1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Conmebol Libertadores 2023 - Prediction and Discussion Thread on: June 09, 2023, 10:35:53 PM
If Internacional is "lukewarm" in the Brazilian championship, the same we cannot be said for Libertadores.... they just need one more victory to qualify for the next stage.
It's maintainable that after an excellent match by Internacional, Nacional from Uruguay managed to draw at the very end of the game Embarrassed now Internacional needs to beat the Colombian team to advance to the next phase.

I think it's possible to move forward, because the international is still the only Brazilian team that is undefeated in this championship, which motivates me even more.
If this cup has always belonged to the Brazilians, this time it is time for Internacional to take it home Cool
1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 09, 2023, 10:24:49 PM
I did it many times back when my addiction is very high, I promise not to gamble after I lose a big amount I even swear that I will not, but the following day I'm back even promising to be better and not lose a big amount again.

How many of us are guilty of this?

Many people, certainly!

But that's just a matter of discipline and unfortunately there's nothing we can do about it, it's something you need to acquire, just like anyone who needs to drop a certain addiction.

However, there are tools that can help you with this.
Considering that all your contributions are made in bitcoin, for example... the blockchain itself has features that allow you to block wallet funds until a certain block is mined. could this help you?

Another, less drastic way would be for you to find something else to do in your free time... hang out with friends, watch a movie, visit your girlfriend/boyfriend, go to the park or to a football game.... whatever something that occupies your free time and keeps you away from the internet exactly when you are more inclined to bet.

Unfortunately it's up to you, but you can also ask a friend/relative to help you.... as long as he's not addicted too Tongue
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: June 09, 2023, 10:18:34 PM
I’ve turned $1,000 into $100,000
I’ve turned $6,000 into $80,000
I’ve turned $11,000 into $550,000
and recently I’ve turned $4,000 into $90,000

With nothing to show for it…I’m a sharp sports bettor, but I always end up going all in. I can never be satisfied until it’s too late. I always need to go all in.

I’ve been reading comments from my last post (turning $4,000 into $90,000 and losing the entire $90,000), and I can’t help but feel like shit.

How do I get over the countless failures? I’ve been chasing the $1,000,000 dream for years.

A quick and direct answer is....
Set boundaries!

What is your objective? raise 2x, 5x the amount initially contributed?
Then when you reach that, withdraw 50% of the winnings to your personal account and continue betting only with the other 50%.
reached the goal again? then make another withdrawal.
Ah... you lost the other 50%? then analyze carefully what is the amount you will deposit again. I would recommend starting over with the initial contribution, no more than that.
Keep losing? then stop and come back another day or the following week... resist the temptation to return all the money to the casino. Spend that money on something else, do something different, enjoy your winnings, and you'll start to realize that there are other forms of pleasure besides gaming.

I hope he continues to have all that luck in the game and that he manages to control himself better.

1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which League Makes Sports Betting Easy to Win? on: June 08, 2023, 10:01:45 PM
A tipster on one of the social media platforms advised his hundreds of followers that making money from sports betting is easier if they stop betting on European Football, which has just concluded, and focus on the Singaporean leagues, South American Leagues, and the Scandinavian leagues. Although some of his followers agreed that they've won some bets in those leagues, they also cautioned that there is a huge likelihood of match fixing occurring there as well. So everyone should be careful. I have never bet on those leagues as I am too careful. Can anyone share their experience with betting in these other leagues and make a comparison between betting there and betting in the Champions League, EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie Do not mention match fixing(it has been earlier pointed out), but talk about which is easier to win in and how much you made in comparison.

So I'm only going to tell you about football, as it's the only sport I really follow seriously, and this should be the first piece of advice for any bettor: If you're betting for real and not just for hobbies or fun, just bet on sports that you master.

That said... honestly for me, any European league is easier/predictable than any other. They are championships where the favorites usually win, very different, for example, from the Brazilian championships where every year we have a new surprise... unlikely teams being victorious and renowned teams being relegated for occupying the last places in the leaderboard.

I'm Brazilian, I can't help but bet on local football, but in fact it's a very difficult championship (it's already been voted the hardest in the world for the second time by the IFFHS) and very easy to lose money.

Singapore and Scandinavian leagues? I've never gambled, so I can't give my opinion.
1087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 08, 2023, 09:53:41 PM
Jude Bellingham is a done deal for Real Madrid finally!

The most incredible thing about this signing was seeing how Real Madrid overcame the competition from Manchester City and Liverpool, as English clubs offered Dortmund much more money than Real, but Bellingham's willingness to wear the shirt of the current Champions League champion League was much more relevant in the negotiations. It's very nice to see that money can't buy everything, it's not enough for a "powerful" team to show all its money if it doesn't have other qualities, victories, trophies and encouraging perspectives for its players.

Bellingham has indeed had an exceptional performance at Borussia Dortmund since arriving in 2020 and ended up becoming one of the team's main players in those three seasons. Unfortunately, he didn't manage to win the national title in the last round due to the "stumble" they had against Mainz (I know... he didn't even play, but even so, the defeat was his too). The only trophy that Bellingham has, if I'm not mistaken, was the German Cup between 2020 and 2021, but I hope that for Real Madrid that can change, because Bellingham deserves to live in glory days

I wish the boy and Real Madrid success!
1088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll management discussion on: June 08, 2023, 09:43:43 PM
What percentage of your bankroll are using as your bet size. I read an article online before that 1% to 3% is the ideal for low risk gambling while 4% to 5% for aggressive gambling. I use the aggressive type bankroll management on most of my game because I’m always bored playing with minimum bets or low percentage of my bankroll because I knew that house edge will kill me long term.

Are using a fixed percentage on your bets or you are just betting random amount? Also do you deposit your total bankroll and just withdraw if you are on target profit or stop loss or you are just depositing exact amount of money for your gambling without extra.

There was a time when I believed in "strategies" of the martingale type, where it was possible to win constantly but little by little and for that I needed to make low bets so as not to be "eliminated" too quickly, but soon I understood that this was just a way to die more slowly.

In fact, it is very tedious to place low-risk bets and when you win, realize that you have received almost nothing.
My bets are always aggressive, and without worrying that I might lose money quickly, as I always go into games thinking I've already lost.
The advantage is that when you win, the victory is really worth it, and that's quite rewarding.

I've never had a conservative bet, but you can't confuse a risky bet with an inconsequential bet. I was always very aware of the values I bet and I never bet more than I should.

Losing (most of the time) and winning (the few times) I can sum up that I am very happy with my bets.

1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 07, 2023, 12:22:12 AM
The truth is, I didn't know that now they are Considering holding the World Cups in that way with the union of these three countries, now, how are 3 countries starting in this next World Cup that happen to have several different things, in terms of culture and even in the way After entering their countries, we will see how they Manage it, of course, I am sure that each Country will help one and the other so that everything looks good, and there are no problems, because where 1 country fails, they are given the responsibility of 50- 50 for the other two that remain, but that would look very bad, and I would not agree, because a World Cup Means many good things.

I don't believe this is a problem.
The three countries have the technical capacity and competence necessary to comply with all FIFA requirements in order to have the stadiums and other infrastructure ready long before the games start.

About strategic "alignment", I believe that USA, Mexico and Canada have plenty, not only to host a world cup but also for any other political issues that involve them.

I'm not sure, but if your concern is the visa... as far as I'm aware, people only need to acquire a visa for the USA (which is more "complicated") and automatically they have a "free pass" to watch the games on the Mexico and Canada.
1092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 07, 2023, 12:17:12 AM
Well, Benzema is on the right team to show his best in Saudi Pro League. He is lucky that Al Ittihad gave a big offer for him. Benzema also will get a big salary there. So, I am pretty sure that Benzema will experience a great season in Saudi the next season.  Smiley

Contract closed/valid for two years and option of an extension of the bond, but speaking the truth... will Benzema last that long in the "desert"?
I question why I've seen the almost regret of Cristiano Ronaldo wanting to leave there with less than 6 months, why is that?
Only the high salary (astronomical) is not enough to motivate high-level players to stay in a country with a culture so different from what they are used to in Europe.

We know that "young" athletes like them need a good night of relaxation, drinks, women and games....that is not so easily found there.

Anyway, I'm rooting for Benzema's future and I hope he plays well at Al-Ittihad, but honestly I find it difficult for him to fulfill the two-year contract.
1093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: June 07, 2023, 12:09:10 AM
We are in the 21st century, until when before people realize that suicide does not put an end to problem, but rather create more for those living??

Unfortunately, this is the most tragic ending one can have as a result of gambling addictions.
There are many people who even today trivialize gambling addiction, thinking that people continue to gamble because they are irresponsible, without seeing that this has actually become a modern disease and that it should be treated as such and receive government assistance as soon as possible. identified at the beginning.
It is unfortunate to see that the countries that earn the most from online gambling are often the ones that provide the worst return to their inhabitants on awareness measures and help to kick the gambling habit.

Anyway, I believe that among us, most players are aware... we lose a lot of money, that's a fact, and the casinos are grateful for that Tongue but we keep playing because we love gambling, but we do it for fun and not for profit , and above all consciously.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 04, 2023, 02:54:40 PM
My conclusions about the TOP 5 of the GP of Spain:

It's okay that Verstappen led the race from start to finish, he's still a great driver but for me he wasn't the best. My honors in this GP certainly go to the Mexican Sergio Pérez After he started 11th and finished the race in 4th with an excellent recovery race with Red Bull.

Lewis Hamilton and George Russel indeed confirmed that Mercedes updates are a differential that is keeping it in the leadership positions.

I was also expecting more from Carlos Sainz, he did a good race and was very quick but I think he was really limited by Ferrari's performance difficulties.
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: European Sex Championship 😳, Will you Bet? on: June 04, 2023, 02:45:09 PM
Sweden has declared sex as a sport, and is set to launch its first tournament tagged "European sex Championship" on the 8th day of June, 2023, this means it's about 4 days left until the tournament begin?

We all can read the details on - https://m.timesofindia.com/life-style/relationships/love-sex/in-sweden-sex-is-now-a-sport-first-european-sex-championship-to-be-held-soon/amp_articleshow/100720445.cms

You as a gambler..
1. What do you make of this?, is sex truly a sport and is it supposed to be carried out openly?
2. If casinos pick this up and make provisions available to users to bet on this supposed European sex Championship, would you bet?

Lets have some serious and healthy discussion here..

In fact people are "too creative".
This is obviously not a sport, I would like to believe this is all just a rumor or a joke, but it does indeed appear to be real.

It's okay that casinos are in an excellent phase and need something new to differentiate themselves from the competition, but that's a ridiculous appeal.

I'm a Christian person, and gambling itself would be a "sin" but don't see it that way. But trivializing sex is acceptable, especially involving it in games.

Certainly this "event" must attract the curiosity of many people, but I sincerely hope that this does not work out and that it ends soon.
1096  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Lightning Network L2 - FAQ on: June 02, 2023, 11:13:57 PM

1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2023 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: June 02, 2023, 11:05:08 PM
Don't say that my friend, my Corinthians is in a bad phase  Cheesy
I'm not having much luck betting on Corinthians, so I've started to place only small bets on my team, to not lose too much
If you also place some bets, please share them with us. I'm trying to post some good guesses here, but I confess that I'm still assimilating each team and trying to predict better
Botafogo for example I didn't believe they would start so well, and I didn't predict Flamengo and Corinthians would starts so bad  Cheesy

Better days are coming for Corinthians.... in fact, May was complicated for "Timão" but now in June he may do better here, with a sequence of games on national soil that can help to improve his classification in the Brazilian Championship.
Tomorrow he faces América-MG in Belo Horizonte, my bet is certainly on a victory for Corinthians... don't let me down Tongue
But getting away from the subject of the topic... the next problem is the Brazilian Cup, Corinthinas even qualified for the quarterfinals, but comes from three defeats, will it advance?
On the 10th June he also faces Cuiabá, I think he wins.

As bad as your Corinthians are, so is my Internacional with just 2 more points, so... we can cry together or keep cheering.

I prefer not to give up!!!
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 02, 2023, 10:52:40 PM
If Benzema has advisors, this is the right time for him to be advised. He needs to leave Real Madrid at this very time and go to Saudi Arabia to make money. U mean, he would likely be depreciating in Real Madrid. He should bow out now that the overtion is high.
I did not see any reason he should remain in Madrid. He has actually won everything he needed to win in the Madrid.
He does not love Madrid more than Messi loved Barcelona, but at a particular time he had to path way. This is the best time for Benz to find his way out of Real Madrid.

I'm not sure about the information I'm reading, I confess that I'm a little confused because analyzing only the news with less than 24 hours, in one place I read that Benzema accepted an offer from Al-Ittihad and will leave Real Madrid after 13 years, and Benzema would even have warned coach Carlo Ancelotti and his teammates about this departure.
But then, elsewhere I read that Benzema will stay at Real Madrid, and fulfill his contract as agreed with the club and that only in 2024 he could go to Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia.

Anyway, I don't understand why Benzema would refuse to leave Real Madrid when he can break his contract early... 100 million euros a year at Al-Ittihad is a much higher amount than what he receives at Real Madrid. In fact, if even Cristiano Ronaldo went there (obviously, in other circumstances than Benzema) why wouldn't Benzema do it too?

no debate sobre direitos autorais um lado meu diria "do what you want 'cause a pirate is free"

I have been able to turn $4,000 into $90,000 over the course of a week. Today, I am going all in on a bet I am very confident in.

FRANCE LEAGUE 2: GRENOBLE - GUINGAMP

~snip~

UPDATE: A MISSED PENALTY AND A LOSS. BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD.

Sorry for your loss!

Going all-in is for the few, especially when the amount gained to reach that amount was achieved little by little.
Asism like the others, if I had seen this post before, I would have told you to reserve at least 50% of the amount for a later date or even to keep it in a holding, but I don't know how much those 90k mean in your life economical. If they mean little, it does make sense to go all-in. If it is a reasonable or high amount for you, it would be wiser to set aside part of the amount.

Anyway! I hope you manage to turn 4k into 90k again and have better luck in the next all-in.
