More and more people only use the internet with apps and they wouldn't even use a browser to search and find us. Being found in a Playstore search could be very beneficial.
For example, freebitcoin can share links on apk-file and users add this app to trusted sources in settings. Some poker rooms are using this method to ignore the playstore. What do you think about it? What I said in my last post. The whole point of having an app would be to get exposure on Playstore. |

Why make an app, when the website is perfectly adapted to see on a smartphone? I don't really see a big benefit in this, but that can be personal.
What Kakmakr said. Your faucet expense might go up, but the traffic and exposure will go up significantly. It might just be a new off ramp onto the actual website, if you put some kind of notification that more features are available if they use the website. Play store does allow gambling apps, but only in the UK, Ireland, and France and only those that have gambling license. I think there might be a possibility to make an app that only allows free rolls and no gambling so we might give that a try one day. |

Yes, that's from a third-party. FBC doesn't feature ads at all and is already responsive on mobile devices. I have heard that changing the client seed for every game which make your chances of winning more ? Even in most of the winning strategies taught online, they say to change the seed after few games. Is there any logic in this ?
No. It's a provably fair game so there is nothing you can do to "make your chances of winning more" other than reducing the bet odds. Some people like to change the client seed on every roll because they think we might guess what they are going to do next. But that would be a stupid thing for us to do because if our server seeds weren't truly random someone would work it out and clean out the bankroll. |

Ah, so it's something different from the standard "I referred 50 instances of myself to farm the faucet, suddenly I blacked out and the next day I got banned" story  Only a little bit different. Their intentions were the same but they wiped themself out rather than me having to ban them. Each of their referred accounts deposited, made a 1 sat 1.01x bet followed by an all-in 1.01x bet, withdrew the full balance and then started botting free rolls without captcha and maximum FREE BTC bonus. We'll never know how many times they thought they could do it without losing. I think the 1 sat bet first was because they already had their sob story worked out as a backup plan in the event of losing. |

They did earn a partial refund in the 5,200,000 reward points they can encash. That's a part of what the house edge pays for. It's gambling buddy, not a charity organization... The second you hit the roll button, you lost the privilege to call it your money and I strongly doubt that you'd get it back, and from what I saw in one of your screenshots, they offered you ~0.065 while that's just 1% of your money, I'd suggest you take that and move on whichever way you can (and suicide is never an option!) No surely now they are not using Coinbase for storing bitcoins. And I don't think they ever used Coinbase to store Bitcoins. This is how they keep it (quote from Freebitco.in website): We use a combination of hot wallets, hardware wallets (Trezor) and BIP38 encrypted paper wallets to store bitcoins. At no time do we keep more than 5% of our total bitcoins in the hot wallet which is used for making payouts. The hardware wallet is used as a "warm" wallet and bitcoins are transferred from it to the hot wallet as required. Our paper wallets serve as our "cold" storage with the wallets generated on an air-gapped computer running Tails OS. Our hardware and paper wallets are also secured against physical theft as the hardware wallet requires a pin code and encryption password to access and the private keys in the paper wallet are encrypted which means that the coins in the wallet cannot be accessed without having both the private key and the encryption password. We also keep physical copies of the cold storage wallets at multiple locations. That needs a small update in that the Trezor has been replaced with a Ledger. I would recommend anyone using Coinbase to read their ToS and search for the word "gambling".

^Well, all of that talk was caused by me but I am still not sure what are the odds of hitting 10k  . One says it is 10k, the other says 20k, there is a crazy dude who says nearly 4.3million and so forth but I am not entirely sure what the correct answer. Thequin could potentially say what is the correct odds of hitting 10k and getting 200 dollars. In any case, I feel like there is still enough people playing here that we could hit it at least once a week every week, or maybe even quicker, that is just what I feel like and that is what I think would be realistic. The answer is implied in my last post. It's rounded to the nearest whole number so it has to 20000:1 Thequin could even enlighten us about how many times it is hit every single week and we can see how possible it is. Just because it is a low odds thing doesn't mean it is impossible, it is just that people do not really consider it when they see such a huge number but everything is possible.
It's not something I keep a record of but it is a lot more than the number that claim the $5 reward for posting on the forum. I think most of them don't see it in time to take the screenshot. |

Do not only consider yourself, there are countles amount of people betting here every single day. I do not have the numbers but I am sure it is above 10k+ probably and that means if on average people do it 5 times a day, that is 50k tries at least and hitting 1/10000 chance thing in 50k tries is possible, not saying it is guaranteed but definitely possible.
So, I am guessing there is at least one winner of that every single day, not same people obviously but different people who are all trying and winning. If we knew how many free bets were made every single day, we could have calculated the odds even better as well, but as long as there are too many players we know some people end up winning it every day. Obviously we can't know about it each time someone makes it, that would be weird for the winners.
The chance of hitting 10000 is actually less than 1/10000. I think it's around 1/20000(correct me if I'm wrong), and there's a guy saying it's 1 in 4,294,967,295: The game is provably fair so you can calculate yourself the probability to roll 10,000.
The probability to roll 10,000 is 1 in 4,294,967,295 (~0.000000000233%). That's practically impossible.
The way that works is that the maximum integer from the first 8 characters of the hash is 4294967295 and they divide that by 429496.7295, which results in the largest possible number being 10,000. The key here is that they ROUND OFF the result, so if you roll 4,294,967,294 (-1 from 4,294,967,295) you get ~9,999.999998, which is then ROUNDED OFF to 9,999. They do not hide that from you, it's explained on their page, you just have to do the math yourself.

I personally don't think he's right, because why 9,999.999998 should be rounded off to 9,999 and not to 10,000, which is the nearest whole number? But I'm not sure about this. Maybe @TheQuin can explain it to us in clear language. Of course, he is wrong. that is not how you do rounding. Don't they teach mathematics in schools anymore? This decimal is then divided by 429496.7295 and rounded off to the nearest whole number.

Thank you for the explanation. As I get 66 Satoshi right now per free roll, removing the 44 Satoshi bonus would still give me 22 Satoshi, three times the amount I used to get. Is this permanent?
You'll drop to 44 first then down to 22. There is a further low wagering reduction but with the amount you have already wagered, I can't see that happening to you (it's only meant to effect free players). But if it ever does kick in you can simply keep a balance above $50 USD to get full base reward. |
