Pawgo, you know we have talked in the past and I have tested your programs and posted results; I honestly do not know how the kangaroo stride version could help speed up search time or how to really implement it to work better than original kangaroo, as far as time finding key.

Kangaroo with stride is not for puzzles or other search, but for solving WIFs with missing beginning, you tested that: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5315607.msg56300590#msg56300590
This is the situation where you know that answer is in the range A - B, but you do not test each key - stride is equal 58^x, where x depends on position of missing character.
It works, it solves given problem - but noone (at least not me) stated that it is somehow better or faster than original one. It is just an add-on.

I sold FUN the result from winning playing at dplay yesterday selling at 29 Satoshi,  I think the price of FUN will go down again because the price of BTC has gone down enough it will be very possible to recover soon to the range of $35,000 which will cause the price of FUN to decrease if this happens.
Those who save WoF, this is the right time to play it because it's basic rewards that have gone up by several satoshi.

I agree with you. I accumulated some WOFs to play them later, but now, with base reward 50, I think it is a good time to spin the wheel. I also execute 6 daily WOFs I receive (+1 from email + 1 bought for RPs), but in general results are really disappointing - I think I have never before collected so may lottery tickets ;-)

By the way - have you seen last lottery results? Someone in top 10 had 63 tickets  Shocked

"która w AT wybija górą w 2/3 przypadkow" I wybiło górą.

Which software you talk about? Is there any other reliable "sequential key checker"?
Is it sequential? I thought it spread out the threads according to -b - t- -p numbers...I am sure it does spread out, then check sequentially. The other software is the modified vanity search and keyhunt.

You talk about technical implementation, I was talking about the way how it works. Of course if you have 2 threads, work must be somehow divided, but the idea is to check each key from A to B. Then there is stride, where you do not check "each" key, but still you decide which ones should be tested. I bet you see the difference comparing for example to Kangaroo, where tests are random (where BTW I have also implemented stride, for WIF solving).
Using "stride" or "random" mode as a shortcut to finding a key is just a playing a lottery.
I did not check yet VanBitCracken, but as I briefly see it is not a piece of brand new software, just a modified/patched version of old programs. Hard to say as there are no sources.

Do you mean build-in card or eGPU?

I have eGPU RTX 3060 and with these settings I have 800Mkey in peak, stable 780-790:

I use https://github.com/PawelGorny/BitCrack-3000 (forked from NotATether)
On a related note: I'm assuming that my "workaround" for misaligned address bug on 2xxx and 3xxx series cards is working for you? (I never had thes cards, so I couldn't check myself). I'm assuming it's working for you because you published speed specs, but I just want to make sure it doesn't crash mid-computation.

Honestly speaking I did not launch very long computations, so I cannot say if it crashes after one or seven hours, but for a few minutes it works smoothly Wink
I think I just wanted to have a ready solution to be build with newer cuda and for the higher ccap.
Honest question, why are people still using bitcrack with rtx 30xx or 20xx cards? Performance is "horrible" compared to software that does same thing...unless it's for the "stride" function, which is hit and miss if searching for an actual private key.

Which software you talk about? Is there any other reliable "sequential key checker"?
Talking about stride - of course some people used it as a "random shortcut" and it is stupid, I agree. But for a long time it was also the fastest tool for WIF solving with characters missing at the beginning. Times they are a-changin', that's right, now we have WifSolverCuda and that other tool which is told to be faster than BitCrack, but still it is a good piece of software.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5233900.msg54056385#msg54056385

No i o czym to świadczy?

Not the greatest and luckiest of the results, but I liked to have been rewarded with more RPs than lottery tickets.

Hehe, exactly. As I suppose you have your lottery tickets reward disabled, right?
Could you tell us briefly what % of rolls was the base reward?
No, lottery configurations are normal. I've never changed that.
Among total 955 spins, these are the only superior prizes I've received (9 times or 0,94% Cry):

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, the chance of winning prizes with 4-5k sats or reward points is only 0.0999%, which means it takes an average of 1000 spins for a user to win only 1 such prize. So I'd say you got pretty lucky this time, considering you won these prizes 2 times as well as many other prizes in just 955 spins of the wheel of fortune. This is really a great result.

From that point of view - yes, it was a good result. In general the chances to win RP/sat/lottery are the same - it is matter of personal preference if someone prefers to receive RP instead of lottery tickets or vice versa.
At the end - RP are almost the same like sats - you just need to wait longer to make them "spendable" and you do not have instant annual % premium for keeping them on in account.

Thanks to this, now I'm also able to exchange my RPs into satoshis.

Congratulations!
How much time it took to collect 955 WOFs? Did you buy WOFs for RPs?

F1 GP Miami this week, 8 more hours for your bets. What do you think, again fight will be just between Leclerc and Verstappen?
Is Hamilton going to leave his ear piercings at home?
What a story... instead of racing media write about jewelry:

A zatem jesteśmy świadkami pierwszej fali walki sztucznych inteligencji ;-)

Using VPN is not a problem, what concerns me is fact that "By using the Website you confirm you are not a resident in a Restricted Jurisdiction." - in other words if you are resident of a given country and use VPN just to have access to the website, you break the rules. I am not sure what could be the consequences, but I guess they may block account (and funds).

The list is indeed quite big and my country is also on it but I went into livechat and they confirmed that VPN's are no problem at all. So they will not block your account if you try to access the page using a VPN.

I hope you have it written somewhere, or at least you have the screenshot. But on the other hand they will not block users who give them any kind of profits and not misuse the service (duplicated accounts, self-ref etc).

1057  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core wallet.dat file containing 3.5 BTC + Password Hint on: May 06, 2022, 12:47:09 PM
For those who say it's a scam, what's the benefit of the scammer exactly?

In this case - I do not know what OP is hoping for. For success it must be 1) real wallet 2) opened by someone 3) honest "winner" share coins with OP. Maybe he bought that wallet and has no resources to crack the password?
Here, there is no clear gain for him. But in general it seems there is a huge "market" for locked wallets.
For example that topic from Russian board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5160025.0
Or that topic, already mentioned by me: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5242967.0
So you may buy password protected wallet and try your luck or you may just get one for free.

If you check addresses sold, most of them has public key exposed...
1058  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core wallet.dat file containing 3.5 BTC + Password Hint on: May 06, 2022, 12:15:46 PM
Since you asked, i just did it on VM. Looking at it's transaction history, 1NUW3z5z6cNs8Ltd2cN2BnxP92dySdcuG8 is the only receiving address. According to mempool.space[3], it has ~3.5BTC. But there's no way to know whether the encrypted part of the wallet is manipulated or not[4].

I do not know how all that .dat files are manipulated, but as far I recall, it was somehow proved that it is possible to "inject" given address into wallet.dat file knowing it's public key. In other words - if you know public key (wallet has spending transaction) it is possible to create a forged wallet file for that address. Wallet will work in bitcoin core, show correct balance etc. But of course it will not be possible to withdraw coins as private key will not be available.
Such a bad surprise when you already crack the password.

And yes, address from OP's wallet has spending transaction, which means (in my opinion) that chances it is forged change from 50/50 to 99%.

As far as I know, Betfury has a Curacao license. Under this license, they cannot provide their services in the territories of Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, France, the Netherlands, Australia, Great Britain, Spain, Saba, Statia, Saint Martin, USA, etc. In addition, if you check the ToS page on the Betfury site, you will see a list of countries whose users cannot create and use an account on Betfury's platform. However, if you use a paid VPN, you shouldn't have any problems accessing the Betfury site since such paid services provide a large list of countries. As an example, you can try to access the Betfury site using a VPN with IP addresses from Canada, Germany, or South American countries.

Ah, ok, indeed point 3.3 Terms of Use specifies the list of countries where their service is not allowed. Quite a big list I would say...

Last month I was executing my free WOFs every day, for May I have decided to again collect them and launch once, at the end of month. Now with the BTC price decreasing WOFs becomes worth more and more... And yesterday's dip... oh.

It makes me think, maybe apart of betting on sport events and BTC/ETH price, freebitco should add betting on stocks indexes, like NYSE or NASDAQ? "What would be the NASDAQ at the end of week?".
