Things like this will be taken on a case by case basis. Making an update of something important is probably fine if it's essential, but you can't just use another account as a proxy to ban evade. One or two users in the past have been banned and then just attempted use another member to continue to bump their thread and continue their business which isn't ok. Probably best to ask in Meta and give the circumstances.

You get a month free trial but it's either 12 euro a month or 120 euro upfront for the year and I'll probably go with the yearly subscription. I think you'll have to be German to set it up (or use a German Paypal or credit/debit card, but after that a decent proxy should work with it).

Yes. You would also be able to create your own thread like that regardless of whether it was updated or not as nobody has a monopoly on those sorts of threads and people run them differently and sometimes with different criteria so it wouldn't be a dupe per se.

Edit: Just an update, I would be careful of plagiarising something here. It might be frowned upon if you just copied their thread exactly the same with the same images and format etc, but if someone has been awol for a while maybe that wouldn't be so bad. I would give credit to the original if so.

I think it's been requested before and would be a good idea. I don't usually mark dupe reports as bad unless it's something they do all the time and mistakes and double sending do happen. I think there should be a field to give an explanation to certain reports as well. Some people won't know why something was marked as bad, especially if it was a dupe and one was good and the other not. I don't know how much theymos want to do on this current forum but it's something I hope is on the new one.

Scams aren't moderated by the forum so this has nothing to do with it, but participating in on forum giveaways aren't allowed regardless of whether the company is a scam or not so that's what you were banned for. You can try contact mprep for further clarification but I'd just wait out the ban.

Once you've found the image all you need to do is click the 'insert image' button which is underneath the italics one.

I've asked for clarification on what sorts of posts we should and shouldn't remove regarding warning of potential scams and also sales trashing, but in the meantime it's best to create a self-modded thread and delete whatever posts you want. I would advise not to abuse it though as that can backfire on you if people are asking genuine questions.

Have a look in your drafts. When you go to post a new message it's below the Preview button which is next to Post.

It wouldn't have been a perma ban just a temp one as a warning, but this is why I like to give a PM warning first as many will heed that and often-times people aren't aware of certain rules, but don't worry about it and thanks for the apology.
