1101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Skidoo Higher than Bitcoin on: June 09, 2017, 05:59:36 PM
Divide the marketcap by the amount of coins.

If I make a coin that has a circulating supply of 10 coins, and I get a marketcap of $1,000,000, then every coin will be $100,000 each.

If you still can't understand this, maybe you should do some basic math before venturing into crypto investing.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 110: Lewis vs Hunt Info and Prediction Thread on: June 09, 2017, 03:09:54 PM
I saw a podcast with Mark Hunt as he is pissed with the UFC and his last loss against Overeem he says that the UFC allowed him to use IV before the fight and he says it is cheating as he thinks it is not a level playing field with IV and lets not forget his law suite against Brock lesnar ,if things going with his out side life i doubt whether he will be focused enough to fight Lewis,it will be a good fight and i like to pick Hunt to knock Lewis out.

It's clear that Overeem is not natural, or at least he wasn't for lots of years, he looked like a damn bodybuilder, it's clear he was cheating. Not sure about now. What is IV?

Anyway Mark Hunt is an hero. He's the thorougher guy on the UFC ever.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Monero? on: June 09, 2017, 02:33:10 PM
Just to try to take advantage of the current mess that bitcoin is going through. Casino users are getting tired of long confirmation times and big fees. Casinos deal with a lot of inputs and outpost so when you withdraw you may get a big fee.

Use litecoin in your exchange, I think this one may be big for casino usage if bitcoin doesn't solve the scaling problem.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Monero? on: June 08, 2017, 06:34:35 PM
Seems like a good idea. Gambling is huge in crypto and casinos need liquidity that's fast and cheap to transact. Bitcoin is becoming increasingly the opposite of this. So if I had a casino, I would list Monero and Litecoin. ETH will meet the same fate, its blockchain is growing too fast.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Golem vs iExec RLC on: June 08, 2017, 02:56:26 PM
I have both Golem and RLC. I believe Golem has a great team capable of making things happen.

Golem has a huge continuity and a large team of talented dev. Brass should come sometime this month, you can try it out and judge for yourself Smiley.

Golem has a huge team and a very detailed roadmap. People in the community are very positive about them and they are sticking to the milestones they promised. I think it is a great project.

This is what im talking about. Mindless shilling, no real arguments. Just the usual "its a great project, people are very positive" etc.

Where are the facts?

Can anyone make a comparative to see the real differences between Golem and iExec to see any potential struggles during the roadmap?

I dont want to buy vaporware.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do N00b gamblers "Level Up"? on: June 08, 2017, 02:30:40 PM
Hello Pipols of Bitcointalk!!!

At avsbsports.eu we have many passions. We love gambling, we love games, we love sports, we love leveling up, we love learning and we love sharing that knowledge.

Thus, we ask you: What advice would you give to a novice gambler to help them "Level Up"? We will take your input and add it to our Newbies sections.

Thank You!

There's no other way to "level up" in gambling but to make your bet higher. Gambling is all about having balls and being low inhibition and taking big risks. Want to level up? then raise your bet, if you don't want to take higher risks you can't level up.

Of course, im not condoning taking mindless risks but that's how it is.
1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now that we are heading to BIP 148... on: June 08, 2017, 11:57:06 AM
I don't think nobody cares about dash, there's no conspiracy. Bitcoin is going through the usual scaling drama and people are speculating with other cryptos (mostly shitcoins) because nobody uses them so they are faster and cheaper than bitcoin. Nothing to see there.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: June 07, 2017, 06:12:28 PM
Winning mentality of Real Madrid was one of the key factors for winning championship. Many will disagree with me but I have seen that many times. Also I would agree with `sergio red`, Zidan is doing great job as a coach, He surely can find a way to motivate and compose team. We can see that as we compare Real in first and in second half. They define a strategy for second half and they did it well. Juve players helped them, also totally different team in second half. Second goal for Madrid was lucky shot, third came very fast, from that moment Juves game totally collapsed. They looked to me like a strong solid team during a season. Only three goals in their net and four in one game...

Cristiano Ronaldo is definitely the most ambitious football player ever. He always wants more. Most players become too complacent when they are rich, or maybe when they finally get golden boot and golden globe awards. He is on a mission to have the highest award count ever, and break all records. He has all cups, now he is just missing the world cup. I hope we can see Portugal win 1 world cup with Ronaldo before he retires.

He is a very competitive player and success has shown the entire world that hard work and dedication towards a goal will always accomplish it, he set his mind on becoming a world class player and he's been rated with Kaka, Ronaldinho and now Messi, if you see the timeline of these comparison, he will see that he has had  great career in football.

I think Ronaldo will retire way later on compared to the average player. Messi will retire before Ronaldo I think. Ronaldo is always in top shape and is super dedicated, his athleticism is one of the best ever seen. I think he could reach age 40 and still be able to compete at the elite.
Yes, maybe you're right, he have a good potential and a good body compared to messi. As you said, "his athleticism is one of the best ever seen".
I think he will retire way later after a big seasons in la liga with Real Mardid.

He's going to keep trying until near age 40 or so because he wants a world cup. In order to be a real legend in football you MUST at least win 1 world cup. He already got the Euro, now he needs to go for the world cup. So we have 2018, then 2022, I doubt he will still be around to be able to play in the 2026 world cup.

1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Anyone knows what is this website? on: June 06, 2017, 06:31:19 PM
I was searching information about the infamous "Bitcoin Foundation" (remember? Mark Karpeles and even his cat was a member of the foundation) and I found this website:

http://thebitcoin.foundation/

There's some texts there and some software that seem to be node software.

Doing some more Googling I found out its related to some bitcoin whale named Mircea Popescu. Also found out that this link redirects to this same website:

http://therealbitcoin.org

This is posted on the foundation site:

http://therealbitcoin.org/mailman/listinfo/btc-dev

Anyone know what all of this means?
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: June 06, 2017, 05:49:23 PM
I think, credit should go to zidane regarding the fantastic performance of Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid team, he has managed very carefully and wisely, it helped them fit and capable to do more...
Hopefully next year, this rotation system will bring out more good result for Real Madrid..
Really Zidane can give a very wise strategy, he always rotates every game so that all players always get a chance to play and the opportunity is not wasted by these players, so with the opportunity given that the Real Madrid players are good core or quality reserves to be the same.

I remember when Zidane was proposed as the trainer for Real Madrid, a lot of people said it was insane because Zidane was a player that retired not a long ago, and doesn't have any trainer experience to take the responsibility of 1st trainer of Real, and now he has proved everyone wrong making this awesome achievement of 2 wins in a row.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Golem vs iExec RLC on: June 06, 2017, 05:05:20 PM

Maybe it's better to read each white paper (Golem and Iex.ec) yourself.

Every post you will read here can be motived by the writer interest.

For serious project, you'll find full team ID too, and you can google them.

Honestly im no technically versed enough to read a whitepaper and know if im being scammed or not, so I hae to outsource and know the opinion of 3rd persons that are skilled enough.

The idea (in principle) is good, but again, i've read critics saying this is not going to work in practice.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Golem vs iExec RLC on: June 06, 2017, 03:11:48 PM
I've heard Golem is a scam because for it to work they would need to solve like 3 problems worth 3 Nobel Prizes each which is ridiculous. Is this true?

If so, then how does Golem compare to iExec RLC? In relative to total supply, at around $1 it may be undervalued, BUT i have no idea about the fundamentals and I don't want to buy into a scam.

Madrid the dominant force in Europe again & you have to praise them for it. Once Ronaldo retires though or moves on they will struggle, they rely on him so much.

If Ronaldo wasn't there would they still be this good? I doubt it, other teams would have a much better chance.
Definitely, ronaldo is the key player of real.. I don't see the team going anywhere without him (just like I don't see juventus going anywhere without Buffon once he retires, which won't be long from now seen his age)

Ronaldo is going to surpass Messi on the number of golden balls and if he continues being a solid performer he is going to make the highest amount of golden balls ever collected and go down in history as the best player ever. But never count out Messi tho, he is a genius.
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the total supply of BANCOR? on: June 05, 2017, 04:15:36 PM
Does Bancor have a limited supply? does it have inflation? We need this data to try to predict how high it could go, also to know what % of the supply will be held by mostly whales (since I predict it will be impossible to buy any coins at the ICO unless you are a whale)

who cares

Anyone investing on Bancor? If you don't care then why don't you just leave the thread.

If the supply is huge the price per coin will raise less and people tend to not hold long term. Total amounts and inflation % is too important to just leave it undisclosed.

Has this info been released yet??

Excellent performance by Cristiano Ronaldo as expected, I knew he would score the first goal and more than 1 and Real Madrid would win so I made some money. It was good to see a double win by Real Madrid, no other team has EVER won 2 champions in a row so that was a huge record which will not be beaten in ages.
1119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rumor: A massive whale will switch legacy coins for BIP148 coins after august1st on: June 03, 2017, 05:16:16 PM
Looks like some "Bruce Wagner" tier whale is getting pretty pissed at his billions going up and down everytime Jihan Wu and co tweet

Interesting. "Salty" whale we've got here, huh? Cheesy

so they may go all in on UASF to force them to mine the BIP148 segwit-enabled chain or else risk total bankruptcy by staying on the legacy, slow ASICBOOSted chain.

Force them with what exactly, missiles pointed at their mining facilities? And who exactly risks total bankruptcy?

We already saw BUcoin futures getting dumped in the market

This had nothing to do with Bitcoin and as far as I could gather it was simply an attempt from an exchange to have some profit.

You don't seem to know how UASF works. If Bitmain is still stubborn about not supporting UASF and they keep mining legacy chain, if UASF takes over then they will be mining an useless chain that gets wipped.

So it's on their interest to support UASF if starts gaining more and more traction.

Those that are thinking about dumping BIP148 coins for legacy coins... twink twice. The risk of reorg is there forever.

PS: This is just a rumor some guy may be spreading around on slack and so on, I know as much about it as you do.
