1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use Cashback or bonuses? on: January 22, 2017, 04:32:13 AM
Hi guys!
Nearly every online bitcoin casino offers many many bonuses such as free spins, deposit bonuses etc. Many casinos (for example Oshi) offer you a choice whether you want to use bonuses or get cashback from your losses. My question is which of those option do you prefer and benefit from? Why?
Let us all know Smiley

no i have never used any of the bonuses, because they are always bad and end up being useless bait for the users to make a deposit. in most of the casinos that i have seen they lure you into making a deposit in the hopes that you get a big reward as bonus and can cash that out at least after a couple of bets but end up losing all your money and not be able to cash out anything because you haven't reached 1 million, 10 million, ... bets yet Cheesy

and i have never heard of Oshi casino so no i have never used anything that this site offers.
1082  Bitcoin / Electrum / Do i have to upgrade each time a new version is released? on: January 22, 2017, 04:24:25 AM
as the title says.
i want to know, each time Electrum releases a new version such as 2.6, ..., 2.7, ..., 2.7.3, ..., 2.7.15 , and so on do i have to upgrade to the newer version or can i keep on using my old version.

i will upgrade from 1.9.x to 2.0 and 2.x to 3.0 obviously but i mean all in the middle.
1083  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bubble 3.0 on: January 22, 2017, 04:09:16 AM
Hopefully we'd establish a $1000 baseline by month's end.

Although the thing that bothers me is that the more the BTCBTCBTC's price rises, the more regulators will look into it. 2017 might be the year we see a full scale taxation of BTCBTCBTC.

whethere any of the governments tax bitcoin or not will not have much effect on bitcoin price.
because most of all, many other things are taxed such as Gold and you don't see gold price going down and bitcoin is 1000 times better than gold.
and also if the governments start taxing bitcoin it means they finally recognized bitcoin as a legit thing and that also means lots more adoption the day they announce it and lead to a huge price rise over night.
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in China on: January 22, 2017, 04:04:09 AM
China never banned bitcoin.
China never even talked about banning bitcoin.

what you heard was called FUD, which is spread only to push the price down. and they did it because price of bitcoin went upsuddenly and they sold their positions, and wanted to buy more coins.

now that they have bought cheap coins they stopped the FUD for the time being and price is going up
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / has any casino ever been hacked losing a lot of money? on: January 21, 2017, 05:07:13 AM
i was talking to someone about bitcoin the other day, introducing him to bitcoin and also talking about what trading is and where he can do it.

then when i was talking about risks of keeping his bitcoin on exchange wallet and how many of them were hacked i was thinking that gambling sites are similar to an exchange, they are handling bitcoin (it may not be as large as an exchange but it is still big) and they have hot wallets.

so have any of them been hacked as exchanges were hacked?

if you are mentioning any here please add bitcoin price of that time or give a date so we can see how much money it was lost.
1086  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: are there any sites that pay PPC with bitcoin? on: January 21, 2017, 04:55:09 AM
speaking from experience nobody will ever click on your adds in your blog, and although each click is worth more when you get 1 click out of 1000 visits it is waste of time. instead use pay par view (CPM).

but here is the list of ad networks paying with bitcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1108616
1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break $2000? because of Trump? on: January 21, 2017, 04:49:31 AM
if we continue hyping this event more and mroe, then i am sure it will increase the price because of it. because it has been proven that in bitcoin whenever you hype some event a lot it will affect bitcoin price, such as India, Cyprus, .... buying bitcoin and also such as China, Russin,... banning bitcoin.
these news are small and irrelevant either to rise or to fall, but when they are hyped they become effective.

but the effect will always be small.
1088  Economy / Economics / Re: Are FIAT Currencies Facing an Extinction Level Event? on: January 21, 2017, 04:40:25 AM
no they are not because apart from a amall portion of bitcoin users, nobody else in the world thinks about using anything other than fiat currency. even most bitcoin users are just using bitcoin as investment and nothing more than that.
this is sad but true
1089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: January 17, 2017, 05:00:49 AM
my favorite game has always been dice, i know that it is not the best gambling game that we can find and it is deffinitely super hard to win in this game but i still like it because it is fast and risky enough to make a quick bet and test your luck.
1090  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low do you think the chinese volume will go, now that PBOC is auditing them? on: January 17, 2017, 04:53:04 AM
And all that fake wash trade volume goes away..

It already appears about 1/5th the volume and still dropping..

Will this cause the price to rise or fall?

i expect a drop down too but not to western exchange volume. it deffinitely is going to be still much higher because they still have 0 fee for trading and also there are lots of people over there trading bitcoin!

and it shouldn't affect price at all, technically speaking. because if we believe it was fake volume, nothing has changed. and margin trading that war removed i doubt have any significant effect on price.
1091  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Binary Options The Same as Trade? on: January 17, 2017, 04:45:19 AM
Is Binary Options the same as trade for you?

What are the differences?

For me binary trade same as playing head and tail or high-low dice, i will not recomend you to trade binary

binary options is still gambling and risky but it is not at all like dice or coin flip. because in those twoyou can't possibly know anything about the result unless you are cheating.
but in binary option, since it is working with the price it can be predicted to some extent but still i don't recommend it.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what's it mean : "Chinese Bitcoin Exchanges Stop Futures and Margin Trading on: January 17, 2017, 04:36:07 AM
this is only two features that they no longer will provide, it is not the end of the world. other exchanges don't have them and nothing is wrong.
besides i believe that they may finally start reporting some real volumes that are more logical instead of these ridiculous numbers they are currently reporting.
1093  Economy / Speculation / Re: Silence! accumulation? on: January 16, 2017, 04:36:32 AM
I think we have a winner.

Congrats. Now start going long for the next pump.

haha, i buy my coins before the silence and when there is lots of sound, the negative sound where everyone is crying why price is falling and bitcoin is dead.
and then i sell again only if there is a sudden rise not just small rises and pumps have been rare for some time.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you could create your own Bitcoin gambling site, what would you do better? on: January 16, 2017, 04:28:04 AM
In case you would have the knowledge to create a Bitcoin gambling site, what you would make different? How would your project be better?

i wouldn't do it because i lack the most important thing needed to become successful in this business and that is experience.

but as a user the different thing that i would like to see in casinos is newer games, not just the same old thing we keep seeing pop up, lots of promotions to keep me interested and also i like to see P2P games not just playing against the house.
1095  Economy / Speculation / Silence! accumulation? on: January 16, 2017, 04:17:54 AM
once again, things are silent around these parts. not much talk about price and looking at the charts price is stable once again and each time this happens i see everyone accumulating bitcoin to get ready for the next phase of the rise.

what do you think?
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Preferring the technology not the coin on: January 16, 2017, 04:12:00 AM
the technology that bitcoin made famous, blockchain technology, is open source and free for all to use and since it is a good technology everyone is interested in using it, banks included.
but this doesn't mean bitcoin will be adopted less or more. since bitcoin is offering decentralization it will remain separated.
1097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: January 11, 2017, 05:29:03 PM
I think both are almost the same. It also has a high of risk. It just depends on your skills, If you have a good strategy better be gamblers. But if you are bad in strategy, you can find a pretty good gambling sites for investment and you can see the reference of this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408.0

Why do you insist that there are working strategy? there isnt any strategy at all. There is also no such thing as good or bad gambler if all the things that you are playing actually consist of luck based. In the end all you need is to have some bankroll to wager and you could play however it is still much better to invest then to gamble

he is saying good strategy, i am not sure if he really means it but in my experience there are good strategies and there is a difference between a good strategy and a 100% working strategy.

you have to think of it as a way to better your results not make them all win. for example with a good strategy you can win 20% more times than you were winning before.
1098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There are 196 countries in the world, China is one of them on: January 11, 2017, 04:59:32 PM
because China is the country that has most of the people using bitcoin,

you have to way of knowing this other than saying something based on pure guess and the "highly possible" fake volume report from their exchanges.

You obviously did not see the EGD scam that caused the drop in price this morning did you?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1745789.0

Where was it Huh CHINA! Grin
And now the regulatory rules begin there where most of where bitcoins lie and are being mined.
No need to re write what everybody knows already.
And how long have you been on this forum to not know the facts of reality of bitcoin again? Roll Eyes

Nuff said! Wink

that news is from 3 days ago and price went down a couple of hours ago.(and a scam that big in MLM is not the first time)
and regulations have alwys been in bitcoin world. many nations in US have regulations such as bitlicense in NY, Canada has been talking about some, Japan also,... nothing is new here.
1099  Economy / Speculation / Re: Someone knows something on: January 11, 2017, 04:54:08 PM
it is known and normal but the difference is that this time the market makers put it under magnifying glass and started spreading FUD to dump the price because the market makers decided it is time to see some more cheap coins in their pockets for the next rally to make more money and become bigger whales.
1100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There are 196 countries in the world, China is one of them on: January 11, 2017, 04:48:21 PM
i am really getting tired of seeing all this talk about China and bitcoin. everyone should start talking about the other 195 countries instead of focusing on what people are doing in China when it comes to bitcoin.

Well ask yourself the simple question, why people talk about china in a bitcoin forum? must be because they own the mining game? must be because the are at the top of bitcoin volume?

Like it or not, as long as those are facts, people will talk about china all day. The rest of countries don't have anything to do unless they want to challenge china's monopoly.

no, it is not because of that. they talk about China only becasue they are idiots and they do not have a good memory, at least not a long term memory anyways.

not so long ago US had the majority of hashrate. only one of the many pools, located in US had more than 51% hashrate , nobody said US is controling bitcoin.

We can talk in terms of trading volume instead but we'd still have a big red elephant in the room that everyone wants to ignore.

that may be it but i personally can not believe the massive numbers they report is real.

Can someone from China please chime in, and tell us what the heck is going on over there?

it think it was 8btc.om that had valid news from china.
and this is a regular inspection, nothing out of the ordinary.
