I recently got some shit token (SHT) in airdrop which i never expected but i got it and also it was already listed in Etherdelta immediately i transferred to etherdelta for curiosity i kept some coins less than 10% for sell . After some time i got few ether i wondered really . Then after price was eventually increasing so kept all my coins for holding even some of sold Shit token (SHT) can able to manage one month expenses thanks for the team .

I started exactly year back where bitcoin price about 500$ started doing faucets and other micro earning for bitcoin in that time i dint have courage to buy bitcoin eventually i seen growth everyday i could able to get some bitcoin but not in large amount may be i dint have courage to buy one full bitcoin. RBI and IT department are still not sure that how are they going to treat bitcoin whether as an asset or currency. Considering it an asset. If you held it for period less than an year it is short term capital gain which is normally added to the income if it is held for more than an year it becomes ltcg taxable at 20% flat. Earning will be a normal income under income from other sources. But you have to pay tax on amount that you have realised to bank.
Thanks for the information even i found the same details by consulting auditor where i am giving IT returns end of the year hope it will help some of the people here . So based on my research hold bitcoin as much as we can and keep it for long term instead of withdrawing to bank account. |

This news give some more hope towards cryptoworld in china . It is far better than china ban rumour and even regularizing crypto currency is a positive sign so there will be huge decrease in scammers in future days also it will protect innocent people hard earn money . Now korea also started to regularize crypto currency. Soon all the counties come up with law.

It’s completely depend on the strategy you use to trade if your looking for long term trade then invest on high potential coin like recent bitdice CSNO or aventus kind of tokens otherwise follow pump and dump group buy and sell coin but don’t greedy with short term trade take the profit in minimum margin.

Hi may be this is too old topic if income tax is imposed for bitcoin earning how it will be calculated . I have two scenario
1) Buying bitcoin from local exchanges (zebpay , unocoin) and selling For profit to a bank account . (capital gain)
2) Giving services getting bitcoin as payment and receive all payments gathered in local exchange and send it to bank account .
How income tax will be calculated please help me any genuine answer much appreciated as soon as i am getting proper answer will lock the thread . Please dont spam here.

As far my research yes we need to pay tax while selling bitcoin from exchanges but still i am not clear about profit over capital (capital gain ) and the bitcoin earned by giving services . Lets see exchanges having my KYC end of the year will get to know about Income tax for this year. Before that i have to consult the proper auditor if my earning goes high. as far my earning is too small.

There was lots attempt already happened to destroy bitcoin but nothing changed for some time the fluctuation happened may be small dump for a month then after huge raise above 200% recent hardfork now china ban becoming stable and ready to take one more launch.
