1101  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: September 02, 2017, 12:25:06 AM
Hi guys. I have a question, if I lose trezor, then how can I restore access? is it enough to know 24 words?

Most who use a Trezor keep a spare on hand. All it takes is ten minutes using advanced recovery to restore your 24 word seed to the new Trezor. Make sure to upgrade the firmware first if your spare has been in a box for awhile. More information is in the owner manual.
1102  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think the price correction will occur? on: September 01, 2017, 09:15:46 PM
Correction will happen soon after the RSI on a three day BTC/USD chart goes over 90. Right now on Bitstamp 3d RSI is 79 so we still have a ways to go.
1103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking about making a Bitcoin mixer - suggestions? on: September 01, 2017, 05:45:01 AM
You don't need a mixer. You can simply send all bitcoins to an exchange, and then from there send to your new wallets, no one will be able to trace you then.

This is just wrong sending to an exchange and withdrawing to a new wallet offers no anonymity. The exchange can link your deposits to your withdrawals.

No they are selling all they can make without offering discounts.
1105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking about making a Bitcoin mixer - suggestions? on: August 31, 2017, 07:12:12 PM
Running a mixer would create a legal risk for you.

The bitcoin chainanalysis companies have software that can see past mixers now.

I would be interested in seeing information on that if you have any.

For obvious reasons the chainanalysis companies want to keep their capabilities secret, under the radar. A redditor in the crypto space went to a symposium earlier this year on AML/KYC for off ramps and he posted what was revealed and it caused a minor fuss. It was eye opening just how advanced chainanalysis has become. He since took the post down wish I had taken some screenshots. I do not think the companies who sell their analysis want their full capabilites known to the public. He did make the point clear that mixers are now worthless.

@Dotto thanks! Use tools > draw Fibonacci extensions
1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking about making a Bitcoin mixer - suggestions? on: August 31, 2017, 06:18:26 PM
Don't waste your time. The bitcoin chainanalysis companies have software that can see past mixers now, and have for some time. If you rely on a mixing service to anonymize your bitcoin when it comes time to cash out you may get a surprise. If you have bitcoin you need to anonymize you have to swap to an anonymous coin like Monero and back. The authorities hate Monero because they can not pierce the veil of that blockchain.
1108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 31, 2017, 06:11:41 PM
$5000 is a psychological barrier for sure and some analysts are calling for a correction at $4800 because $4840 is a local Fibonacci 2.618 extension from last swing low:

However the 3 day RSI is only 78 so not overheated yet. When RSI is over 90 I would look for a correction, based on this chart.
1109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin top 5000$ on: August 31, 2017, 05:54:42 PM
$5000 may be too low. Some advanced analysts using point and figure charts and Fibonacci extensions call for a top from $5500 to $7000. You can just use RSI on a three day chart to pretty much call the top: when RSI is over 90 look out for an imminent correction. Right now RSI is 78 so the top seems a ways off:

1110  Economy / Speculation / Re: predictions of the price of a Bitcoin by the end of 2017 on: August 31, 2017, 03:18:53 PM
I think $7K is possible by November also think that will be the top as predicted by Fibonacci extensions from last ATH. Legacy Bitcoin will then enter a bear market and lose 78.6% of its value dropping to about $1200.

Masterluc's parabolic spoke to $30,000-40,000 is slowly developing.

i follow his analysis too,he say there is no resistance till $15000,so i will holding my bitcoins . i think this bull run just begin .

There is resistance at $7000 due to a long term Fibonacci extension. Also reinforced from point and figure charts.
1112  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.15.0 Release Candidates Crashing on Windows on: August 29, 2017, 08:22:14 PM
Install a more recent version of Windows. You immediately get rid of many problems, such as drivers.
Alternatively, you can run a virtual machine with Windows 10. To create a virtual machine, use this software https://www.virtualbox.org

Bitcoin Core 0.15.0 has to be stable on Windows 7; asking users to update to Windows 10 to run latest Core is not an option.

Consider doing it yourself with Wordpress and WooCommerce. Check out WooCommerce to see if it has plugins sufficient for your needs.
1114  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: TREZOR Hardware wallets? on: August 27, 2017, 08:35:36 PM
Is it safe to have backup of seed at friends if it is protected by additional passphrase offered by hardware wallets or is it easy enought to brute force it?

Using passphrases is a great idea but you are always better off keeping control of the seed yourself. Put it in a safe deposit box.
1115  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: August 27, 2017, 05:36:20 PM
Trezors did not ship until 2014. Webstore was open for sales August that year and pre-orders shipped a few months earlier. Back in 2012 we used Armory with two computers for cold storage.

Hello, everyone!

Yesterday I received my Trezor wallet, and I have a few questions (tried to google answers, but with no luck Sad )

1) If my Trezor wallet is broken, can I get access to my BTC/ETH wallets using a 24-word passphrase without buying a new Trezor wallet?
2) The same question on "password manager". Can I have an access to my passwords using only the 24-word passphrase or I'll need to wait until the delivery of the new Trezor wallet.

Thanks!

You don't have to have two. You can easily recover your wallet from seed with electrum desktop client

Recovering your seed to Electrum desktop client or Mycelium on Android exposes your seed. You could do it in an emergency but you would then have to buy a new Trezor, initialize it and send bitcoin from Electrum or Mycelium to the new Trezor with the new seed. Exposing your seed defeats the reason you use a hardware wallet in the first place.

Just received my set thanks Max! Well worth the wait. The bars are shipped in a clear ziplock bag inside the red velvet pouch with a stand separate.
1118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: August 25, 2017, 03:56:31 PM
There are resistance at 4000, 4500, 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500, etc... At every 500 increase, there's a big resistance. It's laughable to say it will zoom up from 3500 to 15000 with no resistance. Everyone knows this, the past few weeks have proven it's true.

Analysis clearly shows a rise to 5000 by end of this year, barring any major screwups in November, you know what I'm talking about. SEGWIT2x.

Further analysis also lucidly indicates the crash in Jan'2018. The new year will usher in a long bear market. There will be blood in the street. You will wish you had never heard of bitcoin and its ilk.

As much as I respect masterluc I think this bull market cycle will top out at $7000. I used previous Fibonacci extensions and point and figure charts to arrive at that number. This is the time to start selling BTC and hold BCC. Of course bitcoin can surprise so never sell all your bitcoin.

For security most people who use Trezor keep a spare around in case of loss or malfunction. That way you can recover your seed on the new device and be up again in 15 minutes. Any work arounds using your seed in other wallets compromises your security not recommended. Get a spare!
1120  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Diff drop incoming? on: August 23, 2017, 08:25:18 PM
Miners have switched back en masse to BTC in a coordinated effort to make the BCH difficulty adjustment kick in again and it looks like that will happen in 7 blocks; at least two adjustments down. Then hashpower may start moving from BTC to BCH again depending on relative price.
