Could someone please post a step by step process of how to get the wallet up and running again. I downloaded the latest bootstrap but for the life of me cannot get it to work. Dummys guide to updating would be appreciated  For what platform? Windows is OS I thought put bootstrap in appdata\8bit but it is syncing from over 1yr 27wks ago and not loading bootstrap? same here, and it synces with only one node. This is mainly why i asked for a new thread  by the way, i changed the .conf file with all the connect posted two or three pages before, and i added the two nodes by addnode method. |

We will open a new, not moderated thread with a new code base release and coin swap announcement. Till this time let's just grit our teeth and wait  Why no new thread now? Because I don't want to have first pages related to dealing with issues we have now... HOWEVER if you open a new, MODERATED thread that you will end with a link to the final one - I am completely fine with it. Basically people always dig and bump abandoned threads what confuses other newcomers. you are right. When do you expect the relaunch ? ( because new code release, new ann, new features in website ) |

Hi guys, I like this coin, i used it at a moment. I wouldl ike to thank the team behinde it's revival, however i strongly advise you to make a new ANN thread because it is really hard to fetch updates. You know it is not easy to read the 255 pages to catch-up with the project. I also advise you to go for a github wiki on how to use the different systems. I am not a professional user of masternodes or stealth addresses, however i like it's concept. I had been really pleased to know that the blockchain is up and running again Keep up the good work  |

first i want to say very good guide and thanks for it aswell! but i am having an issue when i try to run the compile-blk.sh file i get the following error ./compile-blk.sh: line 5: blackcoin-qt.pro: command not found
make: Makefile.Release: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `Makefile.Release'. Stop.
i dont know what else to do i am stuck does anyone have any advice? Same issue...  simply check path variables using root ==> sudo su (enter password ) ==> export you will get a list of variables, PATH= will be there, if there is no /mnt/mxe/usr/bin: then do under root acces ==> export PATH=/mnt/mxe/usr/bin:$PATH and then retry compile and if you ever do it for the first time i think it also works with ==> sudo export PATH=/mnt/mxe/usr/bin:$PATH but still need to test. |

I don't know if waves is making a binary option platform, but it would be good for the comunity to have some more new "platforms" to play with. As far as i know they are more like NXT ( who will bring a new interesting project )

1- we better want to use our own coin for several reasons : - It will be cheaper and less risky then using FIAT binary options. - Our philosophy is to bring more to the crypto world by expanding his domain of use. - Every coin is unique ( except ponzy and scam coins ) and this one will let us controle the prices of operations in order to make them as much affordable as possible. 2- We aleready gave a small roadmap regarding the launch operation, but for now it is suspended. no other exchange no update from c-cex.
No one will buy because there is no utility to this coin, if you ask yourself "why would i buy this coin ?" the answer will be "I have nothing to do with it, it is not worth spending my bitcoins for it" This is mainly why coins die, no utility = dead. |

We know that many are reticent, however this is the first step for us to truly prove that you can have faith in us. You build trust by using an escrow. How do you expect anyone to take you seriously? It's just one mistake after another. Yes, it is a mistake for you, however we want to build a commnity first in order to maintant and promote the project, and then go for a Biitrex ICO.
