Actually PLX boards dont need a driver...thats why they work with all OS's.....the PCIe subsystem directly supports this...no driver needed for the board...even in windows.

I am a little confused on mining Grin with RTX 3070 8 gb in windows:
Miner is using 6gb solver
Miner does encounter illegal memory access, even if I have set +0 core and +0 memory in Afterburner PL/60 % or 50%.
What am I  doing wrong ?

Also In order to use the 8gb solver do I have to run Linux ?

Yes on 8gb = linux because windows is a memory hog of bloatware.

You do realize from the thermal point of view the mi100 is not really going to mine.  It has no way to deal with the heat and stress of mining.  There is a reason you dont see the accelerator cards used in mining.
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: March 22, 2021, 04:18:17 PM
There are 10gb / 11gb / 12gb gpus out there...no reason to jump straight to 16gb.

that looks neat! what case is it? do you have a link for me? are you using it yourself? if so, is it silent?

Its got lots of fans it wont be silent.

The company is really a BIG SCAM
The company is really a big scam
I found out about this website through linzhi.io
for several days they had on their website the link of linzhi.cn.com
saying that that site was their store, the strange thing is that above they had an email from sales @linzhi.io
A few days later they no longer had the link to linzhi.cn.com on their supposed official website, they removed it and now they say Store: Coming soon

In my opinion, it is the same official company linzhi.io or some employee who is behind these waves of scams, it is likely that they did not have money to start mass production and in this way they have opted for fast and free Financing without having to return it

I lost 23k and now they send emails to encourage us to buy more machines but the machines do not exist, they will never arrive
they never send tracking number
They do not respond to any email or social network, they are on Telegran and they only say now that they have nothing created and to be careful with scams
But the scammers are themselves, the funny thing is that they respond here saying that we give tracking number or order, but they do not deliver anything after payment, there are no order number or tracking number because it is a scam, there are no machines

If one day the product comes out, hopefully they will give us a discount to the funders or scammed by them

Just stop.  You never dealt or had any dealing with Linzhi.io the actual company that does make an asic for eth but they dont sell it.  They make money using it.  They have shown and sent units for review but have never offered it for sale.  You go suckered by slick fraud sites....and now you blame Linzhi.io.   You fell for spoofed headers on email.  And lost a lost of money for that we are all sorry for you...but you cannot blame Linzhi.io because they were at all who you were dealing with.  You let your greed for profit haze your vision and you got suckered.  Own it...quit blaming others...you want to blame somebody try yourself...and the frauds who are not Linzhi.

You end by asking for a discount from Linzhi...they owe you nothing because you havent interacted at all with them.  Maybe in the future you will be more careful.  There are lots of scammers because there are lots of people desperate to make a quick fortune.

So stop trying to drag down Linzhi...you have been advised in another thread that you didnt do your research...a simple reading of this thread would have made clear THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE.

Own your dumbassery....its all you.

Having said all that i hate scammers...and there are plenty here...many even seem legit by offering new coins but those coins are usually just copies of other coins work and usually have large premines and NO MARKETS.  There are several that keeping posting here.  Whats funny is if you call them out and show they have no value they call you the scammer.  Smiley. I pride myself on having infuriated several of them.  And will continue to point out scams.  Please read up on stuff before you make a move such as you did...Again read this entire thread and is clear Linzhi is not selling.. ...yet you took a scammer with a slick websites word that it was.....

Sorry for the loss...but learn from it or you will get it again.
508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: help plz Quadro RTX 8000 not work on: March 19, 2021, 05:56:51 PM
And if you are going to mine on a 44gb card consider an algo that will benefit from it.  You wont even get as fast as a 3080 does on ethash....maybe Octopus or Grin may provide better returns as big vram tends to greatly improve those.

Yea, but i would like to have a monitor connected, so there is no words from rebtech about a new bios?

Just SSH into it...no reason for a monitor.  None of my rigs have monitors.
510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on old CPUs is back on: March 17, 2021, 12:55:24 PM
His numbers if on XMR are monthly amounts not daily.

Valireum is an eth token that doesnt have any market/exchange.

I am talking about 3Dcoin, which was mineable by CPU at the beginning. then he completely became Masternode coin before the fork and moving on to Eth network and changing the name to Valireum.
He is still tradeable on Crex24 https://crex24.com/exchange/VLM-BTC taking place of previously 3Dcoin.

I looked at CREX...total demand  for the coin buy book $49 ... The entire sell book is $650 worth...so 13x the buy volume.

You and i have very different definitions of profitable these days.  Good luck with it.  At least it is exchanged.

As long as you are the holder of the wallet seed (keys) then your wallet can be easily moved to another wallet with the seed.

513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: March 15, 2021, 01:51:05 PM
I have a RX 5700 XT MIS Mech 8gb Windows 10.

It runs fine for 1-12 hours then cuts back to 47mh/s.  I have tried adjusting the clock/mem down with a starting hashrate from 57mh/s down to 52mh/s(almost stock).  1230-1340 clock and 1750-1896 mem, all do this reset to 47mh/s...

Any idea why this card would randomly cut back to 47mh/s or a way to diagnose it?  A restart of the software does not work I have to reboot the computer.  I have 2 RX 570 8gb running with they card at 31mh/s and they are not affected.

Thanks

Put another fan on it cooling it....sounds like thermal throttling.

515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Reference list of mobos with 8 OR MORE pcie slots on: March 15, 2021, 01:23:26 PM
Not a motherboard but a way to expand almost any motherboard.

I want to add the easy way to make 1 gpu slot x1 into 4.....

https://www.amazon.com/LinkStyle-Adapter-Extender-Ethereum-Litecoin/dp/B078YQMF7F/ref=sr_1_10?crid=LS7T4TX8JXYG&dchild=1&keywords=pcie+1+to+4+splitter&qid=1615814487&sprefix=1-4+pcie+splitter+%2Caps%2C205&sr=8-10

Works in most situtaions and is cheap.  Also removes the little edge card that goes in slots.

You should proobaby read your own website...it states  “ The original smart contract of 0xbitcoin has been audited and no relevant issues are present.”

Which means 0xbitcoin has been...NOT this token.

The whole “ AcctPK=[private key of your miner account without 0x prefix]” is the scam.
Ive mined 0xbitcoin and never had to use my keys.

Go cry some more

You are not fair. You have omitted the remaining part of the description: all the state modifying functions are IDENTICAL! We have introduced only a callable getOwner() function, as required in the BEP-20 standards.
Hence the contract safety is IDENTICAL! Maybe you did not compared the contracts...

Luckily both the contracts are verified and publicly readable, and everyone can verify what I'm saying...

But yours isnt audited.  Some elses is not the same as this one being audited...you are making a false equivalence.

Get it audited not point to another and say we are same.....

Should be a CR2032 commoin flat disc battery.
But check and use what ever is there now.

Use a battery tester or volt meter to make sure its good.

Definitely scam project.
Token cannot be mined

User wanganxiu called it correctly....OP wants your wallet keys to steal your crypto.  Nothing more.

NEVER give your keys/seed....no legitimate project needs or wants those.

Nothing of value here.

Like several other new coins (or not so new) thst have no value , no future, and are just scams.

Very bad surprise that an expert of this forum tells we are scammers.  Angry

Our contract is verified, the source code can be read by everyone: why scammers should make their contract publicly readable?

Our contract derives from 0xbitcoin contract, and it is identical in terms of state-modifying functions. Are then you telling that they also are scammers??? then also all those who audited the contract are scammers too?Huh??

Please, if you have troubles with mining, ask directly us what the problem is before offending people that only want to promote the use of cryptos.

You are free to not trust in the token mining system, but please, do not offend honest people.

The address and privateKey are required to submit solutions to the smart contract, in other words they are used to sign transactions that allow the tokens to be minted  (see "mint" function inside the smart contract) and to be transferred into your wallets if you win the challenge.

We report in any case, the complete tokenminer.ini and start-mining.bat, both for GPUs and CPUs files to launch the MVis-tokenminer v2.2.0 (the latest you can download from here), already configured for mining (simply copy-paste, you have to edit only the section related to your miner address):

520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PCIE Multiplier on: March 14, 2021, 04:56:49 PM
Hello,

I have this motherboard and is working ok with 6 cards, but I have extra 5 cards and the prices of the motherboards that support 12/13 gpus are pretty high right now, so I bought an PCIE extension. The issue is that when I plug the risers in the multiplier, the cards are not detected, but if I plug an usb stick, it works fine. Is because of the motherboard?

MB:     https://rog.asus.com/uk/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b250f-gaming-model/
PCIE Multiplier: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0855QY46F

Thanks
lol its pcie to usb 3.0 not pcie multiplier for pcie, you cannot use this for pcie riser, you're wrong bought this stuff, pcie multiplier quite expensive around 1/3 from mobo that has 12 pcie, so i think better you sell the mobo and buy new one with 12+ pcie and not causing any problem in the future

You couldnt be more incorrect if you tried.

Go look at 12 gpu mining board.  Now if available most are $300+
The little plx is $20-30 bepending on where tou get it from.
Oh and they work...probably outta look at that too.

The only part you got right was the USB3.0 part but i corrected OP and advised him on that as well.  Anyways i wont rag on ya...hell ive skipped through threads and made a heel of myselfe before as well 😂
