Maybe we will have something nice to come in remember remember the bull of November..

By November the European economies will start to disintegrate so I say no.

The list should read things like "Bitcoin poses a threat to the banking system".

$SPX 2W Timeframe - 2008 vs 2022

2008:
- 7 MA crosses 25 MA, market drops towards 100 MA.
- Retests 25 MA before further falling down 50%.

2022:
- 7 MA crosses 25 MA, market drops towards 100 MA.
- Retests 25 MA (Currently) with a very bearish candlestick.

I prefer vote "continual rolling" over "reverse order of standings"! People shouldn't be punished for having a good season/record...everyone should have a fair chance at getting the #1 waiver priority throughout the season.

Reverse order of standings would help those that get shafted in the draft or had some bad luck with injuries.  It would also make the league more competitive as time goes on, and maybe prevent any one from getting discouraged and quitting.  I'm okay either way, but I think I like reverse order of standings better.

So yeah looks like this needs to go up for a vote.

My thoughts are torn on this, on the one hand I think everyone should have a chance at the top waiver but on the other hand I was literally kept alive by the setting we had last year and it did make it much more fun for me being in last place most of the season. With my injuries last year I think I ended the season with only one player I drafted! Cheesy

So I'm going to abstain on this vote unless we need a tie breaker at the end.

This is the description of the setting:

Quote
If waivers are enabled, all players dropped from a team's roster are immediately placed on a waiting period from zero to seven days to give all managers a chance to claim those players. Choose the waiver processing option best suited for your league.

In a normal waivers systems, waiver priority determines which manager's request is processed first.

Continual rolling list: waiver claims are processed in waiver priority order and each successful claim moves a manager to the end of the waiver priority list
Reverse order of standings: waiver claims are processed in reverse order of standings and successful claims do not affect waiver priority list
Weekly rolling list based on standings: waiver claims are processed in reverse order of standings and each successful claim moves a manager to the end of the waiver priority list

Listed in draft order:

1.  bbc.reporter     Saylor Jerkers
2.  Hhampuz         tẁΈńtĩώăn
3.  morvillz7z       Taco Corpse
4.  wheelz1200     Eli-2 Brady-0
5.  DireWolfM14    Sativa Rollers
6.  South Park       South Park Q/Cows Reloaded
7.  nutildah           Bombay Bengals
8.  Hueristic          Hueristic's Barbarians
9.  ChiBitCTy         ChiBitCTy
10. suchmoon       Mooin Coiners

OK, everyone has joined so I set draft order and did a final setting run through.

I noticed "Determine waiver priority by" is set for continual rolling list which is yahoo default.

We had "Reverse order of standings" last year.

Should we vote on this setting?

I also changed "Lock Eliminated Teams" setting as it was set to no and there is no good reason for a team that has been eliminated from both consolation bracket and playoff bracket to be changing its roster.

Also we have 8 days until draft so we need to make sure everyone that is going to vote on the settings has done so so we can be certain all the settings are correct and we should have that done by a week before draft I would think.

So everyone take the time to look through the league settings and make sure they are what you want and if not bring it up right now.

If I forgot anything let me know.

Either way a clear bullshit story against pow mining.

Oh, I agree on this, my point was they are using it as a scapegoat for their worthless infrastructure and since its being subsidized that makes it a perfect target.
1109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 24, 2022, 09:18:24 PM

I think their main issue is the fact that the miners as predominantly being run on Subsidized locations and causing the Gov to look bad with the rolling brownouts.

I watched this disturbing documentary about homeless people in the USA the other day.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwDAaKJXKPE&ab_channel=JavaDiscover%7CFreeGlobalDocumentaries%26Clips

I'm not saying you can fix these types of issues completely only with money. The whole attitude of low wage pay by massively rich companies seems to be the biggest problem.
If a person working two full time jobs still can't afford to buy a home it just doesn't seem right.

I saw a job advert a few years ago at a Shell garage at £8 per hour. So the people selling the actual commodities to individuals get paid the absolute lowest in the massive chain. Madness.

Furthermore, people forget just how much $300 billion really is. You can in fact buy a $300,000 home for a million people! And better, put all those homeless people to work to build them in the process.

Just using it to pay off some debt by creating new debt seems completely insane to me. These ex students shouldn't be the most needy in a country. And if they are then they shouldn't be wasting their time going to university in the first place.

This can all be traced back to legalized lobbying, only the rich can afford to buy the lawmakers and push their agenda.

Its a death by a thousand cuts situation where every little thing the rich are allowed to get away with gets heaped ontop to become the straw that broke the camels back.

The trap is the rich think they need to compete to stay where they are and the inevitable place they can cut the bottom line is always the people that do the tasks that can't be automated.

The thing is when one of them cut lets say health care and then lowers their price to compete then the next domino company has to do the same, its a race to the bottom.

That is why some regulation is necessary such a s a living minimum wage.

Congress has given themselves 4 raises without passed a minimum wage increase (this is off the top of my head I may not have the number correct but i'm too lazy to care enough to search the current numbers). And this correlates to people being able to afford a home, it has nothing to do with healthcare or forced insurance.

Once Walmart got away with cutting their workforce to part time workers to avoid having to pay benefits all the other industry had to do the same to stay in business. I remember back then boycotting walmart for 20 years and telling people they are only fucking themselfs by shopping there but no-one listens and now we see the inevitable results. And now there is nothing else left and I have no choice but to go there.

If JimmyG does go to Seattle its really gonna change the rankings, atm I don't want any Seagulls! Cheesy

Or, pick their entire stable of running backs, lol!

I had Seattle RB's last year and they were a bit lackluster. Smiley

So is the entry fee set at .0025? I will pay as soon as that's confirmed, I just don't remember seeing any posts clarifying that nor do I see it in the PM message from Direwolf.

I also did not know that the entry fee has been confirmed already to be .0025. I thought the address sent in my inbox was only to make it ready once the amount has been confirmed.

Confirmed.

I sent out my entry fee to the escrow address provided by DireWolfM14, but happened to notice that only 4-5 people have paid so far. It would be ideal if everyone can send their entry fees in time before the draft, plenty of time still.

Missed not only weeks 1 and 2 of preseason but all the surrounding news/rankings etc..., i have to get my shit together before the draft so Barbarians don't kick my ass in week 1.  Tongue

I'm not sure if the schedule will change when I change the draft order.

Either way I'm itching to get my team and goto war! Smiley

I cannot think of any way out, except to be depressed about the whole matter.

The only way out is to scrap the whole fucking system and design a new one.

I recommend it being based on time as the commodity and that time can then be ratioed for everything of value.
