1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: June 19, 2023, 07:59:26 PM
Historically it is like that. It was like a repeating moment. But cryptocurrencies are volatile. Uncertainty is a sure thing here. Maybe altcoin season is coming but I have seen that this year we can't go back to history.

Some of the altcoins that rank high on CMC are not showing any significant movement in a positive direction. I see that the bull market is still far away.
being high ranked doesn't mean it will be high ranked forever. there are some cases that seemed to show that these high ranked coin just doesn't have the capability to climb back up again because
it was quite literally being abandoned by anyone who wanna invests.
people just prefer investing in newer coins that still have relatively low market capitalisation that just have better potential with disregarding all these formerly high rank coin so couldn't really determine the upcoming
altcoin season based on these high ranked coin, after all there's always change of position.

I agree, there are lot more competitive altcoins in the market right now that can probably offer more profits after the hold compared to the leading altcoins that have been in the market for quite some time now and while it is a challenge to find those awarding coins, we should still be informed about the new ones so that we can really filter which coin have the capacity to explode in the upcoming years. But for the bitcoin, I doubt it will be replaced from its throne, it will be always the king of all the coins in the market.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: June 19, 2023, 07:47:34 PM

If Canelo Alvarez will still try and push a rematch while having the same terms and having him in the A-side will indeed make the fight seems impossible to materialize because chasing for a rematch means that he needs to be humble too while accepting the fact that the A-side will not belong to him anymore. After all, he should make all amends as possible so that he can get the approval from Bivol's camp as currently, they are not interested as they have their eyes set to another prize.

I hope he will realize that the terms have to change since this is a rematch, and he wants to redeem himself against Bivol. It will not work if he expects a bigger share in the fight, considering that Bivol is the current champion and the one who defeated him in their previous fight. In my opinion, that's being greedy and unfair in terms of the proper way of negotiation. Although this mostly revolves around money, respect is a must for the fighter who is at the top.

Making a Bivol as their business logo of their camp, we cannot blame them if they try and impose the same terms on Bivol for the said rematch because who knows, Bivols camp might agree with it as Canelo can always offer a much bigger fight than anybody he had fought with. But since Bivol's camp have already said that they are not going to be interested if it's the same term, then Canelo and his camp together with Eddie Hearn should adjust with it so that they can make the fight happen.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 19, 2023, 07:25:08 PM
Bradley Beal went to the Phoenix Suns.
Phoenix Suns and Washington Wizards traded.
Phoenix Suns: Bradley Beal
Washington Wizards: Chris Paul, Landry Shamet and multiple second round picks.

I think it's good for the Phoenix Suns.
Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal these three will be fun to watch.

This trade pretty much guarantees that CP3 will never get a ring. Being traded to Washington and playing on a rebuild roster has to be disheartening for him, but he will be a veteran for the younger players to look up to.

Phoenix on the other hand just got way better. Beal is a beast. Suns got a shooter to go along with Booker, Durant, and Ayton. Should be an interesting season for the Suns next season.

Chris Paul should just accept that because he have had a lot of years and a lot of chance but still, he haven't manage to get himself a ring or joined his close friend, LeBron James either in Heat, Cavaliers or Lakers. Now, it seems that he's already too late to chase for the gold because he is now getting traded for Bradley Beal who is a lot younger than him and most probably, can offer a lot more help compared to him. Hence why the Suns is taking that move, a move without CP3 anymore.
1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul Vs Nate Diaz boxing Aug 5th on Dazn PPV on: June 18, 2023, 09:00:15 PM
The news today is that Nate Diaz was pushing hard for a 10 round fight and finally Jake said OK.  Then Nate reversed his position and says he's fine with a shorter fight.  Not sure what the point of this was, but it seems to me like they rushed into the announcement a little bit and they're still trying to get the details worked out.  I haven't changed my mind though after seeing more footage of Nate boxing.  I think Jake will win and Nate will end the night covered in blood.  If they met outside of a boxing ring though, Nate would choke Jake out in less than a minute and I'd put money on that.

On one hand Diaz is fast, at least he used to be fast. Haven't seen him box but I watched some of his MMA fights. That said, McGregor was outboxing him in his prime, so I don't know...
I remember a few fights where Nate would start standing, trying to box, then get cut fast and start going for takedowns. The problem is this time there will be no going for the legs.

One thing is certain, both these guys are some extreme characters, you either love them or hate them, the way that if they were arguing about some stupid shit I wouldn't know which one to back because they both can act like assholes.

It's like seeing a fight between a snake and an eagle mid-air, which you probably know who got an advantage as it was fought mid-air.

That's just like this match-up, we know that Nate can be very deadly, but this is a different case because the fight will happen inside the boxing ring where Nate's talent cannot be maximized because he is not that accustomed to the sport. So of course, Jake will have an advantage on this and mostly the reason why I'm still inclined to give my vote to Jake Paul even if I know that Nate Diaz will probably give him some difficulties in the ring.

In short, this is fight will belong to Jake Paul and that's without a doubt. It's not that I'm underestimating Nate but it's just hard to vote and bet towards him knowing that he will fight Jake inside the ring where he's not that experienced, he can make a difference in the first few rounds though because in those rounds, he is still fresh and strong but in the longer rounds, Jake will punish him and might KO him too.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 18, 2023, 08:02:08 PM
Ok there is a rumor circulating around that Canelo's next fight won't be Bivol and not against Benavidez as well.

Again, this is just a rumor, it is said that it will be Canelo va Jermall Charlo. Jermall last fight though is 2019, so not sure why Canelo and his camp are picking a inactive fighter and not even a true 168 super middle weight boxer.

Sure Jermall is a middle champion, but he will have to go up in weight and fight Canelo at his best weight.

And it seems that Canelo is really cherry picking his fight now or someone in his team did. So let's see if this fight is going to be developed and will actually going to happen late this year. This fight though might hit Canelo's legacy as he duck Benavidez and then his rematch with Bivol.

So far, there are two things that might explain why Canelo picked Jermall Charlo instead of picking some bad boy in the same division as him or at least active.

1. They chose Charlo to keep Canelo warmed up until they can establish a negotiating position with Bivol because as of now, Bivol shows no interest in Canelo because of the terms being given to them even after upsetting Canelo in their first clash.

2. Canelo's career is in sundown already and what they are doing right now is just taking advantage of Canelo's fame while he can still sell a fight while picking a much safer boxer that will match the equation. I mean, that fight with John Ryder might be a tune-up but that also revealed Canelo's current situation and most probably revealed the likelihood if he will fight heavy named boxers.

This is weird. Because what I am hearing is that Canelo is 90% close to making a deal against WBC cruiserweight champion Badou Jack. Not an easy fight for Canelo despite Jack at 39 years old. But should Canelo lose again, he remains undisputed at 168 while he's got the chance to become a 5-division world champion if he beats Jack.

Anyways, should the rumor of Jermall-Canelo is the one to be made, I wonder if the WBC elevates Benavidez as its champion since he is the interim champ and even fought for an unnecessary eliminator.

And this is actually the dream fight Jermall is wishing for years already. He's been avoiding the real fights, including his supposed mandatory against Mungia (WBC got paid or scared to force the mandatory?), and would rather stay inactive to preserve his virgin record for the Canelo lottery.

The Badou Jack fight is not going to happen,

https://twitter.com/BadouJack/status/1670174720149291012

And so it looks like the Canelo camp is trying to weight drain Badou hehehe. Not really sure what's up with the Canelo camp, but it seems they wanted to have to have a big advantage on this fight by draining Badou and then have rehydration clause inserted.

So the only option in which the rumor that I posted is Jermall Charlo for Canelo.  Grin

Whoa! I literally did not expect something like this. Canelo and his whole camp are trying to be ambitious by setting a fight with Badou Jack because the terms of the fight are really unreasonable. Now it's clear to me that what they are just after now is just the money because they probably know already that Canelo is not the same anymore, and perhaps he will have a hard time keeping up with boxers in the same league as him.
Now that is a very commendable move from Badou Jack for revealing this information to the public.
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: June 18, 2023, 07:39:37 PM
Crawford is the slight favorite, not surprising though and I think the odds although he is the favorite is still a decent one. Just bet 150 usd to win 100 usd. I would not hesitate betting on that, I'm just waiting for the betting odds to be available on the betting sites I'm using then I'll ride on.

Good odds indeed. We know the capability of Terence Crawford to win this match and might dominate Errol Spence.

As a gambler putting some money on Crawford with that odds is already worth taking. Good thing that the odds between them are not that gap. Even those who want to put money on Spence can take advantage of the odds. Spence might be looked a not-tough opponent for Crawford but he's not an underdog to consider. He's also a big thing in the Welterweight but his camp is just associated with dramas.

Still waiting for other betting options as they might give us more worthy odds to pick.

In my own point of view, I will put my money on betting on the match result which is, the fight will end up in a Decision.

I'm seeing this fight will be a closed one and either none of them will allow a knock out win. Although not sure whom I will pick for now.

Both fighters have never experienced a knockdown in their careers, if I'm not mistaken. That indicates that both are durable, so you might be right that this fight will likely end up in a decision, and the busier boxer is likely to come out on top. Based on the respective performances of both boxers in the past, I believe Crawford is more talented than Spence, as Spence does not move a lot, making him an easier target for Crawford, who, in my opinion, is the quicker boxer.

Because of the way Crawford has always been manifested , it may be that it has an imminent advantage, for this reason I think it can win, this is something that manifests according to the degree of training , a Boxer does not win in the ring that night, a Boxer wins in his training, the rest will not win by pure tall, in the boxing and different smuy, things do not give themselves randomly, all those who have practiced boxing know that things are like that A boxer who wants to win as Crawford will not let the opportunity he has gold.

Of course, any fight is fought in the beginning of their preparation because that is a serious factor which allows them to have an upper hand against the other. But in this instance, I don't think that Crawford or Spence is taking a slack or some time-off in the middle of their intensive training because they both know the likelihood of the outcome if they will rest or give some slack. This is a big fight that nobody can afford to lose as they are both champions, the winner of this fight will literally have the pride and accomplishment.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: June 18, 2023, 06:48:00 PM
We all know that he is not getting any younger, so training hard and timing should be just perfect for him before the fight.

I doubt a hard training will take place. More probably, he just needs to maintain his good shape and try to achieve the very best condition he can get until the weigh-in. Hard training isn't a good way to condition Donaire at this point. He will surely be doing his usual routine operation of training every single day.

His experience will tell him what's the best strategy to execute in the fight. He's done with the hard training and no need to undergo that.

Not saying Nonito should just relax. I'm saying what should be effective way is, proper mind conditioning while doing light workouts e.g daily jog etc.

That's their basic job – to stay in condition so they can fight at 100% during the fight night. Donaire is not new to the world of boxing; he has already won multiple championships, so we can expect that he will not get careless with his conditioning. Additionally, we can consider his age as a factor. Hard training may not be advisable for someone his age, but what's important is that he trains the right way, so he can execute the game plan effectively during the fight.

The good thing for Donaire is he is always on the gym literally. Right now he is in Cebu, training at the Omega Gym where Johnriel Casimero also trained. Don't know when they will depart for the states but i think they will do much of his training here as one way also of promoting the Omega Stable and the couple (Nonito and Rachel) also train the boxers here so they might have an agreement with the owner to manage or maybe bring these boxers abroad if they have potentials to be a world champion someday.

Just a little trivia guys hehe, the owner of the Omega gym is also the owner of the Omega pain killer if you are familiar with that one lol.

Thanks for the update, I thought that Donaire is already in the States preparing for this fight on July 15. So he might have been staying this long in the Philippines to train and I think this might be the first time that he will have his full training in his native country?

Probably that is one reason why Donaire is still or can still fight at this age. Because he knows how to take care of his body and as you have said, he has that mentality to go to the gym and train even if he don't have a fight, just to keep himself fit and ready and of course, always be sharp and perfected his craft and tools.
I don't think that it is the case here because sooner or later, Nonito Donaire will have to leave his own country to travel abroad to continue his training as he has to be there for at least 1-2 weeks before the day of his fight to accustom his body first as we know that USA and Philippines do have a different weather even if Donaire is well accustomed already. His body needed it because it's been a while now since he fought and been in the Philippines.
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 18, 2023, 06:24:40 PM
Freaky statistic in my opinion. If a player made 5 successful dribbles, but it was 5 successful attempts out of 100, then all these actions were at a loss for the team. Miracles of univariate analysis when, with the right approach, you can achieve any result you want and pass off bad indicators as good ones. I'm not saying that Messi was consistently bad, but such statistics are only annoying.
Well, we all know that Messi does not want to continue at PSG, obviously PSG has a lot of power worldwide, a lot of money, any article that they can filter in the news to justify a possible PSG departure is possible (this is also mere speculation ) now if they say it as a measure to discredit the Argentine national soccer team a bit, it is something else, it is known that in Europe it hurts a lot that France has not won, things can go in that direction, although it is not something very nice, but It is quite possible, players like Messi, CR7 make enemies out of nowhere, just for playing well, sometimes it is to cause more shock or it can be mere envy.

I don’t know what you meant (maybe you didn’t understand what I wrote), these statistics are just in favor of Messi, but I see that it is completely divorced from reality and does not mean anything. I don’t think that PSG is interested in somehow influencing the reputation of the Argentina national team or Messi - for them, his departure is a competent mutually beneficial decision. He's not worth the money they pay him.

Could be right and could be wrong, Paris Saint-Germain might save a lot of money about Messi's departure because it will be too much to ask that he will still play like he is still in his younger days as he is now getting older as the goes by but that also gives the Paris Saint-Germain a negative reputation because somehow, their power is not that good anymore, I know that they still have a lot of great players like Neymar, Hakimi and Mbappe, but with Messi's departure, that will certainly make a difference.
Yes, the problem with this is that everyone thinks that when the players reach a certain age they are no longer useful, that the youngsters can replace them, if PSG let Messi go, another team will go and buy him whatever They won't care about age, they only want crack and everything he can do, otherwise you have to ask some like Ibrahimovic who, even at 42 years old and still giving it his all, I understand that the statistics were in favor of Messi, but What I want to say is that PSG is not happy with him, they want to get out of it, that is something obvious, what happens is that the Messi case is very covered, it is not finally known what could happen with the future of the Argentine star .

It's not just the PSG because Messi himself also wanted to have freedom away from them because of the toxicity they've showed recently when he visited Saudi Arabia, hence why he was not looking forward anymore to play with the PSG. Well, the truth is, it is the PSG who are turning the tables to look like they are the ones who freed Messi when the in-fact it was Messi who gave up on them.
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 17, 2023, 10:21:47 PM

Hopefully, this is enough punishment to teach Morant. He is throwing away his good fortune by trying to be a thug. If he ever gets involved in a gun incident again, I think his sponsors will back away from him. I hope that does not happen before he learns his lesson. And maybe, while he is suspended he needs to go to therapy and maybe he will not do the foolishness he has done again. He is a baller, and we will hate to see something bad happen to him just because of his foolishness.

Everything is falling into pieces now because if I recall it correctly, before the NBA released its 25 games suspension for Ja Morant, Powerade and Nike already did their move a month ahead or just a couple of days after Morant was seen again holding a gun in a live feed. Anyway, this should be enough for him to start reflecting on his actions and that being thug will not get him ahead in life as that will just make his situation difficult.
1050  Economy / Economics / Re: Should you save, when you are wealthy? on: June 17, 2023, 09:36:16 PM
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as it ultimately depends on an individual's financial goals and circumstances. However, there are several reasons why it may still be advisable to save even when someone is already wealthy. Firstly, unexpected expenses can arise at any time, and having a substantial savings cushion can provide peace of mind and financial security. Saving can help to maintain a certain standard of living in the event of a sudden of income or other financial setback. Savings can help to ensure long-term financial stability and provide opportunities for future investments or charitable giving. Even if someone is already wealthy, continuing to save can help them to achieve their financial goals and leave a legacy for future generations. The decision to save should be based on an individual's unique financial situation and goals. Saving can provide numerous benefits and is often a wise financial decision regardless of one's current level of wealth.
Indeed, everything will return to the individual himself and to what habits and plans the individual has made for his future. And even people who are already rich are usually used to making more mature future plans. So that saving and investing may have become their habit. Because they can become rich, maybe because they have been accustomed to reliable financial management and careful financial planning since they were before they became rich.

So whether it's rich people or ordinary people, all of them must still have careful planning for the future and preparation is needed, of course. and the way is by saving and investing.
Everyone should plan saving according to his position. A wealthy person thinks about how he become more wealthy and go ahead according to the plan. A man can never succeed without a plan. Especially if some one is not financially planned then his future can be under big threat. If one is able to maintain both investments and savings normally he can be financially sound in a short period of time. Agree with you that both rich and poor should keep both savings and investment as much as they can according to their ability.

Besides, most of the wealthy person in the world knows the reality of the world more than we probably do.

We should still save and invest accordingly because if we don't, there will be a time that our wealth will go down the drain as we don't have any passive income that will support our lifestyle and we should always think that what we have is not unlimited too. I agree, there must be a plan for everything and a plan after that as a back-up because we never know what might happen down the road.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: June 16, 2023, 08:40:04 PM
So it could be a bluff on his end so let's see how it will developed in the future. I also seriously doubt that he will just retire. There is also this element of money in this sports and he is always looking for a bigger pay so most likely he will have to play hard and then declare that he is coming back, win-win for him as there will be hype on his name again.
The element of money. Make a fuss and suddenly people will pump a trend about your fight and the champion. It actually works.
Here is the champs Regis Prograis's take on this retirement of Teofimo Lopez.
Quote
“Nah, I think he’s frustrated,” said Prograis (transcribed by Boxing 247) when asked about whether he believed Lopez was officially done with the sport. “He said he got paid a million dollars to fight [Josh Taylor]. That’s terrible.”

“That is terrible money, so I don’t think he’s going to retire.,” continued Prograis. “If me and him fight, he’ll probably get 10 times what he got. So I don’t think he’s going to retire.
https://bloodyelbow.com/2023/06/14/teofimo-lopez-regis-prograis/

Personal issues, mental issues, divorce, and more. There's a lot going on in Teofimo Lopez's life and I doubt he could easily retire with less money in his hands. You are right @Yaunfitda he may be looking for that one big pay that will get him out of that problem. It may not even matter if it's a win or lose, as long as the money is there to save him from all these issues that he had been carrying. We saw him fight Josh Taylor in a dominating way, and if he is still asking if he still has it, yes he does.
Make that money, and retire in a secure way for a better life, I bet even his cornermen are giving him the same advice to end his career in a better position rather than now. Fighting whoever the champion will be after the Regis Prograis versus Danielito Zorrilla match will be the key to that target. It's just two days away.

I believe Teofimo easily earned a minimum of $2 million in that fight which might reach $3 million if the numbers did well.

Prograis is also bluffing. He said he wanted Ramirez and Taylor rematch yet he signed with Matchroom. He said he was offered bigger money by Top Rank but why did he decide to join Matchroom? Prograis is just talking about fighting the top dogs but in reality, he does not want any of them. Now he is challenging Teofimo as if it is easy to make a deal between DAZN and ESPN. And I highly doubt a Lopez-Prograis unification bout can guarantee Teofimo $20 million. Teofimo can actually earn more by giving Kambosos a rematch or a Devin Haney fight or a Ramirez fight.

From what I understand from Regis, he said that maybe Teo Lopez might get just finished his contract with Top Rank and same with Josh Taylor. And later on we find out that Kambosos did renew his contract with Top Rank.

So in any case, he thinks that TR can't offer him fights that he wanted at 140 lbs so he jump on the bandwagon with Eddie Hearn at Match Room.

And who is he fighting for his debut with his new promotional company? Zorilla, Lol, Zorilla is a 8:1 underdog against Prograis. Probably just a get busy or tune up fight for Regis here.

https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/regis-prograis-faces-danielito-zorrilla-on-saturday-wants-subriel-matias-next/264615

So he is defending his WBC belt for the first time against a low rank 140 lbs. So that is the best Match Room can offer for him.  Grin

It seems to be that case and I cannot blame him if he thinks that way because Top Rank has indeed been having some difficulties in the recent years to make a big fight with other big boxers because it is already known that Bob Arum doesn't have any good relationship with Eddie Hear nor with Al Haymon.
Now we know that PBC and Matchroom does have their own big boxers that is also a champion in their respective division and sooner or later, if these two giants will have the most place in every division, then for sure Bob Arum will continue to face hardship because his own boxer cannot achieve their dreams because of the mentioned conflicts.

Needless to say, what we have here are just a mere speculations of what might be Canelo Alvarez's future move because it sure looks like he got a lot of option right now. But seriously though, CW might be too much for him because it was already clear that he is having a hard time fighting against a natural LHW. What more if it's a CW champion, I can't just imagine what will happen

Quote
Anyways, should the rumor of Jermall-Canelo is the one to be made, I wonder if the WBC elevates Benavidez as its champion since he is the interim champ and even fought for an unnecessary eliminator.
As of now, there are no clear signs to Canelo's plan and only their team really knows what's the real score but it will not surprise me anymore if Benavidez will not get his chance even if he's the interim champ because currently, Canelo got the perks of having the organizer, promoter, sanctioning bodies and even judges are on his side.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 15, 2023, 10:13:16 PM
The Chicago Bulls are not expecting Lonzo Ball to be back again, third knee surgery, that's something the management doesn't like.

There's no team that likes it when a player can't play for an extended period of time because of injuries. I recently heard the news that Lonzo might miss most of next season because of this surgery, and that's too bad because the Bulls' management will run out of patience sooner or later. Honestly, Lonzo reminds me of guys like Brandon Roy and Greg Oden, who had good potential but were forced to end their NBA careers too early.

That is absolutely correct. I mean the club has the patience with the injured players but they don't like it all because they are losing money , contracts , views and more whenever a superstar is getting injured no matter the sport. For Lonzo , is hard to tell what his future will bring to him but I do hope he will have a strong comeback in 2 years from now if the recovery process will go without further interventions, because if not , like you said , he might be forced to retire which is sad.

It would be a pity to see him retire while he is still young. I hope they treat him like the Warriors did with Thompson and the Nuggets did with Murray. After both players got injured and rested for at least one season, they came back and won a championship. The Bulls are a great team, with Zach LaVine and DeRozan in the lineup, making them very dangerous. Unfortunately, they haven't been able to play at full strength in the playoffs.

He doesn't need the Chicago Bulls to give him a pity because if he can bounce back from his injury then any team in the league can give him a chance to play because it's the Bulls loss and not his as Lonzo is a natural playmaker who is also good in passing just like his younger brother LaMelo in the Charlotte Hornets. Now, he must focus first from bouncing back because he will be the first player to ever play from having that specific injury.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 15, 2023, 09:35:27 PM
Brazil is a country where people's main dream is to become a professional footballer. They grew up with football since birth. Most of the young people in Brazil are passionate about football. And most of the footballers that Brazil has produced so far have grown up from very poor families. Brazilian talented young footballers choose football as their profession mainly to change their financial situation and do everything it takes to become a professional footballer. It would not be wrong if we call Brazil the factory of footballers because every year many talented players play in different clubs from this country. Football plays a very important role in the country's economy.

In the past, the players used to give equal importance to both the national team and the club. That has changed. Salaries have gone up by 10x or 20x, and therefore the clubs nowadays demand 100% loyalty from the players. Even for major tournaments such as FIFA World Cup, the players are released quite late by the clubs and therefore they don't get much time to get used with the team members. And this is quite evident in the style of play. But then, football is a profession and clubs are the ones who sustain these players. So they have limited options.

Yes, they may be the best players in the world but let's not forget that football is played by a team consisted by various players and not only played by one single player which means that you need to be with them to make yourself accustomed and comfortable to their nature especially in friendly games so that chemistry will be built as well as trust.

Being the best is literally a waste if there is no chemistry between you and the whole team but we cannot blame them because just like what is mentioned above, it's the club's fault for releasing them late with almost few time to practice with the whole team.
1055  Economy / Economics / Re: Rent or buy real estate - let's have a debate on: June 15, 2023, 10:18:59 AM
For me, there's no debate on the issue. Buying real estate is always better than renting. I can list my own reasons. First off, it will be yours. That you won't be renting forever is enough reason for me to favor buying your own house.

I was actually happy when I read the book The Richest Man in Babylon and found out that one of the tips mentioned was to "own your home." I couldn't agree more.

You can renovate it freely, adjust the design later on according to your own taste and needs, use it as a collateral for a loan, sell it, and so on. You can do whatever you want with it. It is frustrating to always defer to your landlord on all decisions about the place you're living in.

Moreover, with inflation, what you will be paying in the years to come for your own house will actually be worth less.
I have to agree with this. Buying a property is always an advantage than renting the whole time as your money will only go into waste, knowing in the end you don’t own anything. That is why if you have enough funds to finance buying a real estate, then never hesitate to stick to your plan. It could make you spend huge amount today but after a year or two, if you consider that property to be a source for business, then it’s going to give you high investment returns that may be 10x or 20x from your investment capital.
1056  Economy / Economics / Re: The cost of living is trying to kill the living on: June 15, 2023, 09:42:21 AM
but everyone needs living expenses to at least allow him to buy what is needed . what they killed was not because of the cost of their lives. but because of the will of their prestige who want to have expensive things like those of their friends. this thing can kill him. if it's just to meet the necessities of life the cost won't be expensive, but if it's for goods to cover prestige it's very expensive.
You have a good point. Even if the basic necessities be it goods or services have undeniably become more costly these days, as long as you have your own source of income, you will get to live and survive. However, if you aim things that are above your means, like adopting luxuries in life because other people are into it, then you will really struggle in your finances and won’t be able to live your life according to what you want. But if you just chose to live within your means, live simply just like before, I guess that will never cause your life to struggle.
1057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto another form of gambling? on: June 14, 2023, 09:59:08 PM
I was kinda surprised when I read the news from Financial Times that the cross-section of the UK's MPs that seems to see it as needless to regulate cryptocurrency suggested that it should be viewed as "a form of gambling" and be regulated as such.

Without relying on my own understanding of "gambling," I quickly used the help of the Oxford Dictionary through Google, and it states;

1. Play games of chance for money; bet.
2. Take risky action in the hope of a desired result.

The second one seems to fit crypto best, so it's clear they know what they are saying.

Now, do you agree that crypto should be seen as a form of gambling? And if this eventually comes through, what should we expect as the constraints it might still bring to the crypto space?
No. Crypto will never be a form of gambling because it will never rely on luck and chances alone. You are investing in crypto, particularly in bitcoin, because a lot have been experiencing real and high profits on it. And not that you only invest for luck, but you also do a lot of prior research about crypto and bitcoin before you take the risk in investing. So there’s a lot of preparation before you decide to invest, unlike gambling that you can always deal with it without the need for any research or strategy development. The reason why gambling is designed to make you lose than to see you in profits.

Op thanks you for bringing this to notice of all. I thought NFT airdrop is no long in existence. This information now not only for newbies but also to other ranks in the forum.
Scammers always have a trick to scam unsmart people but it is hard for them to scam the smart people. Because those people will detect them once they see them. And one thing is to avoid any fast way of making money online. If anyone wants to make money online fast then the person must be scam by them. Stay away from any trap from those guys.
Yes, thank you OP for bringing this topic. Not all of us here are aware of this especially for newbies who always take advantage once there are huge money involved. And the fact that airdrops are not that reputable unlike before, then we should try to spare from it seeing a lot of victims today have lose their money on airdrops that promise them for high returns. You can always be profitable by buying bitcoin, but never in engaging in airdrops that will only make your capital at risk.
1059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gambling is different from trading on: June 14, 2023, 09:35:45 PM
Yes. Gambling is completely different from trading since trading will make you more profits and able to grow them more but in gambling, the more you decide to gamble more, the more you become susceptible to losing. And while trading follows certain skills and strategies in the market, gambling do not have any of them. As long as you have luck, you can always gamble and end up winning or losing your capital.

The idea of accepting Bitcoin payments may be a good idea, but it is somewhat difficult to implement in practice if people in your area are not familiar with the Bitcoin payment method.

You can try another idea, why don't you issue T-shirts, for example, with the Bitcoin logo on it? It will be an attractive idea on the one hand, and on the other hand, it may help attract the attention of your region to Bitcoin. Perhaps it will be the first clothing store to do this idea.
Accepting bitcoin payment may certainly work especially if there are people around who are aware and are active on keeping bitcoin. That is a good start for you to establish new profits through bitcoin usage. And since you start accepting bitcoin in your store, then yes it could also lead to a good promotion selling stuff about bitcoin like printed logos about bitcoin. Or simply, feel free to accept bitcoin logo printing as that will attract the people particularly for those who know well and are into bitcoin community.
