That's the one.
1043  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory to CoinBase on: November 16, 2017, 10:01:22 PM
Update to 0.96.4 RC1 and try again.

1045  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Transactions Timing Out on: November 16, 2017, 01:43:29 PM
You need to update to 0.96.4 RC1 to be able to use Core 0.15.1. You can broadcast manually, that doesn't matter in the long term.
1046  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory to CoinBase on: November 16, 2017, 01:42:42 PM
In Armory, right click the transaction and pick "Bump Fee".
1047  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - and what about notebook theft? on: November 15, 2017, 04:26:27 PM
Your notebook should not have private keys on it.
1048  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Using Armory on the BCH chain on: November 15, 2017, 04:25:40 PM
the other meta issue around harvesting one's BCH is this recommended procedure to move one's BTC away from a private key before sending BCH to a BCH address.  i completely understand this recommendation as one doesn't want to risk losing their BTC using a crude workaround if they don't do this first.  however, a BCH tool, like Trezor's, that doesn't require this beforehand would be helpful to refine the tool to the point where this doesn't have to be done at all.  it's a problem b/c many of us have hundreds to thousands of private keys with BTC/BCH stored on them and the current recommended process requires us to effectively double the number of tx's to harvest BCH while at the same time risking anonymity (by address merging out of convenience).

You have to go through this step to preserve the security model of Bitcoin to begin with. I'm not pulling these recommendations out of nowhere.

Or get on their slack and ask them to point you at the changesets. I'm not going there. They didn't bother extending me an invite, I'm not gonna bother getting one.
1050  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: There will be a Bitcoin Gold (BTG) signer? on: November 15, 2017, 03:40:10 PM
Yeah so Ima have to get on their slack and ask directly or read their code? Already deterred =D
1051  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: There will be a Bitcoin Gold (BTG) signer? on: November 15, 2017, 03:25:16 PM
Do they have documentation on their replay and wipeout protection?
1052  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: There will be a Bitcoin Gold (BTG) signer? on: November 15, 2017, 01:36:31 PM
Valuation is abysmal atm. I don't know what has to be done to support BTG, someone would have to point me at their repo/docs. I'm really taking this from the perspective of lowest effort possible atm, as these forks are more likely to ruins users' privacy than to actually net them anything. Not that I am indulging in hand holding, but don't expect me to spend significant time on this currently. Aren't they still in premine anyways?
1053  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Cannot create offline transaction when trying to send MAX coin from wallet on: November 13, 2017, 09:19:19 PM
Post your armorylog.txt for review.
1054  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Updated Offline Bundle for Raspberry Pi on: November 13, 2017, 09:16:47 PM
I've been slacking on that, I'll deal with it at some point.

1057  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Windows 10 Green Screen of Death GSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL launch Armory on: November 10, 2017, 10:53:49 AM

Rolled Windows Update (Insider Preview) back to Build 17025.   Problem has now gone away.

Possibly related to firewall filtering of outbound network connects (unproven).    I will track windows forums and see if any likely direct cause turns up.

Armory does not try to connect to anything but localhost. Only Core creates sockets over the WAN.

I got to the page you said was 2years out of date from the Armory tab at

It's been a mess, can't be helped. That page belongs to the previous maintainer that shutdown in 2015. They sometimes mirror my release on their page still.

You also mentioned verfying the signature, can you give link to a "how to" for this ?

It says pretty clearly that "Only Armory 0.96+ can spend from" those addresses...

Not to mention P2PKH is still the default script type for Armory. It requires user intervention to generate a nested address (to my great dismay, I'd rather set compressed key addresses by default or SW for everyone's benefit, but I have to account for backwards compatibility).
1060  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Can't export private keys on: November 09, 2017, 05:44:12 PM
How should i inform myself? Where is it written that export won't work?
And does anyone requries from you knowledge about theory of relativity to use GPS? Or quantum physics to use laser?
Please take a look at Daedalus in free moment, you will understand what i mean.

Again, handling private keys is for expert users. The software shows you your private keys just fine. Instantiating these keys into the relevant script is the responsibility of the recipient software. If they don't support Armory script types, then you have to fill that gap or I have to do it for you. I won't do it cause that's a waste of my time. Therefor it's on you.

You are somehow trying to fly a chopper with no expertize and complain that the manufacturer should have informed you that starting the engine doesn't automatically take you to your destination. I am not in the business of holding hands. As a matter of fact I'm in no business at all since you got this stuff for free. Now learn about bitcoin transactions or forsake your BTG. I don't care either way.

But please, try and demonstrate how it is my responsibility to deliver this feature on my own time and dime because you can't be fucked to spend the 2 days it takes to learn about crafting raw transactions.
