1041  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Beginning of the End ! on: January 17, 2014, 04:34:39 PM
Mining factor fell to 22 cens per 1Gh at 24h, and the Bitcoin price continues to fall.
For next 7 days we will have the new mining factor -30% in the best case 15 cents per 1Gh at 24h.
(if BTC price stay at 900 USD)

View Screen Capture

Producers ASIC technology will massively to leave the Bitcoin mining,
when mining factor reach red line of 5 cents per Gh at 24h, and there is the beginning of the end.

Wow!  This is certainly frightening confirmed bad news.  Thank you for letting us all know.  To help consolidate all the bad news into one place so that people can easily see just how bad things are, please post your news here.

Posting your bad news there will give it the most visibility and will help the greatest number of people know how bad the market is so that they can intelligently choose to SODL all their bitcoins and SHOTR bitcoins if they don't have any.  Thank you for your service to the community.  Please continue to post more confirmed bad news as you discover it.

This is the reality

Absolutely.  Thank you for the confirmed analysis.  Please post it in my bad news thread, as it will get the most exposure and help the most people there.

1043  Economy / Speculation / Re: SHOTRING BITCOIN: This is a good idea right now on: January 17, 2014, 03:27:47 PM
How do you go about shotring practically? I invested back in April, ended up hodling and broke even after the crash, hedl onto my coins until a few weeks ago. Then withdrew my initial investment plus a bit of profit into my bank account and have a nice amount of fiat sat in bitstamp waiting to buy again. So the only money I'm now playing with is profit.

My plan was to wait until after the Chinese New Year and invest again if Bitcoin starts to steadily rise again.

Oh gosh, there are lots of great and reputable SHOTRING websites out there.  I'm a little busy at the moment, but I'll try to compile a good list of all the best ones and post it here.
1044  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: Triangle break up or down? on: January 17, 2014, 03:24:42 PM
Update:  Sell signal or false breakout?  Many traders like to wait for a complete bar below the lower trendline to comfirm.

Nice clear lines, thanks.  Very powerful SHOTRING signal there.
1045  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC/USD - | Bitcoin - Dollar | - Supports begin to be tested. on: January 17, 2014, 03:22:23 PM

Supports begin to be tested.

The breaking of the support $886, the price can go to the next support $830.

Chart of 240 minutes

Blog - Bull And Bear Markets

Good analysis, thank you.  Please post your shotring successes here.
1046  Economy / Speculation / Re: SHOTRING BITCOIN: This is a good idea right now on: January 17, 2014, 03:21:00 PM
I shorted at 831 yesterday

Well done.  You're going to make a lot of money.
1047  Economy / Speculation / Re: SHOTRING BITCOIN: This is a good idea right now on: January 17, 2014, 03:15:27 PM
I agree with proudhon. Bitcoin is in an epic bubble. When it finally pops, a lot of people are going to lose a lot of money
I agree it's in a bubble, but this bubble might well easily extend into the 100 billion (market cap) realm before the sentiment reverses … Just something to keep in mind.

Also, in case you hadn't noticed, proudhon is being sarcastic.

Hey, you!

Well, uh, not if we SHOTR in the best way with the highest possible margin levels.
1049  Economy / Speculation / SHOTRING BITCOIN: This is a good idea right now on: January 17, 2014, 03:07:38 PM
With so much bad news, as documented here and here, and so much more to come, combined with the fact that bitcoin's utility has been exhausted and its market share is saturated, it's pretty clear that the only way from here is down, in virtually all time frames (definitely medium to long term, it might bounce up just a little, but it will only be a temporary wobble on the way down).  Many of us around here know this, and we post about it often in order to help people.

This thread is a place to discuss the best ways to SHOTR bitcoin for maximum profit.  Post you tips and best successes here.

CRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

TIME TO BUY SOME RIPPLES !!!
lol ripples

I did some analysis yesterday and found a very low number of confirmed foreign language bad news sources about ripples, which to me suggests it's a buy right now.
1051  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy a car now or invest and buy later? on: January 16, 2014, 11:47:15 PM
This is an interesting question.  Given the inevitable collapse of the market under the weight of all the bad news and the fact that bitcoin reached saturation and its maximum usefulness in 2013, I'd say buy a care because the money you put into a care will be worth more than the same money put into bitcoin in the long term.

You must take this seriously!
1052  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - Continues to move sideways on: January 16, 2014, 11:45:26 PM
The market is beginning its collapse.

Gosh.

Well, right, continuing, I guess is more accurate.  The burden of all the confirmed bad news is getting too great.

Silk Road dump incoming - 26,000 coins.  FBI has said they are going to sell.  Judge has approved sale.

Thank you for this confirmed bad news.  I invite you to post it in this thread here so to keep all the confirmed bad news in one places, so that people can easily see just how bad things have gotten and are getting.  With this new news, I expect we'll begin setting new 2014 lows, and will continue to do it on a monthly basis, at least.
1055  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 16, 2014, 04:52:12 PM
Unless, of course, ubber-bulls and hodlers are  Grin

As we've recently seen from good sources, Wall Street isn't coming to bitcoin and is moving on to interest in 3D printing and self-driving cars, as those technologies clearly hold more promise than bitcoin.  Once everyone internalizes that fact, the price will enter free fall.  Shotring now will command fantastic returns, especially at very high margin levels.
1056  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - Broken trend line on: January 16, 2014, 04:49:34 PM
I keep seeing people draw these funky lines that look like other lines on graphs, and making corresponding "predictions", but they never come true.

Help!

Sure they do.  Just Google around and you can fine plenty of confirmed technical analysis about bitcoin.  Having said that, confirmed bad news, especially foreign language news, especially in non-western languages, is the best means of seeing where the price will go.  Given all the recent confirmed bad news, all confirmed by good sources, and much of which is in Chinese, the predicted and proven trend is dramatically down.
1057  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 16, 2014, 01:40:04 PM
Looks like there are some rumours abound in China atm, Huobi is acting really twitchy.

There are no Chinese rumors, only confirmed bad news facts from trusted sources.  Sell now!
1058  Economy / Speculation / Re: Proudhon...can you please send me 1 BTC as you promised? on: January 15, 2014, 11:01:58 PM
And besides, it's only a matter of time before we get confirmed news from sources that the governments of the world will imprison anyone who holds bitcoin. Really, I'm just looking out for myself.

Holy shit. I don't want to go to jail! What should I do?

Is it plausible to say that although blockchain and bitstamp could prove that I have had bitcoins I currently don't have any because I accidentally lost the private keys?

Hmm, let me talk to Satoshi and Matonis and I'll get back to you on that.
1059  Economy / Speculation / Re: Proudhon...can you please send me 1 BTC as you promised? on: January 15, 2014, 10:27:54 PM
It's not the first time proudhon bets against bitcoin. I hope he has learned a lesson.

Thankfully, Adam generously let me off the hook for that one. There was another one, if I recall, that I ended up paying out on, But I'm a little afraid to go digging around.
1060  Economy / Speculation / Re: Proudhon...can you please send me 1 BTC as you promised? on: January 15, 2014, 10:24:50 PM
Then, be honest and send it back to him, the price didn't yet cross the 1000$ on bitstamp/btc-e.

In 2013? Of course it did!

Yes, it definitely did a month or so ago. And, I meant to pay him back then but I just forgot in the shuffle of the holidays and a busy work schedule.

Seriously guys, please lay off of him about sending it back. He hasn't hassled me about it, he's been patient about it, and I just want him to have it.

And besides, it's only a matter of time before we get confirmed news from sources that the governments of the world will imprison anyone who holds bitcoin. Really, I'm just looking out for myself.
