There a plenty of other ways to use them if you have less.

Best way i've found to use them is for captcha-less rolls. But now seems to be harder and harder to keep a good amount of RP on hand, as they burn out so quicly.

Spending RP on no capture is intending just to give a short break. Using them for FREE BTC BONUS was what I always did back when I was a user.

Such as? Even if they add another option for the RP, most people wont be able to exchange them. The most viable idea would be to change them into satoshi or if you could claim for more than 12 times a day, go for RP bonus instead ( I use this sometimes when I got lot of free time )
I do the same when I know and see that my RP is enough to activate bonus rewards. So far, I am saving again because of my daily use of it. My only technique for the benefit is to set a timer every hour but of course, when I go to bed, I stop. I just noticed today that there are minimum points needed to encash to satoshi which is 10K. Has it been before?

It's always been 100k.

Thanks for the explanation @TheQuin. Well, I guess all I can do is....wait. Hopefully it gets at least ONE confirmation in the next few hours? Who knows.

The queue is clearing quite quickly now so if that continues it will be soon now.

Any chance you guys would let us customize our fees in the future to prevent a situation like this? For really urgent transactions (like this one), I would have willingly and intentionally selected an absurdly high transaction fee to ensure it something like this didn't happen.

We have low transaction fees because we consolidate all our deposits and batch together withdrawals making the amount of data for each user's share in each transaction smaller. That does mean that all user's transactions are dependant on each other. To allow individual users to choose fees independently would mean we have to change the entire system resulting in higher fees for everyone. It's a balancing act between faster confirmations and higher fees and we think with the nature of our site the majority would opt for lower fees and the occasional wait.
1164  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 01, 2020, 12:22:14 AM
Anyone else's instant withdrawal been pending for a LONG time? Mine is still unconfirmed after 6+ hours, and normally it's been very fast with freebitco.in (like less than 1 hour to get at least ONE confirmation with an instant withdrawal). Looking at the transaction on the blockchain, it looks like a really low fee was used, like 19-20 sat/Byte. Why is the instant withdrawal this time so much slower and seemingly such a low fee used as opposed to the other 95% of instant withdrawals I've done with freebitco.in in the past?

Can I do anything to speed it up? Feels like I have to wait many more hours, maybe even a day or more?

Thanks.
Better try to reach out support and tell them about this issue or here check if @TheQuin or @freebitco.in PR available then send them message surely they will try to solve your issue and you will able to have your instant withdrawal very quickly.

Hm...ok. I sent them a message. Thanks.

It wasn't a low fee when it was sent out but then after it was sent there was a long gap between blocks being solved. When that happens the mempool quickly gets filled with transactions with higher fees.

Source: https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,2d

It's just part of using Bitcoin. However good fee estimation you use it isn't possible to predict what is going to happen to the mempool just after you send your transaction. Because we use one input and spend the change on the next transaction CPFP means the fees of all our queued transactions are averaged and when the mempool clears out a little bit they'll all get confirmed.

I am pretty sure even The Quin himself wouldn't advise you to do that.

While I trust him, I am also aware that there may always be some stuff that could happen to freebitco.in which is beyond his reach and knowledge.

Stuff like that happens only once and when you get caught while your money inside, it is the end.

I wouldn't get into giving investment advice. Mainly because risk tolerance is a personal thing. To one person 50BTC might mean risking their entire life savings and to another person, it's just one block of many they mined with their CPU in 2010.

all right thank you.
You can follow a suggestion from them, If the "forget password" confirmation link not coming into your email:

Quote
If you are not receiving password reset emails from us, please add noreply@freebitco.in to your address book and then try again.

How to add the email to your address book, you can try to google it there a lot tutorial on how to add email to your address book.

Sometimes it's because they unsubscribed from all emails so we can't send it. In this instance, it was a simple case of him having 10 referrals all with the same fingerprint as himself each having over 900 free rolls each all from IP addresses in a datacentre hosting facility.

Yes, there is definitely a trend where some people deposit a large amount of coin and then they wait for the 4%+ interest every day to gamble with the sites money and not their own.

Huh? The 4% interest is actually annually. Once a year  Smiley

The point he is making is that it is paid daily, not once per year.

Thequin does not worry about him mates, the more you write to him to more he will write back. That is what the trolls feed after, the responses, as long as they do not get responses they can't write to you for too long. They desire attention because they can't get it in real life and the only human contact they could get is online and since they do not have personality that could be liked they go for hate.

We are all here, I have been here since the start when you were selling ad space on crypto ad networks, so I have been around long enough to know every single improvement here. And with all of that history I can tell you that this place is by far the most unique and most outstanding website in all of crypto, not for faucets, not for casinos, but I am talking about all of crypto.

It's just fun messing with them sometimes. He's offering a service related to Bitcoin gambling and has no idea that we're bigger than most of the sites he's working with.

So just a pro tip which i'm sure many already knew, but i found out the other day.
If you deposit $5 in your wallet, captcha is removed.
Just $5 is enough? IIRC, you need to have at least $100 on your Freebitco.in ballance to remove captcha. I had slightly less some time ago and I had to solve captcha in order to claim.

It's a combination of your balance and total wagered as a ratio to total free winnings. So with a small total free winnings $5 would be enough. The balance part of the requirement is capped at $100 so as not to disadvantage old accounts.

Like the guys who lose 5000$ for wagering 10btc to win 1000$ in wagering contest ?

What about the guy who won $300,000 plus the wagering contest, lottery and many daily jackpots?

I believe something fishy there unless you can prove it. Sorry but none of that promotions can cover 5% edge

I believe you are a gormless troll who is spamming my thread in order to try and get some interest in the service you claim to provide.

And if you that great English sinsei  I still believe there is a big difference between chance to win 200$ per hour and win 200$ per hour.

I'm a native English speaker telling you that you are wrong.

However do whatever you want it's your faucet site I don't call it casino but sure you are free to put even 50% house edge.
But deceiving people by competing against them in wagering contests it's another thing.

Prove your allegation that we are competing against our customers or retract your false and libellous claims.

1170  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 15, 2020, 05:11:50 AM
But the weirdest thing and the thing that doesn't  make sense to me is they have a daily race and In That daily race there some guys who wager more than 10btc. I think it's normal untill you come to realize the house edge in this site is about 5% or even more.  So what kind of players who leave a casino with 1% house edge and also daily races and goes to wager 10btc or more on a casino with 5% house edge ?

The kind of player that has enough brains to see all bonuses compensate for the house edge and makes us a very competitive site. Free rolls, free BTC bonus, lottery tickets, reward points, wagering contest, golden tickets, daily jackpot and referral commissions all add up to a sizeable amount to a high roller. That's why we are one of the biggest dice sites around by volume wagered.

Do the only thing that can make sense is that the owner of the website joining that races so all his loses on the betting goes to his house so he lose nothing but preventing others from getting top prizes in race.
Well a person who use a misleading title like win 200$ every hour not a title like chance to win 200$ every hour I believe he can manipulate the races by joining them himself and bet against himself .

That only makes sense to a tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist who doesn't understand the first thing about casinos.

To confuse yourself that the word "win" doesn't implicitly imply chance is not to understand the English language.

P.S : most of the account that posted they won $20 on those thread is newbie with 1 or 2 post perhaps less than 10 posts. Go figure and make your own assumption Tongue

I'll make the assumption that you didn't spend 5 minutes going through that thread to see how many times that's already been discussed and answered.
1172  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: June 10, 2020, 06:11:09 AM
No , never calculated that , have you ? . . . . i did wonder if it was best to convert to tokens , and then from tokens to another coin , rather than coin to coin direct .

Every single conversion carries a 2.5% fee (they say it doesn't, but it does, if you don't believe it, convert btc to ltc then back to btc and see how many btc you lost).
Therefore converting from anything to tokens and from there to something else costs double the fee.

what you are referring to here is the exchange rate bid-ask spread - it is normal in almost any currency/crypto exchange

of course if you convert from one coin to another and then back again you will not get the same amount! so it would be silly to do this  Wink
but its not a fee - that would usually be a fixed or % amount for each transaction - coinpot has 0 fees

You TRULY believe using a different word for the same thing, spread instead of fee, makes a difference on the fact that you lose roughly 2.5% value in every single conversion you do?

He didn't say that it did make a difference. He just pointed out that fees and spreads are two different things. Exchanges that charge fees also have a spread, albeit a smaller one, both fees and spreads are part of the cost of exchanging.

I just won $20 at FreeBitco.in!

Wrong thread. You need to post it here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1850855.0
You also need to put the screenshot online somewhere anyone can access it. I don't have access to your C: drive.

If you add the lottery ticket factor given each 500 satoshi wager, the house edge of this site is actually lower than 5%  Wink

Then add the reward points, golden tickets, referral commissions, free rolls and bonuses and you'll find we are very competitive against the 'low house edge' sites.

1175  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Big wins at FreeBitco.in on: June 07, 2020, 04:28:39 AM

...and there is no image of the roll on the FREE BTC page. Apart from that a good effort.

All eligible claims paid up to this post. Most of the posts didn't qualify because they had no screenshot or the wrong screenshot.

This is how you do it:

1176  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: June 03, 2020, 07:38:01 AM
lol, it would cost more to send out the transactions than they are worth  Grin

Fair enough but there is also no point in sending a 2 sat/byte transaction when there is 70Mb ahead of it in the queue and then telling your customers that the withdrawal is "Completed". That just causes masses of unnecessary support work for the sites receiving those transactions.

the problem is that because of the severely restricted block size on the bitcoin blockchain there just isn't enough space in the blocks for all the transactions at busy times like last week
if coinpot decided to pay hundreds of dollars to push their transaction to the front of the queue then it just means other lower fee transactions will suffer - ultimately causing someone else the "unneccesary" support work that you mentioned.

i think coinpot rightly stood their ground and say...hey our transactions are obviously not highest priority so we will broadcast them onto the blockchain so there is proof the withdrawal is completed and wait until the backlog clears for them to be confirmed on the blockchain
this is what happened within hours of my post - and i received my pending withdrawal along with everyone else - no big drama  Grin

this also means they avoid overpaying fees which would only end up being passed on to the user. so they can afford to keep their blockchain withdrawals fee-free (to me the user!).

tbh i might consider converting in the future and only doing my withdrawals with bch or dash as those coins dont suffer these kind of backlogs  Wink

I am fully aware of supply and demand on the blockchain. My point is that sending out transactions at 2 sat/byte when there is 90Mb of data ahead of them in the queue is pointless. Then telling customers that their withdrawal is "Completed" is misleading and causes many of them to then raise a support ticket at the receiving site.

They should simply tell their customers the truth. That is that they are unwilling to pay the current fees and their withdrawals will be delayed until the mempool clears out and then offer the option for the customer to pay the fee for a quick withdrawal.

Hello everyone, I would like to proudly announce my first ever lottery win;) It wasn't a large amount at all (I would have to win the same amount about 100 times more to get back all my losses hehehe) but I'm not knocking it. It is still a big win for me as it's my first ever.

So now I know, there's no notification, you just win and amount is added to your balance!

Can't remember my stats but I'm sure it was over 0.4% of total tickets so now I know!

Congratulations. I'm pretty sure we'll send you an email telling you that you won but it might take a while to get out.

Again unfounded accusations of my address,

There is nothing unfounded about me catching you abusing through multi-accounting. The fact you have the nerve to complain about the reductions the theft of people like you has caused make you an idiot.
1180  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC🏎Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 25, 2020, 04:40:33 AM
Thx for the quick response.

For example my actual requirement is to buy 1,138 lottery tickets.
What will happen if i buy these tickets without getting free BTC in the meantime? Will all bonuses be available?
Dear friend, do not waste your time on this shit site, with its stupid rules ,if even after passing all the obstacles that they have made for beginners (and this will not be earlier than six months of your time ) you can put a withdrawal amount of $ 5, they can block you without explanation. These people just steal your time, strength ,and nerves and act on their own.

I have been on this website for 4 years without any problems... They don't ban or block your account for no reason.
It is still one of the best faucets around with some great extra features (interest, win a lambo, lottery, ...)
Friend, I have been on this site for 5 years and everything was normal until they began to introduce new rules for unlocking bonuses ,and reduce the reward for the roll, and I do not say anything about hylow ,this is a drain on any strategies 100% without options .And I also talked about newcomers who have not yet released all bonuses and rewards, there is a captcha and did not make a withdrawal .Old-timers don't notice it ,but it's a pity.

All of the limitations were brought in many years ago to counter the amount of multi-accounting abuse we suffer from thieves like you. The only withdrawals that ever get blocked are for multi-accounting abuse and I do give that explanation every single time I am asked. It is the abusers that are to blame for the limitations and reductions everyone suffers. Most of our users are still grateful for the fact that we do still giveaway Bitcoin and haven't been forced to close like most other faucets. Those that also use the site to gamble their own Bitcoin don't get affected by any of the reductions at all. If it upsets you so much you are welcome to stop taking the free Bitcoin.
