Juventus looks like the main favorite here and i think they might win easily this duel against Sevilla. Juventus defence looks really good and i doubt that Sevilla can penetrate it that easily. Also Roma vs Leverkusen for me might be a low scoring match due to the playing style of Roma. Juventus vs Sevilla for the first leg of the Europa League semi-final will take place in less than an hour from now. Sevilla did beat Manchester United to find Juventus, but I think these are two very good teams and maybe it's hard to guess. Manchester City had all of the chances, but none of them resulted in a goal. Real Madrid got control of the ball and scored after a few attacks on Manchester City. I know the game will become more intense now that possession has returned to Manchester City, who will almost certainly score an equalizer before halftime. This is an intriguing football game in which the outcome cannot be predicted. I'm confident both teams will score a goal, but the lucky team will win. I think Manchester City have played the game according to plan where from the first half they really managed to put pressure on Real Madrid quite well. But unfortunately, Real Madrid actually escaped the pressure and launched one of the best counterattacks and scored a goal. Of course this was unfair because Manchester City were very good in the first half, but they failed to find a goal despite having more shots on target. I'm looking forward to the second half being even more intense than the first and I think Manchester City can score or maybe keep it 1-0 to the end. After they recovered so well from this horrible start into the season, they are now weak because of their mental situation. They cannot handle the pressure that out of a sudden is now rising because Liverpool started a winning streak. They were certain that they would be safe into the Champions League, but now I believe that they are still going to lose it. Liverpool will keep up the pressure now. One more loss and it is a real one point game between Manchester and Liverpool competing for 4th rank. Of course, Manchester United have been under a lot of pressure since Liverpool managed to find their best form again. Manchester United's form is currently down and it may get worse if Liverpool can take over the Champions League position for the rest of the season. I would have expected Manchester United to fail in the end because they have been good enough while Ten Hag was in charge of the team. For the remaining 4 matches of the season, Chelsea and Fulham will probably be very difficult to beat. Chelsea will try their best to avoid defeat, while Fulham is also planning the same. Wolves and Bournemouth might have had an easier time, but I can't confirm those two match Manchester United can win. |

Real Madrid looking soft and disappointing in tonight game and it appears that the bookies were right that favored Manchester City since this first leg,as things stand right now and if City qualifies further then most likely they are going to be the Champions League winners this year which would be the greatest achievement for Pep Guardiola after being so near winning it for several years now.They have beaten Bayern Munchen,one of the teams that had 0 lost games in Champions League until they met Manchester City and now they are playing much better against the queen of Europe and if they eliminate Real,they fully deserve the title. I don't think Real Madrid are the favorites to win the first leg against Manchester City. It seems to doubt Real Madrid's low chances because they are an experienced team and also playing at home. However, it is possible that Real Madrid will lose at home if Manchester City are really able to put pressure on Benzema cs throughout the match. It is worst for Osasuna who currently is not in a good position in the la liga standing, neither have they won any trophy this season. I don't expect Chelsea to win any match. If Chelsea can win even one of their next 5 matches I would say they will win unexpectedly. Because the performance of this team is very weak. There is no understanding between the players. A weak bond between players makes performance impossible. Will play an away match against Bournemouth. With just one victory in their previous eight matches Juventus has been having a difficult time of late. To be clear Juventus is not an exception to the rule every team experiences trying times. The team's poor performance can be ascribed to a number of things, including injury, exhaustion, and tactical choices. Juventus has a fantastic chance to turn their season around when they play Lecce next, but it's critical that they go into the match with a winning attitude. Despite the fact that Lecce has also been having trouble, Juventus must perform well and cannot afford to be complacent. Juventus still has a good team and the capacity to win despite their recent setbacks. Juventus failed to win 4 of their last 5 matches, it is clear that their poor form may still land them in trouble before the season ends. Juventus are under pressure from Inter, Milan, Roma and Atalanta who are all trying to win Champions League tickets. The difference in points is only 3 and 5 points, so of course Juventus really feel that all the teams mentioned are a big threat to their chances of securing the Champions League zone position. To be honest that I would discredit Juventus who this season got the points ban lifted but failed to qualify for the Champions League next season, it's too bad to be true. The match against Lecce is the best chance to stop the bad trend, so victory should be a target they can really achieve. |

Chelsea are playing very terribly at the moment and I think it might be a great timing for Arsenal to make use of this opportunity and start to regain their winning form in their next upcoming match against Chelsea. Did anyone of you watch the Sevilla vs Girona match?
I think it's an interesting match even though both are mid-table sides this season. Sevilla, who are unbeaten in their last 5 matches, had to loss by Girona 0-1 in the first half, but Sevilla completely dominated this match.
Sevilla is hoping for a win to boost their confidence as La Liga is not the only competition they have played in so far. Keeping in good form is expected as Sevilla are still in the Europa League so I think they will have to find a way to break down the Girona defense during the second half.

PSG played far from expectations in week 33, their statistics were far less than what Lorient got, and the visitors even scored PSG's goal before Ashraf Hakimi was given a red card. In my opinion, the defeat that PSG has just swallowed is very embarrassing, PSG, which has a number of great players, cannot get out of the pressure even though it has superior ball possession over the visitors.

Every defeat that a top team experiences to a relatively lower ranked team is always said to be embarrassing. But I'm starting to think that losing like that sometimes makes sense when you don't have a full squad and are down to 10 men from the middle of the first half. PSG were basically able to offset Lorient's resistance in that match, but PSG's defense seemed to have problems when Lorient attacked. PSG's defense has been unbalanced this season, in fact they are quite weak compared to Lens who are currently in 3rd place in the Ligue 1 standings. PSG must find a solution for its defense, it will only be very balanced with its quality players in attack. Until week 33 PSG has conceded 34 goals, 3 goals higher than the number conceded by Nice. Obviously that is an unpleasant statistic for a team like PSG in my opinion. |
