I have and I am far from a child. I have found giving people the time and resources to accomplish a task leads to a far greater chance of success than micro managing and harassing them. But what Do I know. Yep, i get that. But the other necessary element, is how their progress is measured. Lets imagine the manager sits down with the employee who has been given a fairly large budget for his 'project', several weeks ago, for the weekly briefing.... Manager : "So employee, can you bring us up to speed on what you have carried out, what's been achieved over the last week, and what the plan is for the coming week?" Employee : "Cant show you what ive actually done, and dont feel i need to show you any evidence, cos i dont work like that. Just trust me. We will get there in the end. Next week? I will be talking to a few people.....probably. Depends if i feel up to it or not. Updates? Geez, Mr Manager, you ask too many questions man. Anyway, must be going. Maybe see you next week....or not." Arrogance like that, would get you sacked, and Im not the only one asking for much more communication, Rofo. If it bothered me I would have moderated this thread harder and caused a real storm, considering it's self-moderated. Im reading that, as you are not bothered if milestones are not achieved. Good point. I forgot about that little extra.  Just consider though, that Ryan will probably leave the country at some point. He had a UK address posted on these boards a while back. Getting the same address as what the police have on file, would be the key here. Then again, you could go after Katie Hopkins also. Sometimes I'm really good at reading between the lines, sometimes I'm not. Here, I'm not. Can you elaborate on why you used "Katie" as a opposed to "Chelsea" in your post? Was it a mistake? If it was not a mistake, how do you know "Katie" is correct? Ryan used a fake name in his corp paperwork and in public, I don't know why it would be unfathomable for his partner in crime (metaphorical, of course - innocent until proven guilty, etc.) to do the same. I'm one of the ones who lost darkcoins on Mintpal. I'm only adding myself to the list now that I see green/kennedy being arrested. I lost 493.11 DRK and even if I never see them again I'd like to be added to any proceedings. Is it of any use to speak to police in the UK (where I live), should I lodge a complaint to them myself or is there a specific channel anyone would advise me to follow.

If you live in the UK, you may want to consider a small claims case..... https://www.gov.uk/make-court-claim-for-money/overviewYour DRK are maybe worth enough to you, to pay a small court fee to claim their worth from Ryan. Fact is, you have an excellent chance of winning the case, considering the evidence now against him, and his arrest. But the fact also is, is that Ryan will not attend, and probably throw the court papers in the bin as soon as he gets them. However, by him doing this, will mean you win the case by default anyway, which eventually means you will be entitled to send bailiffs to his house when he doesn't pay the court what the judge says he owes you, plus your original court costs. If it was me, and i had the extra £200 (which Ryan will also have to pay you) it will cost in total, and the time it will take to fill out the forms, i would gain immense pleasure watching from the other side of the road, him argue with bailiffs as they enter his house and remove items. Once bailiffs are involved there is a very very high chance you will get what you are owed. |

Hey there busoni. Haven't been able to access my poloniex account all evening. e-mail and password accepted ok, but for some reason no longer accepting my Google 2FA. Is this an issue that is also affecting other people's accounts or is it just unique to mine? If unique to mine, how do I go about rectifying the situation since I can't login to the system to create a trouble ticket?
Be sure to sync the time on your device, if you havnt already. This is the common problem, with what you are describing. |

Final update.
Busoni contacted me yesterday, to ask what my ticket number was, so he could understand what happened, as he hadn't read my messages sent to him, here, and he did not know anything about my issue/s at Poloniex. This is the reply, today......
"I wish I had a better reason for you, but the delay was just due to someone losing track of your ticket. I'll rearrange some things to try to prevent this happening in the future. It is unacceptable, and you were right to be as pissed as you were."

Most devs dont "care" because they aren't devs. All they know how to do is clone a coin and slap a website together and promise you the moon.
There are only about 10-20 serious and devoted devs in crypto. And maybe a lot of them will burn out. Then consider out of them, they are overworked. I know I sure as hell am. Then consider they deal with tremendous pressure! They work on open source so the reward is diminishing if they dont make it and they have to compete with people who are not devs, but only know how to raise funds with vaporware.Then consider how many of those devs are just greedy and their projects need to be equally innovative and creative. If they have no marketing, they also might hit many road blocks. Getting assistance is hard too because most coders dont understand blockchain tech (maybe only so few cryptographers in the world who will work in cryptocurrency).
In a game/business/(all current industry) with a mix of honest people and liars expect the liars to always rise to the top (because they can cheat and you cant). We are in a growing industry so expect this environment to hinge on what I've just said here.
Only the very lucky few honest people make it because their products were powerful enough and didn't get sabotaged. Crypto is not a healthy industry because it revolves around money and thus is currently driven by greed not ideology. This doesnt mean it wont progress though. It will but it will probably end up in the wrong hands.
Hopefully, new people can come into the space and develop but then again with the open source issue they would need some serious motivation. Devs are not fund raisers and fund raisers are not devs.
Dont let this demotivate you, in contrast, it should help you notice the projects that are worth their salt.

I'm a fundamentalist when it comes to economics and investing, yet still, looking at this 1-week $VIA chart at bitcoinwizdom makes me wonder if Viacoin is about to break upwards. These 2 so-called support and resistant lines will converge in the next 2 weeks... Perhaps something boiling under the hood. Then again, I was never a technician trader and I might be hallucinating... hehe   You are not. That is as classic a double bottom as they come... That said, TA is arguably something that works because some people actually believe that many will follow those patters and, conse .... consequently, becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. ? |

Finally, today, i get my coins back. That took 12 days, 5 messages to Busoni here (all un-replied), and 5 emails to Poloniex.  What a horrible burden, i must have been. It was fun while it lasted Poloniex, but bye bye. |
