10221  Other / Serious discussion / Re: 10 habits to maintain good health on: August 25, 2020, 07:36:12 PM
in the UK a Mcdonalds costs £4

yet i can buy cucumber, lettuce, tomato. and farmfresh meat to make a burger. for under £1.50
so i can make a healthier alternative to mcdonalds for half the price

its never price. its actually time and effort
many people just want to tap an app and order fast food and never leave the sofa for 45minutes until the door bell rings.
the thought of spending 25 minutes preparing a meal which means they can eat sooner and cheaper never enters their mind.

the first step is to get people to 'batch make' their meals. make 5 days of meals in one go it takes 35 minutes to prepare 5 days of food compared instead of 25 minutes for one meal

then each day, its just reheating it. which can be just 2-5minutes in a microwave

once you get into a habit of prepping healthier food and realising that its not taking you away from the sofa as much. then you see the true price you were paying for the convenience of fast food
10222  Other / Serious discussion / Re: I'm seriously concerned about the money being stuffed down the vaccine toilet. on: August 25, 2020, 07:25:57 PM
(oops did you not know the bible abolished gays and marriage outside of wedlock purely due to STI epidemics)

Grin lol but I have a different view to why the bible frowns at gay marriage.

1. Because it doesn't lead to procreation. Meaning a man can not impregnate a follow man by ejaculation, neither would a woman be able to do so too.

2. God created all animal in male and female for purpose of procreation and sexual satisfaction.

3. It is immoral and not biblical because in creation, God created male and female and mandated them to be fruitful. Genesis 1: 27-28

no. humans created the ancient lawbook known as the bible. but wrote it into nice camp fire stories that are rememberable and have some moral story attached to explain why.
if humans just wanted procreation then rapes would not be treated as a bad thing. sex outside of marriage would be acceptable too

humans created these rules to create a civilisation. but because previous religions where people followed actual humans proclaiming to be gods (egyptians) this time the rule makers made up a 'god' that no one can see or question or rebel against so that the human rule makers cant be attacked because 'dont kill the messenger' and instead to treat the messenger well by feeding them clothing them and giving them anything they ask for..
kinda funny how many people have not figured this out

take bitcoin. mystery man making something great that cant be attacked gets success in something that lasts
another person that makes an altcoin gets constant abuse and attacks

but anyway
its not about just procreation. its about survival of the species by staying away from things that can lead to harm
10223  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Blockchain would be a great application for vaccination records. on: August 25, 2020, 01:57:53 PM
first of all vaccines do not edit the immune system
immunosuppressant medication does... such as HCQ

vaccines are just a less lethal variant of the virus. and it just makes the immune system to what the immune system usually does when it see's something it doesnt like... create antibodies
we are not in the 1960's of monkey kidneys and mercury that lingers for years. so dont be so obsessed about the out-dated myths of the adjuncts

here is a hint
you are more likely to get harmed from trying to dry hump a stranger simply because you seen them cough. than you are to suffer harm from a vaccine
..

however. having medical records on a blockchain would be advantageous. firstly instead of the current setup which has several copies of records distributed at different locations. those records are not automatically backing up and updating and securing themselves to ensure no edits/errors have occured.

by having blockchains the record hashes can be checked against each other to ensure not only whats their is accurate. but also know whats not been included and then include it. all without administrators

this however doesnt mean that records are transparent. as the 'client' software to read the blockchain will probably have some user access restriction levels. and only the medical profession can use it.
but atleast having medical records backed up and updated cheaper/faster makes it easy to then have a hospital access the records if you had to go hospital in a place no where near your home
(old system had to request data from your local regions record centre)

they say its fake and the government is stepping in too much
they get sick
they say its real and the government didnt do enough to stop it at the beginning

This sums it up pretty good. As long as everything is alright people are just focused on them self's and their own family. But once infected with corona everything changes. That's probably also why so many people fight against the safety procedures like wearing masks or social distancing. If we would all think more about the good for everyone and follow rules, corona wouldn't be so serious.

i totally get it. people dont like wearing seatbelts in cars and they prefer to text while they drive because it saves time. but when these idiots then claim car accidents dont exist as their lame excuse not to think about their own safety while driving or the other road uses they come near.. is more idiotic then their own lack of self care

i totally get that people dont like to chargrill their beef and prefer it raw. but there is a difference between a personal choice to risk stomach aches due to food poisoning. vs being an idiot trying to claim bacteria doesnt exist as their excuse to never cook meat

i totally get it. not wanting to wear protection whie having sex. but being an idiot pretending sexually transmitted diseases or pregnancies dont exist just so you can have sex without a condom is just foolish
if you think saying 'dont worry you wont get pregnant' is the excuse to ride bareback. your an idiot

i totally get that some idiots want to take risks and not care about consequences to themselves or others. but can they atleast understand there is a risk to many things in life including viruses. and then just announce that they personally are an idiot that doesnt care about risks. then they can get on with their life and people can learn who to stay away from and be aware of

and yet badecker himself said the way to prove that things are done proper is if they pass the koch, rivers and bell psotulums/tests.. and they did
so debunking badeckers mindless thoughts yet again.
mindless because i already debunked his rationale of how the tests are faulty ages ago, but he seemed to have forgot

but it seems now badecker wants to think millions of people are on some conspiracy script where they all know about it. where it is somehow the delivery drivers of the samples from the test centre to the labs that are some nefarious group of people around the world tainting samples

sorry but to arrange such an elaborate conspiracy of so many people around the world is not even logical

I do not intend to change his opinion or anything, more like understand it. I saw his posts and thought he is trolling; but looks as if he is fully committed to the ideas he espouses; it astonishes me for he sounds logical; but fails to account for anything tht doesn't subscribe to his views. I just wanna know HOW?

he has no logic. and flip flops all the time so he is not even committed to the idea's he espouses

to me he just has a list of cultish conspiracy sites and he just opies and pastes whatever story he read and for a few days jumps in to defend that story, untill a new story pops up and he jumps into that one even if the first one is the counter argument to it.

in the last 5 months he has not shown any single minded thought that has had merit or and resemblance to sticking to one narrative. he has gone back and forth too much.
10229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is SegWit and LN adoption still low today? on: August 24, 2020, 10:20:46 AM
With LN, sure we're in the early days still. There was another layer 2 idea floated recently called Coin Pools, anyone see that? Sounded interesting, still didn't check the detailed information about it.

if your talking about taproot 'payment pools' well thats what the 'factories' in LN will be using
not to pay out to individuals. but to get individuals to deposit funds into this custodian(pool) and then the custodian uses taproot so that when the timelocks expire they can settle the channels. broadcast the taproot contract on the blockchain, and create new channels all without revealing the individual amounts each holder has on the blockchain

the issue is these contracts are very bloaty. and gmax knows this which is why he wanted to extend the 'witness' area so much(pretending 4m is still 1mb cludgy code)

the stupid thing is if a user just wants out. and is unco-operative with the 'pool' then the hidden funds get untangled and all is revealed for that user to claim whats theirs independantly.

so the whole purpose is to keep funds in and just using the blockchain to close-reopen channels.
meaning its only a success if people never want out.

talk with the devs is to offer people alternate currencies like LTC as their 'get out' so that it does not harm the taproot contract of hiding the true individual values

other devs are thinking of this factory/payment pool concept for their own private 'reserve banking' between exchanges and not on the main LN.

but payment/coin pools have been a idea(factories) for a while now and its this kinda crap where the individuals become relient on pool/factory managers/custodians. while also turning the blockchain into an unaudible cludge of misrepresented data. that will harm bitcoin

10232  Other / Politics & Society / Re: History: Spanish flu, Over 50 million death. on: August 23, 2020, 02:22:12 AM
The Spanish flu had an inflated death rate because there wasn't modern medicine. If COVID-19 didn't have mitigation efforts supported by modern technology and medicine, you can guarantee you'd see millions dead before herd immunity kicked in.
Although, you are right. But the point is that Spanish flu killed people more than covid-19 and is still regarded as the deadiest pandemic disease as of today. Also, what I am just trying to drive out is for governments to stringently focus on how disease outbreak can be prevented before resulting into pandemic disease. It has happened in the past, it is happening now, and there are possibilities of disease pandemic period in the future. That, this should be a lesson towards pandemic disease avoidance.

stats say out of 1000 tested positive(mild symptoms) 4000 to 9000 without symptoms
stats say out of 1000 tested positive(mild symptoms) 100 need hospital care

so out of 5k to 10k 100 need hospital care 1-2%
without hospitals the death rate would be 1-2%(70m-140m world pop in a non healthcare world)
..
luckily we have a healthcare system so numbers are better than this
so if you factor in the healthcare where there are low case numbers going to hospital meaning they can be treated efficiently and given all the care they need the rate of death is about 3 out of 100 hospitalisations
3 of 5-10k(0.03%-0.06%)

however at the peak of patient admissions where they were turning away mild patients to prioritise the severe the was a death rate of 30 out of 100(0.3%-0.6% of 5k-10k)

so having too many sick at any one time can cause less people to be treated early. thus more deaths, and also more deaths indirectly from those not with covid, but other illnesses that wont get treatment while doctors are concentrating on covid patients

meaning if there is a 1-2% hospitalisation rate. but only a 0.02% bed capacity rate covid(0.18% other care)
for each million people with only 200 beds available
you can only have 200 in hospital for 2 weeks =10k-20k spread a fortnight

trying to keep a stable spread of only 200 hospitalisations is tough because natural spread is exponential not stable/flat

using the weekly spread numbers, thus only having 100 bed circulation a week
EG low figures(10k infect 100 hospital(1%)) and the R0 rate of 3
spread: 50   150    450     1350    4050    12,150
hospitl:  1      1       4         13        40        121
deaths:  0      0       0          1         2          24*

*3 death out of 100 even with treatment and 21 death due to not having a bed so dying without treatment

10k a week/m spread=100 weeks for 'full population'=2 years.
but trying to keep it to 10k spread to only have 100 hospitalisations to only have 3 deaths. not easy
as you can see by haw easy the r0 can cause more than 10k, thus more than 100 beds thus more than 3 deaths very quickly

....
anyway governments mistakes were 2 things
1. when china closed its flights but many countries actually organised their own repatriation flights to bring people from china back to their home country
2. when they started getting cases in other countries they didnt isolate those people. they only reacted once it started affecting the limitations of hospital capacity

some countries like thailand closed itself off when it has less than 50 symptomatic cases(weeks before the west). and yep they have been over 80 days clear of any thai person being symptomatic
same cant be said for US/UK who ignored health protection advice and prefered the economic protection model.

though the virus cant be completely irradicated because it will just come back in waves,, reducing how hard it can hit in one go could have been done better in many cases
asia for decades/centuries have respected personal space, they bow or put hands together in a praying gesture to welcome people. western countries still cough into their hand and shake hands with people.
though the fist bump is starting to become popular. its not as effecting as distant gestures like bowing

UK centuries ago used to 'tip the hat' and had hankerchiefs.. but they started to copy french(cheek kissing) and hand shaking by saying it is an act of trust that you dont fear the other person having something contagious
(yep its like tapping beer glasses together to make a toast as a gesture you dont fear poison being passed glass to glass as a act of trust of the person serving the drink.. an act of defiance against health precaution in those times that caught on as a trend)
10233  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia has developed covid-19 vaccine. on: August 23, 2020, 01:33:12 AM
Apparently now Russia even wants to supply Pakistan with 1 million vaccines. So far I didn't read anything about the success rate of the vaccine and if you really become immune afterwards. This might just be a big media campaign.

apparently AGES AGO US/UK started mass producing hundreds of millions of supplies even before they actually passed phase 2(uk/us skipped steps)

but its ok because what you need to learn is EVERY country is going to mass produce large amounts before phase 3 so that if it passes phase 3 all they have to do is deliver it
(save a few months)

russia might have trade deals with the philippines and pakistan but that does not mean they are going to start vaccinating general public until phase 3 completes
because russia hasnt even made millions of doses yet

do expect vaccine manufacturers to prepare millions of doses ready
do expect vaccine manufacturers to trash those supplies if it doesnt pass phase 3
dont expect results from phase 3 this year
dont expect delivery of doses until phase 3 passes

by having phase 3 results in maybe january, they can see that alongside questioning and surveying the phase 2 people which would have had 6-9 months, along with the phase 3 three months. to then get a better idea of any notable reactions.
10234  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: August 23, 2020, 12:53:58 AM

If you have to amplify multiple times to get results as with corona test you end up with irregular results no matter what.
Testing 10 times the same person on result will be positive

lets handle this little chestNUT
PCR isnt just handed the virus to test.
its handed the whole sample of bodily fluid
the whole process is to ISOLATE the virus from the human bodily fluid. and to do this they need to identify the human strands to isolate and disgard
then they can concentrate whats left over and test it

tash try to research human specimen control
it took me less than 3 minutes to debunk your link.

and this is why jetcash is ignorant
he asks for medical info then says he doesnt want info from the medical profession

the NHS is the medical profession they are the ones that actually treat patients. they are the record creators

whats next. jetcash wants food but refuses to go to any grocery store or farm. and just wants to cry that he cant get any food

just because you can grow your own food doesnt mean you can grow your own medical records

as for thinking the oxford/cambridge institutes that are making the vaccine are NHS departments. they are not
whats next. because doctors use a LCD screen suddenly sony, samsung must be the NHS
(facepalm)

oxford/cambridge are getting paid to create a vaccine using tax money. but not from the NHS budget
the NHS will review the medications/vaccines to see how effective they really are because they will later buy the vaccines if effective. and guess what. if the vaccines do cause issues then the NHS will get sued by people which does come out of their budget. so the NS are not just going to accept any stupid treatment. they actually look at how effective treatment is because they dont want to be sued

emphasis they dont just offer anything available. they offer whats actually effective
i know asda/sainsburys pharmacy sells lots of crap. but thats retail. not nhs.

know the difference
dont base your scope of medical treatments on the pharmacy aisle of a grocery store
10236  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Phycho-political side of why boxers wear protective gear or mouth guard on: August 20, 2020, 02:34:15 PM
well fights have been using mouthguards for decades. so pretending that fighters now get emotionally reactive due to words said during a fight would debunk the initial premiss you made that mouthguards stop them from saying anything..

anyway the reality of the psychology (not the physical) is by having a mouthguard they can bite down on something and take the pain and not worry about biting their tongue

its the same psychology of biting down on a stick when trying to strap a wound when there is no painkillers around
its not there just for something tasty. its so that you can use the biting reflex as a way to get through the psychological pain without worrying(another psychological trait) of harming yourself in the process. thus allowing you do to more than you would without the guard

its not about verbal cursing

los angeles has been on the brink for many years

many tv shows for the last 2 decades have been running from canada, chigaco, newyork
hardly any tv shows are produced in LA now

this aint a 2020 pandemic cause. this is a thing that has been happening for decades

.. whats not said in the article is the reason his business is booming in august. is because the average normal amount of people wanting to move in a normal march-july didnt move. so ofcourse august would see 5 months of business trying to happen in 1 month

EG
if 100 usually move in march
if 100 usually move in april
if 100 usually move in may
if 100 usually move in june
if 100 usually move in july

instead of seeing 200 'forsale' signs up around the city for 2 month average
they seeing 500 for sale signs all in one month

instead of having 25 people trying to move each week(over 5 months)
they are having 125 people trying to move in one week(over one month)

its not about avoiding cursing.

it protects the teeth not just from oncoming punches from an opponent
but also lets the fighter bite down on something so he can be more enraged without grinding his own teeth or biting his own tongue as he fights back

those without a mouthguard are more cautious to avoid getting hit. and also dont enrage themselves because they dont want to grind their own teeth or risk biting their tongue
