Why payout was made to BCH (same address, but not mine) not to BTC?
Understand, that not possible to return, but how can I start receiving to my address?

put a support ticket, if it happens quick enough, he can swap payout currency to BTC.

also, try generating a new RX address, and see if it has a problem with BCH again...

All you have to do is connect your miner and get one-2 shares, then view the wallet page, it will say it at the top on the payout totals table, it will say BTC or BCH.

Ive asked him about this scenario before, and found out that its the pool code having a mind of its own sometimes.  completely unexplainable as to why it will sometimes default/change to BCH.

i changed my address to http://zpool.ca/?address=1PcwSpQCSEpTizFKLYB5yf53o9mVDPMP83
but it again recognize as BCH
I didn't find place to open ticket.
Will try to find someone in chat https://discordapp.com/channels/376790817811202050/382162123192795136

Hi.
How to fix?

I want to receive payments in GBX (gobyte)

Thank you.

I'm having a similar issue.  Moved over from Nicehash when it went down and have been trying to get my machines back up and running ever since.
Installed Awesome Miner and pointed it to Zpool, fired it up and all looked great until I saw that the site reported that I was earning BCH not BTC.
Not sure where the currency is specified, but I want to be paid in BTC not BCH.

Can anyone help?

see:  http://zpool.ca/?address=1HrMPhbKT2droKxfjocc65SPvrCyy1yQcs

field pass c=BTC

Can you post a screenshot of where in the miner software I need to add the command line ?

coin selection is via the password.  c=BTC  means you request payout of BTC.

pohval:  if you didn't initially use a c=<payout coin> when mining;  make a second attempt;  with a newly generated address, using the correct password flags.  I.E. c=BTC,scrypt as an example.   Your password should contain at least 2 variables:  "c=" and the algo type(s) you are mining; separated by a comma with no spaces.  When you connect, wait for ~10-20 accepted shares, and check the wallet page for what it says your earned coin type is.  This way minimal hash is wasted in the retry.

If this second try fails, go to the zpool.ca mainpage, scroll to the bottom, and get support letting them know you need the correct coin type assigned to your payout address. (most likely it will end up having to be a newly generated address if the others can't be changed due to exchange processes that already happened.  Can't reverse it once the exchange process happens [to my knowledge].)

Been using it these past 2 days. I like it, simple to use and setup and does what it says on the box.

I've been having some stability issues though. Currently running 5x 1070's and 2x 1080 ti's in the rig on v2.2.1 zpool24hr. I'll set it and leave it but eventually the rig will crash and windows will only detect 2x GPU's that only a hard reset will fix.

All stock settings, virtual memory is at 32gb. You guys got any other pointers?

does it usually crash on a specific algo, such as neoscrypt?

Hey minerx117;

from seeing a few screenshots and comments recently, you should probably update your code soon to include the format <algo>.mine.zpool.ca

having too many connections on the one subdomain [mine.zpool.ca] was causing issues before, and he decided to fan the connections across another subdomain set.

I know connections work ATM when you simply put mine.zpool.ca, but at some point it won't, and in the past crackfoo has commented on the people still trying to connect incorrectly....

Just an FYI.

Hi, guys.
I moved here yesterday from NH looking for same profit. My 30+ L3+ shows roughly 5 times less than few days ago on NH. May be I wrong somewhere in setup? What is actual difficulty for L3+ ?

before disconnecting it, check your wallet page on the site and note the difficulty its currently at so it is known (assuming its has 1+hour of uptime)

do a google search for "zpool L3 diff"; that's how id find your answer.

compare it to your auto-diff.  if close;  auto diff is fine and its just luck in shares.

I have a steady hashrate on my machines;  and every now and then for a day or sometimes a week;  profitability via hashrate drops... it has always just been a bad string of luck in shares.

Okay thank you. What about the min payout? And is t base on pps?
PPLNS I believe.

min payout gets changes every once in a while is on the main zpool.ca site.
right now its:
Payouts are made automatically every 2 hours for all balances above 0.01 and balances more than 0.0025 are paid on Sunday evening. DCR requires min of 0.025 before payout will occur.

FYI, paying you in LTC relies on the pool finding LTC blocks to pay you out of.

Typically the first block you get a chunk of, if the pool doesn't have enough to pay you, you must wait for more to be found.  Its a complicated system, but there are alerts about getting paid in an altcoin on the zpool.ca homepage.

Actually, don't see it as trolling either.  Jaerin is being ignored.  I am also interested in this bug being fixed if it helps us all get 20% more profit.  I mean, why not?  It also benefits the pool owner, too.

I respect what you're doing, crackfoo, and I'm an avid miner on your pool, but AFAIK, you haven't addressed Jaerin directly about this issue, and when you finally did, it's calling him a troll.  Doesn't sit well.  Perhaps you're responding to those who says you're scamming them.  I think it's a misunderstanding.  If the 20% "fee" people are seeing is actually just a bug (sounds like the code is selling at the lowest possible rate to get a quick sell), then it's not really a scam.  I know things can get emotional, and people calling you a scammer will shut you down from listening to other people.

However, if it's just an innocent thing like a bug, it can be fixed.  I've seen you respond to people who are calling you scammers, but I haven't seen you respond to the legit posts of the code in question (from people like Jaerin).

So just to get the record straight, what IS your thoughts on this bug?  You you be implementing a fix when YIIMP adds Jaerin's fix?

If this isn't the thread to respond about the bug, then respond in the thread that is.  Either way, please respond directly about the bug and not the allegations.

Honestly, I think this IS the thread to post about it.  After all, it's a thread about zPool, and this is about zPool.

It seems harsh at first read, but understanding the word:

troll:
dwarf person of scandanavia? i think this is not his intended use of the word.
dragging something along?  yes.  obviously meets this definition.
being an antagonizer?  yes.  pretty simple here.
being harassing?  yes.  After repeated answers, its still brought up when not asked about...

i think the definition is clear.

IMHO It wasn't meant to belittle or denigrate him, he is simply fed up giving the same answers to Jaerin over and over again.... and is now being more curt and concise in his statement to him as I see it.

Anyways;  if the update happens on the main github release;  I am sure it will be applied as an update.... until then;  it is what it is.  I am sure crackfoo caries this sentiment.

My spot calcs so far have still been in acceptable bounds personally, and profitability is as expected... so in my eyes, its not a major issue to me and doesn't hurt my profitability.

This is why even though im not using it right away, I sprung for one of the B250 D8P boards.  Id say its like 2 1/4 card spacing or thereabouts between the 16x slots.  I think even with the huge behemoth coolers on EVGA cards there's still room to adequately allow you to pass air into that area and cool the fans enough.  Paired with the frame for sale on these forums... its going to be a little sweet unit =)

I am partial to EVGA cards, and their coolers have become quite large... but they are pretty efficient, and I have been waiting for a board like this to have surfaced.   I myself don't like reference style cards as they are engineered to fit in a small allotment of space.

Jaerin, you keep beating the dead horse [20% topic] in this thread;  to where its been stated many times there is a whole separate thread on this topic, that you have been posting in yourself.

The person asking about transfer fees costs has NOTHING to do with the display/calc bug that people seem to get/say randomly.... so, its hot wind that was not pertinent to his question at hand; and felt like a continuance your trolling the topic. I.E. trolling: Dragging along.

Im sure if the commit gets reviewed and added by the dev, crackfoo's pool code update will include it... but until that happens, I dont think he wants to guinea pig changes he doesn't understand on all of us.

I was one of the people that mentioned getting a rate that doesn't seem to make sense.... But I am going to give it a month before I decide what to really do.

In Awesome Miner, it claims that the value of my hashing power is always above $5 per day.... even after the creator of Awesome Miner told me to change my profit reporting to a 24 hour average... it still always reports above $5/day....

But I mined all day and night yesterday... and I made $3... then I mined all day today after the pools came back online... and I made $1

By comparison, I mined on Mining Pool Hub, and I made $1 in about 2 hours.

I like zpool, I really do.... but we'll see how it goes after a full month of mining. In the mean time, I am keeping all of my L3+ on a different pool.

yeah, but since there's been obvious DB/frontend/display issues on the website;  API can't pass on info it doesn't have, so reported earnings will be less until the system catches up.

Please read the last ~10 or so pages of this thread and you'll understand what I am getting at.

Nice, time to cool down my cards  Grin
via your screenshot, I see a problem:
update your launch strings to reflect the proper stratum addresses scheme

<algo>.mine.zpool.ca

I.E. scrypt.mine.zpool.ca

ccminer gives me this since about an hour ago before this post
[2017-12-09 11:31:57] Stratum connection failed: Failed to connect to lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca port 4533: Connection refused

Also I am a stupid previous NiceHash user and my coins show up as BitCash, am I still going to get paid in BitCoin, if Bitcoin Cash is sent to my address at any point, it will simply be lost my wallet host says (coinbase).

if the payout type is incorrect;  please stop mining to that account and try a new address with a proper password flag to set payment type.  If this fixes it, submit a support ticket about the initial account.  if caught early enough, the payout type can be changed.  if too long is waited, it cant be changed.

Hello I was using nicehash and now I am mining with zpool using awesome miner. My problem is that I cannot find where to set the option "c=BTC" in order to have my earning auto exchanged to BTC. Does anyone here know how to set this?

check the awesome miner thread.... I havent looked at its code, and im away working in the mountains with limited pc/internet use/access.

I am a new zpool member Smiley

Coming from nicehash, I had a question about min payments...   I see min payments are 0.0025 every Sunday (or 0.01 every 8 hours)

Nice hash did payments every 24 hours @ 0.001....  What was nice about this was that i gained BTC everyday that appreciated as the price goes up.  Now I get paid in BTC once per week at the rate I mined.   I lose the appreciate that took place over the week.  Now I realize  btc is on an upswing and that wont last forever but is there a chance of updating the min payments with the large increase in miners now at zpool?

correct me if i'm wrong, but .001 btc on friday will hold the same value as .001 btc on sunday, with appreciation

especially when you shouldn't count it as spendable until its in your wallet Wink

Or at the expense of confirmation, do a minimal fee for the TX and it happens when it happens........

When I used sites like luckyb.it, I would send zero fee TX's.  Took a while sometimes, but it was free.   See... back then, you had to go out of your way by a bit to attach a processing fee increase to your TX.

if you look at the whitepaper and satoshi notes;  you will clearly see that the fees were meant to scale....

you know....   exactly the same as the blockchain was meant to be able to scale (blocksize).   Blocksize was a preliminary spam protection implemented at its creation.
If only that the powers that be would make it so.... Speaking of scalability can we actually use segwit addresses here now that he upgraded the servers to support segwit? I haven't been mining here with a BTC addy lately but if I do I would rather use a segwit address.

look at strange transactions on the blockchain.info site... you will see people using segwit addresses already......  but honestly;  its a broken system... I have yet to see any benefit of core's batshit crazy choices recently;  other than the free funds I got from forks;  the people selling those and pumping the value directly into BTC........ but;  that can be done without the "censor-core team" doing what they have been doing.

You need to have 0.01 BTC for a payout. You have enough for a Sunday payout.

I will say this for all of the new miners, Sunday payouts usually happen at the end of Sunday not the beginning, so anyone that might be mining here from Asia (and even Europe) your weekly payout might not be until sometime Monday morning.

It is actually every 2 hours at 0.01. Maybe he'll do it if he goes back to every 8 or 6 hrs but even then I don't see him lowering it that much. Probably will not happen unless BTC fixes the high fees...

vosk;

check your board, is it s B250D8P 1.0 or 2.0?  (looks like 1.0, so phil will be able to comment a link for the one he uses) these will dictate memory type needed (ddr3 or 4)  I know phil linked the ram he uses somewhere ~20+ pages ago...

all of the molex/sata plugs need to be powered as per another member's reports... for the PCIE slot power draw.

You should re-read the mainpage of the website.

you select what coin you get paid in.  not what coin you mine.

I think that helped answer the problem I was having, but I am using Awesome Miner to hop algos.  Does anyone know if there is a way to specify your payout coin when using Awesome Miner?

the way its done is via the password.  im not familiar with their miner script, but i assume its similar to nemosminer and mine.

I.E: your password would be
Code:
c=BTC,scrypt

BTC is what you are selecting payout currency with, and scrypt would be the algo you are mining.

Hope it helps.

Is it ok to leave off difficulty?  I'm so confused what setting to put on there.

On their page, it says "By default, zpool will adjust the difficulty of your miner automatically over time until you have from 5 to 15 submits per minute. It's a good trade off between bandwidth and accuracy."

Do you guys leave difficulty blank?  I'm using Dash X11 D3 by the way.

best to let it do its thing, but a quick google search revealed this part from this thread:

I really want to mine at your pool, but every time i do it it pick ups the wrong coin to mine now and then even tho i speciffied c=<SYMBOL>.
For example i want to mine Innova, but i get this:

As i mine on non BTC address, but Innova address, why does it pick up other coins and why does it says exchange against Innova at the bottom?
I lose a lot of hash power(60 cards) for nothing. Can you explain to me what i'm doing wrong?.

How to download ?

The code you quoted needs to be saved as a text batch file (xxxx.bat).

The miner apps always change with new versions with more optimizations, so I dont link a specific miner....  but in my posts I do have the miner apps/versions listed that I use most commonly, you just didn't see the link in my post you quoted from that leads to the original post with more data Wink

shutdown, reboot and confirm.

now, add one gpu.

let it get to the point where both are detected again.  test.

reboot and confirm.... and keep adding one more gpu like this.
