1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice for new comers on: November 06, 2023, 01:14:42 PM
Gambling is not any means of making money. This is where the addiction start.
Gambling is fun, if you can continue to gamble responsibly.
Have a gambling budget and do not let it be more than 5% of your weekly income
Control your emotion. If you lose for the day, stop gambling. Do not be tempted.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What’s your strategy on high volatility slot game? on: November 06, 2023, 12:37:02 PM
Not all the games in casinos are for everyone to play. Do not understand me wrong, I just mean you should just choose the ones that you think that is best for you. As for me, I prefer to go for games that I believe will give me higher return with higher chances of winning. But it is casino, know that no games is not also risky, but if I see the risk not to go with the odd, I stop playing such game.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 05, 2023, 04:55:11 PM
Everybody will say yes. It would be better for casinos to even have a site that can help addicted gamblers. But should casinos be forced to sponsor sites that deal with gambling addiction? No, they can not be forced to do so.

What that is most important is for the gambling sites to have a link on their websites which will refer gamblers to sites that deals with gambling addiction.

But all these may not help until a gambler realize that gambling is just nit a way if making money.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best advice or should I just let him on: November 05, 2023, 03:19:08 PM
If you are close with the man, there are ways that you can use to approach him. You can talk about gambling with him and also talk about games that you are using to gamble and also know how much that you are gambling with. I think you have known all these already. All you have to do is to just advice him because I think you are close already, but in a polite way like you are not advising him. He will have something to talk about it, if he says it is not affecting him, just leave it be.

Know first when he started gambling, if it has been a long time like over 10 years, I do not think he needs advice. I do not think someone that has been gambling for over 10 years needs advise. But if it is not long, like a year or two years ago, you can discuss about it like not in an advice way and give your own opinion which the man can see as an advise.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your own casino. on: November 05, 2023, 09:47:19 AM
I plan this before but not global scale but rather just on my local community. We have a vacant house which we typically use to gamble with my friends u til it became popular gambling spot in the neighborhood. I plan to expand my house into a mini casino but later I stop due to the possible legal charges since my place is already exposed to the authorities due to popularity.

Although I dream about owning a casino especially online. I don’t have any skills or money to materialize this dream so I stop thinking about this long time ago and just play as regular client.
Paying tax should not be a problem. Those casinos that have license have a way of paying tax and they continue to grow, having more customers and making more money.

If possible you can give it a try, you should.

You can not compare yourself as gambler to having a gambling site. If you are a gambler, you are more likely to lose. If you have a gambling site, online or land based, you will make money, not lose.
1026  Economy / Gambling / Re: QuitGamble.com - Free Help for Problem Gamblers on: November 05, 2023, 07:59:42 AM
At least you came so real trying to solve a problem that's not solvable, not like other platforms that claim that everything that has to do with gambling is bad and as such people should stay away from it.
Did you see the URL? QuitGamble.com Which means you should quit gambling.

I have not checked your site yet, but I will do so one of these days to see the details myself, so I can recommend it to anyone who needs to get off the addiction page.
You have not checked the site and you make conclusion. I only read the introductory path which has no complete information and I may not be exactly be correct either. The introductory path does not talk about quitting though.

People that want people to quit addiction want addicted people to stop doing that thing that makes them addicted, like to stop smoking or gambling. It is better to stop than to continue to be addicted.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Out of curiosity, how much you wagered recently? on: November 05, 2023, 07:16:57 AM
I saw people wagering a lot of money, but this guy took it to some higher levels... How can we compete in some wagering wars and competitions against players who wager so much? Do we even have a chance? Smiley
I wager just little amount of money anytime that I am gambling. One thing that you should have in mind is to never follow what other people are doing because we are not rich the same in life. $500 may be the weekly earning of some people, but this may be like $1 or less in amount  of money to some other people. While some people will earn $500 or more in just every single minute. Wager with the amount of money that you can afford to lose.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Demo vs Real slots on: November 04, 2023, 01:19:30 PM
My question is, why does the demo mode seem to pay more than the real mode, and has anyone else noticed this difference?
Demo is also called the fun mode which you can just use to learn how a game is. You do not need to bother yourself why the demo mode have high chance of winning. I have not tried the demo mode before, I only go for the games that I know how to play in real life and which are also simple to play, so I do not know if what you are saying is right or wrong, but you know that demo is different from the real gambling. That is enough for us not to talk about the winning chances of both because demo mode is not gambling.
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos good or bad? on: November 03, 2023, 09:39:57 PM
I did not know that anything like this is happening on telegram before until I saw that of WSM that they have telegram casino recently before I removed myself from the group. To be sincere, I have not tried it before, I have only prefer the normal one which you will register and account and play what you want to play. I will like to see what people that have tried it will comment about it.
1030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips to Follow traders/scalpers (who use Stop Loss) on: November 03, 2023, 07:12:20 PM
There are very good traders in bitget, bingx but they dont use stop loss..I would prefer to follow traders/signals providers
who use stop loss
Avoid signal providers. I do not know of copy trading, but it is better as you follow the trades of people, unlike signal providers that you will follow nothing than the providers to find ways to earn money from you without them thinking of you winning or losing.

As for copy traders, I do not know much about it, but there is nothing that is better than learning trading yourself and use the amount of money that you can afford to lose to trade.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting online courses? on: November 03, 2023, 01:23:24 PM
There are sport betting online courses. But are they worth it? I think it is for people that gambling site would employ, not about sport betting for gamblers. If you are not working towards having a gambling site of your own or to work as an employee on a gambling site, you do not need to bother about any online courses. Just know that you are more likely to lose while gambling becuase the gambling sites set odds in a way to favour themselves than to favour gamblers.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between crypto gamblers - regular gamblers on: November 03, 2023, 12:06:15 PM
Throughout my years using cryptocurrency I've noticed that there are some differences between people that use crypto and those that might not. People using crypto are usually more aware of little details, they seek out to have more privacy and better sources of information. So that followed suit when it came for crypto to meet gambling as well.
What privacy when the gambling sites gamblers are gambling are requesting for KYC verification documents from their customers.

It was crypto casinos that popularized the notion of provably fair gambling, and now the world had access to a technology that could undeniably prove the randomness of each bet. Regular online casinos to this day avoid using this technology, and gamblers that are not aware of crypto's perks rarely ever inquire about it. This is yet another good example of a difference between crypto gamblers and regular gamblers.
The difference between crypto and fiat gambling sites is just that you will use fiat to deposit and withdraw on fiat casinos, while using cryptocurrencies as deposit and withdraw on crypto gambling sites.

Overall I think that crypto gamblers are more likely to make more educated decisions with how they handle their money overall, while regular gamblers will be easily tricked by old tricks such as deceptive bonuses in casinos and similar tricks and regular gamblers will also more easily fall victim to their own psychological tricks such as being carried away and try to bet more to win your losses etc.
More crypto gamblers may be educated but not the type of education that will let them win than non educated people. Anyone can lose while gambling.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to start betting on sports? on: November 03, 2023, 11:56:01 AM
I am thinking to start betting on sports because I think it is fair then other games and there I should be able to control my hands which I could control while playing games like dice, plinko, mines, etc.
I want to know how can i start betting on sports with good winrate, I am asking this type of question because i have no knowledge about any sports or players.
please give me some tips, strategy, resources to getting started.
Casinos have better odds than bookies.

For normal sport betting, you will need to check the statistic of last the first matches two clubs that are meeting have. You also need to know the players that they are using, if a player is not among and if he is one if the star players or the star player, the match may not favor a very strong club while playing with underdogs. You can also check some predictions sites, but do not believe in prediction sites more than 50%.

Let us hope that you will not later find out about virtual matches which is like you are gambling on a casino because the time needed for it is short and not more than 30 second. Another one are in-play which can be addicting because there are many matches that you can continue to gamble with their in-play.
1034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Must Read: Scams disguised as premium signal groups/channel on: November 03, 2023, 09:32:48 AM
Here are some basic questions we need to ask ourselves:
1. If they can help you earn so much profit they would already be ultra rich and wouldn't be spamming your inbox to join their paid group
2. Why don't they share the daily report or weekly to check their accuracy percentage
3. Why don't they make it free even on trail basis so that users can get a first hand experience and join
Signal providers are scammers and nothing more that we can call them. They only care about their pockets and not the signal they give to people. If they give signal and the person trade with it and the person lose, they are not concerned or bothered but happy because of the money the person paid them for giving him the signal. They are just fake as they are and nothing more good than to avoid them.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigerians spend $975m daily on online betting on: November 02, 2023, 03:29:05 PM
if large number of people are spending this much on betting, can we say that they relied on gambling to survive?
It should not be like that. If it is like that and they are relying on gambling, gambling sites that they are using will be very happy because they will make more money from them. I guess that most people that will be gambling among the 32% will be 80 to 95% men.

Gambling should be for fun, not a way of making money.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use multiple platforms for betting? on: November 02, 2023, 11:32:23 AM
Nah, I only used one before. I am afraid the more platforms I use the more money will come out of my pocket. Though I gamble moderately and I find it  hard for me to use multiple platforms due to the need of multiple funds as well. If it was a crypto one fees could be high.
I saw some people that posted something like this, but it is not affecting me. Maybe because I am having a separate wallet for gambling and because I only gambling during weekends. My money do not stay long on a gambling site. If I win, I will withdraw immediately for next week. I gamble just during weekends like I said and that may be the reason. So I can just deposit money on the gambling site that I want to use the following week which would be some hours or minutes to when I want to gamble on the site.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use multiple platforms for betting? on: November 02, 2023, 11:27:05 AM
When it comes to sports betting this method is used to get better opportunity or to consider the Odds on each site because when gamblers use larger amounts of money to bet the difference of just 0.2 will be very noticeable.
I do the calculation with $10000. I mean for someone to bet with $10000 and I noticed a big difference in the return if the bet is won. I did not noticed this because I bet with little amount of money. The highest bet that I have gone for using a bookie and my real money this year is $21 on a single match which was just one bet in that whole week. Other stakes that I used for betting are very low. So with that amount of money which is small, no noticeable difference.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use multiple platforms for betting? on: November 02, 2023, 09:43:17 AM
The strategy of funding accounts on multiple bookmakers is known to be used by people that want to catch the best odds when betting on sports for example. Sometimes people will monitor multiple platforms and bet when the odds allow then for a safe win. However, I am not sure if this strategy would be worth attempting when doing crypto-based betting on the sports books that offer it.
On different bookies, the odds are different but just only slightly different in a way you will consider them not different. I do not because of this have account more than one betting sites.

What are your thoughts on this? When you bet with crypto do you find it easier or harder to fund multiple accounts? Because I am getting a sense that crypto bettors are more compelled to shop around a lot more, but only until they find a bookmakers that fits their needs, and then they will hardly move any funds to other platforms. Surely thete must be some reasons behind this or even some very different takes. What are your thoughts?
You will later stick to the one or two that is best to you, the reason you are using them is because you find them better and unique. But welcome bonus is another thing that gamblers can make use to try another bookie, if it is perfect enough than the other bookies that you have been using, you will see yourself using it too and gradually leaving one of the ones that you are using before, but if not, you may get the bonus and not using the bookie again.
1039  Economy / Exchanges / Binance bitcoin wallet maintenance on: November 02, 2023, 07:25:11 AM
I do not know how long this maintenance would be, but it is happening on November 3rd at 2:00 am (UTC). I think as Binance had announced it, it is good for any Binance user on this forum to also know about it for them not to be disappointed of what we call not your key not your coin in time like this.

1040  Other / Meta / Re: How do I change my display name? on: November 02, 2023, 06:55:30 AM
According to your post history, your account is just waking up after about five years of inactivity. It is possible to have your name changed on this forum, but the chances are minimal, especially if you are inactive. I suppose you have missed a lot of the forum because you have been gone for so long. I recommend that you simply scrub this account and start a new one with the username you choose, then continue from there.
The account has no merit and just only 25 posts are yet posted with the account, leaving the account and create new one is better. But if he starts to be active and posting in a good way, theymos will later change the username for him. But I do not think if OP would be serious enough to make it work that way, so he can easily achieve that with what you suggested.
