a bear market in 2022, if anyone is expecting anything from Bitcoin right now knows nothing about crypto market cycle.

Your calculations are all wrong, you should have ask questions first before coming up with this explanation.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: July 02, 2023, 03:45:37 PM
I’ve turned $1,000 into $100,000
I’ve turned $6,000 into $80,000
I’ve turned $11,000 into $550,000
and recently I’ve turned $4,000 into $90,000

With nothing to show for it…I’m a sharp sports bettor, but I always end up going all in. I can never be satisfied until it’s too late. I always need to go all in.

I’ve been reading comments from my last post (turning $4,000 into $90,000 and losing the entire $90,000), and I can’t help but feel like shit.

How do I get over the countless failures? I’ve been chasing the $1,000,000 dream for years.
How come that you have nothing to show for it? Are you saying you lost all this money back to gambling? That's the spirit of a true gambler, they always end up returning what they owe to gambling, this is why we have to be very careful with gambling because even if you win today you are still coming back tomorrow,  and it's always a pay back time.

Many don't know that they are on the verge of getting addicted to gambling, they win a large amount of money, instead of them to look at themselves as a lucky man, they look at themselves as a gambling genius, that's where they destroy everything they've worked so hard for.

In your one case OP, greed of gambling have consumed you whole, if I can turn 1000$ into 100,000$ I will never return and if I have to return, I will start using small amount to gamble, when you accept that gambling and winning is complete luck, you will know how to gamble when you accept that fact.
1004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 02, 2023, 02:21:11 PM
Slots games which is my favorite are suitable for the age of 15 upward, and some online casinos accepts kids from that age on their platform, there are some that are younger and still able to give false information on any online casinos to be permitted to gamble, it's easier to them to find an adult ID to pass KYC verification or they can use their parents too, there is really no way for casinos to know if one of their customer is underage or not and most casinos don't care either.

I am from a country where even small kids are tempted to gamble online to survive, the poverty rate is alarming and for many, gambling is one of their rescue forces, I have meet a 14years old buy you likes soccer and place bets on soccer games.
1005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be intimidated on: July 02, 2023, 01:59:52 PM
It's pretty hard to believe that people can invest in Bitcoin for show off, the show off only begins when they earn money, not before, even if they sell their properties to buy Bitcoin, there will still be a part of them that have the fear of losing their money, so what is here to show the world when it's still a work in progress? It's a big risk that many can't even think of doing using their properties.

I am in no where supporting selling your properties, it's a good way to get more money but it's a strategy that belong to a self made millionaire, they always have many properties, and they are different from those who have one property.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ads for online gambling should be banned. on: July 01, 2023, 06:49:58 AM
Well that's Australia for you, maybe they are aware of the bad impact of gambling on their citizens, most especially the young ones, but honest they care that's why they are doing this, other countries are gaining a lot from casinos and they don't care what that is doing to their citizens of the country, still this won't stop anyone in that country from gambling, they already know about it and people can still influence other people to try their luck with gambling, if they really want to stop this, they should ban gambling in the country.

The government of the country can come up with a better idea of letting it's citizens know more about gambling responsibly, I read the news and it's saying that gambling is all about winning some and losing more, and that's accurate, I believe there are ways they can prepare their people to limit or gamble responsibly too.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Friendly Match is Hard to Predict on: July 01, 2023, 05:30:23 AM
Friendly match are hard to predict because they are less entertaining and that is because it is just a friendly match, you won't get the same performance that you can get out of a La Liga football match or Champions League since this is just a friendly match you should expect less performance and possible manipulation because when things are not be taken very seriously it will be easier for the football coach to take bribe behind the back and take accept defeat for the money.

I also have some friends that are into football gambling specifically, They always complain about friendly matches and none of them have ever bet their money on any friendly matches because they believe that it is less fun and more harder to predict.
1008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you think Bitcoin will rise to in the next round of bull market? on: June 29, 2023, 07:45:15 AM
Since this post is all about bitcoin future prediction I don't think this is the right section to post this type of topic, I believe we have a speculation board on this forum which is more suited for this topic.

this is very hard to predict and no one knows what will happen in the future but all we can do is speculate about the price of Bitcoin in the future it is possible that bitcoin can reach a hundred thousand dollars or a bit more but we need to be careful and know how to read charts because it is also possible that bitcoin will perform a little better than its previous all-time high of 202, maybe 79,000$ this time around?

If you have been accumulating since 2022 you should be fine and do not forget to take profit either ways, remember that higher price expectations are why some people got burned, they also expected 100k Bitcoin and they failed to take profit.
1009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you dare to pawn your bitcoin? on: June 29, 2023, 06:40:11 AM
This is stupid because we have an exchange already for trading, but using Bitcoin as collateral? Something that fluctuates a lot? It's better to come into an agreement with the pawn store owner base on the price action between the payback period or else it's going to be a bad idea.

This is just me though, some might make more sense out of the idea but I don't see how, you could get burnt easily if you use Bitcoin or any volatile assets like crypto currency as collateral.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's find out which gambling game is the most played among our community... on: June 29, 2023, 06:09:59 AM
It's very easy to figure out which gambling is the most popular, after soccer and sports bets it's slots that follows.

Sports betting is easier than others because it's entertaining and fun to watch, if you can derive pleasure from something and you are able to also make money out of it, then nothing can beat this.

Slots are blind gambling, lacks analysis and you have only your good luck to rely on, it's easier to click the button and wait for your result but not all Slots games are captivating, some are good and some are better.

1011  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin trading for the lily-livered? on: June 28, 2023, 08:22:11 AM
All soldiers are soldiers but they have their different areas of expertise,  crypto trading is not for the weak hearted, this is like going to a war and using any possible means to survive, you can either be good with a spade or a sword or whatever, just find what suits you the best, trading is a very big income earning stream where there are endless strategy you can use to get your gains but figuring which one is best for you will be your battle.

Trust me, it's not going to be that easy, but if you have make up your mind you will eventually come up with a way, your own personal way of trading, you will spent most time learning and doing practice but if you want the fastest way, you need to find a master and buy premium trading tools.

Today we have tools that tell or signals when to buy and when to sell, they are very handy for those who know too less about trading and it's helpful, just do your own research.
1012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Portal launches demo for atomic swaps for ordinal inscriptions on: June 28, 2023, 07:52:16 AM
I find this ordinals thing really annoying and I hope it ends as soon as possible.  It all seems like a big bubble ready to burst and someone will get hurt as usual.  Bitcoin was not born to exchange stickers but to solve a problem of financial freedom, so that is not the right purpose to use it.
Some people are happy about the high transaction fee, those are the Bitcoin Miners, since this Ordinal is another good opportunity for miners to make more money, Ordinals will certainly be supported by miners and those benefitting from the high fee.

I also believe that if Bitcoin makes a new all time high by 2024 or 2025, ordinals will bring massive profits for the investors.

There is a lesson I have learnt in crypto space since 2018, the most hated new innovation in crypto space always make the newest millionaires in a new bull market, are we going to keep doing this? We said the same when meme coins was new, it's how we missed Shiba, I know that after the massive pump there is a chance that such innovation won't matter anymore, but let's ride the waves together in order to get more Bitcoin in the end.

Ordinals is a new opportunity to get good numbers of Bitcoin in coming bull market, it could happen, all the hates on memecoin in 2020 failed to stop billions of dollars flowing into them, be wise, this crypto space is speculative area, follow where new money is heading
1013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Confident Are You In The Reliability of the KYC system on: June 28, 2023, 07:05:09 AM
I can confidently pass any KYC requirement if the casino I want to use is very popular, I don't see any reason not to pass KYC because I have not heard about someone getting into trouble because of KYC, we only procrastinate about what could happen if you keep giving out your identity online but what could possibly go wrong?

Some people have made KYC verification a very bad thing, but it's not, I have been passing KYC since 2017 and I have no problem doing it now, the only places where you aren't supposed to pass KYC are suspicious platforms and scam projects.

If the platform either casino or trading platform, is very popular among traders and gamblers I don't see any reason not to trust them with your KYC, and if you believe it's still not right, do find yourself a platform where they don't want your KYC information.
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: June 28, 2023, 06:42:13 AM
Never! I am simply giving the casino every reason to rob me off my money, a smart gambler must stay clean when using any gambling casino, and make sure you don't create any suspicious move on your account by yourself if the casino is fraudulent, they will easily use one of this act to pin you down, even if you call the attention of people, all you will hear is 'why as you using VPN in the first place' like you have something to hide.

It doesn't matter or make a difference if the online casino prohibits the use of VPN or not, don't because an example where you will be forced to ask them where the rules of not using a VPN is, it doesn't matter.

You will be lucky to get things sorted out by the team, that is if they decide to consider you, VPN and gambling is a very bad idea, and avoid serving as an example.
1015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 27, 2023, 10:03:08 AM
I've head this a lot, that something is the best for some certain people, how do you know what's best for some people? I don't like people that reason this way because this life is full of mysteries, no one knows what's best for themselves and yet that's not enough weight on their shoulders only to start talking about what's best for others.

Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency, even a 12 year old can play around with Bitcoin and know how to operate a Bitcoin wallet, it has no limit on what race or gender you are, there is also no age limit when you can be in possession of Bitcoin.

Women can be whatever they want, the best advice for women and even men is to do what makes them happy, there is no point doing something you don't like to do all in the name of you making money, you will end up in sad mood.

Happiness is the best gift when you are still breathing, do not let any life decisions steal that from you, do what makes you happy and enjoy do g just that.
1016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does a whale sell its huge amount of bitcoins and change them into fiats? on: June 27, 2023, 09:31:11 AM
Hello,

From what I read, someone who sells btc sometimes has trouble receiving the fiats in its bank account. If the sum is large, the bank turns on all its red lights. I guess it's not a problem for someone famous, but for an ordinary citizen, how it happens if he lives modestly, recovers his private keys that he lost 10 years ago and finds himself with millions?
I will like to pretend as if this happened to me, I don't normally leave a large amount of money in my bank account and I use a private bank not the public banks that belongs to the government, I can change over 20,000$ to my native Fiat currency and I don't see anything wrong in doing so, the only time to expect problem is if the bank figure out that you are into crypto investment while there is a ban on crypto in the country.

Even if I have a very large amount of money in Bitcoin, I won't be stupid enough to convert the whole money into Fiat and send them into my bank account, my money is safer in BTC or USDT than my bank anyway.

Why would anyone do that? To show off? If you want to build a house you can't build it in a day, so take your time to use a certain amount to continue the house project every month, what could you possibly need the large amount of money for if you convert every thing into Fiat? It makes not sense.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: June 27, 2023, 08:17:54 AM
Only an addicted gambler will called an addicted gambler, let's not pretend not to know what an addicted gambler looks like, and it's a blessing if you are called an addicted gambler and it hit you hard, that's because you are still awake from the hypnosis of gambling.

If you are this person then you are in good shape still, now go back and sit and think about why people would call you that, maybe you are already losing your mind? Ask yourself these questions because you can really end up with an answer, before it's too late.

The fact is, road to gambling addict is a bit different from a gambling addict, someone who is already addicted to gambling won't feel a thing if anyone call them a gambling addict, they now have a goal and they are waiting to surprise those that called them that name (gambling addict), real gambling addict are always working towards the dream in their head.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: June 27, 2023, 07:51:55 AM
Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?
I am not gambling to make money, I gamble for fun, but making sure I am not wasting money on gambling. But if my work takes most of my time, I will prefer not to gamble because I put where that I make money from to be first.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?
Yes but not so big to make a life fortune. I do not know how to answer this than saying that I have weekly budget for gambling which is very small in amount and I do not go more than it.
when y'all say you don't gamble to make money but rather for the fun of it, trust me I get confused.
Is it that you don't make earnings from gambling or, you don't have a strategy with which you gamble with??

What happens to your earnings from gambling since you're not gambling for the money.
It's normal to get lost with such claims, what this is trying to tell you is that people have learned that losing is the only realistic thing with gambling, if you gamble it's certain that you will lose money.

To keep gambling, what is the only way forward? There is nothing left than to gamble very safe and lower your aim with gambling or even better not to expect anything from gambling.

If you have this type of mindset, you won't be an addict and you will gamble less, there is another benefit that comes with this.

1. You now understand the risk.

2. You gamble only when you can really afford to lose a certain amount of money.

You are now different from those that want to turn their lives around using gambling, you are now different from those that gamble every blessed day waiting for a miraculous day to take place.

Losing in gambling is REAL.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins? on: June 26, 2023, 09:14:37 AM
A new casino can easily go bankrupt if a player win very big, and most casinos will try so much to avoid paying up, you need to know the steps to take to make sure they pay, you will need the help of a lawyer to guide you through steps.

This is why gamblers need to be careful with the casino they choose to take risks, some casinos can evade payment if the money is too high and believe me they can decide to close down the business because of that single win just to avoid paying up, do not use a new gambling platform, until they have worked a lot on their reputation and they are still in business.

The risks with new gambling casino is higher than the old casinos, there are things new casinos are capable of because they are still new, some are not even registered yet and they are looking for many customers, choose your casinos wisely.
1020  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's Bitcoin trust worthy on: June 26, 2023, 08:31:20 AM
It's Bitcoin trust worthy for investment? Cus have tried many platform but all failed and this my last hope... I was introduced into it.
You tried many platforms like? Bitcoin is not a platform, it's a digital currency/asset that has few advantages and it's more like the peoples money because it depends on it's decentralized capability, if you are talking about High Yield Investment Plans or MMM Ponzi schemes well Bitcoin is not like them.

And do not expect a big income or gains like HYIP from Bitcoin, you need money to invest buy dollar cost average weekly or monthly or when you can afford it and you also need a lot of patience, I will advise you do some research first on Bitcoin, even if you buy how are you going to keep your Bitcoin safe? Learn about Bitcoin wallet and keeping recovery phrases safe first.

Create time for yourself and do a lot of digging on Bitcoin before you start buying, find and know the best wallet to store your Bitcoin and also know that Bitcoin investment takes time to yield, this is not something you can make a lot of money from in weeks or few months, so invest what you can afford to lose as it's still a risky bet.
