Chelsea is actually very good at recruiting star players, Chelsea's only fault is in the coaches and club management who like to change coaches. not a useless player, but a Chelsea coach who can't maximize the potential of players. It's like what you mentioned Aubameyang and Kai havertz who said they were useless for Chelsea. Look at the goals that have resulted in titles in the past... See also Mohammed Salah and KDB being thrown out of Chelsea, what will become of KDB now at Man city?

Pochettino includes the courage to train Chelsea, he is not worried about being fired via telephone like Tuchel who has presented the UCL. can he last long?
Chelsea changed a lot after the British government forced Roman Arkadyevich Abramovich out of Chelsea as owner. Then Todd Boehly took over the club as the new owner which in the end made many changes on the management side. Todd Boehly was desperate to bring instant glory to Chelsea in his first season but the truth is that everything he's done this season hasn't turned out well.

I'm not entirely surprised how Chelsea have been this season because they are essentially in transition. It takes several seasons to build a good team and collaboration both internally and externally, and this will be achieved by Chelsea in the following seasons.
1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you tired of waiting for the jump? Pls Hodl on: June 16, 2023, 01:06:37 PM
I should at least be content with mixed feelings as I become a long term bitcoin holder. Most people think we can do it without any problems and as smooth as a highway, but the fact is that there are many obstacles and challenges that must be passed so that one goal is achieved.

I've been in the market many years now, at least since 2018. So I know how all these processes work and we should be able to manage all of this well. There have been a lot of chasms along the way, even we had to survive the fury of FUD that hit the market, while some panic has fueled the flames to make the price dump sometime badly. If we persist and ignore everything, then there will definitely be a worth it return from it. Buy and hold, it is the most sound advice.

It's a bit odd if we equate Bellingham with Zidane for now.
Nothing out of the ordinary for me, but it's just excessive.

I think we have to see his performance next season, will he be able to make a bigger contribution to Real Madrid or will he need time to adapt to Real Madrid game. Zidane is a big legend at Real Madrid I think it will be difficult for other players to match him. However, Belligham can achieve all of that, but it takes process and time.

Yes, Bellingham arrival was allegedly a great purchase made by Real Madrid's management. I think the strength and expertise he has will be good enough for Real Madrid strength in the next season. Real madrid are always capable of surprises in the transfer window and it is possible that they will make another great signing this season.
Jude Bellingham has yet to prove anything with Real Madrid as he is the latest signing from Borussia Dortmund. He is one of the fine midfielders from England who has the potential to become an important player in Real Madrid's plans next season. I remember how bad Hazard was at Real Madrid despite his star status from Chelsea, so the ex-Borussia Dortmund player also has the possibility of failing.

I just think Bellingham will adapt well at Real Madrid, but playing there won't be easy because of the tough competition between players. Eduardo Camavinga, Dani Ceballos, Federico Valverde, Aurélien Tchouameni are some of the top midfielders who have become important players at Real Madrid, so Bellingham will have to compete with them closely next season.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: June 15, 2023, 09:35:11 PM
So far as Manchester City have Pep Guardiola they still have the chance to win the Champions League next season, Pep Guardiola is the main engine box for the Victory of Manchester City in Champions League this season. Pep Guardiola is a coach that understands how to win trophies and how to use players to get what he wants. I know Manchester City does not have much experience when it comes to Champions League but they have a coach who is capable of making a squad to be tough to win competition.
I agree with you, Guardiola is a genius coach and that's it.
But after all Pep Guardiola will not be able to guarantee anything next season even though he won the treble winner this season. A lot of people didn't expect him to defend the Champions League title, but they weren't Manchester City fans.

There is a possibility that Pep Guardiola will also be successful with Manchester City next season because he still has many quality players. De Bruyne and several other senior players will not be as strong this season, but they can still contribute well.

Next season Manchester City will still  remain one of the best team in the Champions League, but it won't be very easy for them because teams like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will improve and to do better than what they did in the  concluded  Champions League. No doubt that Manchester City is a strong team, but it was so possible for them to win the league because of the poor performance of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
I'm still backing Manchester City to win the Champions League title next season, so I have no doubts with them. But of course, some additions player next season are expected as Mahrez and Gundogan are unlikely to stay around.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 14, 2023, 08:39:42 PM
In last three years, we have good performance from Inter Milan and Inzaghi which is good sign for them with now mostly feeling he needs to be more competitive for the title race with next year could be improved because they already achieve few good wins with Champions League final was really impressive because mostly were no feeling result like this from them against might Manchester City, but their strategy works, and they have done good end. Now again eyes on Serie A which is going to be interesting because Napoli is already lost their winning coach and Juventus is also looking for the better end of next season with we will have three good teams for the title Roma is now also going to have few new legs which will give them better energy for the title race hopefully now things will much better than before the next title race.
It is true that Inter's performance has been good in recent seasons where Inter have won 5 different titles since the 2020/2021 season. This season Inter won two titles (Italian Super Cup winner and Italian Cup winner) and Inter were runners up in the Champions League. If Inter are able to maintain a consistent performance like this next season, then I think they also have a big chance of winning several other titles after a long absence.

Inter's title run in recent seasons has been the same so I think they need to improve.

1127  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to Hodl or buy the Dip? on: June 14, 2023, 08:09:09 PM
When it comes to knowing when to buy or when to hodl, it is my opinion that there is not any certain answer to this question. I have been very wrong so much for my price predictions so now I am just going to hold on and see where this market goes.

My experience with buying and holding is that for the most part of this it is luck. We make these decisions mostly on speculation of what the price will do. There is too many times I did buy the dip and then had big regrets when it dipped down more.
Why don't you combine your strategy with DCA? I think it's a good combination strategy if you buy on the dip.
DCA allows you to have a budget if the price drops after a dip, so you can buy again. DCA has also been suggested instead of spend all your budget into a lump sum purchase, so I guess it's good for any investor to adopt.

Buy and hold during this year to 2025 is a good plan. I believe halving will give me worth it returns, so I need to prepare this investment portfolio as well and as safely as possible.
1128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is ready for $40k on: June 14, 2023, 07:52:38 PM
I would agree that Bitcoin is nearing the next leg up.  I think a little bit of concern around the mtgox situation still remains, but once that is behind us I think we'll end the year in the $40K range.  The real fireworks will begin at the end of next year though.  I think if you're holding Bitcoin here, you have to commit to holding until the 2025 top plays out just to see what you could get if the market does repeat itself again for the 4th time.  I have my concerns whether the Bitcoin economy can survive another massive price increase, but I do suspect we'll get our answer shortly after the next Presidential election in the US.
The Mtgox situation has certainly not gone unnoticed by investors at this time, but investors can still consider the DCA strategy. We must prepare this plan well because the FUD regarding Mtgox will not be much bigger than the potential that can be generated after the halving. The Mtgox problem has been dragging on without a clear resolution, even the distribution plan is not known for its exact date. Of course there is a risk of a deep correction if Mtgox distribution done this year, but I'm not sure they will do it this year.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 13, 2023, 08:51:25 PM
Neymar will leave psg, they don't want him in the club again and they are only waiting for good offers for him. Messi has left the club, now it is possible that psg are going to lose Neymar and Mbappe too, i don't know if that is a good or bad thing for the club, since the era of superstars hasn't worked for the club, maybe the club without too many superstars would be good and successful for them. I don't like how psg run their club, they don't have good owners, and that may be their main problem.
Neymar and Mbappe are still PSG players, but Messi has already left for Inter Miami. The two mainstays of PSG are likely to also leave with other teams either in the same way as Messi or being sold at high prices. Several Premier League teams are interested in Neymar's signature, as well as Mbappe, but so far I haven't found them really wanting to move.

In the end it is always possible for PSG to part ways with their superstar, but they will get a suitable replacement in the future due to their strong financial support. PSG have signed several players right now, so they will still be the favorites in Ligue 1.
1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is There A Time That You Calculated All Your loses In One Year on: June 13, 2023, 08:45:42 PM
What's the point of calculating losses in gambling, unless you plan to quit gambling or save your expenses.
I'm not going to do it, I don't even want to count the winnings. I have to be someone who takes responsibility for what I've done, including gambling. So when I want to calculate losses, then maybe I already want to quit gambling or maybe not spend much money with it anymore.

I currently vote No at your pool, so what's the conclusion?

I turned my attention to Newcastle back in the second half of last season when they started to perform very well after the change of ownership of the club... This season they have been showing class from the start... I think next season in the Champions League they will also do well because usually English clubs do well in that competition... I hope they don't stop surprising...
I would be surprised if Newcastle can make it to the quarter-finals of the Champions League next season, but for now I'm just sure they won't make it to the last 16. Of course they were good in the second half of the season to successfully end the season in the top 4 of the standings, but they really have to realize that the atmosphere of the Champions League is really very different.

I'm just interested to know how many players they will bring in for next season. They have some fierce competition, so an increase in squad depth is to be expected.

Barcelona are interested in getting Gondogan in this summer's transfer window, especially with free agent status where Gundogan contract with Manchester City will end in June. I think his certainty of staying with Manchester City will not come true after he postponed the delay to sign the contract proposed by Manchester City.
Maybe you're right, Gundogan seems interested in moving to other teams including Barcelona considering he hasn't decided his future with Manchester City at the moment. He is old, but he is an influential player.

~Snip
The rumors have been on for sometime now, with the season now over and City have three more trophies added into their trophy cabinet, the players can now make a decision on their future, so that the club can make adequate provision for replacements. Gundogan and Bernado Silva are very important players for City, but i'm pretty sure that if they leave, Pep would be able to identify who he wants as replacements, and the club would try to get them. Kovacic is almost certain to join City this summer and there would be more reinforcements coming in, City wouldn't struggle next season even if they lose these two players.
Of course it will be replaced, but the quality will definitely not be the same.
Gundogan was captain at Manchester City, he has influence in the squad but that will only end soon if he doesn't extend his contract. I've also heard about Kovacic going to Manchester City, but either way the quality won't be the same.

Ilkay Gundogan had a wonderful season this year. He won the admiration and respect of everyone with his performance. However, Manchester City did not offer a contract that would convince him. I think he will definitely leave the team. However, Bernardo Silva has a contract for 2 more years and is one of the most important players of the team. I don't think there is anything that requires him to leave the team. Manchester City will make a transfer to the midfield instead of Ilkay, but I don't think they will make radical changes in the starting 11. I think it would be a risky choice and Manchester City would not prefer such aggressive changes.
I know Gundogan has had a great season at Manchester City in recent seasons, but his unclear contract extension has sparked a lot of rumors of a move elsewhere. Barcelona need midfielder, but I'm not sure if Gundogan is the priority, but Ilkay is fit for the Barcelona game.

~Snip
Gundogan has strengthened his position after so many seasons at City. If he stays, it will be a plus for the club, but if he leaves, City will be able to get a suitable replacement, including young talent Tommy Doyle, who we know is currently on loan at Shefield Unitwd.

Gundogan is also a true warrior who is not a crybaby, always fights and goes all out when given the chance to play, doesn't complain much unlike Cancelo who always feels less and less grateful to have been recruited by Pep from Juventus who did not give him a regular place in the starting eleven.
Pep Guardiola is a genius, for sure. But these two rumored players have been a key part of Manchester City's success in recent seasons. Of course it becomes difficult to get a replacement for them even though regeneration will also occur in a team. Bernardo has the possibility to stay, but Gundogan looks to be changing teams soon.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 12, 2023, 04:36:43 PM
Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan are rumored to be leaving Manchester City soon. I know they have been important players in the Manchester City squad in recent seasons, so I think Manchester City will have a very hard time finding replacements for both of them if both players leave this season.

Gundogan has been linked with move to Barcelona, then Silva will go to PSG. If these reports are true, then of course Manchester City are in big trouble especially about finding the right replacement.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stop gambling (sports betting, casino e.t.c)? on: June 10, 2023, 06:12:39 PM
The question is if you're a gambler or have someone who is, what's the best way to help out. And what's your story on escaping that addiction (gambling)...

How do you fight this battle?
Limit the amount of money you will spend on gambling, do some other activities when you have free time, and avoid associations that allow you to gamble more than before. Those are some of the ways I think of, while you can adapt yourself and your plans in your own way.

Most problem gamblers should consult an expert especially when they are no longer able to control themselves about their gambling. The biggest impact is that the gambler becomes very desperate and tries to end his life by committing suicide. It's just the effects of gambling, so if you don't want to get in trouble then gamble responsibly.

I won't agree to this point because I have seen newbies ranking up with the support from high rank members if they share something useful here on the forum but don't know which newbie account you have noticed getting neglected with the contributions. There are certain examples like @n0nce and @PowerGlove who have gained thr title of discovery of the year award so you would say them exceptional case? They have well technical knowledge which has helped them to reach high target but there are some threads where you can submit applications for merit evaluation also if you try to look for them.
There are only a some of newbies who are as skilled as the two users you mentioned, but the average newbie is those who are new to bitcoin and forum only after realizing other people are making money on it. Some of them are established user alt accounts who uses the newbie mask, so I would never be surprised if newbies actually are able to discuss things well and are knowledgeable about how forums work.

Newbies are the ones who still really need help and guidance, but of course having alt isn't a ban on forums as long as they don't use it to cheat any campaigns or overload the forum with spam post.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Manchester City Get Treble Winners? on: June 10, 2023, 05:35:11 PM
If happens, Manchester City can be the 2nd club in the premier league after Manchester United. We can't ignore who is behind the achievement, yep, Pep Guardiola is one man behind the fantastic squad,

if happens, He is the person who brings the Treble winner for the 2nd time after Barcelona 2008-2009. Pep could bring an 11th trophy for manchester city and a 1st-time champions league title.

Tonight is a great history for Manchester City, I hope they don't waste this chance because Inter is now just an ordinary squad, nothing to special when compared to the final 2021 with Chelsea.

Are you agree? or think differently?, because Inter quite surprised us this year.
Inter are not the most favorite team from Serie A to reach the final this season because Napoli and Milan are the more favorites in my opinion. However, Inter made it through the challenge by beating Milan in the semi-finals and earned the right to advance to the final against Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola is a great coach who has led Manchester City to win quite a number of titles in his last 6 seasons. Including this season, he might make history for Manchester City if he wins his first Champions League for City. I agree that Manchester City will most likely win the treble winner, but only if their performance against Inter is very good. No surprises about Inter, they won't win the title this season.
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 10, 2023, 03:52:49 PM
Even in the last years, I remember Barcelona had good midfielders but they didn't have very good forwards and their team was not dependent on the forwards they have, they usually score goals by using the midfielders they had.
This season Lewandoski was a good performance but I think if Barcelona wants to hire new players they definitely need to hire a young forward to take his place for the next season.
I remember last season Barcelona really struggled to score goals before Xavi came. But after Barcelona signed Xavi then some players like Dembele and Aubameyang really made a good impact in attack. Barcelona's number of goals increased and they became more confident about winning the title even though in the end they had to be quite satisfied with ending in second place. Xavi tried to sign Lewandowski, it turned out to be a great signing for Barcelona and he proved that with a top scorer in his first season.

This season Ferran and Ansu Fati haven't had much to contribute to Xavi's attack, but both have become important players when others have been out injured. Dembele, Lewandowski and Raphinha are Xavi's main players in attack, so their lack of competitiveness is the reason why Ferran and Fati are often on the bench.
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 10, 2023, 03:43:27 PM
It's always interesting to observe Pep's approach to a game. He's known for coming in with a solid plan A, but his struggle has been adapting to plan B when things don't go as expected. If Inter scores first, it could cause confusion for him! I can't wait to see his stress and facial expressions throughout the match. I find Pep's emotional responses just as fascinating. Yes, both teams are equally strong, but if I had to make a prediction, I'd say that Inter might score, but won't able to secure a victory.
I wish Manchester City all the best in their UCL final. I have a feeling that Haaland is going to do something special tonight.
Exciting times will come soon, of course the long awaited final will be played in the next few hours. Manchester City and Inter have their own plans to win the match, but I still think Manchester City will win the match without too many problems.

Haaland and Martinez were the two most eye-catching players of the game, so I'll be looking forward to seeing how they do tonight. The biggest chance is about Manchester City winning, they have a high probability but I'm sure Inter will try their best to win it. My score prediction today is 3-1 to win Manchester City, and I don't think there will be a penalty shootout for the Champions League final.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 09, 2023, 08:52:36 PM
Arsenal will need to bring in some new players to improve their squad depth in order to compete comfortably in these two tournaments. They require it even more today, given how their season ended with them losing the Premier League title to Manchester City.

One of the major reasons was that some of their core top 11 players were injured, and there was no better alternative to fill those spots, therefore they performed poorly and gradually lost the title fight to Manchester City. They need a more powerful and agile team now; they must be fit and compete well in both their domestic league and the European competition.
Arsenal have a good business about signing players, so I have no doubts about the players they are getting. Arsenal have only very rarely looked to be serious title contenders each season, in fact they went off the rails after they got so close to it.

For me, as long as Manchester City are able to keep Pep Guardiola as their coach, so far they will dominate the title race. Manchester City is very clear on its mission despite some believing that Manchester City has committed several offences. I tend to believe Liverpool and Manchester United are much more serious next season, but Arteta can change the vision and mission of the team gradually.
