1101  Other / Archival / Re: Scammers problem solution on: August 12, 2017, 09:13:36 PM
I guess the best solution to avoid scammers are stay away on it, use your mind and think many times before making moves, also use an escrow or middleman so that you manage things to the one whom you transact with, there lists of escrows here which is reputable, also always bear into your mind that if it is too good to be true then it is not.

Sure, this is true but the problem with that is that scammers can be anyone -- even people you have dealt with perfectly before. I don't think it's valid advice to tell someone to simply stay away from scammers. Using escrows and middlemen are agreeably one of the best options that people have; however, your bit on staying away from scammers is almost like saying don't deal with anyone at all if you want to protect your money.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Safety. The safest cryptocurrency in the world. on: August 12, 2017, 07:00:02 PM
ICO now started £1.00 per block. 1 (One) block = 10 (Ten) tokens. Details and whitepaper on http://www.1mcloudatc.com/

1MCLOUDATC is the best kept secret in the cryptocurrency world.
It is by far the safest in the world.

http://www.1mcloudatc.com/

This is the wrong section. I'm pretty sure this should be in the alternate cryptocurrency section instead. Also as an announcement, you need to include more information. What makes this coin unique? Why would I use it over Bitcoin or even invest in it?
1103  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there a need for more escrows on this forum? on: August 12, 2017, 06:58:18 PM
From what I see newbie don't prefer to use escrow some of them just prefer to get scammed by others because they don't bother to search for one

Indeed basically is when we do something the transactions should be based on on some things that indeed if we don't really do well already be ensured substantial losses that surely we will get. Because of the nature of the transactions in this forum without a patron, when the one doing the cheating problem or Affairs be completed in seconds. Because it does not know who did it, just be careful when doing something

I think a lot of newbies don't prefer to use escrow because of how long it can take to set one up. Of course, the forum could have some changes to add an escrow into all deals somehow, but that would take some time to plan out and create a solution for. Oddly enough escrow conflicts with what Bitcoin wants to be -- an instant currency.

1105  Economy / Digital goods / Re: For Everyone Who Wants To Make Money on: August 11, 2017, 03:30:15 PM
Just don't fall for his lies and scams. He's going to keep posting as long as people keep falling for his lies. I think there's a pretty good dox on this guy in the investigation area where part of his information has been released. The scams have gone so far as to making someone want to do him. From what I know, he's 18 and often lies about his age online.
1106  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is Bitbay.net scam? on: August 10, 2017, 08:54:26 PM
@player514 - I'm 200% sure the address is correct. I have saved all the screenshots and etherscan is showing that the ETH has reached the wallet, however, when I log in to my account there is zero ETH balance, as well as zero under pending deposit. It's almost 3 hours now.

Also, the links you sent me somehow don't make any sense because I'm talking about polish Bitcoin exchange, link: bitbay.net

I tried to call their phone numbers but there is no answer, submitted a support ticket, messaged them on their twitter account - no answer. I don't know what's going on and feeling worried.

Gotcha. Sorry about the previous reply then.

However, just judging off of how you're not getting responses to a phone call, a support ticket, and a Twitter dm, I would not be surprised if this is a scam. Other websites would generally concern themselves with their users and such...
1107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchange and wallet to use? on: August 10, 2017, 08:10:55 PM
Hi, newbie here and I'd really appreciate any answers.

I've been reading like mad and just have some fundamental questions:
1) What exchange do you use? On that exchange, do you buy with market or limit orders?
2) What wallet do you use? I am interested in a paper wallet that can hold multiple kinds of coins, not just bitcoin.

And I think that's about it. Thanks!

1 if bitcoin pair fiat money iam use local exchanger my country
if altcoin, iam use bittrex, liqui, poloniex,c-cex and more
2 bitcoin wallet iam use electrum, altcoin wallet ussualy iam use official wallet , if use support much coin and safe you can use trezor
I will also agree with your recommendations. Bittrex and poloneix are two famous exchanges and a large portion of the traders are using these exchanges for the trading. As far as the wallet is concerned, electrum is the only choice. Electrum is not easy to use but also not easy to be hacked.

Electrum is really easy to use from my experience. I don't know why I was using blockchain for so long, but I was using it for a pretty long time and still use it for small exchanges online, but after I swapped to electrum, I didn't find any issues and it was pretty simple. I agree with the difficulty of it being hacked, which is a part of the reason why I personallly switched. OP, use electrum right off the bat. I realize I made a mistake with blockchain down the road.
1108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: August 10, 2017, 08:06:34 PM
Yes holding bitcoins for long term is the best and safe way to make good profits in future as holding doesn't involve any risk of loosing money and even if price crashes in short term you should not get panic and wait for the price to recover back in future.

However, from here on out, I think you have to invest a lot of money into bitcoin if you want to make a decent amount off of just hanging onto the coins. BTC is currently 3000+, where it has been fluctuating for a couple of weeks. Again, there is also a point where you have to know where to sell. There could be a day where bitcoin just falls apart completely, although I highly doubt that will happen now given the consistent support for the crypto currency across the globe.
1109  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is Bitbay.net scam? on: August 10, 2017, 08:04:29 PM
Hello, Today I deposit a few ETH to Bitbay.net but there is no sign of my deposit even after reaching 200 confirmations. When I go to my wallet it shows ETH balance as 0 and pending balance as 0 as well. Anyone used bitbay.net and have any experience? are they scam?

Are you 100% positive that you sent to the correct address?

Regardless, there have been a couple of posts here and across the web about bitbay being a scam. Take a look at this one bitcointalk thread from 2014: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=858921.0

Take a look at this reddit thread as well, it appears that a lot of people have tagged this site as a scam. https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/comments/4hcldx/do_not_sign_up_or_use_bitbay/
1110  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: August 10, 2017, 08:00:51 PM
I think it's impossible for this day, Unless you have all the access you needed. If you have a good mining rig then probably you'll have a chance somehow. Also, Invest and trading is also a good way to earn 1 bitcoin in month with a proper handling and right decisions. Well if the person's is eager to earn then you need to at least offer your services, most likely computer related stuff would be an advantage.

Impossible if you will not going to work harder or you don't have a lot of source. I still haven't earned 1 bitcoin per month but I'm not saying that it is impossible because there are a lot of bitcoin people in the world that are even earning higher than that amount because they are hard working and valuing time and effort.

They are earning because they also have an good capital to invest and also have an good knowledge of market which makes it easier for them to predictr the market and depending on that they make their moves which gives them profits regularly.

I don't think we always need huge amount of capital to earn huge or 1 BTC of amount to earn,  You can earn  a bitcoin with small amount of investment you just need right direction, and even many people earning without investment (money) by joining bounty campaigns.

Earning from campaign will give you limited income and you cannot expect huge outcome from it but there is no limit to your profits if you are good in trading and you can even make good profits on daily basis and most of the day traders are doing the same.
Yes you are right earning from campaigns "may " give limited income, but for now it is best way to earn upto 1 BTC from "
many" bounty campaigns and there was almost always signature campaigns are running you can join there but can't make 1 BTC.
And trading is only profitable if    have knowledge and skils ( i think so) unless it is best way to loos your money.

To earn 1 btc only from signature campaign will take years to reach that milestone but if you invest those earnings in trading slowly and steadily you can start multiplying your coins if you can handle trading smartly as it is the best way to make quick profits.
1 btc from signature campaign is really possible but as you said it would really be long to reach that goal knowing that signature campaigns do only give small amounts of payout on weekly basis or even on bounty its not really sufficient enough and if you are really serious on making that money then trading would really be the best thing even though you would still need funds to start out but remember its not easy as it sounds.

There is no method that can give you 1 btc in quick time and even trading you cannot expect to make that huge profits in quick time as trading can be risky if you don't have any idea about the markets and you cannot afford to invest blindly in any coins.

It is especially risky to invest in trade if you are a beginner. I recently traded and understand that this is a very big risk. But I get experience, which in the future will make my profit stable and losses minimal

Yes, and a lot of people jump into trading thinking they can make it big due to false marketing from a lot of investors. Actually, investing can be a money hole if you don't know what you're doing, especially because people try to advertise their own investment "tips" for your money. What this does is put you at an initial loss with a tip that could turn out to be completely incorrect. Unfortunately, a lot of people end up learning this the hard way...
1111  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Update: Poloniex not letting me withdraw my funds - ~46k on: August 10, 2017, 05:52:07 PM
Hello, this is an update post regarding my other post about Poloniex holding my funds of ~46k.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2067490.msg20639612

First of all, I'd like to thank each and everyone of you for supporting me and taking my side throughout this case.

Ever since that post I haven't heard a single word from Poloniex's team, there was no reply to any of my tickets nor to my PMs on here.
If I don't hear anything from them in the next 3 business days, then I will be, unfortunately, forced to take legal action towards this, since that'd be an obvious sign that my money has been stolen and they aren't trying to cooperate.

If anybody has any information that could help me, then please leave a comment or message me, again, thank you all.

Did you try to withdraw all at once? Could you try to withdraw bit by bit? I'm not too well versed on these trading sites, but on certain gambling sites, there is a withdraw limit. You can't withdraw more than X amount of btc/usd. Maybe trying to get a bit out would work?
1112  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Escrow Guide on: August 10, 2017, 05:02:43 PM
so Escrow is a bit off or not safe when it comes to selling codes? please correct me if I am wrong. Because if the buyer just got the code and used it and tell to the seller that code isn't working, then the fee will be on hold and chance to have it returned to the buyer. Or is there an agreement or something especially for this kind of "one time use" stuff?

It is definitely risky to deal with codes when you're making any transaction online for that reason. Generally, people can slightly get hints at whether or not someone is lying but this is really tough too. In the case where the code is used and it's claimed that the code is not working, the escrow could ask for proof of the code not working and try to see whether or not a scam was attempted.
1113  Economy / Goods / Re: Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Zebra - US9 on: August 09, 2017, 06:26:54 PM
$600 for this piece of  Shocked
I just saw similar shoes at Lululemon, they just started sales on it for $140. And I bet the quality is much better at lulu.

Lululemon?  I didn't even know they made men's shoes.   If you aren't in the shoe game, you wouldn't really get it...so $600 would seem ludicrous.  But yeezy's come out in limited numbers...I think the original Zebra launch had the lowest quantity of pairs released to date.

After the initial launch, I think the market price was around $1200 for them.   They only came down in price because Adidas re-released them.

A lot of my friends are sneakerheads, they pay what I think is absurd amounts of money for pairs of shoes. However, with that said, I don't think people should be hating on OP for selling his Yeezys on this marketplace. If you're not in the shoe market just keep your opinion to yourself. This is a selling thread not a discussion one...

1115  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there a need for more escrows on this forum? on: August 09, 2017, 04:42:10 PM
It is good to have more escrows here in forum since we are not came from 1 country and our time zone is different to other users here and most of the time some escrow are busy and we have a choices if there are more offer escrow services. Escrow is a must for big transaction to be made to secure both parties.
Time zones have nothing to do with escrow, it is for safe transaction between two(or more) parties so nobody gets scammed.
In my opinion more escrows is must have here because you will have better choice to choose trusted escrow and probably escrow fees will be lower.
No, time zone alone deciding the availability of escrow for a trade. If you watch in service sections, people come and cry out for searching for quick escrow services as they might be searching people who comes into forum in different time zones.

When we will be having more number of escrow to provide services in this forum, this kind of problems will be completely eliminated.
Yes,time also matters. Some body may need an escrow to finish a trade quickly and few escrows may be sleeping at that time since it may be night in their country. So,if we have more escrows belonging to different parts of the world, then one or few escrows may be available to complete the trade.I personally have lost 0.03 btc to a person who just went offline once he received my payment. So,its better not to bother about paying a small fee and use escrow to avoid such scammers.

If you see about timely manner we need more escrows as you said because reason same as you mentioned. This move will the forum people have trade and other digital sellings more feeble to everyone. Please be aware of the people be do trade in next time.

I guess so. The problem, again, is that escrows are not always online. They are not a computer system or script. That is why when people try to find one it would take them some time to get a reply. As well as when the deal is on going escrows takes so long too to reply. That is a problem, especially when moving time sensitive assets like bitcoins and other altcoins.

Do you personally think that having an escrow subsection in the services section would help out with the availability of escrows? I think a lot of people don't use escrows because they take some time to set up and people want their products quickly. The desire for this leads to scams and such. However, if we had an escrow section where anyone could go and read threads, then they could quickly check if a user is online to use for escrow.

Just based off the rates, I assume that these are cracked accounts or gift cards that you have illegally obtained yes?

If they are not, somehow, how long will these last for? Do you provide a warranty for these cards?
1117  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Find out if you can get steam games cheaper in different regions on: August 09, 2017, 03:34:37 PM
Link I found:

http://www.steamprices.com/us/topripoffs

People can use this to trade for games using BTC with people who can access the cheaper rates.

There used to be a whole trading scene where people bought from Russia and resold to USA steam users. A year or two ago they started adding region blocks I think to games that were bought outside of your country and were trying to be traded to you. So just note you can't have a friend buy a game and gift it to you from another country, that won't work.
1118  Economy / Digital goods / Re: New Gift Cards on: August 09, 2017, 04:08:04 AM
This guy is the biggest scammer sent him about $60 dollars in Bitcoin for a finish line gift card and he never replied.  I recommend staying away from this online gift card sellers don't trust any of them or go first ever, No matter what he tells you never send the money first they are heartless and will still your money.
I'm going back to school and that's why I need the cards so  I could afford some shoes but instead, he scammed me he is full of lies even if he gets banned he will make a new account and make fake vouchers and then he will scam someone else. I was really stupid for trusting him.

You should have taken a look at his reputation before he traded! Or at least opt for an escrow. That doesn't take away from the fact that he's a filthy scammer, no. However, I think it just adds to the fact that there is a trust system in place for a reason. Use it to confirm your deals and make this forum safe for yourself.
1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ㉫ ENJIN COIN [ICO] Ultimate Gaming Currency + Virtual Goods Platform on: August 09, 2017, 03:59:45 AM
Thank you again for the response @WitekRadomski

I know there's a lot of survival games out there, like H1Z1, PUBG, Dayz, they all have very similar loot systems and monetize with micro transactions, how can ENJ enhance the gameplay of these games when the Digital Assets / Items are often gone after they die or the game is over?

The only items worth anything in these games are the one's sold by the company which are mostly cosmetic, but there's no way to trade them or even if there was, there wouldn't be that much incentive in it's current state compared to CS:GO.

I think it's a challenge for some games, especially first person shooters that are really dependent on balanced game play.

I can't say that Enjin Coin is a one-size-fits-all solution for every gameplay situation. Games with very transient items like the ones you mentioned may continue to implement them as a temporary item on their servers. Where I see the benefit of Enjin Coin in those games are things like dog-tags for player kills across any server, an in-game currency, vanity items, and possibly consumables.

We are also brainstorming how best to implement no-drop items and will update the whitepaper when we've nailed that down.

What Enjin Coin does allow for is new gameplay experiences that weren't previously possible on any platform. The dog-tags system is a fun idea, and it would be fun to see decentralized "kill trophy" dog tags handed out for various types of achievements, either by partnered games and/or tournament platforms - or by unaffiliated collectives of gamers. You'd have notorious gamers wearing them as status badges which could be later adopted into various games and websites as these systems become popular.

I don't think we'll ever get a one-size-fits-all solution for the entire gaming community. There's just too much variation from platform to platform, game to game. However, I do agree with what you said about the benefits of Enjin Coin. It's definitely a big step towards uniting gamers while making their favorite hobbies something a bit more rewarding.
1120  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Office 365 on: August 07, 2017, 06:26:04 PM
even Office365 doesn't support 2013 anymore, if you got installer of office365 2013 (which not available on the office365 portal) you can still install 2013 and activate it.

I got the installer and I got a edu mail for activation, How much you will to pay?

I've got an account now lol (didn't read yours first) - really just need the installer now

Do you mean the iso for installing office 2013? I think those are free online right?
