1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: March 02, 2023, 06:29:57 PM
Congratulations. That was an unbelievable feat. Just this week I tried doing multi bets although I included some matches and sports that I already didn't watch closely. After losing some tickets, I gave up. But after reading this inspiring story, I am thinking of doing it again. And just like everyone else, I am curious if you will share your next multi-bets. I'll give it a try and see if I can get some of your luck. Grin
Don’t panic and jump in to the gamble by just reading someone story. If you jump into gambling only by hearing other people's stories, it will bring you bigger losses.  You will never win big prizes by following other people's stories.  Big prizes are not always won.  It suddenly gets to someone. You can get it too, but neither you nor anyone knows when.  You can try but never panic. Keep gambling with a cool mind

No worries. I never panic about anything mate. And I won't just jump completely without checking it. And besides, if I ever follow OP's bets, it will be very small amounts that won't hurt my feelings if it loses. It would be dumb if people believes that there is such a thing as called sure-bets. Multi-bets are the most difficult in sports betting so we better expect their low chances of winning. Maybe $10 or a little more or less will be my range. If a $300 ticket can win $417k then a $10 ticket can probably get $10k when lucky.

That's right. We should not forget that gambling has only only two sides, it's either you win or lose. There's no such thing as draw as you will just have either one of the outcome at the end of the day, why? I don't think that you will stop betting once your bets hit the draw mark, chances are that you will still continue until you will end the day with losses or wins.
Mostly importantly, you cannot achieve big hits if you're following someone's shadow. If you feel that you're lucky, then go for it. Don't go and start betting if you will just trust your fate in other person's hand.
1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 02, 2023, 06:06:23 PM
4/5 nice won.

Just my Chicago bet lost, I had a good night last night.
Congratulations to you and to all the winners yesterday. If I am not mistaken, all the favorites won their respective games today except for the Portland Trail Blazers. If anyone did a parlay on the other games then I bet he is a big winner now.
I forgot to do that.  Cheesy
Almost 3/3 today, but my bet against the Trail Blazers spoiled it. I thought that they will bounce back after that loss against the Warriors. The game was a close one until the 4th quarter where the Blazers only scored 19 points. They can't also stop Ingram as he scored 40 points in 18/29 shooting. I lost my bet on this one.

On my other bets, the Sixers won easily against the Heat on the road and that's without Embiid as well. They really bounced back after their lost on their home against the Heat as well. No chance for the Heat on this game as the Sixers just dominated every quarter. Also, the Lakers won against the Thunder without their big 3. Yes it might only be Thunder, and that's no SGA as well, but for the Lakers, all games for them are a must win if they want to clinch to the play-in or playoffs.

2/3 bets as well same with @danherbias07. Cheesy

Heads up my friend, at least you got two of your three bets correct and it was still a good day.

I admit that Blazers-Pelicans was somehow unexpected because I'm alsoo rooting for the Blazers to bounce back after the loss they got recently but that didn't happened as they just let the Pelicans do their own thing in the last 5 minutes of the game.

How about the games tomorrow? Will the Clippers bounce back this time after their 0-3 run, it is a must win for the team but it won't be that easy because the game will be played at the Warriors homecourt, we all know what that means.
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I've been scared to invest in bitcoin on: March 01, 2023, 07:19:25 PM
I know volatility is a natural thing that can happen to any investment. However, it will be good to address this issue because from where I come from people are scared of investing in bitcoin, they feel its risky. Personally,  I feel there should be an increased regulatory body which will help people like me not to be scared. There should be an improvement in bitcoin infrastructure, some of these wallet aren't even user friendly and also, there should a transparency in the market. I'm still learning about the best wallet to use as a newbie though.

My question is this, is it possible for bitcoin to be completely immune to volatility in years to come?

Please learn the history of Bitcoin price movements to be able to reduce your fear and also the risk of investment is a reasonable thing without risk you will not be able to profitable, therefore you have to learn how to invest that suits you and also only invest with the money you can afford to lose and no one forces you to invest in Bitcoin so you have to do it by knowing everything correctly

If there's no volatility and only profits, I bet all coins that is now circulating in the market is already owned and people start to flock and talk about bitcoin because the investment is only profits with almost no risks at all. But sadly, that's just a fantasy for those newbies or frustrated investors that is scared to invest in bitcoin.

I'm afraid that risk and volatility is always there because we are leaning on a decentralized market, but that's the beauty about it because it's decentralized, therefore, this market is hard to manipulate and selfish governments can't touch it.
1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: February 28, 2023, 07:31:25 PM
In boxing, there are casual trash talks that are common. However, Thurman made an effort for his trashtalks to become personal. In order to distract Pacquiao, he attempted to get under his skin but failed deliberately.

Errol Spence will force Keith Thurman to kiss the canvas. Thurman was down by the body punch of Pacquiao and Spence is more well known for working on the bodies of his opponents. By TKO, Thurman will lose.

They have their own strategy, and I believe what Thurman did to Pacman, which is trash-talking, is not to distract him but to gain the attention of the fans and market their upcoming fight. Pacman will not be affected by any trash talk, as he has been in boxing for more than a decade already, so it's not new to him.

I guess it's both because I also remember that Thurman somehow underestimated Pacquiao and thought that a trashtalk will somehow give some troubles to the latter but it didn't worked as Thurman was the one who kissed the canvass in the early rounds of their fight whereas he was the one who had the ultimate motive to do the same.

Back on the fight, I know that Thurman is thirsty and hungry to get a title and be a champion once again but this journey won't be that easy because Spence got a strong body punch that could probably also crack Thurman in the early rounds. He should watch out for that though as it's expected that Spence won't go easy on him as this is a bit personal for him because of what happened few years back.
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 28, 2023, 05:06:55 PM
I just bumped on this article:
Quote
Just as the Lakers seem to be building some momentum with a three-game winning streak, with their stars shining and the new additions playing their part, James looks set to be in for a spell on the sidelines.
Multiple reports say the 19-time All-Star could miss several weeks, but is awaiting further tests to determine the full extent of the injury.
https://edition.cnn.com/2023/02/28/sport/los-angeles-lakers-players-qualify-nba-spt-intl/index.html

I guess it's now all on AD because LeBron might not be able to play for quite some time as the injury on his foot is not that good. After their win against the Mavs recently, LeBron's video showing that he's having a hard time walking has been circulating in almost sports media outlet. This is a big challenge for the Lakers especially now that they are chasing more wins to at least participate in the Play-In.
I sniffed about this news somewhere on social media too. So I guess it was real. I won't be expecting too much from the Lakers from now on. We should see first if they could handle the team without their captain.
Grizzlies might have an easy time winning their game later against the Lakers.
So, Memphis Grizzlies - Los Angeles Lakers - Memphis Grizzlies (-10.5) - Yes, it's too obvious. The only thing we should worry is if the spread will be covered.
Brooklyn Nets - Milwaukee Bucks - Brooklyn Nets (6.5) - Call me crazy, I want to see the Brooklyn Nets win a game. This is an emotional pick so it is not recommended.  Cheesy Giannis probable to play.

Houston Rockets - Denver Nuggets - Denver Nuggets (-10.5)

Will add late games bet later.
Good luck guys.

You got an interesting early picks right there my friend. I don't know about you guys but I'm surprised and surely didn't expect the results of the game today where most of the underdog has won their respective games. Kudos to them because that wasn't an easy game for them.

For the Lakers vs Grizzlies, I will just sit on that game for now as the spread is quite high for me and I can't really predict which team will bring a W. The same with the Bucks vs Nets match-up, I might just bet on it live.

But for the Nuggets -10.5 - I got almost no doubt for them to win against the Rockets. Adding to that, Warriors -4.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 27, 2023, 12:10:37 PM

They really change a lot when their rooster changed, it seems their trades are pretty much effective because they overhaul their rooster and get a good supporting cast to help them on their important run to reach their target. Its good to see them to reach on playoffs since this current rooster is now what we can say a title contender compare before.

Now the curse is on the Clippers because they have Westbrook. Two consecutive losses in overtime - that hurts. I guess the most important thing is the plays in the dying minutes; it looks like they are struggling in those moments. They should improve in that area, otherwise their ranking will slide down.
Hey! C'mon!
Westbrook is not playing during the overtime against the Nuggets. It was just a competitive game and Jokic, Murray, and Michael Porter Jr. instantly switched on their monster type of game while for the Clippers, it was just Kawhi Leonard who is answering.
Jokic especially, who can stop that guy? 99th career triple-double, 23rd season triple-double. That last assists for a Bruce Brown alley-oop dunk put the dagger to end the game.
Michael Porter Jr. is growing stronger, now he is attacking the paint too which will make him a scary player with lots of options to score

People have to realize that the Nuggets lost to Memphis because they had a bad shooting night. Now, they beat the Clippers, and this is how they play. They trust each other, and that's why they are very dangerous as a team. The good thing about the Nuggets is that they have reliable players inside and outside, unlike the Clippers, who do not have a dominant center like Jokic.

Jokic is a back-to-back MVP, and no one can stop him except Giannis.  Grin
1087  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: February 27, 2023, 08:59:47 AM
if he is ready to risk everything ? then why not right? but the problem here is that how could you trade if you have no idea at all mate and for God sake this is our money that needs to be earn or gone then why not? better to try using Trading Bot first before bringing your money inside mate this is how we can save our money since in the end? we will be the loser here if not be careful .

Why not learn how to trade before he starts with real money?
Currently, many platforms offer demo balance to start trading as a demo and learn how to trade. Even Bot won't be able to make a profit for you if you cannot instruct what to do. Right? I won't suggest anyone risk his everything even if he wants to risk it. Sometimes people make decisions out of frustration.
Obviously, that person underestimates trading and so does the market volatility. Not actually hard to learn trading but too unfortunate that they just think it will work too easily and neglect to see the risk in doing something that we never know. Yes, most exchanges offer a demo account to newbies as a playground to learn and it was enough prior to actual trading. In fact, learning the basics about trading never takes so long so it is impossible we can't just spend for this. Because if we wanted to grow and become a successful trader, we must also invest first into learning prior to starting otherwise regrets and failure is only what we get in the end.
1088  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I invest my 60% savings in Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2023, 05:35:31 AM
but wait mate , where did you get that 50% allocation being the  main point? i have not seen this to be effective specially when talking about this top one coin?.
I accumulate 50% of the total assets so it is not effective to use half of the funds for investment, we must have financial management to sort out the allocation and determine the right total amount of investment, I have 35% for investment allocation at this time, so the allocation for investment funds is not disturbing other needs and can be used for long-term investment.
If we are just about to start investing and don't have experience in this area, not necessarily we put a huge amount like 60% on it as it was advisable to start with a little amount. In fact, 35% is even big for beginners but still, it was manageable if ever we fail on the first attempt. It was very important to determine the amount that we can afford to lose. In fact, we can gradually increase our investment capital at the moment that we are sure we can take the risk and when we are confident enough about it.
1089  Economy / Speculation / Re: If history repeats itself: 2023 vs 2019 on: February 26, 2023, 10:29:25 PM
Its looking a bit weaker today, failed to pass 24.5k and also staying below the 2 day average and confirming the weekly average for the highs.  If I hold BTC as acting positively I expect it to hold above weekly averages not below.   The signal for this higher patch of BTC prices to fall apart would be 23.5k being lost.  Next support I'd guess is early Feb lows of 22.8k   All of this is short term stuff and movements, if someone argued we are just going sideways I would mostly agree for micro and macro movements.
I'd never expect a huge pump or dump as well and the situation isn't really good for short-term holders as they certainly are taking to hold longer time than the usual thing they do. The market will just be showing huge changes when there is another market drama like a scam, FUDs, and manipulations but something we have missed it this February making the price movement very slow. But I never say it was unfortunate yet it was a good chance for the investors to accumulate more before the huge pump kicked on.
1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching teenagers about bitcoin. on: February 26, 2023, 09:56:50 PM
Teenagers are old to handle this stuff, they are already old enough to make decisions, and of course, they know what is right and what is wrong. So teaching them is not hard nor we can think it was a waste of time but for sure it has positive results. We know that the current generation is much more active to the internet which means that they can easily understand how crypto works and I believe they are even wanted to learn things that could give them money. But what you need OP is to have clear teaching strategies in order to for them to fully understand. And it won't be simply done in one day or two, but kinda be days...
1091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 25, 2023, 08:18:08 PM
That was the first fight wherein Donaire really hurt Inoue and it was the first time that we saw Inoue got wobbly and dizzy because he was hit by a solid punch, nevertheless he didn't go down but instead continue to go on.
"Donaire just couldn't knock out Inoue, and Inoue was smart to make the right adjustments, even though he was hurt in the fight. In the next fight, although Donaire was still confident, Inoue had already made the right plans to knock him out early.

Yes and that is the actual simple truth behind why Donaire failed on his campaign to avenge his loss against Inoue on their first encounter, eventually, that latter got a 2-0 standing against Donaire because he came much more prepared which gave Donaire an unexpected early knockout. Donaire didn't made an excuse for that matter because what happened explained it all, the monster was just too much for him.
1092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: February 25, 2023, 07:50:15 PM

Yes, definitely he is in the media because after all he become a boxing analyst/commentator and he knows what those guys are saying, specially after he lost to Pacquiao and his recent performance against Mario Barrios.
Losing to Pacquiao is not a big deal in my opinion because Pacquiao is a legend and he is really good, despite his age at that time. There's nothing to be ashamed of, and besides, Pacquiao didn't dominate Thurman. It was a close fight, and Pacquiao was just lucky that Thurman didn't start to be aggressive after he got knocked down. In my opinion, the second half of the fight belonged to Thurman.

So in any case, it's either he will be inspired to proved his doubters wrong and motivate to beat Spence. Or he be 100% but still though that effort will not be enough to beat a prime Errol Spence Jr right now.
We don't know the outcome of the fight, but one thing is certain: he should train hard and give 100%, as a win could definitely change his life.
Yes manny pacman Pacquiao is a legend in the whole boxing industry and we all know that a 8 division champion of the world so without a doubt he can easily defeat big time boxer even if pacmans opponent is in the middle of his  prime career like what Thurman experienced but for this fight it's all new we can see a good and massive  fight during the the day and for sure many people want to see this and also this is one of the big event for this year.

This will be a big challenge for Thurman's side because if he failed to conquer a great boxer in the past who is already past his prime, how much more now because he is up against a great boxer who is still at the height of his prime. Now I know that Thurman is not that old because his age is not that far as he is just 2 years older from his foe, but it's just hard to disregard if it's already a fact. But we'll see, he still got a chance but it will be a forceful fight on his behalf as Spence is not an easy fighter.

Yes, and what's funny is, everyone is talking about him beating Manny, because he has all the advantage and then the trash talk his way on that fight to the put that he really belittles the Legend. But look at what happen to him, he can't beat a past prime Pacquiao and even handed his ass down on the canvass? And then he went on this comeback fight a 140 lbs boxer that Gervonta Davis knock down several times, cut his face and beat him badly and score a tko in 11th. So what more can we ask for Thurman fighting a prime Spence? So we shouldn't be surprised if he get knock down again or even lost by ko/tko.

Now, we know that Keith Thurman do stand a chance against the prime Errol Spence Jr. but, let's refrain from making any moves that doesn't make any sense just because of that fact that most of us here got a thing against Errol Spence and his promoter because of what he did recently and in this fight that was moved in the 154 lbs. Or is it me? Grin

Anyway, what I believe is that Thurman's chances is not that good because it's just hard to disregard that Spence is still on the height of his prime. What I mean is, let's just not expect too much as Thurman really did waste his time reflecting on his loss against a past-prime legendary.
1093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 25, 2023, 06:37:57 PM
The Hornets spoiled my parlay for the night. Bad news for the Bucks as well as Giannis left the game with a knee injury. They were able to get the win though. Warriors and Suns also took home wins with the end of the Suns game getting pretty chippy between players as Chris Paul did his annoying thing.

Was nice to see Kevin Love playing for the Heat but he missed all his shots so his first point for the Heat will have to wait.
Apparently, that Cavaliers team that was champion in 2016 literally disintegrated with the Kevin Love exit.

By the way, you guys are not alone, I confess... the Hornets also spoiled my bets.

Soon, we will have the game between Heat and Hornets, I believe it will be an interesting game, and mainly, let's see if Love will score his first points for the Miami Heat.

Nobody in the present roster now is with the Cavs 2016, Kevin Love was the last man standing but now he is having a new journey with the Miami Heat. Looking forward to see him scoring this time.

And about the Hornets vs Wolves game earlier, you are not alone my friend because my parlay was also destroyed because of that. Nobody saw it coming that LaMelo Ball will explode with a double-double and then he had Hayward who was helping him to bring another win to make it a 3-game win streak. Not bad, I reckon MJ is so happy about it but I doubt they can mimic their performance later against the Miami Heat.

Back to the thread topic, here's my bets for the games later.

Miami Heat -4.5
Denver Nuggets ML
Boston Celtics -1.5
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 25, 2023, 04:40:07 PM
With CP3 capabilities, yup, if he will maintain that kind of vision inside the court, adding KD will give him more options to set the play,
we all know how deadly both Booker and KD when they have an open look to take the shot.

CP3 can maximize them with Ayton inside who is also a good threat when receiving a ball
inside, the good thing with them is they are also capable of running and make a good defense,
we will all see how they will adjust to one another.
Well, I confess, I did not remember this opportunity.

The Suns can become a deadly and dangerous team... They have a great and experienced PG (CP3), they also have one of the best SF in the NBA (Durant), Booker, he's a young player and day after day he is evolving, And finally, the Suns have Ayton, he's still young and I have no doubt he has a bright future ahead of him.

If the Suns players get chemistry with each other, no major player on the team is injured during the season (especially CP3, who has a frequent history of injuries) I dare say, the Suns have a good chance to reach the WCF or even play in the NBA finals Again

The eastern conference is getting a breather with the loss of KD. I don't think Brooklyn can sustain its ranking and will soon get replaced by the other teams. In the west though, it is getting tighter. Phoenix, the Lakers, and the Mavs are getting reinforced.

Brooklyn Nets will adjust to what they have right now but that's it, because unfortunately, they don't have that someone that will help them who is much more reliable in the offense and defense unlike the other team has. Which will likely result in an early exit this season and their spot will be open for other teams in the East.

I really believe that KD, Booker, Ayton, and CP3 can establish great chemistry. They are now the deadliest shooting team and are a real force to be reckoned with if they stay healthy. I am so excited to see these top teams playing against each other in the playoffs. And how the underdogs Sacramento Kings perform in the playoffs.

Currently, KD is still having some good rest to heal his injury and he haven't participated yet in any team practice. But as for speculation, KD's presence in the Suns will give them a boost in offense and defense, and then CP3 will have more options whom to pass the ball as they are now considered as Big 4.
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: February 24, 2023, 08:17:34 PM
Soccer in the USA has grown a lot, I do not deny it, the MLS is one of the leagues that are famous, but when we refer to Mexico things can change, I have never been to that beautiful country, but some friends tell me that since children, there is a lot of activity with a soccer ball, children play in the streets, in the parks, I cannot deny that Mexicans also have baseball as a powerful sport, but when it comes to soccer, it identifies them even more, so it can be That is one of the reasons why they have allowed them to have those matches, because they are very fanatical, and if we compare it with US soccer, I think the Mexicans are superior in technique.

Latin America as a whole is crazy about football, and it is not just Mexico. In case of Mexico, they are located close to the United States and therefore they were included in the combined bid to host FIFA 2026. The situation is entirely different in the United States and Canada. In the US, baseball (MLB), American football (NFL), basketball (NBA) and ice-hockey (NHL) are far more popular when compared to soccer. The same can be said in Canada as well, where NHL is the most popular league. But during the recent years, MLS has gained popularity (especially among the new immigrants).

We know the Latin countries are crazy about football in their country but this time the world cup will be hosted in America and all the teams hosting the tournament will be from America. In my opinion, Mexico is more popular with football fans than the United States and Canada. As you have mentioned, football is not the first favorite sport in north America, so I hope the Mexican people and Mexican fans are more interested in football than their northern counterparts.

No doubt, Mexico got influenced by some things in the South America which includes football and I'm already expecting that they will reach further than the other 2 countries that will also host the WC namely, Canada and USA.

While for America, their most loved and most watched sports is basketball and baseball, and then rugby comes in 3rd (which is football in America while soccer was named rather than football). Same as Canada, they too got their own sports like ice hockey which comes in 1st.
1096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 24, 2023, 07:49:43 PM
GSW vs LA Lakers -5.5
Portland vs Sacramento -5

I'll go with the underdogs, as both Portland and the Warriors are decent teams. Just because they will be playing on the road, it doesn't mean they'll lose. These teams know how to win, so I think they are undervalued in this matchup.

It's the same in this game; the underdog lost and it wasn't even a close game. I think many of us here were attracted to the underdogs since these games might determine who qualifies for the playoffs.

I somehow expected it a bit that the Warriors will get defeated on their game yesterday against the Lakers because they got a huge handicap as Curry and Wiggins wasn't there on the hardwood helping the team to keep afloat. It was a long scoring game for the Warriors and it's different on the Lakers side as they are sharing the ball well without getting AD and LeBron so hyped to lift the whole team, but I guess we will have a different outcome if the Chef was there.

Same as the Kings, we can't really argue their existence on the league now because they managed to get the 3rd seed in the West while the Blazers was having a hard time in the 12th seed. Also, the Blazers lack consistency.

Later today, the Kings will face the Clippers and Westbrook will make his debut at home. This game is anticipated by many, hopefully it will be a different game.
1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Make Big Money at the Casino — Without Gambling on: February 24, 2023, 06:56:00 PM
I have just been reading up on the bomb story in the Harvey's Resort Hotel. What impresses me is how the guy constructed this bomb. He must have paid some professionals. If you read about it, as the author in your excerpt describes, there was no way for the bomb disposal squad to shut it down safely. We all know so many movies where there is at least this one cable you have to cut and then you are fine.

Everyone who saw the series "Bodyguard" on Netflix or "The Hurt Locker" with Jeremy Renner. Every time they defused a bomb I asked myself why those bombs are not just build in a way that they simply can't be defused.

Now I read about this story and this guy made it! Cheesy But when an FBI professional team can't defuse it, I doubt that John Birges himself could have done it.

The best about the story is that nobody was harmed physically. As a hotel owner it must feel bad. I wonder if an insurance pays for a bomb attack like that?

That's what separates the bomb in the movies and bomb in real life because in the movies, bombs are just made to scare off some people but detonating it is not as complex compared to the real life where there would be so many wires attached on it with almost no hints what wire needed to be cut to turn off the whole thing. Even the experts like the bomb squads doesn't even know how to safely detonate it.
But for the insurance, maybe they haven't got any because some policies are different like for example, the bomb didn't explode on it's own, it's because the feds are so confident that they have everything under control when in-fact they don't know what to do.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: February 24, 2023, 05:37:23 PM
Are anyone here surprised by the odds?

I just check on sportsbet and Yoshino is 7:1 underdog. For me I'm, it's expected that this is somewhat be relatively easy fight for Shakur against the Japanese. And Shakur should win here and if he does, as per Bob Arum, he will get the winner of the Loma and Haney fight. So that will be the most compelling fight for Shakur next.

I can't really say if I'm surprised or not because somehow I was already expecting that Yoshino will be a heavy underdog in this fight like a 4:1 odds but 7:1? That's like underestimating Yoshino and just another way of saying that there's no way he can stand up against or defeat Shakur Stevenson. To sum up the upcoming fight, I'm not expecting either from the Japanese boxer because I'm seeing him as more like a local and not used to get in the world stage/ring.

Just good thing though that Shakur Stevenson (granting that he won this bout) will get to fight the winner of Loma-Haney fight. That's what I wanted to see.

It's Fulton's time now to break that momentum and protect his thrown. We will see who's going to stand tall after the fight.

Although he is the champion, it seems that we are hoping he will be able to survive against Inoue. The fight between Inoue and Donaire was quite different because Donaire was the challenger, while here, it's Inoue who is the challenger, but people view him as the champion.

There is a huge pressure on Foltun because the majority of the fans do not believe he can beat the Monster, but let's see what happens during the fight night

True. All the pressure is on Fulton's side because a monster is approaching towards him to get hold of his two belts and people are already predicting that he won't do nothing to protect it. While it is him who is the champion but it seems that he's more like a challenger because he is the one who will visit Inoue at his own country to protect his belt.

But the champion cannot do anything as it's undeniable that a bout in Japan is more profitable for both parties, so instead of the challenger visiting the champion, it's the opposite. I can't really hide that I'm already excited to see this fight soon.

Yes, but it seems that he is going to be ready, the reports says it's going to be in Japan, so he is also willing to travel there, so he has embrace that pressure and he going to thrived on it.

But then again, he will not be called a Monster for nothing, Fulton is no boogeyman, he has to face him face to face and it will be very difficult task at hand. Although it might also be a good paycheck and so he is willing to put everything in the line here and we expect a good and hard fight for both fighters.

Yup, the bout will happen inside Japan and their paycheck is already laid perfectly waiting to be claimed as this kind of bout will certainly attract a lot of attention to people not just in Japan alone but in other parts of the world as well, especially after the fact that both boxers also have their own fan bases, large fan bases that supports them. This will be good folks, I bet it will!

Have we heard official announcement about this fight or it is under the negotiation table as the Japanese counterpart is doing the negotiations with PBC and Al Haymon?

So if this is still happening in the background so no paycheck is already laid yet, at least until they have announced the date and the venue of the fight, most likely it will be the old and historical Saitama stadium in Japan. But we wanted to see the exact date.

More information about Inoue vs Fulton:
Quote
Stephen Fulton and Naoya Inoue have agreed to terms for a unified 122-pound title fight in the spring in Japan, sources told ESPN on Wednesday.

The fight for Fulton's WBC and WBO junior featherweights titles is being targeted for May, sources said, though a date has not been set. The bout will be streamed on ESPN+ in the morning stateside, according to sources. Inoue often fights on Tuesdays in Japan.

So yes, all they have is a verbal agreement for both boxers and both camps that indeed they will be having a fight in Japan somewhere in May. And from what I read about the other sources, Bob Arum mentioned that all negotiations are being handled by their Japanese counterpart and Arum's role is to oversee about it as he's nothing to worry about what's happening behind the scenes because it's not his first time negotiating with Inoue's main team. But for Al Haymon of the PBC, he's not making any noise and it seems that he's just letting Fulton do what he wanted as long as they have the bigger slice.
1100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: February 23, 2023, 09:01:07 PM
