Hello
I am maining on zpool.ca algo=equihash
among equihash of coins there is Zclassic the most profitny
But for some reason zpool maining only Hush and Komodo (if to look according to the table "Last 50 Blocks (equihash)")
tell me please, why zpool not maining Zclassic?

because there's lots of math involved in calculating what is more profitable to mine at any one given time.

research the luck factor.   Next try and wrap your head around how it chooses the next coin based on network diff and pool hashrate....  It's a tough subject to understand.

FYI: If you feel you should only be mining one coin;  you should be on a solo pool; not here.
Many thanks for an explanation!
And many thanks for you BATCH FILE  V1.08!

No problem.

There are a few algos missing from it right now;  mainly xevan, and polytimos...

If I havent been busy working in the mountains, ive been sick at home.

Hopefully Ill be able to update it shortly to be current with what the pool is running now.  I only got halfway through my new batch file;  I need to start over again.   I am trying to combine the different batch types into one whole batch;  just edit a few options up top and it will do what you want... lite, profitswitching, or manual control.   Also adding the remote batch update feature for the manual control.  This way you can remotely command the batch to download and relaunch a new version of itself;  as well as any miner apps you wish to upload to that miner.

1023  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Why all miners need to mine on a pool that pays them the tx fees. on: January 08, 2018, 10:47:28 PM
TBH I caught yobit skimming during the full-block days.

See;  When the blocks were full several months ago, They released a a statement that they would be increasing their withdraw fee to make for faster transaction times.   Totally fine with that.  They even announced it in their twitter.

Next, TX fees were lowering;  the network was less congested ~.5-1 month after the BTC/BCC fork. (or was it the BTC/BTG fork??)

I noticed when I did a withdraw from yobit;  the fees for withdraw were still over 0.0025mbtc.   When I checked the Tx for my incoming payment from them;  I noticed total TX fees were 0.0009xx.  Totally not what they said.  There were only 2 transfers in that single txid;  and I think one of the two was providing the change back to one of their wallets.

I opened a support ticket;  they said the tx fees were clearly mentioned before and there was "no problem here".

I referenced this tweet in my support ticket: https://twitter.com/yobitexchange/status/872855875299442689?lang=en
also quoting the txid that a WAY different number has been used to "speed up confirmation" which was lightyears less than what they took out to do the withdraw (they took over 0.0025)
Here's the Tx from them: https://blockchain.info/tx/76de2aa961a5a2edfcf9c81179b025ecac6195b443315b53458808294c289573

So...  they ended up silently changing their withdraw fee.  My response proving their support ticket lie;  is still un-answered.... which is.....

See;  Everyone is always tempted to steal or take a cut wherever they can.

The US government is a prime example of this standard disheartening activity.

I really highly suggest that people blow this up.... I mean, as far out as possible.    If we can stomp down the fatties;  they will feel the pains of their dishonest behavior.

Not telling the truth is dishonest.
Withholding vital pertinent information is dishonest.

We should do what we can to squeeze out as much of this in our community as possible.

No, i'm asking because i dont want to try tings....when i switch to algos, i do that efficently and very fast...i dont want to try things to figure it out in the process....

- Still dont understand why they did try to help with a command line...you would think, sure, there is help section, no way they will complicate things..... oh yes way.. why should be simple for you...

why didnt they put a simple command in the -u username
-u joe  <- confusing
-u (wallet adress od your choise of coin) -p (bunch of algos with commas , ) <- not confusing
etc...

- I mean, this is not the only pool with shit help section, as they purposely dont want to help....
(i do not like auto-switch mining-convert to btc) I just like algos in general...in this case, lyra2rev2....(verge and vert and mona)

Check my batch link.

One does round robin ("lite" batch)
The other does quick profit switching but has its drawbacks as it launches one miner instance for every algo available to it;  all at once.

browse over the code;  the most recent version has many notes in it.

for the other guy:  go troll somewhere else please.  you know who you are.  You've said your peace, and its getting rather annoying with your disinformation and incorrect assumptions.  This is the last ill reply in light to your shenanigans.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][FlexFee™][SegWit] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ on: January 08, 2018, 01:58:41 AM
I have a question about multi-algo switch mining....how the withdrawal process is executed?
There is an example with ccminer, ccminer -r 0 -a lyra2 -o stratum+tcp://lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca:4433 -u joe -p x11,x13,x14,x15,quark,lyra2

username/wallet is joe and password is algos....

So as i understand, basically , on wallet Joe (as username) ...there will be a bunch of coins alltogether as i mine.....aaaaand ...i dont  partically understand, how can it be withdrawn ? I want them in their own ticker, own currency...not in BTC. Is there a method i can mine every single profitable coin in there own Ticker and withdrawn them as such? .....

What is the .bat command?

The simplest explanation in two terms:

you are only payed in the coin of your choice.  Your username

The minder does what the pool wants it to do.

fonds cant be transferred between wallet addresses as far as I know.  Only way to prove you own that address is to sign a message from it....

Hi

I have an address with 3 d3s mining x11 coin configuration is correct c=BTC but it shows BCH and a warning

can you check for me admin?

Thanks

http://www.zpool.ca/?address=13W4vV4awjwXXSawvMmqiiCAhCCi2Nh51w

I have the same problem.  Had to stop using zpool because it thinks my addresses are BCH when I am copying them from my BTC wallet.

http://www.zpool.ca/?address=177pwS5VaCDv2zwqyZXNXU6RgpKUnH83oh

http://www.zpool.ca/?address=1QJQ1stSdUcqZgVE4nvDcbGsfum8xGLm9V

For these issues, if caught early, fixes can happen easily to correct the payout type.  Mentioning it here, or even better by going to the mainpage and clicking support at the bottom you can get it fixed relatively quickly.

Hello guys,

I want to withdraw some coins from Yobit, however, it says: Wallet status: Maintenance. Do you know how fast they will fix this issue?

Thanks
Same for me. No answer via support ticket or PM, and banned on chat just for asking the question..
They are locking the wallet on purpose!

many times there are broken wallet updates.

other times the coin keeps forking onto different chains, and there ends up being many different chains.   Its kind of a mess... especially handling that many coins and that much data.

before buying on any market, you should check the wallet status first.   If offline;  treat the tokens/coins as for use on that exchange only.
Ok I understand now. Do you have an idea when the GAIN wallet is fixed?

no clue.

For instance, they are on their own vSync chain... completely different chain that 2+ other exchanges.....  The coins my pool mines cant be traded with yobit.

NKA is an active coin;  yet the yobit one has been offline for quite some time......

its their loss in profit for it not being active, so they have incentive to fix it... but who knows _why_ its not fixed.  Only they do.

I have been due a payment since last night, I saw on fail last night now this any ideas? I am being paid in BTC

<a href="https://ibb.co/mw5uHG"><img src="https://preview.ibb.co/nMxVrb/Screenshot_2018_01_06_19_49_20.png" alt="Screenshot_2018_01_06_19_49_20" border="0"></a>

as mentioned in previous replies;  that is the frontend going offline.  payments may be suspended at some points because there is server maintenance as mentioned on twitter.

If the miners are connecting, you are getting rewarded for your work;  you just can't see the history of the data if that machine that keeps the history goes offline for one or another reason.

Ok thanks for your info!!

Have you had the "Transaction showing no tx id" and fail before?

Also how do I get my screen shots to show up in the forum rather than a link?

Yeah, when the nicecrash happened, my TX was delayed for several days to the next week.

Sometimes not showing a txid means its on the network, and not received by the network i believe.... but dont quote me on that.  Maybe it means TX prepared/attempting.

sounds like it needs to be transferred in a way that needs admin intervention (offline wallet?)

Withdrawls don't always happen right away.

I remember my first LTC wd from them taking almost a day to get posted and confirmed....  "In process" means its in the process of happening; which is not always automated and speedy.
I send LTC to bittrex account
it's been a day, this is too long to create a transaction...

I have big Butthurt from yobit And the desire to write in Roskomnadzor(russia site locker) yobit use Dice is a not legal on russia internet, all who don't connect vpn or proxy can't use half of web if have russia ip. w8 RU holidays..

To comment one last time;  do a traceroute on the yobit servers; they are not in RU.

To control is one thing.  To be in a specific place is another thing entirely.

It is a fine line.

Just be patient.  You either will have the TX happen, or get a response.  You are working on their time as well as your time....  Can't change that.

One of my friends is getting his hands on a 19-slot mobo... Funny thing is he has no idea how to set up the damn thing.

What's the latest on Windows' support for more than 8 GPUs of the same brand? Would I have to set him up a Linux distro if he wanted to run 19 GPUs on that mobo? Or is 16 doable under Win10? I wasn't recommending that mobo to him due to the major point of failure risk... but hey ho he went for it. Now I can see myself setting it up for him... Cheesy

That board needs 6 x P106 Mining card, as pre-req to work.

See full rig setup by BBT here  - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miUoqnUqk9M

He did it with Win10 - 19 x GPUs

Where do you source P106 cards? What is their equivalent?  I haven't read much on them, but it seems they are becoming pretty prevalent.....  I have this V1.0 D8P board, and I plan to use windows [hopefully];  so having two different types of devices may work for me being able to populate all 12 PCIE slots.

added c=BTC with the same result.  x11=0.5,x13=0.5,x14=0.5,quark=0.5,qubit=0.5 c=BTC
http://www.zpool.ca/site/multialgo also no c=
as worked before? the settings of Baikal did not change
try this, you omitted a comma:
c=BTC,x11=0.5,x13=0.5,x14=0.5,quark=0.5,qubit=0.5

But;  this was only a guess....  No manual diff.  That is good.

try the corrected password without the space as I have it shown.  Worth a try.

might want to try a traceroute to the server;  see if there's an actual communication error of some sort.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Happy New Years! Seventh alt coin thread! on: January 05, 2018, 09:16:26 AM
I love SSDs and installed probably 40 of them last year for customers in my IT business.  And, my first two rigs have them.  But, the two new ones I'm working on I'm throwing in some used laptop hard drives simply because I have those on hand and don't have any SSDs in stock.  So other than a little bit of boot speed and shaving off a few watts of power consumption, is there any reason why SSDs are so popular in mining rigs?

Virtual Memory (pagefile) is used a lot by the GPU's so its nice to have an SSD which provides considerable access speeds over traditional drives.  Also they are less bulky and last longer.  A lot of people use thumb drives as well, but I don't think they are meant for the heavy read/writes from pagefile use.  This of course applies only to windows.

Usually no real pagefile using occurs, I check actual HDD access via hardware monitor. All that is needed is ability to allocate huge pagefile when starting certain miners in windows. So no way it justify additional investments to SSD. The only case when SSD may be useful is windows-based multi algo switching rig aimed to hunt short surges of shitcoin profitability using extremely short switching timeframe. Though no harm to use SSD provided additional money are free :-)
I've been using spinning disks I had around for my last builds. Today I built one with an SSD and wow, what a difference (Windows). It may not mine faster, but I saved hours of tedious waiting.

This is why an older 64Gb SSD is worth the ~$30.  craigslist is a great place to get em, just make sure you bring a USB adapter, and do a check on it's SMART status;  see if its begin to disable memory spaces at all.....  usually they are right as rain.

Just dont use a SSD for holding massive files that get re-written or overwritten a bunch.  I have a graveyard of SSD boards that I have lost due to large-file handling.

post your stratum link..... is it missing the subdomain "xxxx"......(xxxx.mine.zpool.ca:yyyy)?
http://prntscr.com/hwadfn

missing c= segment from your password?  or is it at the end?

I know the missing c= segment is causing lots of unnecessary problems for people not inputting it, so maybe stratum is now configured to reject connections that dont have it?

That would be a first guess.  Worth a try.

X15 is no longer an available algo;  you should remove it and references to it in the passwords....  It will save time for the baikal's algo swapping to the next wanted algo.

do you have a manual difficulty set?
