1001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does It takes time for market to be bull on: April 20, 2023, 05:10:38 PM
If you have any slight idea about the market and how it works, it’s just about the fact that it’s increasing in price because of the demand. If there is no demand, it will stabilize or possibly go down if there are more sellers than buyers.

Imagine having a trend or any viral video. How long do you think it stays relevant in the current situation? Not a long time, but it is a psycho, so maybe in the future, it will rise in demand again and increase in price.

The market is always a cycle.
1002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin price control by human agents or electronic technology? on: April 19, 2023, 07:46:57 AM
What I thought about with the agents are those that are in the Matrix. Agent Smith. Lol.

Anyway, It's affected by the people who have significant amounts of BTC and really affecting the market with their decision. There are a lot of factors that could be about why they chose to sell, but it's not easy to quantify. As long as people buy and Sell the crypto, it will change in price depending on the demand.
1003  Economy / Gambling / Re: LeeBet.io | $100.000 Grand Opening Event | Crypto i-Gaming on: April 18, 2023, 09:38:06 AM
It's funny to think you are posting here and still need to register on the website or make one. Are you sure you are the owner of it or something? Someone could purchase that domain and you would be out of business already.

I hoped you had made some effort to post here rather than just an image we cannot see. This is a forum and you need to input texts etc.
1004  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always hide your forum email address after registration. on: April 18, 2023, 06:15:17 AM
There are services where you could try to limit the emails that you use. What I mean by this is you are going to be using the iCloud as the tool in which you could hide email if you do not want to be public in the first place in any registration.

It is the Hide My Email function. It is really helpful for me because I want to use a single email but not completely possible lol but it helps.
1005  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex to shut its U.S operations on: April 18, 2023, 02:04:25 AM
I remember reading about it in some articles that Bittrex is on the verge of filing a case with the SEC. Thanks to the people who posted it here. I remember them as being one of the first exchanges, and I also have been with them for a time, but I don't get to trade with them anymore due to complications and trading fees.

I'm curious as to what are the things behind the exchange.
1006  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: April 18, 2023, 01:27:51 AM
Are you talking about making predictions with an AI-Language model? Are you going to train your AI to do that? Because I know the Chat-GPT stuff are not trying to let you bet right? Or is there like a work around it?

Isn't it already happening? With the metaverse making it possible for others to put bets online? Do you mean metaverse where you are in the virtual world and you have actual online "tangibility" of things all around the NFTs or something like that?
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting vs fantasy sports on: April 17, 2023, 09:16:51 AM
I haven't had that about receiving eyebrow raises. What's so "eye-brow raising" with betting on regular sports and not on fantasy sports? Fantasy sports are more complicated than usual if you know the sport a little. That would be different for everyone, for sure.
1008  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Can private key be linked to biometric identity? on: April 16, 2023, 04:32:45 PM
The idea of YOU, as a person, is the PRIVATE KEY is a great thing to do. If we can be connected to something, then we can transact with our minds, etc. Would it be the next Matrix?

Maybe in the future?
1009  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto pump and dump Schemes on: April 16, 2023, 09:51:59 AM
Many people and experienced people probably can make themselves look like a legitimate project, but in essence, it's not. Imagine the big scams that have been so big that they thought it would profit them forever, and that's just going to make them impossibly hard to fail, but it did, like the Terra scams and all the shitty projects that people lost money on.

Be careful when you are trying to join projects, and make sure to invest in what you can afford to lose.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are Meme Coins? on: April 16, 2023, 03:38:52 AM
It's a risk to invest in meme coins, and I suggest that you put money that you are willing to risk because it will be a problem if you risk everything. You need to know that you are getting into something that is not predictable and more volatile than Bitcoin because it needs to be established. Be careful with that for sure.
Most newbies that I've encountered not just in the forum but also IRL have been welcomed to meme coins, that's a far introduction for them and it's true that investing in meme coins is riskier these days because pump there is done.
That's probably the most interesting thing that they have seen aside from Bitcoin. I believe there are some pushbacks to what crypto currency is especially BTC and that might have become a kind of resort to meme coins because it is easy to relate to or something.

It's the first time I read of FMCpay. Any reviews anyone?
I haven't seen someone review them but every time they create some topics like this, they always get to have that introduction being inserted in the discussion.
Now that I have looked into the profile, I understand now. It's an advertisement. I hope someone, who tried it, would give an honest review or something.

1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can this be effective against the increasing numbers of gamblers? on: April 15, 2023, 04:51:00 PM
Quote

The Premier League have confirmed clubs have voluntarily agreed to remove gambling sponsors from the front of their matchday shirts from the start of the 2025/26 season.

This is a move to try to reduce promotion of gambling in the premier league with it's increasing audience, do you think it can successfully reduce the number of people who gamble? What do you think? Will these gambling platforms not just move to other sports, do you think other sports that wear their sponsors name in England will adopt this new development in the premier league?
I believe it's about the people getting into it and knowing that they haven't gambled in any way, and they are the ones who will be curious about what they will do when they first try gambling. A lot o people are going to see the sponsor's brand, and people are going to try it, and that's what they are trying to limit, I think. People who are into gambling don't have that much of an effect compared to the newbies regarding sponsors, so I guess it's just fair play.
1013  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't encourage multiple trading! on: April 15, 2023, 02:21:56 PM
How are you going to lose that much knowing that you could wait before anything else happens? Like holding the position so you wouldn't get the losses you are getting when you close the position unless it's always going to the stop loss limit. That's going to be a problem when you are always experiencing that. You should be able to assess what you are going to do and make sure that you don't bleed too much money.
1014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto casino sports betting for gamblers at local bookmakers. on: April 15, 2023, 11:45:04 AM
That's definitely going to be a problem with his personality, knowing that your friend is an addict and you have enabled him to do it without any consequences. I hope that, as his friend, you would be able to make sure that he is being responsible. If you have his account name or something, let the casino site know that he is a problematic gambler and needs restriction on time spent.

1016  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake Twitter trends, fake revoke.cash promoted to steal your money on: April 15, 2023, 05:38:45 AM
Be careful with following trends. It will always be a problem if you don't know what you are looking at. Many malicious and evil people lurk and automate what they do. That's why it's best to be vigilant.

Thanks for sharing OP.
1017  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I think it's time to leave Binance, any alternatives? on: April 14, 2023, 08:02:35 PM
The problem with that is having CEX as your main exchange, you are definitely going to have a problem with that. You only need to rely on DEXs to make sure that it's transparent and that you actually hold the coins in your wallet.

Is there any link between the facts that were discovered and something? I might be a little delayed with the news currently.
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You are probably a target already if... on: April 14, 2023, 02:58:56 AM
That's one thing to watch out for. It would be hard for you to make amends with yourself if you fell into this scheme and let your greed get the best of you. It's going to be a nightmare of a problem to do. With all the scamming methods, you would only be safe with yourself and have control over what you put out and what wallet you connect into.

Having that gem would be hard to get, but you should know the consequences surrounding joining airdrops.
1019  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you still advised more buy and store? on: April 13, 2023, 05:36:58 PM
It's best to have a budget first before anything else. Make sure that your debts and the necessities to live to have a budget are paid. The best thing to do is to have that direction and know that you need emergency funds to be prepared when something happens.

For starters, it's best to have that buy and store because you will never know the price in the long run. You better decide on what you want and not because somebody suggested it to you. Have your research on it and explain why you will do it in the first place.
1020  Economy / Economics / Re: Automating your savings will help you save more on: April 13, 2023, 05:03:56 PM
I do love automating stuff in my life, it makes my money work for me without me having to think about it and doing it. It's going to be like "Hey! I already have saved up this money?" What an amazing way to save up money.

I know some banks that have applications on smartphones can automate and make goals for you. That's really amazing if you think about it. Everything is easier now.
