1001  Economy / Economics / Re: What can greece central bank do? on: July 08, 2015, 09:59:44 AM
What I meant is that bitcoin will be the de facto reserve currency of the world, no censorship, no capital controls.

Sure the population is not ready, i dont expect greece to jump on the train tomorrow.

But eventually, it will spread there, people cannot tolerate the government & banking mischiefs much longer, so they want an alternative.

And who is searching, will find it. Just hope google wont ban the bitcoin keyword lol Cheesy
1002  Other / Off-topic / Re: IS UFO or ALIENS are real ? on: July 08, 2015, 09:56:52 AM
I agree, they grow the budget of the air force, and they dont just build drones with it. They definitely have something very high tech i can feel it.

But i also think that those "whistleblowers" are paid shills to promote disinfo. If an ex-military guy comes out with some "secret" info, how trustful can that be?

Isnt it more likely that they are paid shills that either deceive people comercially (to sell books and stuff), or they just promote disinfo.
That's already a tad too paranoid. Some of them might be, but then there are people like Snowden.
In the world of today it is really hard to tell who is telling the truth and who is not. I rarely trust anyone without proper evidence. I'm certain that there is life in the universe, and it is highly likely that the species are much more developed than we are.
However, I'm not sure if we have had contact with them. I don't believe abduction stories and such, unless there is concrete evidence that it has happened.

The question if UFO(s) are real is ridiculous, because we often see objects in the sky that we can't identify. The majority associate a UFO with an alien spaceship (most likely flying saucer).

Yep, unfortunately some lunatics story and unverified testimony is not enough. You can see people claiming Jesus visited them, so what do you expect?

If we want to believe in aliens, then a spaceship has to land in my backyard, otherwise any other proof is unacceptable.
1003  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you earn money online? on: July 08, 2015, 09:54:51 AM
I am building my referral empire on various PTC sites, that works for me, and earns nice passive income.
1004  Other / Off-topic / Re: Post your Total time logged into Bitcointalk on: July 08, 2015, 09:54:08 AM

1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XRA] Ratecoin POW/POS - No ICO/ No premine / No ninja on: July 08, 2015, 09:53:40 AM
Yep this mining project is good, time to decrease the supply to increase price Smiley

What is the current supply of XRA?
1006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today it is Greece. Tomorrow it can be you. on: July 08, 2015, 09:52:42 AM
No wonder they not pass legislation all around europe ,that starts to ban cash, you can only pay now with credit/debit cards.

So all pensions, salaries, subsidies, or any other form of income will go to your bank not your hand.

And the banks will start imposing -1% interest rates, so say goodbye to your money.
1007  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: July 08, 2015, 09:51:13 AM
I earned 0.01 from my signature campaign in total, also a few altcoins from faucets and trading
1008  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: July 07, 2015, 01:11:44 PM
I seriously believe that Bitcoin could be the greatest transfer of wealth in human history. my guess ... at least 21

A sort of meritocracy you mean?

Where the wealth is distributed back to talented and innovative entepreneurs, from conman thief counterfeiter banksters?

Yep it looks promising Smiley
1009  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today it is Greece. Tomorrow it can be you. on: July 07, 2015, 01:10:14 PM
I guess the vote result was the better of two evils. You cannot accept any more loans from the EU or other country, because it will only dig the hole deeper.

They need significant internal financial reform :

1. Increased Tax
2. Government Salaries & Pension cuts. {Eg.. reduction of 30% or more for a period of 5 years, until the economy healed}
3. Assistance to help entrepeneurs to create jobs. {Subsidizing innovation}
4. Strong anti-corruption strategies
5. Creation of a Bitcoin friendly environment {Also informal job creation}
6. Very strict lending practices for high risk loans.
7. Negotiations with the EU to write off a percentage of the debt. {Some countries have done this with 3rd World country debt}

These are just some of the things, they can do to resolve this situation.

Raising taxes is the most bullshit thing you can ever do.

Raising taxes only shrinks the tax base, thus they will have less government budget eventually.

Not to mention the fact that its highly immoral to send armed thugs to your store extorting you for money Smiley
The problem with Greece is not, that the taxes are too low. The Problem is that paying taxes was hardly enforced in the last few years.
Just a little reminder, that Greeks are not just the victims of this crises, but fucked up pretty hard them self and that also counts for the poor people, who also didn't pay taxes, because culture.

Thats why they should lower taxes even lower. If they have medium taxes which are not enforced, then why cant you have low taxes that are enforcet?

You can easily fire some tax collectors, and save some budget money anyway.

But just look at the morality of the entire system, all sorts of inspectors coming to your small store to "check" you is exactly like the maffia.
1010  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 07, 2015, 01:08:03 PM
Why won't you invest in new technologies or in new companies offering new services!?

You can buy some stocks and wait for them to go up... IMO, it probably the safest way for you to invest and wait for high returns. However, for it to be profitable you need to know very well in which stock or company are you investing with!

Well try bitcoin based stocks, coinbase and other stuffs.

Especially regulated companies, because those wont get "shut down", if they pay by the rules of the rulers.
1011  Other / Off-topic / Re: IS UFO or ALIENS are real ? on: July 07, 2015, 01:05:00 PM
You mean that many NASA projects have been sent to the Air Force? Not surprized at all.

There may be a real conspiracy there. If not aliens, but there could be other space things that got discovered that they keep secret.

I`m also suspicious about that SETI stuff, even if they find aliens, whats the chance that they will publish it?
Well I don't know where things are being sent, but things are definitely going to be covered up. There are places that are kept secret for a reason such as Area 51.
One can find a lot of stories from various people that used to work in secret bases, on secret projects, agencies and whatnot. Most consider it to be nonsense, however I ask people why would you believe the government rather than those individuals? Are you really that scared of the possibility of aliens being near us?

I agree, they grow the budget of the air force, and they dont just build drones with it. They definitely have something very high tech i can feel it.

1012  Economy / Economics / Re: Will a bank being hacked boost adoption of bitcoin? on: July 07, 2015, 12:59:13 PM
Well people have to have an option to move money around. And if the banks suck, then the only alternative is bitcoin.

The chances for bank to completely off the grid will be close to zero at this point. Barely I'd say this because the government would not let go of their source of power (they control the bank and FIAT, they control the people) . If banks were to fail, there will be another "system" that replace the traditional bank and shifting onto BTC will be the last resort to do .
You can check on the hype towards greece with their latest issue but simply they are looking for another option rather than BTC , not saying BTC is the complete answer for them but atleast it could be a better option for them

Ok they can put another puppet  institution there ,but none of them can compete with bitcoin.

I just saw a few big banks trying to create a crypto currency, but which they control, is pretty hilarious and pathetic, and desperate.

Are they that desperate to survive?
1013  Economy / Economics / Re: "Deflation" in Europe is actually Inflation in disguise on: July 07, 2015, 12:51:53 PM
Deflation is painful for those who print money. Deflation is good, in absolute terms, for everyone else,, even those in debt. Debt means temporary boost in funds & lower prices means more purchasing power.

That is exactly what Greece kept doing, borrowing money proportionately and now they are unable to pay that back. They lost control and now its out of their hands. Most of us saw this coming and why did they wait long enough till things worsened to such limits.

Any debt above 70% of the GDP is impossible to pay back.

The current world average is about 80% or something along that line.

This also includes companies that have more than 70% debt to assets ratio, most companies are overleveraged.

Its obvious that the world economy will collapse.

After Greece , Italy is the next (normally it would be Japan but they got printing press , Italy doesnt)

1014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really unbreakable? on: July 07, 2015, 12:44:20 PM
well the nextwork can handle 150 TX sec, with some downside... based on the last stress test, we are still far away form visa and company but the difference in power should be the same at the end
Impossible because of decentralization.

you think that because of it, the miners will grow indefinitely and thus rising the power to a much greater extent? well a central autorithy could see this as a competition, and use more energy to increase its network/circuit in the case of a centrlized system like visa/matercard

or maybe you are referring to the contrary

Well then we need to invent decentralized electricity aswell. Until the electricity is controlled by paid shills, they can easily increase the electricity bill cost just to mess with bitcoin mining.
1015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trending in greece! on: July 07, 2015, 12:40:01 PM
Bitcoin must conquer greek finances.

I mean would you rather have "quicksand" in your hands that slips through your fingers named fiat toilet paper?

C`MON the euro is pretty done for, all EU banks are insolvent, the only thing keeping them alive is the massive 1.6 trillion QE that the ECB does until september.

I think after september they will inevitably do a round 2, round 3, and so on.

Hyperinflation is coming folks....
1016  Economy / Economics / Re: What can greece central bank do? on: July 07, 2015, 12:36:07 PM
The GCB all they can do is to stall the collapse.

But mostly i think banks need to increase reserve rates, the bank insureres need to increase their fees, the investment insurance also need to increase its fee.

I think the banking system as we know it is done for. Good, i wont miss it, time to decentralize finance.

Come to papa Bitcoin  Grin

The CoinHD website is also a scam i think, or at best its just paying extremely low.

I used it for 1 month ,and i couldnt earn enough to cashout. You need to watch like 500 videos to be able to cashout a small insignificant dust.

Its basically free labour.
1019  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: July 07, 2015, 12:27:33 PM
I also heard that the retail housing industry is booming in southeast asia, specifically Indonesia, Thailand and Philipines.

It might be a good investment for the guys in the retail speculation business. Unfortunately not much other investments in other countries, you have to think for long term.

I think about 40% bitcoin, 20% gold and 40% asian retail markets, is a nice savings portfolio.
countries that are growing, it requires a lot of investors. especially in terms of capital investment, and countries in Asia is being actively seeking investors to raise their state of industry sectors and other

Then they should lower the fucking taxes. Investors wont come to places with 99.9% taxes like in europe, investors prefer 2-5% taxes.

If you want to lure the fish into the bait, first you need to put an incentive there. Begging for investors wont be enough.
1020  Economy / Economics / Re: If Greece defaults on: July 07, 2015, 12:25:33 PM
Good job GREECE! Please buy Bitcoins, because the banks will loot all your money, pensions and other savings. It will be a big bank run in the next few days, but if you are smart greeks, then get your money under the pillow and buy bitcoin with it!!!!
