1021  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Shilling service on: June 05, 2023, 01:31:42 PM
It is difficult to find Services except you come on here. I am looking for a shilling manager for my project. Our offer depends on your team size and our payment is flexible $50 - $100 each 24 hours. We will pay advance before start of work every 24 hours. Dm me on bitcoin talk with existing works

What do you mean by shilling service? Shilling service is more sort of spamming service, and it will not help your project in the long term.

If you are really interested to promote your service on this forum, then my recommendation is that first you should make and publish an ANN on the relevant section of the forum. Then you may start a signature campaign for your project. It will be sustainable marketing and your project will get good coverage.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: June 03, 2023, 11:17:51 AM
It's just as you have stated, there is no perfect strategy in gambling and anyone claiming such is either a scameer or a lier with dubious motives.

The list you have provided could help reduce losses to some certain extent and not completely ( which is stillfar better than lossing all the time) while 7, 10 and 11 can  help us avoid becoming addicted to gambling I think I have mentioned these point before in some of my post concerning the things I observe hat has made me escape becoming addicted to gambling.

All of them are great tips, but I think no 6 could be modifed to make it more clear because someone could interprete as gamblers should have enough money so that they can gamble more, you could use "use spare or money you can afford to lose" that sounds better and it's also moe self-explanatory.

The list of advices provided by the OP are enough for any gambler to avoid losses and become addicted to gambling but at the same time enjoy gambling and make a steady income from it. There could not be any more rules or "things to do" in gambling, other than the ones listed above.

However, the major issue is that very few of people remain on track and keep these things in mind while gambling. Yes, there may be 90% of the gamblers who know about these things already but when they play and gamble, they get over exicted by their emotions and only 30% of the gamblers may follow these rules.

This is a gambling strategy not to become a compulsive gambler the bottom line of all these points is protecting yourself from not betting what you can afford to lose and not chasing your losses, you can only do these two things because the fact remains that there is no proven strategy to become better in gambling and beat the house, all strategies are all about protecting yourself from becoming a compulsive gambler.
As long as you are a responsible gambler and you remain that way, you are good to go with whatever strategy you are using or following.

Well, all of these things will help you minimize your losses, They will never guarantee that you will win a lot of money in gambling if you follow these strategies.  Winning in gambling is only by luck and there is no strategy that can make you lucky.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: $90,000 all in bet on: June 03, 2023, 10:19:33 AM

UPDATE: A MISSED PENALTY AND A LOSS. BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD.

You have lost the bet, right ?

Oh my god, what have you done? Lost a 90,000$ in a single bet. You first turned 4000$ into 90,000$ which was a big achievement but then what makes you think that you can win every bet and go all in  Huh

This is one of the most stupid things to do in gambling, that is going all in. You have just ruined your winnings. I understand that you may have got overconfident, by your winnings, but does this mean that you will always win all the bets? Does it mean that you will never lose any money in gambling?

If you were too confident, you could have gone with 4000$ but going in a bet with 90K, is not the right thing for any sensible person. I would call you a gambling addict and you need to consult a phycologist otherwise you may keep on taking these insane decisions in your life and end up losing everything.

I do hope that you have a lot of money and this loss does not matter to you, but if I was at your place, and lost 90K, i would have done suicide by now. This is a life changing money for many people which you just throw away in the bet.

He is going back to drawing board to turn another 4k to 100k and then he will go ahead and blow the 100k.

What is the guarantee that he will again convert 4000$ in a big amount? He might have been lucky the first time but may never be so lucky ever again. Such incidents in life do not come often and I am afraid he has done the biggest mistake in his life by throwing away 90K in a bet. If he again makes 100K and throws it away, then what can i say  Huh
1024  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔴Your Guide to Registering at ⚡ Vave.com ⚡ Crypto Casino 🔴 100 Free Spins*🔴 on: June 03, 2023, 08:17:33 AM
As I wrote earlier, but it seems it was moderated out (?) - this is incorrect. My withdrawal request is pending for a WEEK now, and nothing happened with it, and no communication from your end whatsoever.

Hi,I'd withdrawn for 3 days but stil pending
Can you help me with this?
https://imgur.com/a/Y6Kq1Gi

What is happening here ? Why are these people complaining about withdrawal? Vave is a relatively new gambling site having their ANN on bitcointalk and these things won't do any good to them. Either they need to fix these people's issue quickly or make sure no such withdrawals are wrongly held by the site.

Majority of conversations between us and players are being kept private as we believe in privacy.

I fully understand and respect this but those people who are complaining here, you should bring all the evidence here to proof either you are right or resolve their issues if they are right. If you do not respond or bring matter here who complain here, it will not give a good impression to your casino and it seems as if you are more sort of ignoring them.

this might be a late greeting but welcome to the forum! btw, your casino ad on youtube has plagued my youtube ad algorithm for more than a week, just so you know if your gambling site plans to further its exposure here on the forum, you can run a signature campaign here, there are very trusted campaign manager that you can hire to run the campaign smoothly.

Sooner or later they will realize that Signature campaigns are the best and only way to promote their business here. I hope that they have this in their plan and have allocated some budget for their promotion and marketing needs.
1025  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: P2P Scams : Where does the government stand on: June 03, 2023, 05:45:29 AM
Recently Binance did a P2P scam awareness session with our local community which was very informative.

The recording can be watched here   https://www.binance.com/en/live/video?roomId=2138115

This recording is not in English so it may not be useful for many of us. Perhaps you can pinpoint important things which you learned from this session, and it will be helpful for all of us.

I have made hundreds, if not thousands of p2p trades but never at any one moment did a scammer take any money from me. Of course once in a while, you will get those people that will try to scam you but if you follow all the p2p trading rules to the book, they will not have a single chance even during the appealing process.

Since you have done many P2P successful transactions, you're experienced and therefore you may not get scammed easily but as far as i know there are many newbies who get scammed because of fake transaction screenshots or by third party transactions and so on. If you follow the process with due diligence, i am sure it will be hard for the scammers to scam us through P2P.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A long term investor here, thinking about adding RoLLBit Token on: June 02, 2023, 11:59:14 PM

I have not gambled on Rollbit before and I want to ask if there is anything adding extra value to Rollbit token, anyone using this platform should please drop a feedback, is the token been used on the platform itself for gambling? Or it has benefits if gamblers use the token to gble instead of using Bitcoin?

I don't have RLB but I do have BFG and comparing the two it seems RLB is performing better than BFG.

Two things that you can consider are their long-term marketing which can really make an impact on the performance of the token in the market and how they address issues like complaints in the scam section.
I consider casino-based token worth including in your portfolio, especially if they have long-term marketing and their platform is performing well in the community they serve or target.

RLB is a token of https://rollbit.com/ casino site and it is worth $0.025 at the moment. BFG is a token of https://betfury.io/ casino site and it is worth $0.015 right now. The first thing which make one casino token more worthy than the other is the casino site itself. Rollbit is a much popular site as compare to betfury and therefore you should expect the RLB token to perform better than the BFG token.

Also we need to see the Tokenomics as how much is the Total and Circulating Supply, locked token if any, token burning etc, all these things have an impact on how a token performs in the long term.

Having a casino token in Long term investment is a good idea because that token has a use case and is more likely to be more worthy as the casino grows. This is same like crypto exchange token, the more the exchange is popular, the more its token gain its worth.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trust Wallet on: June 02, 2023, 11:34:31 PM
Hello all, looking for some help. I opened a TRUST wallet account some time ago and transferred USDT from Crypto Exchange. I then was automatically placed in staking activities. At the end of staking, upon trying to return my funds to my wallet, I was notified by customer service I have to pay 62,000+ USDT in capital gains taxes (I am based in Chicago). They are now holding my funds until I pay this tax. I currently have about 315,000 USDT in this wallet. Is this standard practice? I don't have these funds to pay the taxes and my funds will be frozen soon. I can't get a loan for this amount. Is there anything I can do?

I just do not understand how can this happen in a trust wallet because it is decentralized and no one can ask you to pay taxes in order to withdraw your funds from the trust wallet ? Or maybe you are saying that all this is being asked by a crypto exchange Huh If so, then you have deposited in a scam exchange unfortunately. (by the way as far as i know crypto.com is not a scam exchange, there must be something wrong )

Harsh, but true. lol. I've attached a link after searching my address on Etherscan. https://imgur.com/a/Sq1uPNV. This means I'm officially screwed right?

If you see the screenshot, you have highlighted the fake phishing transactions which clearly shows that you have connected your trust wallet with a scam site and lost your funds. There is nothing anyone can do and also its not the trust wallet fault that you connect your wallet with untrusted sites and get scammed.
1028  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign post quota on: June 02, 2023, 11:13:14 PM

Expected to see like that on a campaign where the manager doesn't have any intention to create quality campaign since there main intention is to spam the forum and make their signature visible on any section of this forum.

1xbit joiners doesn't afraid to do that since they  don't lose anything since there reputation is ruined already. So the only thing we can do about that case is to report the post if we see it as spam so that moderators can notice and delete those post.

1xbit if you check their spreadsheet cannot get reputable and prominent posters because no prominent posters would like to associate themselves with scammers, so many 1xbit are spammers, and many of them become active for 1xbit but when there's no 1xbit campaign they are inactive, 1xbit participants' accounts are disposable, although their rewards is very tempted but their campaign is seasonal.
Going back to the signature campaign quota for very active posters numbers do not matter he'll just post not to meet requirements but he based it on the discussion that he can take part in, and with many new topics popping up he can always hit the quota or even exceed the required number.

Well, if you compare all the campaigns, you will find that the participants of 1xbit are mostly spammers and also they do not care about their posting habits neither they want to improve them because they know that they won't be accepted in any other campaign, so why make the effort to make constructive posts.

It goes with the habit if you're posting 30 to 40 posts a week without a banner attached to your profile then you get into a campaign that asks you to post 20 posts a week you will not think of the numbers and will prefer to continue what you love doing and have been doing, but if you're a lazy poster and suddenly you're in a 20 posts campaign, you'll struggle to keep up with the numbers.

Making 20 posts a week is a fair requirement and anyone who is active on the forum can easily make these number of posts. If anyone cannot even make 20 post a week, then I am afraid he should not be in a signature campaign, as the campaign requires active members and not the ones who feel burden making the posts.
1029  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New to Bitcointalk and have questions about a future service on: June 02, 2023, 11:34:58 AM
I've been lurking on here for awhile now and would like to offer an IPTV service, Ive seen other people post IPTV services in the past and want to make sure thats ok. I hope this is the correct place to post this, but If a moderator from the Services topic could let me know that would be amazing  Smiley
There are many who provide this type of service on the forum, and as long as the source of these subscriptions is legitimate and not in the form of a trial version, there are no problems in managing this service here on the forum with a slight difference in choosing the section ; because if you want to accept payments in full or partially in bitcoin, the "Services" section is the right place. If you intend to accept payments in alternative currencies (altcoins), the Altcin section is appropriate. And in all cases, you can publish two topics in the two sections mentioned.

Op has already started givig services in Digtial goods section 📺#1 IPTV SERVICE🎬 AIO STREAMING ⭐LIVE TV ⭐PPV🔥MOVIES🔥SHOW🔥SPORTS🔥ETC.

That thread is almost 20 days old and I do not see anyone taking much interest in this service, probably because there are a few other IPTV services already running on this forum that offer almost similar rates. Since OP is new here, he needs to give big discounts and cheap rates in order to compete for the IPTV service offerings.

1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which New Technology will be adopted by the Gambling Industry? on: June 01, 2023, 03:58:31 PM
VR isn't new and to my best of knowledge it exists even before a decade so it's kind of old and the modern version of VR is the metaverse which might bring a change to the whole online community not just only the gambling industry and AI can be adopted as well so whatever the technology arrives and if the business demands it then just adapt it. AI gambling doesn't sound good to me so I'll go with VR or anything better than it.

How about combining AI with VR technology? This may produce mind-blowing results which maybe we can imagine at the moment.
Also, I understand that VR is more attractive, but we cannot ignore artificial intelligence completely.

Right now, it is difficult to comprehend how the AI can be beneficial for the gambling industry but then i am sure the gambling industry must be thinking on these terms, and then those casinos that will be pioneers to integrate AI in their casino, will surely lead the gambling industry.
1032  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 01, 2023, 03:34:08 PM
People will say KYC isn't safe, but we all know they're lying because they've submitted KYC on various platforms.

No, they are not lying, KYC is not safe at any site but yes everyone do KYC including myself because we have no choice. If i want to gamble at a good reputed site, i have no option but to perform the KYC. If I don't do KYC, I would be left with very limited choices and in most case, it would be like I end up playing at some scam site and lose all my money.

We just do not have the option to go with NO-KYC thing as yet. Right now we have no option but to accept the fact that KYC is mandatory for gambling.

If people really care with their privacy, they must be not sign in any centralized platforms including centralized exchange e.g. Binance. Submitting KYC on Binance is similar like you submitting your KYC on a centralized casino, you wouldn't know what they will do with your KYC.

Well, if you do not sign up at binance, the most trusted exchange, then you won't be doing the trading. Same goes for the gambling sites. You want to play at good gambling sites and therefore you have to do the KYC. Even these reputed sites can misuse our KYC data but as i said, we don't have a choice, do we  Roll Eyes
1033  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto criminal activities. on: May 31, 2023, 11:37:58 PM
I see the effort of creating the thread, but there are 2 important things you need to empathize :
1. All those criminal activities are exist before cryptocurrency exist and can be done with fiat
2. Blockchain offer some privacy by default, but it doesn't offer anonymity (unless you coin such as Monero), but only pseudonymity. Additionally government could track someone's coin easily.
Thank you for appreciating and correcting some information, the information above is a little bit altered. Those criminal activities are already active in real life, there are many people who do that thing just to have some money and these activities increases because of the cryptocurrency, I already experienced some of them, especially the Ponzi scheme, wherein I lost my money because I trust the website and I don't have that good knowledge before to identify whethere it is legit or not.

You are right that because of crypto, illegal activities have increased a lot as compared to the time when there was no crypto. The scammer did exist even before the existence of cryptocurrencies but now it is easy to scam people mainly due to two reasons. First, the crypto is easily transferable anywhere so the scammer now targets people worldwide and is not limited to certain regions or areas.

Secondly, since everyone can access crypto at any time, the audience to whom the scammer can target also has increased. Previously only a few people could access and transfer money online through credit cards but now due to crypto everyone can transfer money worldwide.
1034  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Unstoppable wallet {User experiences} on: May 31, 2023, 04:19:22 PM
This is one of the recommended wallets that is good to use because so far I have not had any problems with it. It provides good things when it comes to users who also use it.

As in affordability, security, censorship resistance and privacy too. So this unstoppable wallet is okay with me
and one of the great options as well.

For users who are using a Trust Wallet, I would recommend switching to the unstoppable wallet. I am not saying tha there is any issue with trust wallet but it's hard to trust 100% on trust wallet 1) because it is closed source and 2) It is owned by Binance and i don't feel comfortable with it.

Previously I was using Trust Wallet for altcoins storage but now i have migrated the majority of my coins from trust wallet to unstoppable wallet. In case, you can afford a hardware wallet, that's best but until you do not have hardware wallet, keep Unstoppable Wallet as your daily driver.
1035  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which best for long term investment? Hardware wallet or Software wallet . on: May 31, 2023, 03:30:51 PM
Hardware wallet, it gives unparalleled peace of mind compared to software wallets. But then again, it will take away 1 part of your holding if you were to buy it right now. So stick to software wallet like muun for time being, once savings are grown enough, purchase HW.

This is another important thing that for most people software wallets may fulfill the purpose as they do not have a lot of funds.
Let's suppose you are a beginner and newbie in a Bitcoin world, there is no need to possess a hardware wallet right from day 1. Better get an understanding of different wallets and you will be able to choose the right one according to your needs.

You are correct that you do not need a hardware wallet to hold BTC offline and securely, but hardware wallets is easier for newbies to use, they can learn how to create their own air-gapped wallet or use paper wallet, but there is a possibility that they will make a mistake and set it up or use it in an unsafe enviroment.

First of all, whether you use hardware, software, air-gapped or whatever wallet, you need to have an understanding of it completely. When you say that hardware wallets are easy to use for newbies, the newbies must know how to use a hardware wallet and how to keep it secure. Lack of knowledge can still result in loss of funds even if a person has a hardware wallet.
1036  Economy / Services / Re: Need a paypal account. on: May 31, 2023, 03:07:46 PM
Firstly based on the new compliance laws that came into play in 2022 just about every US platform that deal with payments will now verify that the tax information provided can be verified and submitted to the IRS before they allow you to process payments. Since the reporting threshold has been lowered from $20,000 to $600, platforms like Paypal can no longer allow accounts to accept thousands of dollars of payments before confirming that they can actually submit a W9 to the IRS.
It is a piece of very bad news for those who are non-us users but operate USA Paypal accounts. Thank you for the information about the update of them. I wanted to withdraw my freelance income to Paypal and then wanted to convert Paypal to crypto. That could be easiest and safest way to increase my crypto holdings.

Buying a paypal account from unknown persons will have risks and i would not recommend to you specially how the new rules operate.

I would suggest instead of buying a PayPal account, try to find a trusted friend or relative who live in the US and you may use his account.
He will get the earnings in his paypal account and then you may ask him to transfer you the money in any form whether it be in the US dollar or in bitcoin.
1037  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 31, 2023, 02:11:01 PM
Totally done with Stake. The Bonuses getting really really bad recently. It also seems that I can‘t win anything anymore. The originals definitely changed since the last year, it become almost impossible to get a good green streak or hit a big multiplier. Better save your btc than try your luck on Stake, you will definitely lose….

Really I do not understand your complaint. If you are not able to win at stake, this does not mean that there is something wrong with the stake. It is because you are having a bad time and bad luck. Do you blame your losses on the gambling site? Yes, you may switch the site if you do not feel comfortable playing here but if the bad luck is with you at the moment, you are going to lose on any site you play.

-snip-
You are on "Asia"

I guess the problem only for "Asia" regions, and because of that they are not gonna to put the site into maintenance mode, You know about 'Stake'. User are gonna to getting mad even only maintenance like 10-20 mins.

They can solved it without turn off/MT the site, I guess.

Taking the site down is not a problem if the site informs its users beforehand. If you put the site offline for any purpose, without telling the gamblers, they will defiantly complain. A site as popular as Stake even an uninformed downtime is not acceptable. Stkae.com should inform its users about each and every planned maintenance and downtime.
Do expect that the gamblers will complain even if they find the site offline even for 5 minutes.
1038  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: May 30, 2023, 06:33:43 PM
Almost every gambler including me made this mistake once at the very least. It's primarily because of the adrenaline rush to try and earn back your losses basically.
Sure sometimes we aren't able to control ourselves and are eager to bet more in order to recover our loss or say have rush to win atleast once when we are too much engaged in gambling at the time. But it's all fine until we are not going over limits too much and it's becoming more of a habit because it can lead to addiction.

When you are in the mood to gamble more in order to recover your losses, it already means that you are becoming addicted to gambling. The sad or strange part of gambling addiction is that you never realize that you are addicted to gambling. It is your family or your near or dear ones who will tell you that you are playing gambling too much or you are moving to a level where you are giving too much extra time to your gambling activities.

Well, I think it couldn't have been said better, it's obvious that everything is in a beta stage, but I'm curious about ChatGPT-4, everyone wants to buy it and everyone speaks wonders, the bad thing about being in a restricted country is that you don't know You can not enjoy these benefits or the previous chatgpt, for this reason there is no other choice than to try to find ways for people who interact with chatgpt through videos , like YouTube is where I can see what AI is like, However, I think that chatgpt4 is not as advanced as everyone paints it, as for the Detectors, I think they really need to work on it, I don't Really Trust it, it's difficult.

I know that chatGPT is the most talked about application and AI tool but what it has to do with gambling and Roobet in particular? I think chatGPT have no role in gambling but still, some of the gambling sites (Not Roobet) are trying to integrate AI into their gambling site only to the extent of marketing. In reality, they may have done nothing extraordinary but they use these terms only to attract the gamblers.
I would prefer sites that do not use fancy words only to get the hype and promotion of their sites.
1039  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: May 30, 2023, 06:12:43 PM
I think the KYC data is safe on trusted gambling sites because they will use that data for knowing the customer rather than sharing it with other groups or other sites. The KYC is mostly needed for the safety purposes because the sites don't want to be flooded by the army of bots, and that's why they verify the customer originality. Unfortunately, these days people have been generating very original faces with the help of AI.

First of all, KYC is not safe both on trusted and non trusted gambling sites. Yes, we know that our data is more vulnerable on non -trusted new gambling sites but what is the grantee that the old trusted gambling site will secure our KYC data. Apart from the leakage of data, there can be situation where the casino or the employee of casino may misuse the data and we would never know about it.

Secondly with the help of AI, you may develop original faces but it will be hard to produce all the fake documents with AI. Secondly the casino needs to become smart these days. Instead of making gamblers to upload their pictures why not force them to take their online picture by taking real time picture from camera. This way, the use of AI will be almost impossible to produce a live fake picture or video.

The only time  KYC data can be compromised when the hackers get access to the database of the website, and they successfully dump that database into their own hard drive. That way the KYC details will be known by third parties because those hackers might sell the database for money. But, that doesn't mean that all sites can be compromised because most of the trusted sites have good security to stop such hackers from hacking their databases.

Hacking is another thing and if the database of KYC is hacked, there is nothing we may do but at least the gambling site will publish the news of this hack and we will be mentally aware that our data is hacked, and we should be cautions. However, in case casino keep selling our data to the third party without our knowledge there is nothing we can do about this.
1040  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Why Coinmarketcap and Coingecko help scammers ? on: May 30, 2023, 05:50:43 PM
One of the biggest and well veiled scammer exchanges is Bibox, when peoples can't take their deposits from December 22. I find on the internet some dozen posts about it on different platforms. But Coinmarketcap and Coingecko think what this phrase: "We have received multiple reports from users being unable to withdraw funds from Bibox. Please exercise caution. "which you can see in exchange description enough for disclaimer and continue place quotes of scammers. I don't think so. They undermine confidence in the crypto industry.

Bibox exchange has been running since 2017 and i have heard it through some of the YouTubers who promoted this exchange. (https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges/bibox). Although I never deposited at this exchange.

However, both Coingecko and Coinmarketcap have warned their viewers that if they use bibox, they may face issues. So why do you call both of these sites not doing their job of giving the right awareness about the exchange?

Since the bibox exchange do exist, they can't just remove it from their listing and even if they do, then how will people know that there are ongoing issues with this exchange. Atleast now if anyone searches bibox, he will immediately know to stay away from this exchange.
