Manchester City - Nottingham Forest will be played tomorrow with clear advantage for Citizens. I think they could easily get at least 2 goals advantage.
Tomorrow also Manchester United will face Burnley, well if they fail in this match too then consequences will be bad for the stuff.. ManU need this victory to boost the team and fans psychologically in this unsuccessful starting.
The other 3 games that will be played tomorrow are quite balanced with slight advantage for Brentford and Wolves. Crystal Palace - Fulham is a challenging match and it is hard to predict the winner.

If you look at the quality of SPL I am still quite sure if they are still below European level. European players who come are interested not because of the competition, but indeed the money offered is quite large. This makes European players who enter retirement age and even those who have not gone to the SPL. Like Firmino, Mane they have struggled to find a team in Europe. Even they were banished from the club. But at the moment they are able to compete and perform quite well in the SPL.
Every player has a team that he could perform good in it and many others where he fails to adapt, like Lukaku, Hazard, Cristiano Ronaldo, even Messi in his first year with PSG and the list is long. Firmino and Mane are good players in Liverpool but for Mane he tried his luck in Bayern Munich and failed to adapt while Firmino didn't try to find an European club but preferred money instead.
Al-Hilal missed 2 points in today's match vs Damac, one of the two teams that failed to win a single game in Saudi Pro League and sitting near the relegation zone! The worst part is that Al-Hilal is playing with all their top players including Neymar, Mitrovic, Malcolm, Milinkovic-Savic... Thanks to this mistake, Al-Ittihad jumped to the first place in front of them. I am not sure if Al-Ahli can pick the second place from them since they will face Al-Nassr tomorrow. |

Turkish teams have completed the day nicely. First Fenerbahce played a home game against Nordsjaelland. This was technically one of the toughest games of the group for them but the game was quite comfortable for them. The final score might seem 3-1 but it would have been even a more solid victory as Fenerbahce wasted many opportunities as well.
On the other hand Besiktas managed to steal one point from a tough away game. They played against Club Brugge and I didn't like their game much in general. But even though getting 1-0 behind they managed to score the equalizer in the last minutes. This one point is valuable as it might even decide the leader later on.
Beşiktaş saved themselves for now from a defeat vs the hardest opponent in their group thought. I could call that a good step for qualification. For Fenerbahce, their direct rival is Ludogorets which trashed Spartak Trnava with 4 goals to 0 today by the way.. Otherwise teams like Dinamo Zagreb, Lille, Ferencvaros didn't have a problem to win with 2 or 5 goals difference. There is Fiorentina and worse Aston Villa and AZ Alkmaar that missed points in today's games. |

Group B has started wonderful. Both of the games being played are going on with many goals and there is a tie for both now. Ajax - Marseille is 3-3 and Brighton - AEK is 2-2 now. I'm surprised with the Brighton game the most because I wasn't expecting Brighton to have this much difficulty.
While I was making this post Brighton conceded another goal, unbelievable! It looks like they really don't want to achieve something good in the Europa League. I don't think they have such option considering their history with European competitions. They are normally the second biggest title contender according to bookmakers.
Yeah Brighton game made me feel like I might underestimated AEK Athens or overestimated Brighton a little bit maybe. The actual result is Brighton (home) 2 - 3 AEK Athens. The two goals of Brighton were scored thanks to penalties. The game almost finished with a very bad result for them.. In the other games, Liverpool, Leverkusen, Rennes, Atalanta and West Ham did pretty well with 2 goals difference or more. Olympiacos 2 - 3 Freiburg for the moment and Ajax 3 - 3 Marseille! |

Union Berlin did more of a defensive play, they made it obvious that their strength is mainly in their defense, although their defensive prowess is quite impressive but that was not we all expected of them, we expected a game where the play was supposed to be balance as the both look equal in strength of play going by their records in their various league.
I would say from what i have seen on the preview of the game that Union Berlin was not playing bad and Madrid was just lucky to score in the overtime. Lose against Madrid with just one goal isnt that bad.
Tomorrow evening there will be the game Stuttgart at home against Darmstadt and i expect if Stuttgart keep playing as the last weekend that they will win. Hopefully we dont see another surprise from Darmstaddt again as my bet goes for Stuttgart here. Definitely I am backing Stuttgart too to win. They showed better gameplay when they knocked Bochum and especially Freiburg by 5 goals each in the first and the third rounds. Darmstadt made a surprising draw vs M'Gladbach. In fact they were leading with 3 goals to 0 before they their performance dropped drastically in the second half and let M'Gladbach recover. In my opinion, Stuttgart can win this match tomorrow with 2 goals difference. |

Barcelona managed to win the first match of the Champions League in a remarkable way. This huge margin of victory will give confidence to all the players in the next matches. I think the Barcelona team is very committed to doing great things in the Champions League.
Barcelona started the season slowly with an unnecessary draw then they improved and knocked both Real Betis and Antwerp with 5 goals each in La Liga and Champions League respectively which show a very good performance from them. Well these victories send positive results to their fans but in Champions League Antwerp isn't Manchester City, nor Inter nor Bayern Munich...it is just a normal team and weaker than Barcelona. In fact the whole Group H is weaker than Barca. |

Mourinho is a great and famous coach and he is the coach to win the Champions League with Porto while they didn't have many famous and superstar players in their team.
That's why it's normal for people to expect much more from this coach, I was thinking Roma could get a much better place on the table in the last season.
Mourinho tactics are well studied by his rivals and like Simeone in Atlético Madrid, they don't have an additional value. They are keeping their teams in respectable spots but they fail to advance the team further. After 4 rounds, Roma won once with a big score vs Emploi and lost twice. Apart from the defeat against Milan, the points dropped in front of Verona and Salernitana shouldn't be acceptable. Today they will face Sheriff Tiraspol in an away game. Sheriff aren't that good this season and Roma should win. |

Empoli manager Paolo Zanetti has been sacked after the huge loss against Roma. I think this was the right call for the team. Because so far they haven't collected any points and they have conceded 12 goals while scoring 0. This is just the worst kind of a start you can make honestly. They should be able to do better to stay away from the relegation zone again.
Aside from that Inter are the only team without point loss so far. They are really striking in the Serie A this season. However they struggled too much against Real Sociedad in the Champions League last night. They should consider themselves lucky for scoring the equalizer in the last minutes.
Italian participation in this round of Champions League wasn't successful anyway, maybe only for Napoli which won their game, also in the last minutes of the game. Inter got a draw vs Real Sociedad, Milan got a draw also but vs Newcastle making things more interesting inside the groups. By the way even Lazio was able to bring a draw from an away game by the header of the goalkeeper. |

At the moment when Karim Benzema left Real Madrid, I thought Real Madrid would have hard days because of losing this player in this season.
Especially when we know they had to race in the Champions League against stronger teams.
But Jude Bellingham had an amazing performance in this team so far, and luckily in the last minutes of the game, he scored a goal in this match.
Although Real Madrid won the game but I find a very late and single goal insufficient for a team like Real Madrid facing a team like Union Berlin which isn't that top this season which make things worse. Real Madrid need to be convincing and score more goals. I wonder know what they could do if Bellingham was injured or carded.. |

In the games that will start in 18 hours, there is Sheriff - Roma, Panathinaikos - Villarreal, Ajax - Marseille, Rangers - Real Betis, Olympiacos - Freiburg and Brighton - Athens that look the most competitive.
I find Ajax - Marseille as the hardest since everything could happen literally. In the other matches, Villarreal, Real Betis and Brighton look favourite for me regarding their performance in their leagues for the moment.
For Roma, they should be better than Sheriff, same goes for Freiburg even though they dropped comparing to the past.

Conference League first game in Group stage was between Lille and Olimpija in France and it ended up by Lille victory with 2 goals. Olimpija failed to score goals and their opportunities were low. Lille controlled more the game and they were favourite in this home match anyway.
The remaining games will be played in less than 24 hours with Brugge - Beşiktaş as the most balanced one in my opinion since in the other games I see a clear favourite.

The games were easy for Barcelona
I will like to see how Barcelona will play against bigger teams as the competition continues. If Barcelona can perform like this or any of give a performance that is close to any of their recent La liga perfornance, then I think they would do fairly well. Barcelona in recent times look very strong and I'm rooting for them to go very far in the Champions league this season because whether we'd like to admit it or not, Xavi's current team is a well rounded team. The additions of Gundogan, Cancelo and Felix was a very good decision. One that has already started paying off. Barcelona is better than the previous years, winning big, 5 goals to 0, and so on... This doesn't mean Barcelona is a strong tram since they played vs weak team from Belgium called Antwerp. The real performance will be evaluated when facing teams like Manchester City, Real Madrid, PSG or Bayern Munich.
PSG did a good job scoring 2 goals to 0 vs Dortmund. Such victory will be very important for the second leg game. |

Any strong team can lose and this time Atletico Madrid lost the game against Valencia while were waving to see them winning this game. Diego is still in good form with his teams and they have good performance regardless of their performance in this match. At the moment of writing this post, they are playing against Lazio and they are winning the game with 1-0 results which is more important than in the game against Valencia.
Well I don't consider Champions League superior than La Liga matches for a team like Atlético Madrid. I mean surely Champions League has its charm but we all know that the actual ATM players cannot go far and it would be better securing a place in the first 4 spots in La Liga to be able to join and collect some money again. Now the game vs Lazio wasn't successful for ATM since they failed to win and returned with only one point. Well a positive result for ATM in an away game after all. |

I don’t even rate the players at Chelsea so much, they are young and they still lack experience amongst them. Most of the players in the club currently are new to the league and still battling to settle in with the league’s intensity and high competitive playing style.
Chelsea made a huge mistake letting all the experienced players in the team leave in one transfer window.
Like Chelsea have something to do with players leaving the club as free agents in the previous transfer windows or even by selling the ones that left this summer. The dysfunction in the team made things so messy even players were dropping in performance and market value. Right now Chelsea is just a normal team, nothing more. |

The next match for Stuttgart will be against Darmstadt in Bundesliga and we know a team like Darmstadt can't make trouble for Stuttgart. Currently, in the past games we saw from both teams, Darmstadt is a team in 17th place in the table which can be the reason to say they didn't have a good performance so far and are not in the situation to beat a team like Stuttgart. On the other hand, as you said Stuttgart is currently in a good situation and they start the reason better than we were expecting to see from them.
When I thought a team like Darmstadt couldn't make trouble for a team like M'Gladbach I found the opposite happening. The draw between these two teams was unexpected for me and both scored 3 goals was impressive. M'Gladbach were playing vs 10 players that helped them securing the draw, otherwise they might lost the game. Well it is true M'Gladbach isn't that good anymore as I see while Stuttgart are doing good in Bundesliga this season. That's to say that Darmstadt and Stuttgart match might be tricky although the advantage that Stuttgart seems to have. |

Lyon fans gonna protest soon with the awful results of their team. They already criticised management since the first defeats.. That's one of the worst starting of the season they had in Ligue 1, getting only 2 points after 5 rounds and receiving 7 goals more than what they scored!
Lens is the other disappointing team. In fact all teams are close to each others that 1 round could hugely impact the ranking except for Lyon, Lens and Clermont since they have only 1 and 2 points..

I actually believe that Real Madrid knows very well that they do not have a world-class striker right now. So they will have to make do with what they currently have. They are obviously trying to maximize the outcome with whatever players they have in the squad. They have been able to win every match that they have played so far. So for now it is not a problem that they do not have a world-class striker. Let's see if they can continue performing like this.
Real Madrid is doing what it should be done, winning all games although missing a striker like Benzema or Mbappe. They should get used to that until Mbappe join them in the winter or the next summer. Barcelona is just behind them so every point count right now. The positive point is that Real Madrid defence line didn't receive many goals. Besides the last match was vs Real Sociedad which is a good team. Meanwhile Sevilla got its first points yesterday! |

Yup what a great performance by Roma today. Empoli is not a very weak team so it is not fair for them to lose the match 7-0. Dybala is the most potential player in Roma's team. He alone scored two goals in today's match scoring the first goal just 2 minutes into the game. Roma's win today was very impressive They were likely to win the match but no one predicted that they would win the match by such a big goal margin. congratulation Roma and Thanks for making us enjoy for such a great match
I didn't expect such goals difference between Roma and Empoli although I were sure Roma will win. When I saw the number of goals scored I wondered if Lukaku was the one scoring much or if he scored hattrick. It turns every player scored once and Dybala scored twice. So yeah congratulations Roma for this nice result. In the other matches played yesterday, I was surprised also about Atalanta defeat, I had the feeling that Atalanta will do it especially after they scored first. This surprise was nothing, since Fiorentina is a good team, comparing to the defeat of Sassuolo. This team was leading with 2 goals to 0 vs Frosinone before they lost by 4 goals.. That was a crazy victory from a newcomer team! |

Ten Hag and Pochettino must immediately give their best to the team they care for, they must improve their team's performance to achieve positive results. Victory is really needed to improve their team's position in the standings list as well as save their careers from the threat of dismissal.
Ten Hag debut with Manchester United wasn't that successful in the last season but later he did pretty well with the team. This season, the same thing is being done, not a successful start and hopefully things will improve later. For Pochettino, he isn't that lucky with the teams he managed and his experience with Chelsea right now is mediocre. After 5 rounds, Chelsea and Manchester United are sitting in the 13th and 14th places. The only teams behind them are prone to relegation  |

Lens is doing bad since the start of the season with 0 victory and 4 defeats in 5 games. That's just shameful for a team competing PSG and Marseille in the previous season! Their latest defeat was vs Metz by 1 goal.
Rennes, Lille, Monaco got only one point. It seems to be hard to profit from PSG defeat each time. Marseille will play later vs Toulouse, they are favourite and we will see if they can collect three points or not this time.
It is undeniable that Lens' improved performance last season was also quite surprising, so a drop in performance like now is not unusual. But in this case we can also know that for clubs other than PSG in Ligue 1 all do not have good control over their consistency in each running season which makes me quite sure that things like this will definitely continue to happen. Actually for PSG also applies in this case, but for PSG they have extraordinary resources so that no matter how tough the conditions are they will still return to their position in contrast to clubs other than PSG in Ligue 1 because when they perform badly it is difficult for them to rise because they have resources and finances that cannot be compared to PSG which makes it difficult for other clubs. PSG ressources are their unique card in Ligue 1, nevertheless the other teams are far from being competitive with PSG but also between each other. I mean this round was a big loss for teams like Marseille. They got a goalless draw vs Toulouse.. Such situation should not occur for teams that are hoping to do so. |
