1041  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: February 03, 2017, 03:54:20 AM
You can earn more than 0.1btc per week but it depends upon your skill and how many posts are posted by you per day.

If you mean earning 0.1 btc through signature campaign, its not possible. Even if you are expert in writing articles and replying to threads your earnings through signature campaign ain't enough to earn 0.1 btc. You'd rather prefer to earn USD from freelance job sites than in btc if you aim to earn that much a week.  Campaign participants only earn about $30 a week thats the max i know.
Skills like SEO and people graphic design skills earn more than $200 a week - learn the skills if you want to earn that good.

Yes it is impossible in signature campaign even if youre a high ranking one . If you're an expert on writting articles why not just sell your articles there are many sites like that if you just search them on google although you won't get bitcoin . Freelancing in bitcoin often involves programming, graphics design and such so if you don't have skills like that better earn in USD
You can also add affiliate link mate if you dont have skills but you got a lots of friends in your fb and twitter you can invite them to join you with every website that offers rewards especially with bitcoi  casinos many offer good rewards after you ref deposits btc corresponding rewards will be added to you. Just dont limit your self think of what you can offer and what you can do best.

the affiliate thing is not going to work unless you get lucky and find someone who really spends lots of money on these places such as casinos. so far i have gone a couple of affiliates but they all play with faucet and nothing is going to go in my pocket that way.
1042  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: February 03, 2017, 03:49:07 AM
i don't think it is time to say goodbyte to under $1000 prices at this point.
let's see how much demand is there and how high price can go and then decide. right now it seems to be good, the next correction will determine the new bottom which will certainly be at least $950 and most probably at $1000
1043  Economy / Speculation / Re: it IS time for rise on: February 03, 2017, 03:41:34 AM
It's good to see an increase, but there won't be many buyers as the price keeps going up. We're going to hit a ceiling at some point. I won't buy at these prices. I'm waiting for the correction.

It will always be good for us who holds some bitcoin to see its price to increase. Yesterday upon checking preev the price is at $964 and now upon checking the price is $974 but earlier the price reached up to $980. Few more days and bitcoin will reach back to $1,000 and there's no doubt about it. Just keep the faith people.

You're right, it hit $1000. I still think it's too high for me to buy. We'll have a correction at some point.

the correction was when price went down the first time and it was followed by a wave of Chinese FUD and price went to $750. if you wanted to buy you should have bought back then. or even when price was stable at 920
now we are on the rise and correction will happen after a huge rise maybe coming back next time will be back to $1100
1044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50,000 unconfirmed transactions on: February 03, 2017, 03:35:23 AM
what the hell is happening again?
the frequency of the 50K+ unconfirmed transactions happening is increasing. before it was once a month or every other month but it seems like we are experiencing it every week.
1045  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin be created by Russia or China? on: January 30, 2017, 04:32:05 AM
who cares, bitcoin is an open source currency that anybody around the world can use decentralized and secure.
and it is highly possible that it will never change anything in the world of fiat if it becomes big.
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 50 Dollars a Day! on: January 30, 2017, 04:22:18 AM
I don't see how you can make 50 per day unless you are a professional poker player playing against live opponents. Online games are just to hard to make a profit at all.

Professionals also can make one or two times but one daily basis if anyone can make money then it is not called as a gambling instead people would have called it as an investment. In any gambling game, one should have some kind of luck to win the bet or game, if not very quite hard to make money from gambling. If one want to make regular money then gambling is not the place but should work some other places or invest in some other products.

well professionals are different and i think we shouldn't even be talking about them here. they will make money that we never can. and also they don't make $50 a day they make a big amount in a tournoment that covers them in the whole month and also they do other things to make money on the side as a professional poker player for example.
that is true that that are making a good money, may be many more from 50 USD per day, but way not we? i think it is difficult not doubt but not impossible. if get good experience and skill in gambling i think a time will come when would make more. but we mush also take it in our mind that even if get a lot of experience and skill still the we will mostly depend on our luck, which can also effect the wining and loosing in gambling.

isn't it obvious why?
because you have to dedicate your life to something that is too risky. first you spend years learning and mastering a skill based game such as poker and then you need to accept all the risks, all the losses and the down time of it and then enter it as a professional. and they make big bets meaning they also lose big amounts.
1047  Economy / Speculation / Re: The only way to get rich is by riding the next big alt pump on: January 30, 2017, 04:10:08 AM
All the alts going mad, except the one I have. Is allways the same history, it seem I cant make some profit out of this.

that is the problem with altcoins that OP forgets.
when you invest in bitcoin, you can be sure with a good certainty that it will be successful and you will make some profit eventually.
but if you invest in altcoins the certainty level is too low, and there is always a high risk of losing a big part of your investment.

and making a small profit is better than nothing or losing.
1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50,000 unconfirmed transactions on: January 30, 2017, 04:04:27 AM
Here we go again. Another transaction that was made over 3 hours ago and still no confirmations made. If this takes days then this is a first for me. I might tell Kwukduck I am sorry and that all hell will break loose in the forum soon.

whenever you are talking about a transaction that wasn't confirmed you should either include the transaction ID or tell us its "fee per byte" for all we know you either sent it with zero fee or a fee that is big but still too small for your byte size.

and Kwukduck is just saying what he says to create panic among newbies and force them to panic sell their coins to him.
1049  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Do i have to upgrade each time a new version is released? on: January 29, 2017, 04:20:10 AM
You do not have to upgrade, but it is always a good idea to do so.
In general, you will pay less fees with recent wallet formats.

If you encounter a bug, though, please upgrade, before you request support.

For developers, there is nothing more irritating than users who are complaining about bugs that have been fixed a year ago.
It feels like being said: "I don't give a shit about your work".

thanks for your reply Thomas, i mostly meant this as my cold storage, it is a bit more work to upgrade it and a bit stressful sometimes. and since i rarely use the cold storage i'd rather postpone upgrading as long as possible.

but yeah i see what you maen, i always search if i encounter a bug to see if there was a solution, then i make the back-ups and then upgrade,... and then ask if it wasn't still fixed.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: January 29, 2017, 04:04:06 AM
Hello Guys, I would like to know you're understanding about online gambling and real life gambling. Since here in the philippines online gambling is now illegal. I'm just curious what's the difference about this too. Why make online gambling illegal?
Actually the main difference in these two is only of virtual and practical bet .
In inline game like virtual gambling we have only option of bet for bet high/low ( which is about the same meaning whether we are playing any virtual casino game ) but these games involve the house edge system .
But opposite of the above the real life practical games are fully depends upon the outcome of the real life games but these are purely illegal in my opinions because for a true sports game lover it is a shaming things that gambling like things making games more crucial .
( many of the bookies trying to contact the high level players to make some little mistakes that is very disappointing thing for the fans of player , but due to best security of the game association making the sports games are best and fully heartily played )

whether online of offline, the difference is in the type of game you play.
if you play dice, roulette,... you will have same experience even better experience in online games.
but if you want to play a game like poker then there is a whole different story. the online version sucks.
1051  Economy / Economics / Re: John McAffee: "In 2 years Years btc will only have 25% of the Crypto MarketCap" on: January 29, 2017, 03:56:47 AM
i doubt that this can happen because of two things.
coins with big market cap such as ethereum can not be created every day and be a successful manipulation to keep it up.
and coins that are good enough to go to high prices have not yet happened. and i don't see any of these two change in only 2 years to take up such a big portion (75% of market cap) out of bitcoin's hands.
1052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Heading for a brick wall. SegWit failed. on: January 29, 2017, 03:50:22 AM
FUD. I have made many transactions all with .0001 to .00015 each in fees and I have never encountered a transaction that took more than a day. Sometimes it took a few hours longer but it did not take very long. If what you say is true then there should be hell in this forum going on right now. Relax everything is alright.

The only reason there's no 'hell' on this forum is because the vast majority is delusional and everybody keeps telling everybody else to look the other way and everything is fine. Meanwhile the house is burning.

Explain to me how the refusal of SegWit adoption and currently continuous full blocks are not a big problem, please enlighten me!

the reason for that is because we are sending transactions so we know how much it will take to confirm our transactions.
yeah there are temporary times that there is a spam attack like recently and the mempool gets big, but it will last a couple of days and we are back to normal again.

if you hadn't sold your bitcoin on $1 you could send some bitcoin and see that Cheesy
1053  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: January 29, 2017, 03:45:18 AM
you can never find something that works as two things at the same time. right now if you have bitcoin then you have a good investment and a good currency at hand.
any other investment that you want to spend you have to liquidate first. you can't go to a shop with gold and tell the shop to cut an ounce from your gold bar and sell you something in return. but you can do that with bitcoin.
1054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how to explain bitcoin advantage ?? on: January 29, 2017, 03:39:16 AM
1) for bitcoin faucets
2) bitcoin news

if these two are the things you have in mind then it is best that yor brother didn't help you.
because
1) owning a faucet is not better than using a faucet. it is not going to make you any money, and mostly it is waste of your time
2) there are enough news sites that know how to get traffic, your news site will never come up and you will end up click-bait-posting to generate traffic and finally give up. again waste of your time.

i don't want to disappoint you but you better think of other things.
1055  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much BTC is required for trade? on: January 28, 2017, 04:12:28 AM
What is the minimum amount of BTC required to trade on Exchange sites?
Our goal is to earn dollars. At least how much BTC should start with trading on Exchange sites.

you can start with any amount you want, most of the exchanges allow very small orders since it is bitcoin and it has 8 decimal places. so it is up to you on how much you want to invest. it can be $1, or $1000+ based on how much risk you are willing to take.

How long can I take the main money to 10 times after starting with 0.01 BTC?
0.01 BTC yi 0.1 Is it possible to do BTC? If so, how long can it be done?

if it is your first time trading, then not so soon. because you first have to learn how things work, lose some money then learn from your mistakes and then start making profit slowly.
it is possible to turn 0.01 to 0.1 but takes time and experience. you can't just trade and be sure you will make it!
1056  Economy / Speculation / Re: How can the impact of Bitcoin prices ahead of the Lunar New Year? on: January 28, 2017, 04:05:38 AM
Bitcoin will go down in the near term - technical analysis refers to short term price volatility trends and we're at the highest points of the price range.

you can't generalize these things. it always depends on the situation. so bitcoin price can go up or down in near (short) term. that is how price goes up in the long.

Quote
But to the OP, what does the lunar new year have to do with any of this?

it is never the events that cause a change in price but instead what people expect from them.
with that said, this event is not so important from what i have seen and it is mostly being talked about here.

1059  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: January 27, 2017, 07:40:25 AM
to be honest i have no plan on selling bitcoin for many years.
it is mainly because i do believe in bitcoin future and i think the price can be much higher than what we are seeing these days. i believe it is still the same as 2009 and 1 cent bitcoin we will look back in 2020 and say i wish i would have bought more bitcoin when price was $1500 Cheesy
but also i am holding bitcoin for spending, if i find  a place that accepts bitcoin i will use it speciall if a good discount is involved.
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a gambler addicted? on: January 27, 2017, 07:30:46 AM
I think that usually a guy which play games for a long time, risk to became a gambler addicted. Which method you use for stop plaiyng when you understand that you are near to became addicted?

i don't agree with this. it doesn't matter if you gamble for 1 second or 1 month. you become a gambling addict if your personality is an addict's personality.
if not you can gamble for a long time, manage your money and limit the risks while having fun with this game and never lose more money that you can afford to lose.
but if someone has an addictive personality he is going to become a gambling addict the first bet he makes but he wouldn't know it until he has lost lots of money.
