1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Open] TOKPIE Signature Campaign - Full Members+ on: April 04, 2018, 09:16:57 PM
Hello all, Please check this spreadsheet for the accepted participants:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lrzeOShufT9FA09BYsYNjTBrka_Nl1mLjYin_iuDdfY/edit#gid=1914568635

Are there no adherence to rules here anymore? This post should be made at the altcoin bounty thread. Here is for campaigns that pay in bitcoin.

Please show me the rule and i'll ask admins to move it.

Hi manager can you clarify this?

Eth will be sent as a weekly payment starting 18th of May (Participants will be rewarded for weeks starting from today to the 18th of May, and after that will be rewarded weekly).

eth payments will be made weekly? Or will only start on may 18?
it is cleared that they will start RELEASING ETHEREUM ON MAY 18th but before that the payments will be on credit, this means for 1 month and 15 days we will be working without accepting anything...i dont know whats the reason behind that its smells not normal since they will only paying in ethereum not bitcoin

Hello, yes we will start releasing Eth on May 18th, that means that everyone who was a participant in the 6 weeks before it (If you join us for a week or for 6 weeks, its the same) will receive the ETH on May 18th, our presale ends on May 18th and that is why the team is sticking to only sending out bounty rewards after the presale, i hope i got this clarified for you Smiley

We still require 3 Sr. Members, 1 Full Member and 1 Hero/Legendary member with at least 15+ merit points.
Not like the participants having to wait till your proposed payment date - 18th May, is totally out of place, if that's what would serve you well, but I mustn't fail to say it's faulty and only protects your interest. To lay your cards on the table, I think you should consider entrusting the ETH for the campaign with any of the trusted escrows in the forum. Other than that, it would mean, you're hoping to pay from the proceeds of your presale, so what happens if things fail to turn up exactly as you anticipated?
1042  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] FortuneJack Signature Campaign - Starts 6th of April - Sr./Hero/Legendary on: April 04, 2018, 09:48:48 AM
Thank God FJ is redoing their campaign again...  The last two instances of this had annoying people literally spamming the gambling threads with nonsense just to reach their post minimum.

I can agree to some extent about that. This is the main reason as to why I wanted to change it to get people with some Merit while at the same time not having high requirements for posts in the gambling sections.

Hopefully it'll turn out for the best Smiley.
Would be a better idea to look more at the range of quality posts than just the number of merits behind a user's name, because it has not been foolproof and anyone desperate to have some, can actually end up with a bunch.

Good questions. If you want to have a tool and be into a growing team you should more carefully read first post
and send me in PM your contact so I will be able to answer questions in live conversation and to show overview video.
Yes, you shall be needing to provide lots of answers here and not in private if you desire your not open source bot to be given a chance, when the limitation of your rank level becomes an issue, people here would know. I must say the concerns raised by @akes2090 are fundamental and you should start by throwing light on them!
1045  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Receive 0.0025 BTC for your review of a new bitcoin mixer BESTMIXER.IO on: March 28, 2018, 06:03:08 PM
Testing Best Mixer service with 0.005BTC at 100%, 0.5452% fee after 2 hours 2 minutes.

Site design is straight to business and choice of colors is simple and cool to the eyes. The interface is user friendly, I noticed you have had to make room for various recommendations made by earlier reviewers in bringing the site to its present look and that's commendable. I want to say the presence of fee calculator and status screen provides good enough information a user needs without having to look up some.

Received: 0.005 BTC,
Outputs: 0.00491007 BTC, Status: Confirmed, Pending

So my coins would remain PENDING for roughly 2 hours, how then can I rate the speed?

EDIT: I have received the Reward and refund of transaction fee. Thanks and all the best!

1048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading actually worth it? on: March 27, 2018, 05:55:42 AM
I find it so profitable and so worth it when i am earning but when i am not earning,  i feel so disappointed and so useless. I have some fear that my investment will be all gone in just a week.
Feeling of disappointment and fear are pitfalls for any trader, they never let you move ahead. They're not something a trader should harbor so best thing is to root them out and start trading with confidence, knowing that it is your research, studies and analyses that influences  what trading decisions you make. You will definitely not be  right all the time, but except you're doing it all wrong, the few losses would be eclipsed by the winnings.
1049  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: March 27, 2018, 05:17:02 AM
Forex trading is not an easy job because the exchange company are against you the trader for reason being that the more you loose the more they gain which mean they are against you not to succeed or make any profit. But crypto is more or less better as compare to Forex.
That's not true and you don't sound like you have tested forex trade at any time. For a start, in forex trade, we deal with brokers and not exchange companies. Most brokers are registered and regulated and a number of them are able to link you to the real inter-bank rates depending on your financial strength and there are also market makers, best known as bucket shops. They are the ones you should be wary of, because they have some questionable trading practices. That said, there are no easy jobs anywhere especially the ones with great potentials, but an experience in forex trading goes a long way in making crypto trading easier.
1050  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 25, 2018, 09:23:43 PM
I used to think that gold is better and profitable on long range than bitcoin but you never know what will happen with crypto tommorow so it's just a coin flip game.
You said nothing about the inherent need for the acquisition of vaults and the added cost security of the gold would attract as well as the constant threat of theft! All said, should you run into an international business that calls for immediate remittance of funds, would it be stress-free and timely to have your gold into cash and at what cost? I think the best way to see things is that gold have had its days, but life have moved on and now is the time for Bitcoin.
1051  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: March 25, 2018, 08:52:25 PM
Why are you guys expending your energy and time on non issue? The first thing should have been to supply answers to the following queries, begging for answer:

1. is it possible that everybody could stop buying Bitcoin?

2. if so, what reasons can lead to such a situation?

It is only after the questions above have been answered in the affirmative that people can then draw the conclusion that the price of Bitcoin would head to zero. Until then, there's nothing imaginable that would make all people stop buying Bitcoin, even the governments ran into brick walls in trying to ban it. Bitcoin is simply a revolution whose time is now!
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: March 25, 2018, 06:43:59 PM
I don't trust in Bitcoin.
That's rather unfortunate, but why are you still hanging out here - this is a Bitcoin discussion forum and you may want to know that whatever altcoin you may have there, owes their existence to Bitcoin.

Bitcoin as the flagship cryptocurrency has almost 10 years of experience behind it,  it parades the largest community and reach, it is the most capitalized and most traded,  why would its price be any less?

The price of Bitcoin could also drop to nothing if nobody is going to put it to use.
The popularity of Bitcoin remains on the increase  and so is the usage. Interestingly transaction fees and confirmation time are back to being impressive, so I don't see how the price of Bitcoin would drop to nothing.
1053  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 25, 2018, 05:39:10 PM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in0 10 years.
This thread was started in 2014, that's some 4 years ago. Back then, the annual gold closing price was $1,199.25 and presently,  we are looking at $1,350.30 while back then Bitcoin was struggling to hold out in 3 digits  as against its 5 digits form in recent tines. In  retrospect, gold can be said to be dormant in the course of these 4 years while Bitcoin have made sensational impacts. In  the light of that, anyone looking  to huge turnover should know to go with Bitcoin, while anyone interested in safe haven investments should stick with gold.

Hey guys good news here. Hope this will affect bitcoin price and it will grow up. What do you think?
Only FUDsters would be popping Champagne over this incident! Obvious they do not understand why governments after governments, who have vowed to ban Bitcoin ended up throwing it open to anyone that shows their ID. To anyone who cares to listen, no meaningful government is ever going  to ban Bitcoin, because they now have better understanding to target anonymity than Bitcoin itself.
1055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KYCs (Know your Client) is killing crypto on: March 25, 2018, 07:03:36 AM
As far as submitting personal documents, I think it's appropriate but with an agency that will never leak out such sensitive information. It will only just for a background check and nothing else.
Where exactly can we find such agencies that guarantees people's personal information would never be disclosed to third parties? These days we're beginning to see that the requirement for KYC by most centralized exchanges is now by default, regardless you want to deal on fiat or not. The main concern of many people over the request for KYC in cryptocurrency is that one can never tell, who or where their personal details end up and that is even made worst by the rate these exchanges are hacked.
1056  Economy / Economics / Re: I want to invest more of what I don't have (money) on: March 24, 2018, 09:01:22 PM
I want to invest a few more thousands into eos, iota, and aion for the win. Too bad it will take me a few more weeks. I am so drained lol. Anyone else thinking like this? So motivated to invest. But lacking the funds.
Can't find a motivated person in the picture painted above. Any motivated won't notice the few more weeks that may be necessary, they would hardly complain of been broke, because isn't that the very problem they're here to solve? Raising capital or more of it have never been an easy exercise, but one can actually look inward by diligently turning around what they already have at hand. A bird at hand, is worth two in the bush!
1057  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technique to regain losses? on: March 24, 2018, 07:37:47 PM
Before try to purchase any coin include bitcoin, make sure that they already reach quite low value so you can wait until you've reach in profit.
When you say a low value, you're being vague as what is a low value this moment can become a high value next time you check. To be precise, we need to employ couple of trading tools that enable us pinpoint when market is oversold, which implies price is then low or if overbought, price can be said to be high.

But if things got worse, for me if loss more than 10% , I will sell it right away by using sell order for auto sell on spesific value because in cryptocurrency, everything can happen !
10% stop loss for Bitcoin is more or less same as indulging in panic selloff and should you continue at that, won't be long your account would likely run dry.
1058  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without knowledge on: March 24, 2018, 07:02:36 PM
it's no problem because you can still do it even without the knowledge and the problem is trading without capital,
I suggest buying eth or btc when the price goes down and hold it ,,, you will get a profit, I am sure
Don't fool yourself, knowledge is indispensable for success in any area of human endeavor. It could have been your lucky days, but you really don't have to count on that  because anyone can test success, but it take knowledge and wisdom to retain and manage success. If a trader have all the capital he would ever need and no good enough trading knowledge, just give him some time and all that money would have grown wing and left him.
1059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making 1% Daily on: March 24, 2018, 02:02:08 PM
On paper, it sounds very easy and tempting but it is more difficult than you think.
Take into account that there are out there expert traders who don't make this kind of profit, because if they could do that they would be millionaires overnight.
You only took into account the successful trades and not the ones in which you have to sell at a loss or have to wait a long time for that 1%.
I am also of  the view that it's easier said than done.  1% might not be a big deal to make but doing so consistently day after day. would be hard to sustain because there are bound to be days that the market would be very disagreeable.  While it is worthwhile and recommendable to set goals,  but it's  best to always set achievable goals.
1060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you deal with friends/family when they lose their investment? on: March 24, 2018, 03:05:09 AM
I currently am holding some bitcoins for a friend which I helped buy for him at $9300. Now he is looking at the charts and seeing that he is losing money, at one point he was going to start freaking out so I sat him down and explained the market to him as much as I could, showed him charts and all that and he is calm for now. Although I don't know how calm he will be if the price drops even lower so I have offered to give him the exact amount he invested in if it turns out he cannot wait.
That's a very hot seat to place oneself and I won't recommend it to anyone! Evidently you only showed him the juicy part of investing in Bitcoin, prior to his handing over some money to buy on his behalf and that actually makes the risk all on you. Meanwhile, you were supposed to have waited patiently to buy only after a bottom is confirmed from a panic selloff, as is mostly the case, because the money involved, you really cannot afford to lose.

Moreover, while it would be easy for you to understand that all what the market needs is just some time, your friend/family member would likely be having sleepless nights, calling your number all too often and barging into your house and in the invent that the waiting gets lengthier, other family members and friends would start murmuring about you! I think it's best to place everything on the table from the onset and let them choose to invest or not!
