9821  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Abortion is the leading cause of death during the pandemic, killing 37 million on: November 25, 2020, 12:00:03 AM
whats not being said is
these are not 38million women that have surgeons put surgical tools up a womans privates and pull out something that resembles a human

in most cases its:
taking the morning after pill
using non clinical/medical tools outside of a healthcare service

yep its where those in poorer countries resort to things like prostitution or their religion forbids contraception. where then end up having to resort to other methods of not remaining pregnant. where in many cases is the same woman becoming pregnant multiple times a year due to lack of contraception.

yep prostitutes take morning after pills regular. much similar scenario as having a mint a morning after a fun night. because their 'client' doesnt want to believe in condoms

so while you conspire with fantasies of 38million thoughts of babies.. the reality is most of those millions are a bunch of cells or something smaller than baked bean

this makes it appear that out of 3.5bil women 1 in 100 are having an abortion per year
but the reality is one woman out of multiple thousand are having more then one abortion a year

so before gathering up just 1000 woman and declaring one as a baby murderer.
gather up 10,000 and inform them that 1 woman is probably having unprotected sex often and give them contraception advice about effective ways to avoid pregnancy.

but hey. enjoy your fantasies

funny part is badecker is a male and from arizona. so should have no say in this as its a topic about women in places he will never go to. so not something he should even try to involve himself with. especially when he doesnt even understand the topic
9822  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is planting trees actually good for the planet? on: November 24, 2020, 10:02:53 AM
The thing about EVs is that to make them you need Lithium, and producing Lithium pollutes more than a life-cycle of an average diesel car.
Sure, they don't pollute on the road, once they're made.
But how do you make the Lithium?

drill a hole (electric drill in future will be common  not diesel)
water pumped in then pressures brings out a 'brine'(alkali Salt) solution
reverse osmosis or just left to evaporate the water in a settling pond for a while
skimming/scraping the lithium layer

EV trucks(in the future) or electric pumps and pipes transport the condensed brine(skimmed/scraped layer).
electric powered factories run by renewables then do chemical separation
oh. they actually put carbon into the mix. meaning they are not evaporating carbon out but putting carbon into lithium. so good place to store carbon
...
dont worry they dont use millions of gallons of diesel in digger trucks. ..its a drill and a pump method
so less carbon waste than gold mining for instance

(1 ounce of gold uses $300 of JUST diesel)
(1 ounce of lithium costs well under $0.30 of ALL production costs)
9823  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think COVID19 is a scam? on: November 24, 2020, 07:14:23 AM
THIS is what a 'zero carbon' world looks like, except multiply it by about 7 billion.  'climate change' is a much bigger scam than covid-19 (and brought to us by the very same people I might add.)  It's a hard-core depopulation agenda.  'Climate believers' are for the most part well meaning innumerate simpletons, but I don't think that this will be enough of a defense when the day of retribution comes.

lets handle this little ditty.
yes blaming climate on carbon is the simpleton answer.
the more complex answer is water

less water in the sky means warmer days. less snow to land on the poles
why less water.
more man made roads and concrete and sewer pipes means less ground water to evaporate.
people relying on underground wells instead of rivers due to dams/reservoir hoarding
less water run off back into ground
underground wells dry up causing subsidance and ground sinks. america and jacarta. india are prime examples of land falling below previous levels.

yep sea levels in us/jacarta are not highlighted as rising. but instead the land is falling.
but US love to make more holes below their feet. empty oil wells. fracking. you name it. worse then swiss cheese below your feet
and all that climate tax funding going to insure and pay for flood defense not restart natural flows of the water cycle.

so yes environmental changes that impact climate are human caused. but not for the reasons media say

the carbon buzzword is because fossil fuel companies knew decades ago their resource was running out. but they dont want to invest their own profits into diversifying their business. so they get citizens to pay up for research grants into renewables. they know the fossil fuel industry is dead so blame it on the fossils and profit from it at the same time
..
as for things like the bleaching of sea coral. more honest nations are admitting its due to the water running off from industrial farming. yep all that yummy fertiliser that kills small bugs are killing the small bugs on coral.
ok ill be fair. ill let you have this one. 'monsanto monsanto monsanto'

..
i made the effort to address this little ditty because if these idiot conspiracy nuts actually took the time to research some facts they can actually find a proper enemy to be angry at. .. rather than making one up

so instead of wasting months trying to blame china for things happening in america. look at the thins happening in america that are going to change your life
china did not create covid.but america certainly hasnt done its job in stopping it
9824  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America was founded against racism, and religious intollerance not for it. on: November 24, 2020, 06:20:56 AM

(A) You're part and parcel of the nation that tortured Turing.
(B) By post modern historical revisionism you share that guilt
(C) Fuck you.
(D) Now STFU, go into the corner and meditate over your guilt.

....ad hominem deleted...
So you won't share the guilt of how England handled Turing, but you want to lecture others?

oh look another bitcoin forum user invoking the buzzword of 'adhom'. dang 5 years ago i dealt with people doing that. seems to be circling around again
boring rebuttals are made by those that proclaim things as adhom to escape the detail mentioned in the post.

anyways current event wise.. meaning now. shows certain americans love and admire certain acts done by their fellow community. by which yea they should feel guilt by association because they cant hide it away as historic and no longer part of their community.

so while you try to attach me to historic situations. whereby taking a hormone tablet seems in your mind torture. maybe not a good example to deflect away from your own personal current event guilts

so please do pick a better example to pay homage to your ad hominem against me

ooh and dont forget. while your fanbase love to follow celebs. try to follow caitlyn jenner and find out how her 'torture' was. oh wait. i mean treatment (taking hormones)

(im stil chuckling.. 'torture'. now thats funny)
its been comedy gold tonight.

side note.
usually you seem to be one of the few that can hold a good worthy debate. but it seems when the subject matter concerns the trumpettes. your knees give in and your legs go to jelly at just the mere hint of the name trump.
maybe you need to look into that weakness of yours.
9825  Other / Politics & Society / Re: THE TROLLEY DILEMMA on: November 24, 2020, 06:11:47 AM
exactly
the fun part is that the scenario YOU chose has flaws. so the debate is about the flaws..
i mentioned it in my first post. catch up

better scenarios if the only answer you want is a binary answer is the car brake fail scenario
less variables. where the options are veer left and hit one kid or veer right and hit 5 old people

that car brake fail scenario has more of a moral clause in it.
your example is just time and math. not morals.

why the moral clause
because first thought is 1 kid has more life potential in future than 5 old people
but second thought 5 families are then affected by a tragedy instead of one
but third thought is 1 kid has better reaction speed to see and hope jump out the way
but fourth thought is the decision makers PTSD/guilt
and so on

however your scenario is just a numbers game not a morals game
enjoy
9826  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are people dying from Covid19 or from reaction of the wrong medication? on: November 24, 2020, 01:43:52 AM
If government officials don't respond to the wishes of the people, government will be replaced... one way or the other.

yep people had enough of trump. he'll be gone by january
accept that fact. the wishes of the people, via votes of the nation have decided it

time for a change
you need to accept the wishes of the people not the wishes of trump

nah..
i personally just hate ...

(C) Fuck you.
(D) Now STFU, go into the corner and meditate over your guilt.

(A)2020 men beg for their healthcare insurer to include hormone replacement therapy.. but spendulus calls it torture
2020 men shoot unarmed men simply because they black. but spendulus calls that a normal tuesday

i think spendulus is not mad about racism of left or right he just angry that people are not obediant sheep of trumpyism. and that those non trumpettes are calling out the trumpettes for being trumpettes

ive stated many actual examples of trumps right wing racism
care to note any actual left wing racism?

i know you want to just reply and say left is racist. but can you give examples?
9830  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America was founded against racism, and religious intollerance not for it. on: November 23, 2020, 07:08:27 PM
i know you would love everyone to look like a clone of your family. thats the racist mindset.
equality is not about everyone looking like your clone.
its about all humans being treated like humans. and not hunted like deer
a human is not a deer.
do you understand the difference?

its not about being treated like your clone. its about not being treated like difference species

and its the trumpettes(trump fans) that are leaning towards neo nazi.
so funny how you cant even understand the communist nazi groups are trump fans

yep even trump was asking 'show me your papers' to obama not so long ago.

i find it funny that a countries statue wants to welcome people.. but trump then wants to check people papers at the door

republicans love the idea of stop and search for people of color but dont want stop and search for reppublicans walking down sidewalks with an open carry gun on their shoulder..
see the difference of wanting certain groups to be treated differently

they say not being interfered with by cops for having a weapon is a human right. but they dont want to extend that right to all humans.
do you see the difference?
9831  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are people dying from Covid19 or from reaction of the wrong medication? on: November 23, 2020, 06:29:44 PM
well in the UK
you cant have breakfast with more then 6 people this month. but UK leader boris knows that more then 6 people can sit at a table at work. sooo.. boris had a 'breakfast' business meeting

..
and now he has to self isolate because someone with covid had breakfast with him.
guess he learned the hard way not to try twisting the rules

trump couldnt get near groups of people indoors. soo. had a garden party..
he got covid and ended up needing oxygen and lots of medications.
hmm even covid denier realises its more then just a cough
guess he learned the hard way not to twist the rules

now he just plays golf by himself with everyone else standing at a distance
9832  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump’s dangerous last stand to retain power!!! on: November 23, 2020, 06:17:44 PM
the democrats as a movement systematically did voting fraud, as they systematically burned down american cities, the leftist movement in america needs to be shut down

only the republicans wanted votes not to be counted.
only the republicans wanted counted votes to be disqualified
means only republicans wanted to create fraud

it was trump that tweeted that his fanboys and proudboys should go out and cause chaos

9833  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America was founded against racism, and religious intollerance not for it. on: November 23, 2020, 06:13:54 PM
they found america.. using ships.. with slaves onboard, which they didnt think of as equals
they beached ground and found natives. and treated them with hostility because they were not their equals
once settled. they wanted to cut ties with those not in their new clan

move forward a few hundred years.
and an american republican leader.. wants to build walls to keep non americans out.

doesnt sound like they are happy with those outside of their 'america' and stil not happy with those within america that they deem not equal.

.......
in the 1960's UK didnt like india/pakistan. at the millennium didnt like polish/east euro, then it was middle eastern
US didnt like natives,  then freed africans, then chinese then russians now not mexicans.

all thats changing is who to hate. not the hate itself
9834  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump’s dangerous last stand to retain power!!! on: November 23, 2020, 05:59:18 PM
CNN did not decide the results

the ballot counting facilities released info that when they got to a point where say there were only say 1000 votes left to count. but one candidate was way way way over 1000 ahead.

mathematically theres no way for the other candidate to overtake, meaning its a firm judgement by the counting facility to say that the candidate with most votes has got it.
it was then double confirmed at the finality of the count.

media just publish the info from the counting facility

anyway its old news now.. because the counting facilities have given their numbers.
heck some counting facilities even recounted since that news and came to the same result..again

so crying about how CNN reported the result. become meaningless

the count is the count... accept it and get over the loss
9835  Other / Politics & Society / Re: THE TROLLEY DILEMMA on: November 23, 2020, 04:51:34 PM
in a binary choice the logical answer is
if options are 5 or 1.. the obviously the less damaging option of 1dies

there is no dilemma. in maths thats the best answer
in humanities that is the answer
in morals that is the answer
in common sense that is the answer..
no moral dilemma

the real question is with such an amount of seconds available and with a human available and not a logic robot. why didnt the person have the morals to just shout to both groups of people to just jump/run out the way

so changing the game to a proper option where there is no human variable of multiple options. where there is no time delay offering multiple possibilities.. the answer would be if no age specificity was given again simply 1 vs 5
then yea 1 dies again.

however a better moral dilemma. with no time in scenario to have multiple options. no human ability to have multiple options. but the only variable becomes 1 kid vs 5 old people
then.. that becomes a moral challenge that will change what people decide

yep psychological trials have run different scenarios and tested people
in a choice of 1 or 5 dies.. everyone chooses the 1 dies. no moral debate
in a choice of 1kid or 5old people.. thats where morals pop in and make the results less predictable

again your trolley example has been a bad example to pick
if you are in a psychology class and your tutor used the trolley.. you will find all psychology debaters would say 1 dies. but then debate the scenario as being flawed.

most psychology classes dont use the trolley scenario. they use other examples with a better dilemma in psychology
9836  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think COVID19 is a scam? on: November 23, 2020, 01:39:01 PM
The point is, everybody had and still has whatever rights he wants to have, as long as he doesn't harm anyone or damage the property of anyone. Such damage includes the damage of mind and emotions caused by a direct threat. Other than that, everybody has any and all rights that he wants, even the right to not accept the laws that others make for him... and to do so without impunity.

so by that
respect peoples personal space and do not harm them with your actions
in short. obide by social distancing rules

there we have it badecker now realises he should not be trying to promote licking peoples faces and forcing herd immunity on others.

only took him 9 months
9837  Other / Politics & Society / Re: THE TROLLEY DILEMMA on: November 23, 2020, 01:14:52 PM
Assuming that the trolley is moving at high speed, given the situation, that the only choice is to divert the tracks. This would leave the person with these 2 choices in a small limit of time. So if this is the scenario, which of the 2 choices you would pick? you can also make up a better solution as long as it is feasible, and not a dream like action like stoping the trolley with your bare hands. ENJOY  Grin

again your trying to FORCE a 2 choice option
but assuming we are not robots. and assume laws of physics and reality apply(feasible realism applies after all).
then obviously.. knowing the time it takes for someone to make a decision, then react to physically press a button in enough time for the tracks to change before the trolley reaches the fork.
is multiple seconds..then for the trolley to have changed tracks to only impact one group.. is more seconds
yep sorry but physics and reality apply

then multiple options are at play

maybe pick a dilemma that has no spare variables/time

EG
cars brakes fail. and swerves to avoid an underpass partition and ends up on a sidewalk. theres a group of old people on the right and a kid on its own on the left. do you next try to swerve to the left or right

..
trolley dilemma is a failed dilemma in reality
9838  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How to fix broken Democracy? There is a solution - Futarchy on: November 23, 2020, 11:53:10 AM
democracy fails not on the vote. but on:
acceptance of the vote
the pledges made by the candidates actually being fulfilled once in power

a yearly review described by the topic creator seems empty as does having to accumilate a score over 100 years
things people agreed on 100 years ago wont be the same as now. so its pointless basing satisfaction of for instance segregation/homophobia of 1920 vs segregation homophobia of 2020

..
a better system is realise we are in 2020 where people are votingweekly monthly on silly things like american idol and the voice. so how about every 6 months the country leaders revise their pledge of what they have done/will do over the next 6 months. whereby they have an actual repremand/penalty/punishment if they dont meet the needs of the people
or have the treasury funds where x% goes to the usual ring fenced stuff that doesnt change and the 6month vote aids what to put into certain projects/pledges
..
the current system is empty pledges for a 4 year employment with no repremand/punishment
4 years is a long time to do nothing.
4 years is a long time to do nothing and not be incentivised/punished for doing something/nothing
things change in that 4 years.
9839  Other / Politics & Society / Re: THE TROLLEY DILEMMA on: November 23, 2020, 11:33:23 AM
and if someone has the time to see an aproaching 'trolley' and have time to press a button. and time for that trolley to change tracks. then all the people have time to walk away out its path

the only issue with the trolley dilemma is its binary representation of only allowing 2 choices and only 2 choices are allowed. and if the questioner will have morals and respect to not start a fight is someone offers a better option thats neither of the 2

humans and morals are not binary. so lets not only have 2 options
9840  Other / Off-topic / Re: Healthy Peoples Don't Die on COVID-19 on: November 22, 2020, 09:00:58 AM
I really wonder about 6) obesity because my doctor never told me I am risk of dying (note i am overweight.)

this is about many factors associated with obesity
how well oxygen can get around your body.
EG
if your so obese that just getting out of bed you breathless.. you are gonna have it severe 10/10
if you walk around ur house fine but walking around your park is a strain 9/10
if you get breathless jogging and it takes more then 10mins to catch your breath 8/10
risk number goes down the less trouble you have

as for oxygenation when sat down
if your extremities(hands and feet) go numb/pins and needles/cramps from just not moving. 10/10
if your limbs go numb/cramps from prolonged crossing legs/arms 8/10
if you get numbness/cramps from exercise. 8/10

..
basically if just overweight but never really get breathless in your day to day the risk is far far lower then someone that cant even put their socks on without getting exhausted.

there are other factors at play like how well your body can function generally. like metabolising energy.
so if you get tired doing small tasks thats a risk. but if you can walk to work, do work, come home. less risk
if you bruise easily or things dont heal fast. thats a risk as its a sign your body doesnt create cells/repair fast
if you dont urinate/bowel movement regularly thats a risk as its a sign your organs are not 100%

its never a true/false/yes no binary option. its a factor of a number of risk amounts that can add up

obesity is not just extra weight. its extra weight for your heart and lungs to handle. its also the strain on your organs. its also the bad diet for your organs. and also the extra body mass that requires more energy/oxygen just to continue existing
