Ah another scam site...same as halvmining both scams....any url to them should be blocked by the forum automatically.

1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Eth 2.0 mining on: December 03, 2020, 06:16:16 PM
I guess I got the whole 2.0 thing wrong, my thought was once Eth 2.0 got launched there will be no ETH 1.0 anymore but I was wrong, whattomine is still showing Ethereum mining data and miners are still mining Ethereum, I thought the old Eth will seize to exists instantly after the upgrade, some Ethereum miners already sold their rigs because they thought they won't be mining ETH anymore in December, so confused
ETH 1.0 ends at Phase 2. We will wait it at least for 2 years. More problems for miners are reduced commissions for miners and reduce of the block reward. But lets wait. Mine and wait Smiley

So, all the hype, all the hope was for nothing?

Most commenters on twitter had said when Eth POS is launched in DEC. of 2020 the transaction cost would reduce to next to nothing.

So, we still got at least 2 more yes to go in the hands of ETH network congestion?! What a disappointment!

From a miners point of view its good it takes years.....this is a mining sub forum.
PoS is not good for miners.

1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ethos ETH miners stop mining at epoch 352 on: December 03, 2020, 04:41:55 PM
If you want to run ETHOS and mine on 4gb cards its simple.

Load miner-manager for ethos....

https://github.com/cynixx3/third-party-miner-installer-for-ethos

Then once installed simple do a miner-manager phoenixminer install

and it will mine on 4gb cards no issue AMD or nvidia.

My rigs are all up and mining away no issue.  Even have claymore V15.0 running with 6/8 gb cards....no issue.

Most likely you were running the default etherminer.

In fact just posted in PM thread here screen shows of my 4gb amd cards 570s still hitting 31mhs this morning no issue.

1067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.3b: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: December 03, 2020, 04:19:40 PM
I would really love to see a screen shot of ANYONE that can pump out more than 30 MH/card on (12+ per rig) RX 580 cards and hash stable for more than 24 hrs. No matter what I try it just will not happen. As soon as I push to 30 or higher, the rig will start to crash. I used to tune individual cards and get higher hash rate but that function has been broken since forever ago. So I would really love to see if anyone out there is actually able to achieve this.
Here You Go man: My 12 Card RIG with 8* RX580 8GB, RX5700, 3* RX5700XT

I appreciate your screen shot but it only shows your rig at 47 min. I was asking if anyone can show a rig running 30+ MH for more than 24 hr.

Side note: Did PM ever fix the problem with not being able to set cclock and mclock for individual cards?

Here you go.  Had restarted late on Tuesday after repasting a gpu....

Hy,

I'm new at Phoenix, Hashrate is lower than on claymore but it works. So I try for dual mining, but didn't get a hashrate on the secand coin.
Copy the command line from the readme for dual mining and added my adresses.
Any tips, thx

What are you trying to dual mine....some coins like zil only mine for a short period every few hours.

Hi,

Blake2s

ETH on ethermine.org ETH, Blake2s on Nicehash:
      PhoenixMiner.exe -pool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 -pool2 ssl://us1.ethermine.org:5555 -wal YourEthWalletAddress.WorkerName -proto 3 -dpool blake2s.eu.nicehash.com:3361 -dwal YourBtcWalletAddress -dcoin blake2s

B2S New Jobs getting in but speed is always zero. ETH Speed is on 39MH/s on vega 56, with claymore it was 41.That's OK for me and it looks stable.
thx

Wondering if its NH that is giving the issue.  Have you tried a Black2s pool instead of NH?  Even if just to confirm/deny its NH.

As for Vega 56 on PM im getting 47.76mhs on one and 49.21mhs  on another.  (first one is a rev 1 vega but both are air boost).  Wattage is around 0.812mv so about 115watts
core 1003 / mem 940 on mmpos Smiley

could you share full details on your settings?

Thats the settings...stock cards (vega56 msi air boost blower cards) core 1003 / mem 940 / 812 mv .... using mmpos fans are at 50% cause these are older dirty cards...one is hynix one is samsung memory and because they are vegas...trm....  for all my other amds i run PM but vegas...they are “different”.  Using Ethos i couldnt have them in a rig with 5XX series or it would not mine...it was either vegas or 5xx series not both.  MMPOS doest have that issue.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Diff on: December 02, 2020, 10:43:08 PM
Just to point out ive still got several rigs on linux (ethos) and mining 4 and 8 gb cards on PM 5.0e and 5.1c even right now on Ethos 1.3.3 released October 9th 2018

Most of the issues are with the OS and space they take up and reserve.
My old Ethos keeps kicking it and will probably only stop mining 4gb cards once the actual dag is larger than 4gb.

1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: December 02, 2020, 08:43:10 PM
After seen lot of people having problems now with Claymore, and the big crash of yesterday I have made an easy table of how to continue mining with another miner, that is able to mine with Nvidia and AMD.

....
....
....

or just switch to PhoenixMiner_5.3b_Windows , you basically can use the same Start.bat file , replace
EthDcrMiner64.exe to PhoenixMiner.exe and change the tag before your wallet address from -ewal to -wal .

If you are on windows you should run the miner program as a admin first ...

Completely true... also in the download of lolMiner you have also bat files for ETH, ETC, BEAM, Equihash and other big quantity of algos... and the Zombie Mode for ETH 4Gb cards too.
This smells like spam. I am just LOL on your statement that lolminer is better than Phoenixminer.

Can you show where jgonzi made the statement you accuse him of?  Ive not found it.  I see jgonzi listing ways to run PM or LOL for users with problems on claymore.

I also note the conversation quoted above where you were both disrespectful to claymore and handed your ass in a polite manner by him for your ignorant and false claims.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE THAT CLAYMORE IS/WAS SHOWING 1.5% HIGHER HASHRATE THAN THE REAL. IF YOU CAN'T COUNT YOUR SHARES FROM YOUR LOG FILES AND THE AVERAGE STATED HASHRATE FROM CLAYMORE THEN YOU MUST HAVE A SERIOIUS BRAIN DAMAGE!!!

By the way PhoenixMiner also offers better zombie mode for 4 GB cards (with -daglim parameter) with higher hashrate than lolminer. Again you are not informed or don't want to accept the facts.

I never said LOL offer best zombie mode or that it was the only one.  You seem to have difficulty with reading comprehension.  You keep sticking words into peoples mouths and claiming things that are untrue with no proof.

Again with your BS...answer the first question asked...show me where jgonzi stated as you said "I am just LOL on your statement that lolminer is better than Phoenixminer. " ....

Because you cant...you sir are nothing but a liar.

You are also wrong about having to use encrypted port on the PM thread.  You have been shown to be wrong by both myself and another miner , yorics.  As we are both using PM and mining to ethermine on the 4444....

Then you again make wild unproven claims about claymore.   Claymore miner was the fastest by far for the last few years and is still for me on the 5 rigs i currently still run it on.  You seem not to understand a lot about mining as noted by your poor attitude, and treatment of devs and also by your straight up WRONG answers.  Its comical how you come back and want to trash talk certain folks who have all done way more for miners than you ever will.

Well on one hand, I'm glad to see it wasn't just me freaking out as I walked into the same situation everyone else is this morning.  I also have AMD 8GB cards so I wasn't expecting this to occur.

I do hope that Claymore is aware and can update/fix the problem.  When first setting up my rigs I tried a few and Claymore's Dual was just the simplest/easiest to setup and get going.  Though I will take a look at PhoenixMiner again.

Am I to guess this has something to do with Eth2.0 being released yesterday?

Actually it has to do with the dag growing close to the 4gb limit.  There arr issues as well from this that have created issues on other miner software.   But as noted previously Claymore has not been active on updating.  So if you are having issues best to find another miner.  There is not much hope that Claymore is going to update.  But as ive stated on some linux systems its still working without a problem but will defintely stop soon on 4gb cards.  Devs like lolminer have provided a zombie mode for 4gb cards to keep mining but at ever increasing penalty.  Those will fail in short order as well.  But at least the active miner devs will keep mining going for all of us.

DID anyone GET A SOLUTION for this: Huh

ETH: CONNECTING TO ETHASH POOL EU1.ETHERMINE.ORG:4444 (PROTO: ETHPROXY)

ETH: CONNECTED TO ETHASH POOL EU1.ETHERMINE.ORG:4444  (172.65.207.109)

POOL LOGIN FAILED: INVALID JSON REQUEST

ETH: RECONNECTING IN 5 SECONDS...

LISTENING FOR CDM REMOTE MANAGER AT PORT 3333 IN READ ONLY MODE

Any idea how to resolve this?

I get it on ethermine / sparkpool / nanopool

without your commandline, your os, what cards, and so on, no one can help you.
Miner doesn't work on nonencrypted port 4444. Use ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555

Really.....my rigs on PM work fine on port 4444 to ethermine.org...    You sir are a wealth of bad information.

Hello guys,

I am having issues with lolminer setup in ethos. Below my configuration file:

maxgputemp 85
stratumproxy miner
#BEAM
proxywallet my_adress.733d0f
proxypool1 beam-eu.leafpool.com:3333
flags --cl-global-work 8192 --farm-recheck 200
fan 733d0f 25 35 30 45 35 28
globalminer lolminer
safevolt disabled
cor 733d0f 1150 1150 1150 1150 1150 1150
mem 733d0f 2150 2050 2050 2050 2050 2050
vlt 733d0f 900 850 850 850 850 850

Miner loads properly, it connects to the pool but it disconnect immediately after. Any suggest?

You will need to set the flags for lol mine (command line options)

lolminer=flags —beam

i put this after the globalminer lolminer line
anything you need to set by command line option goes on the lolminer=flags (no spaces for that first part).
